Not recommended for allergy sufferers, vegans or vegetarians!! People don't know what's in their sauces. Unfortunately, there has been no development in this regard for about 10 years, because that's how long I've been coming here. So I'd rather drive a little further out with my family to Mom's at Treptower Park, for example. B. or to Li.ke, 1990, nyom,... I also know that we will have a nice evening with super friendly staff/service.

Super friendly, super tasty, super cheap :D I would just prefer limes to lemons. Otherwise it can compete with restaurants in Mitte :) I'm so happy to have such a delicious Vietnamese restaurant nearby! Also respond to requests.

Very nice restaurant with delicious sushi and other interesting dishes. Super tasty drinks and nice staff. Fair prices. Today we had to wait a little longer, which we were not used to. Unfortunately there was no sushi at all because the sushi chef is probably sick and only he can do it. Nevertheless, it always tastes very tasty. Highly recommended.

The best restaurant in the area. Even though I've had more of a wow factor in some other Vietnamese restaurants, the food is always good and there's a lot of it. I usually pick up.

Sushi is really good, big pieces and very fair prices. Their crispy duck is also amazing. Everything is reasonably priced. Be warned only cash no cards.

Food is very tasty, would be happy again

Unfortunately, thanks to the unfriendly staff and service, Hoa Lan has lost another loyal customer base for over years. This poor service has been noticeable for about a year now. Just since two newbies joined us (a waiter and a waitress). New employees throw packaging boxes on our table with the exclamation: “This is how you pack it yourself”. When asked what this impudence is about, they justify themselves with a total lack of understanding and defensively, saying that there is probably “too much going on” (that should be the case). You definitely shouldn't let the customer feel this way) Furthermore, customer requests are largely overlooked and or only fulfilled with a smile. Recently we were not allowed to sit at our desired seat, which on the one hand would have been unobstructed and on the other hand, and much more importantly, had not been reserved. Even the number of people met the number of seats if you shot it that way. This should not have interfered with our desire to sit there. STILL the waiter had a problem with it and ordered us to change to a seat further forward (just as unreserved, same number of seats as our desired table) without saying “please” or “thank you”. In itself it wouldn't be that big of a problem, but the seat we were holed up in was completely inaccessible due to the obstacles around it. (Especially: Why don't you let the customer sit where he wants? If all the seats are occupied, what's the problem? Is the outdoor seat only for premium customers? And at what point do you become one? - For example, if you're over 10 years old is a regular customer: we haven't heard much about it since then) In any case, this action made us so upset that we lost our appetite because we ended up being moved to the same table, just further forward, in an inconvenient position and in a disrespectful way too. Ultimately, as customers, we can't help it that certain tables are displayed without signs. Last but not least, we spoke to the “nice” gentlemen, which was the reason for us to sit somewhere else.. and the answer, as expected from the waiter in particular, was very abusive and unaccommodating. The waiter became loud, interrupted us the whole time and, as always, showed no insight. It went from a small complaint that could have ended with "Yeah, no problem, it won't happen again" to an argument that ended with "We'll never eat here again." I don't really understand how, after all the complaints about certain staff, you don't just replace the staff with friendlier staff. The customer is king, which the current staff absolutely cannot understand. For this reason you feel anything but welcome. It's a shame about the chefs' masterful work and our relationship with Hoa Lan.

Perfect choice for a drop in dinner after a long walk along Spree. Great coconut soup recommendation and did the right choice with rolls and noodles, wanted to eat more but couldn't. And by the way Tiger on draft! A bit loud room, but the food is worth it.

I expect to see more dishes with fish. Instead of fish, there's a shrimp option. Probably it’s difficult to get decent fish in Berlin. Additionally, they do not accept cards, which is quite inconvenient.

Food was very good. The staff however was very unfriendly! The service is also pretty bad. We often had to wait more than an hour for food. All in all I can't recommend it!

We actually really enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately the service has changed. The waiting times have become incredibly long. On our last visit we only wanted to order 2 wontons (starters). After we placed our order, we left after waiting over 35 minutes. Other guests who came later than us had their entire MENU quicker. It wasn't the first time we had to wait a long time! Not again!!!!

Overall great experience. Accessible for people with mobility issues thanks to a small ramp. The place looks lovely and the staff is kind. The menu offers a big variety of asian foods, with a big selection of sushi included. We had a vegetarian spring roll as an appetizer to share, I had sushi and my wife had vegetarian fried rice with tofu. The food was plentiful and overall very tasty. We also had two ginger iced tea mocktails for drinks, but there was a "chemical" aftertaste, like some kind of perfumed syrup, that was a bit too strong for our taste - we couldn't really finish them. Everything else was gold though and we will come back to try more dishes in the future. Important: payment with cash only. Luckily there is a Sparkasse nearby if you need for it. A bit annoying, but it happens alot in Berlin...

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine is served here. The service staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is harmonious. We found the drinks particularly tasty. We would definitely like to come back and will definitely try the sushi.

The food is good. What's annoying is that customers who order from outside are given priority, which makes the waiting time in the restaurant annoyingly long. In this case, a note that the food may take longer to prepare would make things more bearable.

The service here is really bad. We were there with two small children and our food was brought separately, so our children were finished before we even had our food. The kids then wanted to leave and a nice meal together was out of the question. Savings are also being made in the wrong place. There was far too little rice with my meal. I didn't even want to reorder because it would have taken forever. When paying, the waiter didn't give any change, he wanted to take everything straight away as a tip. When we asked for the change, he almost got soggy and just threw it on the table. No farewell. It's a real shame, it seems like they don't need to be nice to their customers.

The restaurant used to be really good. Since the restaurant has become very popular, I can only advise against it. The food is still tasty, but the employees have become extremely unfriendly. If you pick up food, you won't even get your change back and when you ask, the price of the food will be completely different than what's on the menu. It's really extremely bold and outrageous. The wrong food has been prepared countless times and they insist that you eat it anyway.

We tried Hoa Lan because of the good reviews and a personal recommendation. Unfortunately there were only seats available at the back of the restaurant, but that is where the show kitchen and the path to the toilets are. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The prices are ok so far, two people main course and drinks 28.30 euros. Gladly again.

As always, my food was delicious. I love the peanut sauce there! The cocktails are really great too. I can only recommend the restaurant! However, one thing had to be decided. My daughter's flat rice noodles were extremely salty. But that can happen sometimes.

Food is okay, although overpriced for the area, with Berlin Mitte prices (this is because there are no alternatives nearby). The staff behaves exactly the same way, according to the motto: people will always come anyway. Long waiting times on weekends. And what we disliked most as a group: There's no music playing. And the whole thing has a vibe like a market with an open kitchen. Again, pretty high prices for the whole package.

Food is all well and good, tastes good. But the fact that you have to wait over 50 minutes to eat and don't even get new drinks upon request is really bad. If you're hungry, it's better to go to another store.

A bit of a bistro atmosphere, but you can't get better Asian food in any restaurant in Treptow Köpenick. The quality is, in my opinion, simply top. Fresh, delicious, prepared and served with love. You should reserve a table as it is ALWAYS very busy, but the service is still good. Price/performance ratio is very good here and we enjoy eating here regularly.

I've been eating here for years. The food is great, very tasty and recommended. Good quality and fresh ingredients. The portions are large and you will be full. Price-performance ratio really very good. 👍 Unfortunately, over time I noticed that the service was becoming less and less friendly. It would be nice if this could be corrected again. Super tasty food, served nicely and quickly at a reasonable price. Large selection. Mega tasty beef Baked banana with a slightly thicker breading is very tasty. The ambience could be nicer, but there are nice, large tables that aren't close together, which makes it relatively quiet and peaceful in the restaurant. The only drawback: poor time management Even if you call half an hour in advance and supposedly make a reservation without any problems, you are simply left standing there with many others until something becomes available. Very full at peak times and then you can say on the phone that reservations are not possible and that's it.

As always, the food was very good... although I was a bit irritated that all the dishes were chipped somewhere. Of course, there can always be a small corner missing from a plate, but this time I noticed that everything was really chipped. We had four courses and everything tasted very good... I highly recommend the shrimp in sticky rice.

A large selection of different Asian delicacies. The portions are large and the quality is good. In the evening you should make a reservation to get a seat. The service is friendly but has little sense of humor. The acoustics are relatively loud due to the interior when it is full. All in all, a good place to go out to eat with several people if you don't want to cook.

Bestes Sushi was ich je gegessen habe

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant, das beste Essen in der Umgebung bekommt man da!!! Wartezeiten sind maximal 20 Minuten, auch wenn der Laden voll ist. In Corona Zeiten sogar nur 10 Minuten. Essen wird wenn viel los ist, vor die Tür gebracht um alles möglichst Sicher zu halten. Preise sind moderat. Und das Essen wird für das Auge auch sehr gut auf dem Teller angeordnet. Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen sich selbst ein Bild davon zu machen!

Super lecker frisches Essen und tolles Ambiente. Ich war sehr überrascht, dass es sogar Tiger Bier vom Fass gab - für mich bis dato einem Seltenheit. Hervor geben muss man aber das Essen. Es war wirklich sehr gut, frisch, toller geschmacklich. Kann man nur empfehlen und im Vergleich zum anderen Asiaten besonders gut.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend hätte im Service auch 5 Sterne gegeben. Aber der Laden war so gut besucht, dass die Getränke leider erst nach dem Essen kamen. Ansonsten war es sehr gut.

Die Speisen sind appetitlich angerichtet und sehr lecker. Die Auswahl ist reichhaltig und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen. Es ist ausschließlich Barzahlung zugelassen.

Alles schmeckt frisch zubereitet und angenehm natürlich. Die Auswahl ist sehr gross, die Preise vollkommen in Ordnung, grosse Männerportionen und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Sogar Wuffi darf mit rein.

Ich komme mit meiner Frau schon öfter ins hao lan... Und muss jetzt auch mal was loswerden... Wir sind jedesmal satt, nicht mehr durstig und nicht durchgefroren. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich gut und ist sehr frisch zubereitet. Service hat vllt paar Schwachstellen, aber alles in allem recht ordentlich. Wir sitzen immer gerne gegenüber der Küche... Bewusst. Da ich selbst aus der Gastronomie komme und hier auch mal etwas erwähnen möchte , nämlich dass es auch sehr sauber bei euch ist. Ich kenne die Schwachstellen in Küchen sehr gut. Daher auch Ein Lob dafür an euch. Preislich auch alles gut für die allgemeine Situation. Ambiente ist ok... Alles in allem kann ich euch mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Wie kommen wieder

Das Essen ist super, da gibt es keine Zweifel. Jedoch ist es bedauerlich, dass trotz mehrfacher Hinweise (mindestens 7x) auf die seit dem 1. Januar 2023 geltende Mehrwegpflicht nach fast einem Jahr immer noch keine Möglichkeit besteht, das bestellte Essen in Mehrweggeschirr mitzunehmen. Dies stellt nicht nur einen Rechtsverstoß dar, sondern ist auch äußerst bedauerlich. Es wäre einfach, einen entsprechenden Dienstleister zu beauftragen, um dieser Vorschrift nachzukommen. Als Gast würde ich es begrüßen, wenn diese Regelung eingehalten würde. PS: Die Strafen für Verstöße gegen die Mehrwegpflicht sind empfindlich.

Im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants ist es im Winter "schweinekalt" weil dort Durchzug gemacht wird. Man weigert sich die Türe zu schließen. Sehr ungemütlich.

Amazing food there and the prices are well medium … than we ordered the food one of my friends forgot to tell them that he is allergic on tomato’s and unfortunately there were tomatoes added and my friend told them that he hasn’t expected the tomatoes cause normally in Chinese food there is no tomatoes added … the waiter was very friendly and hasn’t charged the food for him!

Wir waren zu viert essen, hatten Sushi,und Hühnchen in einer Mango Curry Soße gegessen. Es war alles frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es sehr geschmeckt und gut gefallen,wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Essen ist wirklich super lecker. Der Service und das Ambiente sind leider nur okay. Innen ist es häufig sehr voll, sodass man manchmal mit Fremden an einen Tisch gesetzt wird - muss man mögen. Zudem ist man umgeben von den ganzen Dämpfen, da die Küche zum Teil offen ist - auch damit muss man klarkommen. Ich persönlich mag beides nicht so gerne, daher jeweils nur 3 Sterne in dem Bereich, aber das Essen ist so gut, dass ich es immer wieder in Kauf nehme und es auch nie bereue, hingegangen zu sein.

wir können das hoa lan jedem hier in der gegend empfehlen. 🍣 ich bestelle meistens sushi und finde es jedes mal sehr gut, lecker und es wird schön angerichtet.. empfehlen kann ich besonders die frittierten rollen und den avocado kokos lassi.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen zum relativ günstigen Preis. Service ist auch super schnell und gut .. lässt nur ein wenig nach, nachdem man 1 Getränk und sein essen hat. Aber alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung 👌 Reservierung fürs Wochende würde ich empfehlen, klappt auch einwandfrei.
