The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service, on the other hand, is already poor, if there are empty glasses there, the service force can actually see that, then I might ask the guests if they would like something else to drink and don't clear the plates three times and the glasses the fourth time and keep asking not.

Food wasn't bad but nothing special either

I was looking forward to spending a nice, cozy evening there with my loved ones today for my birthday, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The seat reservation was not carried out as requested, the reception was very bad with a hostile look. None of us liked the food, it used to be really tasty, but today we could have treated ourselves to it, even the drinks tasted stale. There was hardly any staff at the tables to clear away. The ambience has also deteriorated, apparently nothing is being done there anymore, and this disappointment was offset by the price, which was too expensive for all of this. No longer recommended. For us it was the last time. Sad but true......

Were there after a long time. Unfortunately the entire buffet was only lukewarm. It's a shame about that.

I really like Chinese food but this just wasn't to my taste. There was a lot of food that had nothing to do with Asian cuisine, like pizza from Lidl or pineapple with terrible cheese, the Asian food wasn't necessarily tasty. The “salmon” on the sushi was dyed pollock. Real salmon doesn't rub off on the plate. The sauces that you put on the plate for the freshly grilled food tasted more like the spice packets from the YumYum soups. And the lemon that was in my cola was fermented and the cola tasted a lot like yeast.

Really bad. We have been here 8 times now, each time it is independent of the staff. Today the staff was so unmotivated. The fact that the food was constantly mixed up at the Mongolian grill. There were 3 plates that were fried. It can't be that hard to remember the right thing!

We always enjoy coming there and are very satisfied. The food is very good and the selection is extensive. Above all, I am always happy about the friendly service!!!

We have been there many times and have usually been satisfied, until today! Today I wanted to spend a nice time there with my family. When we arrived and got a table, it was already a table that was very uncomfortable and poorly thought out to get through. If a person wanted to get something to eat, 5 people would have to get up and let the person through first. We asked for a table right next door (keep in mind, today is Thursday and the place was empty). At first we were looked at like a car, why we didn't want the table, I explained the problem, the lady still wasn't happy but said ok. We had something fried and also ate from the buffet. The fried food was inedible and totally over salted. You couldn't finish the entire meal, which also had a strange aftertaste. When the lady was at our table for what must have been the 7th time and the plates were finally cleared away, she said, when she saw a piece of baguette and peel on the plate, that you should please take as much food as you can manage. My 9 month old son dropped the baguette on the floor and I wouldn't give it to him again! What happened next was just embarrassing! Then the * cook * came to the table again and, in a tone that was completely unacceptable, warned us 5 times that we should eat as much food as we eat and so on and immediately! Then my husband pointed out to him that the food that was fried was totally over salted and inedible and we ate it anyway, but when you have a piece of baguette and peel (which you don't eat) something like that sounds like something said? Then he repeated the same thing over and over again, like a broken cassette and was very rude too! My mother-in-law then went back to the lady who had served us and told her again that something like that wasn't possible, that you can't talk to someone with that tone and, to be honest, the cook had really embarrassed himself. Then the chef intervened again and continued to repeat the same thing. I came over and expressed my opinion in a calm tone, after all it was my birthday and I wanted a nice evening. The fact that the food was oversalted is a given, if you don't finish your plate you would have to pay extra and that wouldn't have been a problem if that had been the case with us, but we even ate the oversalted food and didn't say anything ! Then the chef cheekily told me that they would make an exception! Firstly, I didn't ask for this exception and secondly, it wasn't necessary! It's shameless to say something like that, to go to the tables to embarrass yourself and to threaten you twice or three times with the evil finger like in school! Just crazy. Before you go to a table, you ask and talk to your colleagues to see whether anyone has already said something. If your attention is drawn to oversalted food while you're already standing at the table, you should react differently! The chef couldn't say anything about it because it was really bad! In the end we left over 200 euros there! So ice cream was delicious! If you want to have a quiet atmosphere, make yourself something to eat at home, buy a pack of ice cream at Aldi and eat it comfortably in front of the TV at home, but unfortunately you won't be treated well there and will also be admonished for eating food that doesn't taste good eat up! Last time and NEVER again. We would also advise our friends and acquaintances not to do it! It's a shame they scared away customers with such stupidity and shameless behavior!

Good selection and everything very tasty.

Wonderful place, rich menu, friendly staff. They strive to always have everything available and freshly prepared. And they have kept the same price for a long time, which is also a big plus. I highly recommend people who haven't visited to do so.

Been a regular customer for probably 4 years and always went home happy and satisfied. However, unfortunately it hasn't been what it was before for a few months now. We've given it a chance again and again and each time we go, we're more and more disappointed and won't eat there again. - Food no longer tastes fresh, tastes like it was from the day before, which I don't think is possible! (bacteria, hygiene, etc.) - Some of the employees are totally dissatisfied. If something doesn't suit you, they complain and think that despite the fact that they speak a different language, you won't understand them. - Desserts, like the tiramisu, have been observed for a long time if you come even at the opening time, they are only a third full, i.e. they are no longer refilled during the day and some are still frozen. - You should be very careful with sushi, as it is not cold as usual but warm, Otherwise, topics like if you haven't eaten and there are more than 100 grams left over, you should pay €2, I think that's completely fine, but you have to do that for every customer, and not just for a few, people have observed that Buckets where the uneaten food goes, just help yourself there and put your uneaten things in there, then you talk to the waiters and they say, "People are throwing away their bones" even though you can clearly see that there was still a lot of food . - The floor is constantly greasy and is never cleaned. Spiders weave, dust, etc. I would like to thank the Himalayas for the beginning and it was very great, very nice and tasty, but it hasn't been recommended at all for a long time.

If you want to fill up quickly, tasty and cheaply, this is the right place for you. But you don't need to be under any illusions about organic quality, animal welfare, glutamate and fat. In the middle of the restaurant there are several counter islands, one of which offers the components for the main course. The offering is above average compared to other Chinese restaurants. The food is mostly fried or fried. There is usually (here now referring to the lunch menu) chicken, duck, squid rings, shrimp, spring rolls, baked banana, seafood, beef, curry, "eight treasures" and more, as well as fries, croquettes, fried or boiled rice or fried noodles as a side dish. At least at lunch it can be observed that the buffet is quickly replenished, so I cannot understand some of the reviews that criticize this at all. For the sake of sustainability (throwing away food), you shouldn't expect to have everything on offer until the last minute. At normal dinner and lunch times, I've never had a problem not being full here. At other counter islands there is salad, sushi and dessert (and in the evening the expanded buffet at a higher price). The dessert department consists of various types of ice cream that you can put together yourself from large commercial packages (it would be nice if the water container for the ice cream scoops were replaced every now and then), sauces as well as sliced ​​pineapple and other fruit. As far as I know, the popular chocolate fountain is only in operation in the evenings during the larger buffet. In view of the observations that and how people dip their fingers in and the fact that the fountain is left to cool down at midday and I speculate that it will of course be completely emptied and cleaned by the evening and not just new chocolate added to the existing one, I am happy to accept this Distance. Especially not on the other days of the week. Tip: If you need some exercise after a greasy meal, you can do so on the cycle path on the Hönne or on the forest sports path at Hexenteich ;-)

Very large Chinese restaurant, with self-service, ambience not very inviting. Meat dishes were ok, baked goods were way too fatty and cold... We ate with 26 people, there wasn't even a tablecloth🙈🙈

Unfortunately, the food is too salty, (buffet and grill) typical Asian trick, especially in local places where drinks are not included. If you ask the staff about it, they will ignore you and continue to salt you away. Sometimes there is so much salt in it that it is no longer edible.

Unfortunately the quality was very poor. The price has risen sharply. That was the last time I ate something like that. People are often disgusted by the food bowls. Plates often greasy and dirty.

Fraud?! The buffet is significantly more expensive on site than can be seen in the menu online. Apparently, a low price is deliberately advertised online in order to stand out from the competition. The lunch doesn't justify the price. Food is only replenished slowly and high-quality food is not available at all. In addition, there is a small selection of dishes, fast but not particularly friendly waiters.

Friendly service and plenty of different food

Despite pre-ordering by phone, I had to wait 20 minutes for my food. Sometimes the restaurant closes unexpectedly or no one answers the phone. However, the food is tasty.

Five of us from the former college had dinner there on Friday. It looked pretty good on the homepage, so we thought we'd test it out. That turned out to be a mistake. The food was lukewarm and didn't taste good at all. If you ignore the artificial leather on the benches, which had numerous cracks, it was okay given the location. We were there at 6 p.m. and it was about half full. We were a group of former work colleagues and of course we had a lot to talk about. The staff wasn't at all on their toes because you had to divide your drink carefully because even when called, the waitresses were very hesitant and anything but friendly. We were each at the buffet twice in the 3 hours, and when we wanted to get a bowl of ice cream at the end, a waitress came and said that we weren't allowed to eat anymore because we had already been there for 3 hours and the buffet only lasted for 3 hours . If we wanted another ice cream we would have to pay for the buffet again. Of course that left us speechless. We each only ate 2 plates in 3 hours. Apparently the boss noticed our displeasure and then allowed us some ice cream. We found that to be absolutely impossible. And the store was only half full and decreasing. Regardless of the experience, it just didn't taste good. I absolutely cannot understand the positive experiences of some of the reviews here. I only knew Chinese food from Shangri La (and that was great) in Letmathe when it still existed and of course I went to the Himalayas expecting it and was completely disappointed!!! None of the five of us will probably go to this “store” anymore. P.S. When I see the mushy "copy and paste" reaction to some negative reviews from the boss, it confirms my experience. That's not how you treat customers. That's not how you advertise yourself!

We bought the “to good to go” meal packages there. Wonderfully quick and professional. Of course the food tasted good too.

If you like food that isn't warm or generally doesn't like food that doesn't taste good, this is the place for you. A buffet that is not replenished or only very late. If you don't know where to eat, it's ok, but nothing more.

Four of us arrived around 8:30pm on a Saturday evening. When we ordered drinks we said we wanted to eat buffet style. It was completely empty. So first soup - really tasty. When things looked the same in the second round, I spoke to the staff. And found out that they don't refill at that time anyway...let's be clear. I don't when I choose buffet. So I criticized the fact that I wasn't informed of this upon arrival. I was then told in a very cheeky tone that I should say what I wanted and he would deliver it. Great, because on the one hand I don't know what's inside when bowls are empty and crusty - on the other hand, that's the point of eating a la carte. Which I would have liked to have done with a note at the beginning. So it was just unpleasant and a bit disgusting. But expensive, because since we were invited, I didn't want to reduce or refuse the payment. But we agreed...one star only because you can't give none. The restaurant has a pleasant space...very large, but without the typical train station atmosphere. Unfortunately I didn't have a cell phone with me, so no photos.

The only point of criticism: There are no more chopsticks!

Were here today. Had reserved a table for 4 people. This unfriendliness struck us as soon as we entered the restaurant. After we sat down we looked at the menu for a whole 21€ per person for buffet!! We were blown away...when we asked if that was the price per person we were treated so rudely. I didn't want to go there anymore because of the unfriendly way I was persuaded. I already knew why I didn't want to go there anymore. The price for the buffet is also ridiculous. 0 stars for this restaurant

So far it's always been good. Buffet is very rich. The offering on the menu could be a little more extensive. Not enough shrimp dishes, overall the menu is quite poor. It was very tasty, the chefs know their craft. However, I have to complain that the prices on the menu have not been changed. When I was there last Friday I definitely paid more than the price on the menu. This may also be because the prices were increased at the turn of the year. It would also be nice if the dishes from the menu were kept warm on a surface with candles, as is common in other Chinese restaurants.

We ate there with several people on Sunday evening. The food was a bit higher quality compared to other places in the area. We enjoyed it. The service and clearing service were also good. But it was very, very cold. Away from the buffet you were freezing. Many people put on their jackets. There was no sign of a defective heater. Either the heating system was turned down so low to save costs or the temperature was chosen so that the guests didn't feel comfortable and didn't stay for long. I'd rather pay 1 euro more per person. Again only in summer.

Es war sehr lecker. In diesen großen Restaurants schwankt es ja häufig, was die Qualität angeht. Hier bin ich aber noch nie enttäuscht worden.

Essen sehr gut waren alle zufrieden

Wir waren heute das erste mal um 17.30 Uhr da. Es war sauber und die Bedienung sehr nett. Essen war reichlich da. Die vorgegarten Essen waren lauwarm bis kalt. Das Mongolische war heiß aber Tot gegart ( das Fleisch und der Fisch waren noch gefroren). Nachspeisen waren toll. Wir haben die Bedienung darauf angesprochen und Sie erklärte höflich* viele Leute viel Essen* das kann passieren. Wir sind nach 1 Std gegangen sowie der Nachbartisch der dies genauso sah.Noch einmal muss nicht sein.

Der Sitzbank am Fenster ist sehr durchgesessen gewesen leider. Das Salatbuffet war nicht mehr frisch. Die gebackene Bananen waren innendrin grau und gar nicht frisch !!! Sehr schade könnte viel besser sein !

Das Essen ist schön angerichtet, die Auswahl ist reichlich, die Zutaten fürs mongolische brutzeln scheinen alle sehr frisch, teils gefroren. Das Nachtisch Angebot war auch sehr gut. Nur die fertigen Gerichte könnten heisser sein. Auch der Reis war nur lauwarm.

Ich reservierte einen Tisch in diesem Restaurant für vier Personen. Als wir eintraten, war niemand am Eingang, und wir mussten etwa fünf Minuten warten, bis jemand kam, um uns zu unserem Tisch zu führen. Der Tisch war schmutzig, und auf dem Boden lag Nudeln herum. Der Mitarbeiter des Restaurants wischte den Tisch ab, bemerkte aber den Schmutz auf dem Boden nicht. Ich wies darauf hin, und er räumte es mit einer Serviette weg. Wir entschieden uns jedoch, an einen anderen, sauberen Tisch zu sitzen. Die Bedienung war insgesamt in Ordnung, das Essen auch gut, außer den Gerichten, die wir zum Nachbraten gaben – sie waren roh und geschmacklos. An diesem Tag war das Restaurant sehr voll, und der uns bedienende Mitarbeiter schien unzufrieden, vielleicht müde. Es war kühl, und auf den Tischen gab es weder Salz noch Pfeffer. Wir beschlossen, dass wir dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen werden.

Leckeres Essen und man sitzt gemütlich

Die Auswahl an Essen ist vielseitig, Service freundlich wie immer... Ein wenig dunkel drin sonst super...

Das Essen war reichhaltig und sehr lecker, im Anfang hätte es etwas heißer sein können, Hinterher war es Klasse. Nette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Preis/Leistung war auch gut. Wir waren das erste Mal dort, aber ganz sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es nur weiter empfehlen. Vllt beim nächsten Mal die Heizung etwas höher drehen, es war recht frisch.

Essen ist okay, vor allem das Gebratene. Buffet wird regelmäßig nachgefüllt, jedoch nach 20:00 Uhr immer seltener. Einige Bedienungen sind freundlich, andere weniger

Ein phantastisches Buffet, das keine Wünsche von Fleisch, Fisch, Gemüse oder Salat offen lässt. Fleisch und Fisch kann man roh auswählen, nach eigener Vorliebe zubereiten lassen und bekommt es dann frisch an den Tisch gebracht. Tische stehen in Nischen, wodurch etwas Privatsphäre entsteht. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren samstags Abend um 18 Uhr da. Das Buffet wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt, nur leider war das Essen zu 90% kalt, schlecht gewürzt und absolut zäh. Die Tische standen so dicht beisammen, dass man sich nicht in Ruhe unterhalten konnte. Es hatte ein wenig was von "Bahnhofs-Flair". Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und werden nicht mehr hingehen.

Großraumbuffet mit typischen Einheitsessen & Geschmack,zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, sonst aber nichts spektakuläres. Wir waren am Mittag dort, möchten es aber nicht erleben, wenn am Abend volles Haus ist.

Ist okay. Halt ein typischer „Chinese“. Wer da nix findet ist da falsch. Böse gesagt, Massenabfertigung. Der Innenbereich ist je nachdem welche anderen Gäste da sind, etwas lauter. Boden ist sehr rutschig. Personal ist nett.

Da Essen war soweit OK, könnte nur frischer und besser gewürzt sein (gebratene Nudeln) Die Sitzplätze sind sehr eng zusammen gestellt, sodass rechts und links von dir, jeder dein Gespräch mithören konnte. Auch unangenehm, wenn deine Sitznachbarn beim aufstehen sich dicht an deinem Tisch vorbei gehen müssen. Bedienung aufmerksam und sehr nett. Der Preis von 19,80€ für ein 10 jähriges Kind finde ich persönlich sehr hoch angesetzt. Meine Enkeltochter z.b. isst eine handvoll gebratene Nudeln, eine Eiskugel und evt. Noch ein kleines Stück Wassermelonde und dafür zahle ich dann 20€. Schon heftig

Ich weiß nicht warum so viele negative Bewertungen geschrieben werden. Wir waren heute Mittag zum Buffet, beim reinkommen schon alle sehr freundlich, das Essen war gut aufgefüllt und heiß, es war sehr lecker und sehr viel Auswahl. Und nochmal, alle freundlich und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne nochmal wieder.

Geschmacklich war es nicht so der brüller. Der Service war auf das nötigste beschränkt. Kein Fragen nach neuen Getränken oder Ähnliches…. Wir brauchen es nicht noch einmal….

Gutes chinesisches Restaurant. Sauberes Buffet

Beschreibung in einer Auflistung: - Erwähntes Geburtstags"kind", wurde mit keinem besonderen Blick oder einer Silbe beachtet. Ein freundlicher Satz bezüglich des besonderen Tages hätte doch sehr gefallen. - Nach ca. 50 Minuten wurde schon von seitens des Personals nachgefragt, ob wir die Rechnung wünschen? Gläser mit Getränken teilweise noch gefüllt und man war eigentlich mit dem Essen noch nicht fertig. - Geliebte Erdnuss Soße ist leider sehr dünn flüssig angeboten worden, so dass man eigentlich ein Löffel benötigt hätte um diese aufzunehmen. Dies war mal anders. Wir kennen dieses Restaurant schon seit langem und hatten es eigentlichin guter Erinnerung, doch dieser Tag revidiert leider unsere Meinung.

Das klassische asiatische billig Menü.Es schmeckt alles ähnlich und nach Glutamat. Ambiente ist eher kalt und geschmacklos.
