Friendly and delicious ramen ^^

Me and my friend went to eat here twice and both times the food was delicious. The first time we both got ramen and I finished my bowl completely. The second time we got the Teriyaki Tori rice and a ribeye don bowl and got a matcha mochi ice for dessert and always get the gyoza. 100% recommend this place if you want good Japanese food coming from an Asian.

Friendly service and super delicious food, even for vegetarians. It's best to reserve online in advance.

We were there in a group of 6 people. We waited 10 minutes to get a table. That's not a problem at a ramen restaurant, but rather the norm, and relatively quick for such a large group. After we sat down, we waited at least 25 minutes for our order to be taken. This only happened after two inquiries. It took 20 minutes for the appetizers to arrive, and the drinks still hadn't arrived. However, when we asked for them, they arrived after another 5 minutes. It took more than 2 hours for us to get our ramen. While we were waiting, several guests came, ate, and left again. Only after we asked twice did the waitress finally come, apologize, and explain that the restaurant is currently suffering from a staff shortage, and therefore it might take a little longer for large groups. She then assured us that the ramen would arrive in the next 5 minutes. That was true, and at 9:20 p.m., when practically all the other guests had left the restaurant (more than two hours had passed since we sat down), our soups finally arrived. We had a good chat, reordered drinks several times, and actually had a nice evening. It was still annoying, though, that we had to wait so long. The waitress volunteered to offer us a 10% discount, which we accepted, and which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of one. Now, the food: The ramen broth tasted of nothing. I don't mean that it was underseasoned or anything like that. It literally tasted like water. I had ordered the miso seasoning, but it wasn't listed on the bill, and my broth didn't taste like it either. After the long wait, I didn't want to have the mistake corrected. Our theory was that, as the last guests of the evening, we were served the watered-down leftovers of the broth for the store. It certainly wasn't tasty. If only the ramen had tasted good...

I'm obsessed with Hikoo restaurant and have brought friends and family to eat here. I eat here twice to once a week. I bring my pet dog with me and the ramen is soooo delish! Also, their one drink with the mint leave in it and some type of fruit, is sooooo good and refreshing! Staff is so friendly and they already know what I'm going to order. Love this place! I only do walk-ins but they always ask me if I have a reservation, so I do recommend you make a reservation if you come here during the busy times.

The restaurant doesn't care how long it takes to serve guests, not willing to hire more people. Take extreme lone time to be served. Wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Kakigori! Light, refreshing, and not too sweet! The ice cream is made with milk, making it much softer than regular ice cream, and combined with the sweet red bean, it's simply perfect. Perfect after dinner!

I recently ate here with a friend. The food was incredibly delicious. The fried vegetable gyoza were very tasty. The edamame were also good, but a little too soft for my taste. We had ramen twice for main courses and were both very satisfied. We also mostly enjoyed the moji for dessert. The next day, however, I unfortunately discovered that the amount I paid had been debited from my account twice. After consulting with them, I received my money back very quickly.

After the meal, I ordered shaved ice. The combination of soft milk shaved ice, strawberries, and strawberry syrup was perfect. One order is enough for two people, and I think it's really good to order in the summer!

For me, Hikoo is clearly the best place for ramen in Mannheim. The quality of the ingredients, the taste, and the atmosphere are all just right. My absolute favorite ramen is the Karadama Tofu Veggie, but be careful: it's spicy! 🌶️ If you love spicy food, you'll love this bowl. The broth is intense, full-flavored, and perfectly balanced. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Other ramen on the menu are also great, but for spicy lovers, Karadama is a must. A clear recommendation!

Absolutely beautiful! I love the decor, which creates a lovely vibe. Plus the great music and, of course, the delicious food. The portions are generous and really fill you up. The service is also super friendly. You immediately feel welcome. I recommend a visit to everyone!

Large selection of soups and appetizers. A special feature at Hiko: You can customize your soups or choose from pre-made versions. The service is excellent. Takeaway is also no problem.

I ordered pork tonkotsu ramen, fried dumpling salad (newly launched) and curry chicken rice. The price and quality of the food here are acceptable. After all, I eat too much bread in Europe... I also met a Chinese who was studying in Germany. We had a good chat. It's rare that he can speak Chinese. 😊

The food was extremely good, one of the best Ramen I had. 🍜 I can recommend the tantan broth. Also the service was very attentive and polite! 🙌🏻 You can also pay with foreign credit cards as they use sumup!

The best veggie ramen we've ever had in Germany. You can tell the broth was cooked for a very long time. The toppings were also delicious. The service was super attentive and friendly, despite the language barrier.

Really delicious ramen, also suitable for vegetarians. The portions are quite large and really delicious. You should definitely try the Japanese beer there! They had fruit in the bottom, which made the beer incredibly refreshing.

So today I went to Hikoo for the first time with a work colleague and friend. I've walked past it many times and considered going in, but it was always very crowded. I'd only heard good things about it, so this time we made a reservation. And what can I say, now I know why it's always so busy here. You get really good food here at a fair price, and as a beer drinker, I have to say that Japanese beer tastes very good and is good for quenching thirst :) I'll definitely be coming back more often, especially because of the very friendly and attentive staff.

Our second time eating at Hikoo (first time in the L10) and still very impressed with the taste. The spicy gyoza is still the best we ever had, definitely a menu we will continue to order everytime we visit. We also tried the takoyaki, it was soft and delicious. For the ramen, we ordered the tan tan ramen and cheese ramen. Tan tan ramen was my favourite so far and the cheese ramen was deliciously flavourful, especially when added with chilli oil. The taiyaki was filled generously with red beans and was deliciously chewy. The mochi ice cream was also delicious, especially the black sesame mochi ice cream. The yakult yuzu soda was not the greatest. In overall, Hikoo is on top of our favourite ramen place to visit.

Tasty Ramen and Gyoza for a reasonable price. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We sat outside and it's pretty quiet because it's a side street.

I've been to Hikoo L10 3 times and can highly recommend the Tan Tan Ramen :)

The new yuzu ramen is a very good combination of classic, authentic ramen with a slight acidity from the yuzu fruit.

After the last change to the menu, my favorite ramen is missing, but the service is friendly and the location is OK.

Nice place for good ramen. There was a queue to enter the restaurant when it was about to open, once inside and it had to be ordered, it was good to have alternatives. There was classic ramen but also their own variations but I went but a classic ramen with pork. Very good, I would personally recommend to those who like good ramen

Best ramen in the area. Tonkotsu is creamy and thick. Noodles are perfectly chewy. Chasu is tender and flavourful. Rivals what you can find in big international cities like NY and Vancouver. Also has a lot of fun and interesting specials.

I actually visited all the well-known ramen shops in the Rhine Main on February... I really liked Hikoo... The quality of the food is perfect...the taste was really incredibly good...the staff was very friendly and attentive... I'll be back

Personally, I like the Hikoo Chicken Concept better, but this ramen is just great. You urgently need a reservation at least one day in advance. Sometimes you're lucky and it's enough in the morning if you want to eat in the evening.

The Hikoo has a wonderful Japanese ambience and, in addition to the great central and northern Japanese dishes, also offers Japanese pop music that makes the stay even better. The food was of high quality and tasted impeccable. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere in the store was very good.

Medium average. In my opinion, much hype less taste.

Always packed, you may often find yourself sitting at small, simple tables with benches like in a snack bar, shoulder to shoulder with the people at the next table. Reservation is not wrong. This means you don't have to wait at the entrance until a space becomes available. The food is solid, authentic and very tasty, whether gyoazas, wontons or of course ramen in all variations. The portions are pretty decent. The service is very friendly and attentive. In my opinion, a discount would be appropriate for the vegetarian/vegan dishes. Unfortunately, when you eat a plant-based diet you usually pay just as much as meat eaters, which I don't think is appropriate for the times. The prices are more at restaurant level... for a small appetizer, two large portions of vegetarian ramen, two beers and an apple spritzer with a 10% tip you're almost €60.

The best ramen I've ever eaten. Clear recommendation! The Tantan Ramen I ate was served quickly shortly after the starter and tasted very good. At peak times it is advisable to reserve a table in advance as it is almost always busy. A small drawback are the uncomfortable stools, which are really uncomfortable in the long run, especially for tall people. Nevertheless, we would love to come back!

The ramen was tasty, but the broth was rather tasteless. I've had better ramen in the region. In my opinion, the store is getting a lot of hype through social media... The menu is pretty well-worn and the rest of the restaurant is rather spartan. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic evening for two - you sit close to each other and the background noise is very loud.

Before I entered the store, I noticed that the word ``ramen'' written on the sign outside was strange, so I thought I wouldn't have my expectations too high, and as expected, the taste was just as I expected. If you want to experience "overseas ramen", I don't think this is the place. It's delicious to make your own ramen by adding ingredients to instant dried noodles that cost less than 2€ at the supermarket. ❌Ramen: The pork bone and soy sauce soup had a vague taste, was too lukewarm (people overseas might not slurp it because it was hot), and the noodles were slimy and lacked elasticity. ❌Vegetable gyoza: out of the question. Even though I ordered it grilled, it was cold and there was no browning. Is thick skin a Chinese style? Thank you for the meal.

The Hikoo Restaurant impresses with its minimalist, authentic Japanese ambience, which immediately creates a special atmosphere. The dishes are fresh and taste excellent - especially the dessert, dorayaki with matcha and anko filling, is an absolute highlight. The yuzu lemonade rounds off the experience perfectly with its refreshing note. A must for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine!
