Great restaurant. I've been going there every time since my first visit! Simply superb.

I've been there twice already and would go again anytime. The food is delicious and the service is always very friendly.

We ordered through Lieferando and were very disappointed! First, it was delivered an hour and a half late (the delivery note showed a completely different time). Then, it was lukewarm, everything was overcooked, the tempura was soggy and barely fried, and the gyoza were far too pale and soggy. It had little to no flavor, and the noodles were overcooked. No explanation or anything else was offered. We do NOT recommend this service, and it was inedible.

Finally, a place that isn't your typical Japanese sushi restaurant! The place is always packed, so you should definitely make a reservation. They just need more space, and the staff is incredibly friendly despite being so busy. The food is consistently excellent. And we've been there several times already.

The food was absolutely delicious. It was a bit odd to be told right away that we could only stay for an hour. That dampened the whole evening. Nevertheless, the food was very good, and the service was equally so.

Made a reservation earlier in the day for same day dinner for 2. Definitely recommend for a weekend. Place was packed and we only had 1 hour. We each had Ramen and shared gyoza. It was all good and for a decent price. Had some Japanese beer as well and good tea. Friendly service.

I've wanted to eat ramen for ages, but I never got around to it, and I almost had my first time in Japan. Today I finally tried it there and was very satisfied. I had the vegetarian tofu version and was extremely happy with it. The noodles and broth were both excellent. I'd definitely order it again!

I got recommendations from my partner. We went here during dinner time. Which is to our surprise we have to wait in line. Thats why better and recommended to made reservations. I have no idea how long we wait to get a chair, but at least we are waiting inside not outside the restaurant. They have nice atmosphere and they play some japanesse music pop. Staff pretty nice and also friendly. We order Tea and Soda drinking and fried Gyosa plus two noodle. Whic is to my surprise I love it. So no wonder they are crowded, especially during winter. You want to eat something warm right.

I have so many cozy and good memories here, and have been meaning to leave a review for a while. My favourite Ramen spot in the city, with very well organised staff, and soul warming ramen. (Atmosphere would be 5/5, its just often quite noisy because it's busy, but there is nothing you can do about this when the place is doing well and everyone is having a great time enjoying food together)

Compare to ramen i had in Japan, Vietnam or Malaysia, the ramen broth here are really on the light side. The noodle is good, meat (either chicken, pork or beef) are decent. I am in between rating 3 and 4 because of the broth. But overall, with the good service, this is a pretty ok place.

I've eaten ramen many times in my life, including in Japan, and this was undoubtedly one of the tastiest. The atmosphere is very cozy, yet informal; the look of the dining room is reminiscent of tradition and has a homey feel. The frequent presence of guests of Middle Eastern origin reinforces the impression of the authenticity of the cuisine offered at this restaurant. Truly delicious, I'd gladly return.

The food was delicious, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the flavor was truly impressive. I would especially like to highlight the very friendly and courteous service. The staff was attentive, polite, and even catered to my allergies and intolerances, which I really appreciated. One small drawback, however, is that the restaurant is quite small and busy. Unfortunately, this also makes it quite noisy, making conversation rather difficult.

The soup is very rich and aromatic, and the noodles are nice and al dente—I really like it! The server is full of energy, very friendly, and engaging. Be sure to reserve a table in advance.

I went to Hikoo Ramen in Mannheim and honestly — wow. I had their special ramen, and it was amazing. Perfect level of spice (enough to wake you up but not set your face on fire), rich broth, and everything just hit the spot. The atmosphere is cozy but modern, and the staff were super friendly. They also have beers and a nice selection of other drinks, which just makes the whole experience even better. What can I say, this ramen restaurant is simply perfect! Here you can get the best ramen in Mannheim, the menu leaves nothing to be desired, and the food is simply delicious. I recommend making a reservation because it can get very busy, especially on weekends, and for good reason! Whether you're alone or with friends and family, you'll always feel at home here.

The best and most authentic ramen! We've eaten here so many times, and it's always incredibly delicious. The service is friendly and fast. I would recommend making a reservation in advance, as it gets busy even during the week. You can easily do that online.

Come in and feel at home! It's really cozy and yet uniquely decorated. It's also clean. The service is friendly. I had the M8 Veggie Miso Ramen. I wish it had a lot more vegetables. The taste wasn't 100% my cup of tea, but that could well be because it was authentic Japanese flavors, and I'm not used to them. I can't judge that. Update: You shouldn't order beef dishes here. A colleague and I have both independently experienced that the beef is of poor quality and poorly prepared. It's tough and very stringy. The pork and poultry are good, though. Today I had a pork dish, and it was really delicious.

The absolute best ramen bar in Mannheim. I've honestly never eaten such delicious ramen. They also offer a vegan selection, but unfortunately, not all of them are clearly labeled. Allergens aren't clearly listed either. Communicating with the staff regarding allergens is a bit difficult, as they don't speak German very well. But the taste of the ramen makes up for it :D

Super delicious donburi, and if you wish, you can also get delicious chili oil and chili flakes at your table. The chili gyoza were delicious, and the edamame were also delicious. A very interesting selection of Japanese drinks. Even without a reservation on a Saturday, the two of us managed to find a seat. It was a great meal with friendly service and beautiful Japanese-style decor.

We wanted to try the food at this restaurant. After waiting outside for about ten minutes—because the tables hadn't been cleared yet—we went inside to ask where we could sit. Eventually, a table was cleaned for us, and we were seated. After studying the menu, we waited for over 40 minutes, but the waitress never came to our table. Instead, she served other guests who had arrived after us and paid us no attention. We said nothing and simply decided to leave. I sincerely hope this kind of behavior toward guests isn't a regular occurrence—because if it is, this restaurant probably won't be around much longer.

We were there two minutes before opening on a Saturday and got in right on time. The restaurant filled up quickly. The food was served at a reasonable pace. I had "Kuro Miso Chashu." The ramen was delicious. For dessert, we had a "Taiyaki," which I also really enjoyed and highly recommend. The staff was super friendly. I'd happily go there again.

Me and my friend went to eat here twice and both times the food was delicious. The first time we both got ramen and I finished my bowl completely. The second time we got the Teriyaki Tori rice and a ribeye don bowl and got a matcha mochi ice for dessert and always get the gyoza. 100% recommend this place if you want good Japanese food coming from an Asian.

I'm obsessed with Hikoo restaurant and have brought friends and family to eat here. I eat here twice to once a week. I bring my pet dog with me and the ramen is soooo delish! Also, their one drink with the mint leave in it and some type of fruit, is sooooo good and refreshing! Staff is so friendly and they already know what I'm going to order. Love this place! I only do walk-ins but they always ask me if I have a reservation, so I do recommend you make a reservation if you come here during the busy times.

We were there in a group of 6 people. We waited 10 minutes to get a table. That's not a problem at a ramen restaurant, but rather the norm, and relatively quick for such a large group. After we sat down, we waited at least 25 minutes for our order to be taken. This only happened after two inquiries. It took 20 minutes for the appetizers to arrive, and the drinks still hadn't arrived. However, when we asked for them, they arrived after another 5 minutes. It took more than 2 hours for us to get our ramen. While we were waiting, several guests came, ate, and left again. Only after we asked twice did the waitress finally come, apologize, and explain that the restaurant is currently suffering from a staff shortage, and therefore it might take a little longer for large groups. She then assured us that the ramen would arrive in the next 5 minutes. That was true, and at 9:20 p.m., when practically all the other guests had left the restaurant (more than two hours had passed since we sat down), our soups finally arrived. We had a good chat, reordered drinks several times, and actually had a nice evening. It was still annoying, though, that we had to wait so long. The waitress volunteered to offer us a 10% discount, which we accepted, and which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of one. Now, the food: The ramen broth tasted of nothing. I don't mean that it was underseasoned or anything like that. It literally tasted like water. I had ordered the miso seasoning, but it wasn't listed on the bill, and my broth didn't taste like it either. After the long wait, I didn't want to have the mistake corrected. Our theory was that, as the last guests of the evening, we were served the watered-down leftovers of the broth for the store. It certainly wasn't tasty. If only the ramen had tasted good...

The restaurant doesn't care how long it takes to serve guests, not willing to hire more people. Take extreme lone time to be served. Wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Kakigori! Light, refreshing, and not too sweet! The ice cream is made with milk, making it much softer than regular ice cream, and combined with the sweet red bean, it's simply perfect. Perfect after dinner!

I recently ate here with a friend. The food was incredibly delicious. The fried vegetable gyoza were very tasty. The edamame were also good, but a little too soft for my taste. We had ramen twice for main courses and were both very satisfied. We also mostly enjoyed the moji for dessert. The next day, however, I unfortunately discovered that the amount I paid had been debited from my account twice. After consulting with them, I received my money back very quickly.

For me, Hikoo is clearly the best place for ramen in Mannheim. The quality of the ingredients, the taste, and the atmosphere are all just right. My absolute favorite ramen is the Karadama Tofu Veggie, but be careful: it's spicy! 🌶️ If you love spicy food, you'll love this bowl. The broth is intense, full-flavored, and perfectly balanced. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Other ramen on the menu are also great, but for spicy lovers, Karadama is a must. A clear recommendation!
