The perfect soup spot! I've been there several times during my lunch break and this time for dinner. My friend was for the first time and thought it was more than good. Service is super sweet and you immediately feel taken care of. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The menu was very elaborate and I liked that one could choose the kind of broth one wants. Food was delivered in no time and it was super tasty. Staff was friendly. Its a must visit if you are a fan of Ramen,if not the Gyoza is your pick. Super satisfied!

Best frames in Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg!!!! The starters are super delicious and the desserts are excellent, I recommend the cheese frame and for dessert the taiyaki (fish-shaped pancakes with sweet black bean flavor). The employees are also extremely friendly. I am very happy every time I can visit this restaurant. Keep it up! ♥️

The restaurant was very busy. We were warmly greeted with a beaming smile and after a short wait we were allocated a table for two, even without a reservation. There are noodle and rice dishes. The prices and portions are reasonable. Quality is 1a. The meat is tender and aromatic. The M2 ramen with beef couldn't be beaten in terms of taste. It tasted healthy, very tasty and full-bodied. The elaborate preparation of the long steeping and cooking can be clearly tasted and is a pleasure. The meal was rounded off with a sort of warm match dessert comparable to pancakes very soft and warm filled with red bean paste. Highly recommended. The waitresses are authentic, also speak English and radiate a warmth that you rarely see...the ambience makes you feel right at home. We wish the restaurant continued customers and that the food continues to put a smile on the faces of other guests. We left the restaurant energized without feeling heavy and happy and satisfied and can highly recommend it

A great restaurant! The ramen was extremely tasty and aromatic!! I had the “M2” from the menu as well as the yuzu soda and for dessert the dorayaki with cream! So delicious!! I can only recommend it! Worth the money for the price and the staff are very competent and friendly! We'll be back!

A reservation is definitely important! We were lucky and got a table straight away. It was a busy Saturday and not without reason. The food is incredibly tasty and the portions are large, for €15 and some left over it's more than good value! The service is also great, and the atmosphere even more so! The decoration and music are great, you immediately feel at home ^^

Best Ramen in Mannheim! Authentic. My favourite is the basic pork bone based soup with Char Siew! That's the 'basic' of all Ramen and is the best! Love the fancy Japanese pop drinks. Just like been a short trip to Japan! Everything is so cute, clean and the service is friendly and fast! Looking forward to the next bowl of Ramen!

Super tasty and, above all, authentic Japanese cuisine that you can often only find in Japan. There is a large selection of ramen and smaller dishes, all of which are delicious. I also really enjoyed the katsu curry. The homemade drinks are very tasty and refreshing. We were served quickly and friendly and it is comfortably furnished. We'll definitely be happy to come back and we're happy to take the hour-plus drive to do so.

Favorite Ramen Shop! I've eaten here for the 5th time now and I can confirm that everything in this shop is just right :) Always friendly service and everything tastes great, whether karaage, black garlic ramen or ebi tempura. My personal favorite is the Black Garlic Ramen with karaage instead of pork belly😋

It was a really nice experience! Place discovered thanks to Google, passing through Mannheim. The atmosphere is Japanese, the ramen is good, faithful to what I expected. The staff is very kind and attentive to making you have an experience. I really liked the layout of the tables and the possibility of sharing them with other people. I loved the logo, unfortunately I wasn't able to have a small memory of the place, but only a photo.

Very good Ramen Option in Mannheim! Broth is fresh and homemade! Noodles were cooked a bit too soft, Karage was a bit on the greasy side. Apart from that it was a great experience.

I always love to eat at Hikoo when I have a train change, it's less than 10 mins away from the Hauptbahnhof making it a really nice destination for a lunch break. I have only tried the soups and I can say that are one of the best ramen soups I had in whole Germany. The restaurant itself is cozy with really nice vibes, as well as the service. If you are ever in Mannheim and you like ramen, I would say it's a must.

Come in and feel good! It's really cozy and yet uniquely furnished here. It's clean too. The service is nice. I had the M8 Veggie Miso Ramen. I think there should have been a lot more vegetables. The taste wasn't 100% my thing, but that could well be because it was an authentic Japanese taste and I'm not used to it. I can not judge over this.

We've eaten here twice now and both times the food was extremely good. Both the ramen and the curries are very tasty and almost as good as in Japan. The service is also very fast and friendly.

A really cute little shop. Very good gyoza with a great, slightly sour seasoning sauce, first-class miso ramen that is far better than any other vegetarian ramen I have ever eaten in Mannheim and the surrounding area. Plus a great "Japanese noodle kitchen" vibe and an incredibly lovely and attentive woman in service. A little on the more expensive side but more than worth the money!

Very good restaurant, and the best ramen in Mannheim! The products are quality, everything is well cooked and the service is impeccable. Prices are around €15 for a ramen, there are also rice dishes, with several vegan/vegetarian options. When the weather is nice, there is also the possibility of eating outside. I had a Teriyaki Chicken Ramen (C14) with Tan Tan here. It was very tasty, even in summer temperatures. The service was friendly and quick. We'd love to come back.

After my first visit to Hikoo Noodle Kitchen, we were extremely impressed! The Sapporo beer tasted cool and refreshing, while the Abi curry was fantastically tasty. The employees were very competent and friendly. The ambience also seemed very relaxing and welcoming.

The two of us were there on Monday. Service was super nice. Good selection of dishes. We were interested in the ramen and chose 2 different ones. We both loved it and would be happy to come back to eat our way through the menu.

There is no better ramen restaurant in the area! And you have to try the chicken teriyaki rice bowl too! I've already tried a few ramen in Frankfurt, but nowhere as delicious and authentic as in Mannheim 🤤 I only discovered this shop last year and have been there 20 times or so. If I didn't have to drive so far, I would go there every weekend or every other weekend

Since it's Japanese cuisine, I thought we'd get as good service as in Japan. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. Since there were four of us, we also ordered 4 ramen. The orders were mixed up. We got a ramen with different meat (instead of duck, chicken in teriyaki sauce). I ordered Tan Tan Men Ramen with actually red broth, but first got a completely different ramen with a normal, non-spicy broth. If orders are already taken via tablet, it has to be better and easier somehow. But 2 ramen out of 4 were mixed up. Then when I finally got my ramen, I realized that we only had 2 forks and 2 large spoons for every 4 people at the table. I then asked for a fork and was given 2 forks, one of which was very dirty. Luckily others were clean. When I tried the ramen, I was totally disappointed. I specifically asked the waiter what was so special about the ramen. He said they cook the broth for this ramen for 10 hours. Yes, if the broth is cooked for 10 hours, it has to taste like something. And yes, it tasted like water! Just for water. Not spicy at all, even though it was red broth that was described as spicy. I then gave the ramen to the other person at my table and she said the same thing - the ramen tastes like nothing. In the end I told the waiter all this and he said that next time I should say "very spicy" so that the broth tastes like something. By the way, the noodles and chicken in the ramen didn't taste good either. Yes, and do I want to come here next time? Of course not! P.S: I also ordered mochi ice cream with macha, that was the only thing that saved the meal. But if it's a café with Japanese cuisine, especially ramen, ramen has to taste first.

It's simply a taste explosion every time (eaten here over 15 times). The best and highest quality ramen shop in all of Mannheim and I would even proudly say all of Baden-Württemberg!! If you're unsure about eating here, unfortunately I can't help you other than to tell you that you're just missing out on a great and incredibly delicious experience. If I could I would give it 6 stars because it is consistently a super satisfying experience every time!

I can only completely agree with the many positive reviews. The food was very tasty and of top quality. The prices are fair and the service was super friendly. I would actually recommend making a reservation. It was packed right when it opened. However, it still went relatively quickly. The ambience is simple, rustic, modern. But the food is the focus. What I don't like because of the feel are the transparent menu covers. It may be convenient, but it always feels kind of gross. But it's a personal problem.

Good ramen, although I have to say the broth could be stronger compared to what I've eaten in Japan. (However, there are regional differences) The noodles are also a little firmer to the bite, but this has the advantage that they don't become soft too quickly. The toppings are good and the portions are quite large. Good selection of variations, including starters and side dishes. It is also positive that you can choose the broth according to your taste. Staff was friendly and service was quick. However, it wasn't too crowded on a Tuesday at lunchtime.

Cool noodle snack. Super delicious bowls with everything in them and surprising ingredients. Very quick and friendly service. Despite rush hour and no reservation, we got a seat straight away and were served quickly. The manga decoration is just great.

Great food with super fast service. Unfortunately, ramen is not gluten-free because it uses regular noodles. But for people without celiac disease who avoid gluten, there is also a sufficient selection of rice dishes. Very, very tasty and would love to come back.

A small, very nice Japanese restaurant. There are many different ramen, curry dishes and a good selection of Japanese drinks here. The gyoza and soy sauce starters were fantastic. The ramen was well filled. The miso soup was very tasty and the meat and egg were super soft and tasty. Worth a visit

Tasty but very loud in the restaurant

Very good restaurant where you can enjoy ramen (vegetarian or with meat). There is a large selection of different types of ramen and many options to customize them as desired (e.g. extra noodles, more meat, added wonton, etc.). Everything is great, but you should definitely call or make a reservation if you are with several people comes. It's easy to find a place at the collection table on your own (you'll be asked if it's ok). The only negative point is that there is hardly any parking as the restaurant is in a residential area and there is a lot of signposted parking for residents. The remaining parking spaces are with parking permits. You can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Restaurant with really great food! I love Tantanmen and was extremely satisfied here. The drinks were also delicious. We were lucky to get a seat on Thursday evening without a reservation. It was quite loud in the restaurant, which made conversations a bit tiring.

I come to Hikoo ramen with my partner or friends often, in fact it’s where we eat out the most. The best ramen I’ve ever had! The staff are all amazing <3 and I appreciate the restaurant so much. I get the veggie tempura ramen and it’s consistently excellent.

Hikoo is the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. Every broth of theirs I've tried has been outstanding, and the fried chicken is incredibly juicy and flavorful. The service is quick speedy so this is an excellent place for a quick lunch, or more of a slower paced meal with friends or family.

Super tasty and super nice. A secret that is no longer a secret, so you should definitely make a reservation. One point deducted. Because we had a table right next to another and had to sit shoulder to shoulder. That bothered me personally.

We went there for the first time today with friends because it was recommended to us. We had specially reserved a table so that we could be sure of getting a seat. Once there, we were surprised that we only had about 90 minutes before we had to leave, as the table was reserved again immediately afterwards. If someone had said that on the phone, we wouldn't have come because we like to go out for a nice meal and spend time together. To eat: Unfortunately, gyoza is the typical frozen product that you can get in every Asian supermarket. Of course they're delicious, but I don't have to go to a restaurant to get them. I expect a typical Japanese restaurant to make something like this in-house. This should definitely be reconsidered. The prawns are tasty and extremely crispy, but for the price there could have been more than 3 pieces. The ramen looked great and was really tasty, and the teriyaki chicken with rice also tasted great. But the prices of the dishes are disproportionate. The teriyaki chicken consisted of 5-6 pieces of chicken, a manageable portion of rice and a little freshly chopped white cabbage. In my opinion, around €15 is too expensive for that. In the picture it definitely looked better and, above all, a lot more. But OK, if the food is really good, you can ignore the price, but what really bothered us was that someone kept coming to our table. We had barely eaten our starters when someone stood there and cleared the table on our side while our friends were still eating. It was the same with the main course. You've barely got the last spoonful in your mouth before the table is cleared away. You couldn't really enjoy it because you felt like you had to constantly hurry. We were also asked if we would like something more to drink, but here too we had the feeling that we were under time pressure. It was a real shame because we were really looking forward to the evening and the food was really good. Unfortunately, everything else didn't work for us. I hope we learn from this and change this mass processing.
