Top location for our wedding! Can only be recommended, we had a really nice evening with our guests.

We went to fondue with the family. The service and food were excellent. We were completely satisfied. Many thanks also to our waiter Jonas for the great service and advice.

We had a wonderful evening. Definitely a rarity in Germany. Starting with a torchlight climb under the moonlight with a beautiful view of the illuminated city. When we reached the top we were welcomed with hot drinks and a campfire. The fireplace room enchants with its wintry furnishings and we briefly had the feeling that we had been beamed to Lapland. The food was excellent and of good quality; The price/performance ratio is right here. We were served by Kim, who was very friendly, attentive and professional towards us. We felt comfortable, it was a successful evening. We'll definitely be back. A small minus point for the women's toilet, as the paper container overflowed, a flush didn't work properly, there was no warm water and it was quite cool there.

Had a vegan carrot coconut soup. Was extremely disgusting. Overly salty, extremely sweet and quite boring. At first it was beautifully decorated but you couldn't eat it 0/10 points. The vegan main course looked good. With the first spoonful I noticed that it tasted almost exactly like the soup. It was a curry with coconut, peppers and carrots with two chickpeas. Very salty, very sweet, spicy (which was good) but no taste. The rice that came with it was probably cooked like noodles; it was so mushy that you could easily press it into a paste with a spoon. Couldn't eat 0/10. I'll cook something better in 10 minutes. Why don't you make lentils and potatoes vegan instead of something the chef can't even begin to do? I'll never go there again. Then I remember the Cola was also a disaster, barely carbonated and tasted like it was somehow a syrup or no-name product. The punch was also absolutely not ok, apple juice with ginger? Really now? Edit to the owner's answer: This is what it looked like after all it came from the buffet, but you can no longer see the decoration of the soup, which I also rated positively. Maybe you should work on the quality of your food instead of calling my constructive criticism destructive. All of my points were not addressed.

We went on our company outing this year to the Heuchelberger Warte. It was a wonderful evening with a great atmosphere and a lot of fun dancing, having a pollonaise and having good conversations. The innkeepers played a very large part in this. The food was also really excellent. We will go there privately again. But then in summer, there is also a beautiful beer garden here.

Our waiter Iraj was very nice and accommodating. The whole evening was beautiful and romantic. Highly recommended.

We spontaneously went to eat upstairs at the waiting room. The ambience is great and the food is also very tasty. Only recommended!

We were here twice. The first time we were thrilled. Very friendly, pleasant service, delicious food, just an all-round successful evening. This also led us to visit the restaurant again. The second time we were disappointed. We were assigned a place. This is also where we sat down. After a wait of 10 minutes, we received the cards and were asked directly about drinks, but we hadn't decided yet. After a short time we were asked to change tables because there were only 2 of us (table of 6). We agreed to this, but then found the place in the middle of the room very disadvantageous. We expressed this, which is why we started rearranging tables and chairs when the room was almost completely occupied. During this time we haven't ordered any drinks/food and haven't been asked again. We found this period of time unpleasant. Then they said we could stay at the table. In the meantime there was a small discussion between the waitresses. The chairs/tables were put back. After half an hour we were finally able to order a drink and an appetizer, which were delivered quite quickly. We opted for the same starter as on the first visit, which unfortunately was not at the same high level in terms of appearance and taste as the previous visit (see picture). During the starter we were asked about the main course and ordered. Immediately afterwards they wanted to serve us the wrong main courses. (It wouldn't have been possible to pass on the order, prepare it and deliver it = 1 minute). After about 10 minutes, the right main course arrived. During the main course we were asked if we were x y (name). We denied this and said our name. After that the service went away again. What also surprised us was that you can specify your date of birth when making an online reservation. We also did this because it was my companion's birthday that day (hoping it will be taken into account with a little gift). Unfortunately it was not taken into account. Why else would you ask for a date of birth? The rest went smoothly and the waitresses were mostly helpful. The ambience of the location is nice and of course the view is excellent. Since the restaurant and the entire area are characterized as an event location, we were disappointed on the second visit that the organization and processes did not work. Internal communication would be helpful and would also offer the guest a nicer experience. When we went out and later while staying in the outdoor area, we were not greeted or treated hospitably by three male waitresses/service staff. These three service workers each had two things in common. We're not sure if we'll be back yet.

Location & ambience: The rooms were stylishly designed, with a mix of elegance and winter charm. The beautiful pavilion was particularly impressive. It was decorated with fairy lights, the interior was beautifully decorated and it was cozy and warm. Food & Drinks: The catering was first class! There was a delicious selection of food, from savory dishes to sweet desserts. We were also thrilled by the welcome outside the hut with punch and mulled wine. Service: The staff was very friendly, attentive and looked after us excellently throughout the evening. All special requests were met without any problems and the organization was smooth from the start. We can only warmly recommend the Heuchelberger Warte – it was an all-round successful event that exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to Pia for the great cooperation regarding the organization. We celebrated our wedding in the Panorama Pavillion at the end of October and we wanted to take this opportunity to thank the Heuchelberger Warte team again. They looked after us very well in advance and were always friendly and helpful with tips, ideas and advice. At our wedding reception we got another picture of how organized and committed all the employees are to their jobs. All agreements made were adhered to and our expectations were exceeded. We also liked the fact that we were greeted at the beginning by Iraj, who looked after us almost the whole evening and took great care of our wishes or those of our guests. At this point, a big thank you again to all the employees who contributed beforehand, during the celebration or afterwards in the background to ensure that we will never forget this day. So if you are looking for a beautiful location, a good ambience, warm and professional service as well as a perfect place for a (wedding) celebration, we can only recommend the Heuchelberger Warte.

A super nice fondue experience We had a fantastic evening in a really cozy atmosphere. The fondue was excellent – ​​the quality of the ingredients and the taste were simply top! We were particularly impressed by the delicious broths and the wonderfully coordinated desserts, which rounded off the menu perfectly. Another highlight was the white mulled wine and the punch - both incredibly aromatic and ideal for getting into the winter mood. A big compliment also goes to waiter Ivan, who was not only extremely charming but also extremely attentive. He made the evening perfect with his great service. We will definitely be back and can recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a cozy evening with excellent food. Unfortunately, the shuttle service didn't convince us. The organizer could have coordinated the high number of guests better in terms of timing.

Not what it used to be for a long time. It used to be nice with good food and good ideas, but now it's overloaded and not as nice as it used to be.

No question, the best beer garden there has ever been... What a view and everything is covered from A to Z, nothing is missing. In my opinion, maximum professionalism is achieved here for such a large-scale restaurant. The operator and service are very courteous and helpful. Stick bread, punch, snacks, à la carte and even a small but authentic café bar are available. We recently made a reservation for a fondue evening for a special occasion, which was a real culinary delight... something that is very difficult to find in this region. We got married on Heuchelberg, and since then this place has been our favorite destination in the south as a family. Always my pleasure!!!

Great place to stop and have a snack

We booked the fondue evening in the cozy lounge for two and are absolutely thrilled. You are greeted with mulled wine and then taken to a small “tree house” where you spend the rest of the evening. The fondue was very rich with various meat, vegetables and dip options. At the end there was a large dessert platter. For the price you get a lot, both in terms of taste and quantity. A particularly big compliment and thanks also goes to Jonas, who looked after us the entire evening with his very friendly and accommodating manner! We will definitely come back!

I was there for the first time. I was very enchanted by this amazing place. I can't say anything about the food, except that there is café & cake, stick bread over the campfire and the menu sounds very tasty 🤗 But I will definitely go there more often, just because of the great view 🤩 Also a great place for children with play opportunities.

Great atmosphere and really great what the team achieves. Maybe the prices are justified for the ambience/location/amount of staff, but we still found it very expensive. A “mountain” of fries according to the menu - what came felt like a handful of fries for €5.90. A quarter of “normal” wine starts at around €8. And all of this in the self-service beer garden. However, the ambience and the friendliness of the staff mean that the stay is still pleasant.

Heute waren wir wieder auf der Warte zum Essen. Die halbe Ente war genauso lecker wie die Gänsebrust. Wir jedes Jahr ein echtes Highlight. Wir freuen uns jedes Jahr auf die Sonderkarte im November.

We were here during the week and there wasn't much going on. (We still had to wait until we could place our order, just like when we paid.) The location and ambience are magical. The food is really well executed. Food itself was ok. (I was a little disappointed, I was hoping for more because I've already eaten much better. We ate the mountain schnitzel and the roast beef.) The view is simply unique and wonderfully beautiful, it is definitely worth going up or using the shuttle car.

We didn't like the food, the vegetables were still raw and we complained about it. We were not offered a replacement and we had to pay the full price. What a shame! On the positive side, the facility looks really nice.

Had our winter celebration (for the first time) on the Heuchelberg on February 17th, 2023. Outside, everything was wonderfully and tastefully decorated for winter with beautiful lights, campfires, standing desks and warm furs with seating around the campfire. Very very nice. Our winter celebration was in the inner area of ​​the main building. Everything inside is beautifully decorated for winter. In the middle is the warming fireplace. Food was also very, very good. There was something for everyone. The boss welcomed us nicely, the waitresses were very nice and fulfilled our every wish. We were even allowed to bring our own music and dance. A very fun and successful evening. Like all companies, we haven't had a winter party for two years.

The beer garden is really very nice, unfortunately the furniture is a bit run down and everything is a bit disorganized. The view is great, definitely worth it. The food is really expensive, but delicious, but you still think twice about eating or drinking there.

Super nice place to have a relaxed meal. A bit expensive for a beer garden, but it is also a rather upscale beer garden with a great ambience. Great Sunday spent here in late summer.

The oasis in the service desert of Germany! Everything is really right here. The online reservation 2 days before our visit worked great. We were there on Sunday with 6 people + dog and took advantage of the great shuttle service for €1 per person because we had older people with us for whom the climb would have been too difficult. We were then greeted at the table with a friendly warmth, which was noticeable throughout our entire stay. Rarely have we been served so professionally in a restaurant, even though both the restaurant and the terrace were well attended. The service was very quick, the drinks and food didn't take long to arrive and the quality was beyond any doubt. I can highly recommend the Swabian Sauerbraten! You'll be happy to come back here. You really feel welcome and you also have a great view of the surrounding area. If the weather is right... perfect!

Our son and his wife chose this location for their outdoor wedding. Everything was just perfectly organized. The staff was super friendly, the selected food from the starters, the main course and the desserts all tasted great. The ambience was very nice. Parking is available further down. A shuttle service is offered from there. If you want, you can take a short walk through the vineyards up to the control room. It was a great time for us. Thanks to the whole team.

Very good food, very friendly and courteous service, the atmosphere outside is more like a beer garden with an absolutely wonderful view. You should be careful with the tables outside, as they are quite old and they splinter in certain places. We had small children with us, so of course that's nothing. I would now place prices in the upper midfield. You have to park far below the waiting area in a designated parking space and can then either walk up or call a bus that will take you directly to the door. Starting up now costs €1. Shutting down is free.

Wir haben heute Abend eine Pagode mit der Familie für uns gemietet und haben dann gleich die Schönste mit herrlichem Blick ins Tal bekommen. Der uns für den ganzen Abend persönlich zugeteilte Kellner Jonas hat uns freundlich mit einem Begrüßungs-Cocktail empfangen und in der Pagode perfekt und mit einem unglaublichen Wissen über alle Produkte und Weine in den Abend eingewiesen. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend mit unfassbar guten Produkten und Weinen. Hervorzuheben sind die leckeren King Prawns und die Rinder Medaillons zum selbst grillen, die tollen Saucen angefangen von der Trüffel-Mayonnaise bis hin zur über mehrere Tage zubereiteten BBQ-Sauce, sowie alle Salate mit dem hausgemachten Dressing... es war einfach göttlich. Zum Nachtisch gab es Erdbeer-Sorbet, Vanilleeis, selbstgemachten veganen Schokokuchen, Kokos-Panacotta mit Mango und Vanille-Panacotta mit Erdbeerfruchtspiegel, dazu frischen Obstsalat. Begleitet wurde das Ganze mit einem unglaublich guten Chardonnay vom Weingut Hirsch und einem Lemberger mit Merlot von Rolf Willy. Alles war schon wirklich super, aber erst unser Kellner Jonas hat den Abend perfekt gemacht. Man merkt, dass er liebt was er tut.. mit unglaublich viel Wissen über die Produkte und unfassbar viel Charme. Jonas, dir gebührt ein Sonderlob... vielen Dank an Dich und das gesamte Team um die Familie Wieland... Natürlich nicht zuletzt auch an den netten Shuttle-Fahrer, der uns sowohl am Parkplatz abgeholt sowie des Nachts wieder zurückgefahren hat. Von uns gibt's eine glatte 1 mit Sternchen... Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
