Herzogs Restaurant in Lohsa

We ended up there for dinner by chance. It was fantastic, by far the best restaurant of our vacation in the Spreewald. It's worth the trip from Lübbenau! There's no comparison to the tourist fare there! Deep-fried schnitzel, fresh chanterelles from a jar in flour mush, etc. So, if you want good food, you'll unfortunately have to drive a bit.

Summer party at *Herzog's Restaurant* A lovely evening, the buffet food was absolutely delicious. Friendly table companions and a wide selection of unusual drinks, with sea buckthorn, lavender, and basil – summery freshness. The service was attentive and prompt, as always. It's wonderful that such elaborately prepared evenings exist in our region. The restaurant has become a real gem. We'd love to come back.

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was also very friendly, attentive, and courteous. From the first impression to the last bite, we felt completely at home. If we're ever in this region again, we'll definitely be happy to return.

Very courteous and friendly staff, we received a very appreciative welcome. Our dog was immediately given a bowl of water and even ice cubes in the intense heat. The products used are high-quality and regional. Very good, upscale cuisine in a beautiful location. The friendliness of the staff was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

We were at Herzogs for lunch on a Saturday, and even though it was very busy, everything went very quickly. The food was incredibly delicious—we were all thrilled with the taste, and it was also beautifully presented. Kudos to the kitchen! There's also something for vegetarians and vegans. The service was also excellent. We'd be happy to come back anytime.

We were absolutely thrilled with Herzogs! Even though it was relatively busy, everything went very quickly. The service was super friendly, and the food was fantastic. I've never eaten so well in the area (no joke). The value for money is excellent, and the portions are really filling. We recommend every dish we had; the falafel, the chard dumplings, and the beef cheeks were all divine. We'll definitely be back! Don't forget to make a reservation, though.

Great location. We had a reservation, as you should. A warm welcome. We were able to choose where we wanted to sit, and given the temperatures, the air-conditioned room was very pleasant. The staff was very attentive, and a special mention goes to the manager, who responded immediately to special requests. Some guests aren't easy to please, but here, everything is done to make them happy.

If you want to eat delicious food and be served very nicely, then you are in good hands here👍

We had dinner here today. We received a friendly welcome and good service. The food was delicious, and the outdoor ambiance was pleasant. The interior and restroom facilities are also excellent. We would definitely come back here again; I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a delicious meal at Herzogs on Sunday. Despite three reschedulings and changes in the number of guests, we were served very politely. No problem at all. A great selection of dishes, including a changing seasonal menu, served quickly, deliciously, and in generous portions. Our young waitress, possibly still in training, was attentive, courteous, very kind, and professional in her job. Thank you for the wonderful evening in a beautiful setting.

We give this restaurant 5 stars. A 6th star for the service. Polite and charmingly witty, just as it should be. The high-quality ambiance is modern and clean, making you feel at home. We had the spiced meat appetizer, which can only be described as delicious and perfect. After that, we had zander fillet, Laz'er schnitzel, and schnitzel con carne, all three perfect. Everything was lovingly prepared and delicious, as was the accompanying salad. Kudos to the kitchen staff. The wine with the meal doesn't come from a discount store, but from a winery on the Moselle; it's very good and tasty. All in all, we had an all-around perfect dinner. Dear Herzog's team, keep up the good work. We'll recommend you and will be back soon. We were there recently with a larger group. As always, everything was perfect.

Yesterday evening we were invited to dinner with 15 people and I was pleased to see what a wonderful restaurant culture there is in rural areas... that's why full stars in all categories... it was the first time we were here, but by no means the last... The food was very tasty and absolutely okay for the price. We were there for dinner for a Christmas party and I didn't know the restaurant before. There is little choice but the quality and service is simply great. I will definitely go again privately with my family.

The side dish with the meal is more of a pensioner's portion, at most a handful of fries which didn't really taste good either, on the one hand wide fries which I don't really like and they weren't really seasoned or salted either. The selection of dishes wasn't particularly large, 5-6 different dishes is quite meager, the rest was okay! The ambience isn't really my thing either, extremely bright and you feel like you're sitting in a large conference room or something similar.

Top, very good food, top service. We'll be back.

Great atmosphere with a very friendly service team (the girls are great). The food was excellent. Regional and seasonal offer. You can taste the love for cooking and the freshness of the processed foods. Accordingly, the prices are higher but absolutely justified. And to be honest, if I want cheap, uncomfortable and quick, then I go to the kebab around the corner (I mean the kebab from Lohsa :-P) Go and see for yourself. I can only recommend it!!! ♡

Yesterday we were at Herzogs with around 85 people to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our high school graduation. It was impressive how professionally the tables were set up, there were 5 meals to choose from on a menu and everyone could pay individually. The food tasted great, the service was careful, friendly and quick and we felt comfortable and satisfied. A big thank you to all employees for this successful evening. Anyone who didn't know this restaurant before will definitely recommend it and we locals will be happy to come back soon.

Very nice restaurant, which was well signposted despite the road closure in Lohsa. Great atmosphere in a harmonious atmosphere, which is also due to the particularly friendly and courteous staff. The food is really great. The quality is even top class, for the quantity, which is very generous, at a fair price. On the whole, a recommendable and very, very good restaurant, which in my opinion is certainly suitable for family celebrations. Space is available.

Were lured to “Herzogs” by a voucher gift. Welcoming atmosphere, clean and tidy. Nice, friendly and competent staff who work really quickly. The food is tasty and well prepared, the price and performance are right. The only point of criticism is that due to the size of the rooms there are so many tables and therefore guests in one room. This is very reminiscent of mass catering in a holiday hotel and is in contrast to the otherwise outstanding impression of the restaurant. We will definitely go back and make recommendations, especially for family celebrations.

As far as I can judge from my own experience, the cuisine is much finer than the country inns in the area (personal opinion). This is also reflected in the prices corresponding to the service. Recommended end to the menu: the delicious ice cream sundaes from the “farm supplier”. The service ladies were friendly, cheerful and funny (!) even after a long shift. If the sparkling clean sanitary area allows conclusions to be drawn about the cleanliness of the kitchen, then you can confidently assume the highest hygiene standards. Nice detail: individually wrapped toothpicks near the hand basins. You can tell that professionals work here. We'll definitely be back!

I was in a restaurant with my brother during our cycling trip, there was no one in the restaurant at 4 in the afternoon, which was probably due to the road closure near the restaurant. The ordered linguine with mushrooms from the daily menu and wiener schnitzel were brought to us within five minutes of ordering. The food was really delicious and there was a large portion. The nice and smiling waitress communicated with us in English, which was a big plus. After paying, she wished us a nice rest of the day. They also take card payments. We totally recommend it!
