Very tasty food, but beer price a bit too expensive

We ate the highly recommended Herterich Burger and were extremely disappointed 😞. The homemade bun quickly became soggy from the contents, making it difficult to eat. The Viennese-style schnitzel was also disappointing in terms of taste. While it was cooked well and light brown, the delicious "straw-fed pork" had a strange flavor, and the breading was sticky. I regret this criticism, but after receiving such high praise, I, or rather we, were very disappointed.

We visited this friendly, rustic restaurant again this afternoon (from 3:15 p.m.). As soon as you enter the dining room, you can see that hard-working restaurateurs are at work here. The cleanliness is striking and invites you to linger. We always feel immediately welcome and very comfortable. The food, no matter what we order (schnitzel, roast pork, burger, roast beef with onions, chicken, or salmon), is excellent and highly recommended. The mixed side salad tastes so fresh and is very well dressed. The always freshly prepared apple fritters for dessert are so delicious...yum... The restaurant also offers a weekly menu with changing daily specials. TOP! The beer (Hofbräuhaus Traunstein) is nice and cold and drinkable. But a refreshing wine spritzer can also be enjoyed well chilled here. The friendly and very attentive service is definitely worth mentioning. The food and service are simply impressively good, and the host family is consistently lovely. The ambiance is pleasantly rustic and exudes warmth and coziness. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back!

The delicious burgers, which are served extremely friendly and quickly, are highly recommended. All other dishes are also cheap, nutritious and wholesome.

Nice and friendly service Varied menu I had the pork schnitzel with fries and it was delicious. There was also a very tasty side salad.

The Kässpatzn were only lukewarm, nothing special in terms of taste for just under 12 euros.

The food here is actually good. Unfortunately the whole thing is a bit pricey. The portions are rather manageable. In my opinion, too much money is being asked for this.

The soup and the pork schnitzel were very tasty. The Swiss sausage salad didn't deserve the name in my opinion. Otherwise a place that I can recommend. Good service.

Wonderful restaurant. Even though it is next to the sports field, it is no longer a clubhouse. The family business is clearly making an effort to leave this connection behind. If you come regularly, you will see a lot of regular guests. That speaks for itself. When it comes to price-performance ratio, the Herterich-Stuben beat the competition by a world. If you know the chef's history, you won't be surprised about the excellent fish dishes. The mussel sauce is unbeatable.

She was very disappointed. We still really enjoyed eating here. Unfortunately it was bad today. The schnitzel was unseasoned, tasteless, thin, with a lot of breading falling off the meat. French fries without salt. The second dish, schaineslende, was chewy and difficult to eat, but the sauce was good. Aperol was also very diluted. When told that the food was tasteless, the staff did not respond in a friendly manner. We paid the full amount even though the food wasn't even half eaten. Outrageous. I highly recommend this place. It is much better to eat at the intersection at the traffic lights a few hundred meters away. As I said, the whole thing was very disappointing.

The food was very good and it came very quickly. The beer was also extremely tasty!

Prices for a clubhouse are clearly too high! The sausage salad was very “clear”, with little white bread. However, this was delivered later on request. Too small a portion and too high a price!

Last night we were in the HerterichStuben again. You always think, what's the use of a club restaurant? But we can say, super nice service staff. Cool drinks, very good food and a small, quiet beer garden. We like to come back often.

Sportgaststätte mit dem besten Veggieburger den ich je in einem Restaurant gegessen habe. Gerne wieder. Und die mit Fleisch sollen auch sehr gut gewesen sein. Tolle Bedienung.

Düster... mein Essen war gut, dass Kinderessen leider nicht alles ist dunkel und nicht einladend gestalltet. Kinder sollten auch zuerst ihr Essen bekommen, da sollte man nichts sagen müssen... leider waren sie die Letzten.... Getränkebestellungen wurfen teilweise auch vergessen... Leider Satz mit X

Das Essen war top und die Location sehr gut! Ideall für Feste oder gut bürgerliche Küche! Personal war zuvorkommend und sehr nett!

Besitzer sehr freundlich. Ambiente sehr überzeugend, vor allem durch den Fußball Verein nebenan. Ich persönlich empfehle sehr strak das Weißbier (süße Note im Nachgeschmack). Im Endeffekt ein schöner Ort wo man gut was mit seinen Freunden trinken kann. 👍

Fantastic Bavarian Food very well cooked, friendly and quick service, suprisingly nice Beer Garden. Unassuming from the outside and it turns out a real gem. Can’t say anything about the inside, it’s a summer day.

Haben hier Kommunion gefeiert, super Essen super Service super Wirtsleute... Super Schweinshaxn.. Viel Parkplatz... War glaub ich, ehemaliges Vereinsheim.. Für Feierlichkeiten total geeignet..

Burger war lecker. Ambiente nur drei Sterne, da es halt am Sportplatz liegt. Andererseits ist es für Kinder gut, da man dort auch nen Spielplatz hat

Ein angenehmes, wenn auch altes, bayerisches Ambiente mit hervorragenden Gerichten und sehr freundlichen Bedienungen. Leicht versteckt im Park, getarnt als Fußballgaststätte. Hat aber Qualität, welche sich so manches Nobelrestaurant nur wünschen kann. Parkplätze sind ausreichend verfügbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir waren schon mehrmals mit der Familie im Biergarten und mit dem DARC im Vereinslokal. U.a. sehr leckere Burger.

Supernetter Service, immer leckeres Essen (ich empfehle den Zwiebelrostbraten 😀) und dass das Ambiente etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, kann man dann so annehmen.

Bräuchte mehr Sterne um die Pommes zu bewerten. War einfach rumdum mega lecker und der Service war on Point.

Unter neuer Leitung, alles neu renoviert, ein wirklich schönes und gemütliches Reataurant und gemütlichen Biergarten, mit bester gutbürgerlichen Küche, mit regionalen Zuraten aus dem Münchner Umland. Nettes und aufmerksames Personal!

Wir hatten eine Feier in den Herterich Stuben, das Essen war sehr gut, Das Schnitzel mit Pommes hervorragend!Nur die Soße vom Schweinebraten war nicht so, wie man es sich vorstellt. Sie war leider sehr dünn (gestreckt)Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Unscheinbar von außen, sehr schön von innen. Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung, auch wenn wir ein paar Mal nachfragen mussten bei der Bestellung. Wir waren angenehm überrascht und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein verdammt guter Kaiserschmarrn. Bis zum nächsten Mal.
