One word would suffice to describe Herbstapfel: Fantastic. I booked catering from the Herbstapfel team for my daughter and her husband's wedding. Even the tasting exceeded our expectations. For the wedding garden party, a magnificent buffet was delivered on time and lovingly prepared with information boards. From buscheta, pesto, chili sin carne, and much more, nothing was missing. The hot buffet was delivered with special teapot warmers for those who got hungry later 😀. Even the "diehard sausage/meat eaters" were completely thrilled and gave the following feedback: "We really didn't miss anything (even the taste). A huge thank you to the entire team at HERBSTAPFEL. You made a significant contribution to my children's beautiful wedding. We will book you again and recommend you with a clear conscience. Of course, 5 🌟, unfortunately, there are no more. We had a delicious meal (Kernkraft and Halloumi Bowl) and it certainly won't be our last visit to this small, quaint restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend it!

We were visiting Kassel and looked at which mobile vouchers were available through the voucher book (Schlemmerblock). That's how we came across Herbstapfel. And it was an absolute hit. - Special atmosphere - Super friendly and competent staff - The food (bowl and burger) tasted fantastic... and the portion sizes were just right Conclusion: couldn't have chosen better... a hit!!!

We tried the restaurant based on a recommendation and ordered for pickup. :) You can tell the ingredients are of good quality and the food is freshly cooked. Contrary to the online information, we unfortunately waited almost an hour instead of 30 minutes for the dishes to be ready. The food itself was quite tasty, but our tofu was burnt and our potatoes were almost burnt. Overall, the dishes in our disposable containers were covered in a layer of oil and fat, and our special request to omit the dip was unfortunately not honored. Overall, though, I recommend it.

The Kernkraft Bowl tasted great and was very filling! And I also like the outdoor area. Seating instead of parking spaces. Unfortunately, I'm not from Kassel, otherwise I would come more often.

The food was delicious—well-seasoned, varied, crispy, and fresh. We each had the large bowls and were very filling. The service was attentive and friendly. Ordering at the table via the QR code was very easy, and the food arrived quickly. Truly top-notch!

I would like to give more stars... We've been to Kassel twice so far, and after the first visit was so good, we ate here again on our second visit. It's a small but fine vegan restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

By chance and by chance! To round off the day, we wanted to go out for some delicious vegan food and stumbled upon Herbstapfel. A great little shop that also delivers its meals. They also consider sustainability and put leftovers in reusable containers. Keep it up, we'll be back 🫶🏻

Wir waren schon mehrfach im Herbstapfel essen und es war jedes Mal sehr gut. Ich habe einige der Burger probiert und die waren jedes Mal eine Wucht. Die Grünkernbratlinge waren gut und ich bin ein großer Fan des Aioli. Meine Begleitung hatte eine Bowl und war auch sehr zufrieden.

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Der Grünkernbratling war der Hit und das Aioli und die vegane Käsesoße waren zum Reinlegen!

Sehr leckeres Essen mit fantasievollen Rezepten, auch die Getränke mit Pfiff! Und superfreundliches Personal. Der Besuch war eine Freude.

The food is convincing in every respect. Even the reusable tableware when ordering is a great + point. Creativity and sophistication is your hallmark. Unusual dishes, homemade lemonades and juices make this feel-good place unique. We love coming back every time and never regret it. As the icing on the cake, they round off their offer with specials. The Autumn Apple is one of my favorite vegan restaurants! The staff is wonderfully friendly and the food tastes very good. There are many vegan, partly vegan and also gluten-free dishes. For people who get cold easily: take something to wear over the top. I find it a bit cold most of the time.

We had dinner here yesterday for the second time while passing through, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The food was not only delicious but also served quickly. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dishes were clearly prepared with care. What makes this place even more special is the hospitality. The staff took the time to give us recommendations on places to visit, which we really appreciated. Very dog-friendly. All in all, a must-visit for anyone who loves great vegan food! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area again.

Ordered food home and was disappointed. The prices are disproportionate to the portions (photo of the €8.20 dessert) and the quality wasn't at the top level either. It's possible that you'll get more on offer locally, but I can't recommend ordering.

We arrived and were immediately treated unfriendly by a member of staff. She generally seemed very annoyed and irritated. We ordered using a QR code at the table. After 20 minutes we noticed that it didn't work. Another employee then took our order. We waited for 40 minutes and got nothing except drinks. After 65 minutes of being there, we stopped or canceled the meal. The employee said that our food was ready at exactly that moment and then listed something that wasn't ours. I corrected him, which really embarrassed him. His excuse was now suddenly illness and we should give them a second chance. No thanks and never again! The employees generally seemed very overwhelmed with just a few tables.

A small, friendly restaurant. Beautifully designed on the outside, it had a bit of a corner pub feel on the inside. There's nothing bad about that at first. The food was quite good, I also liked the homemade ginger lemonade. What I didn't like was that the burger didn't come with at least a handful of fries. You could actually think about the price. But well, I'm so full too What was absolutely positive was how quickly the food was ready and how well we were served.

The food was really very tasty. The price for a small bowl was very high but the quality was good. What I found to be a shame was that there were only such thin strips of bread for the dips as a starter, even though the quantity looked much larger in the pictures on the menu. But still tastes good. The side dish for the burgers was not visible either, at least not in the price. In general, given the quantity, one expected more, even if it was a small bowl, for example, the question is whether it was fair in terms of price. But as I said, I would like to mention that it tasted great! All in all, I would still come back!

Willkommenes und freundliches Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Liebe Bedienung, eine ausgefallene Karte und breite Getränkeauswahl. Ein Stern wird abgezogen, weil das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bisschen hoch ist. Z. B. ist der Aufpreis für den Burger (beyond meat) mit 3.60 € zu teuer bei der Größe.

I was visiting my sister in Kassel from Leipzig and we went to this wonderful restaurant. I not only really liked the variety in the menu, but especially the delicious food, or to put it better, I liked it. The whole thing was rounded off by the friendliness and service provided by the boss. Vegan heart - what more could you want! We say thank you very much for everything and would love to come back!

Went to Herbstapfel for the first time today and immediately felt very comfortable. Very nice, open, cozy atmosphere, friendly service, very tasty food (chilli cheese bowl and Kraftwerk salad) and homemade spritzer. We'll be back.

It was a dream! So delicious eaten, and completely vegan. When you think of vegan, you often think of grains and raw vegetables. But far from it, we had such delicious burgers, homemade lemonade and spice latte. We could have continued eating forever... Buffet would be fantastic if it existed so you could eat a bit of everything. I would like to feast my way across the map. Very tasty food, great menu. However, the prices have been increased. A large bowl is actually a normal portion; there is still room in your stomach. You should take advantage of the promotional days, otherwise it will be expensive. Points deducted for the ambience. It's very small, which is why you end up smelling like a deep fryer. But because of the size, that's just how it is (kitchen right next door and open).

Ich war zum ersten Mal im "Herbstapfel", nachdem ich schon unzählige Male daran vorbei gefahren bin. Nach dem Essen war klar: ich komme wieder. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam nach angemessener Zeit, nicht zu schnell (das wäre verdächtig), aber auch nicht zu langsam. Die Golden Milk, die Orange-Zimt-Limonade und zum Abschluss der Lupinen-Macchiato, alles drei richtig schmackhaft. Das Essen wird sehr ansprechend angerichtet serviert. In den kleinen Räumen habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Dass es an einem Montag Abend so gut besucht ist, spricht für die Güte, auf die hier offensichtlich Wert gelegt wird. Außerdem wird hier jede*r davon "geheilt", dass vegan mit langweilig gleichzusetzen wäre. 😁😁😁

The menu is so diverse and varied that it's almost a little difficult to decide. My Kernkraft Bowl was simply delicious. You could taste that everything was homemade and everything was seasoned perfectly.
