Gemütliche Atmosphäre und sehr leckeres, frisches Essen. Der Service war äußerst freundlich und es gab tolle vegane und vegetarische Gerichte.

The Herbstapfel is a small restaurant where you can get great vegetarian/vegan food. Admittedly, it is located directly on a somewhat busier street, which makes sitting outside somewhat less attractive, but the food definitely makes up for it. Because no matter what I have ordered here so far, it has always been absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh, everything is perfectly seasoned and harmoniously combined. Even my partner, who loves eating meat and was initially very skeptical, was very enthusiastic about the food. The service staff is also really very nice and attentive. You can't go wrong here if you're looking for delicious food.

Today I was in the autumn apple for the first time - I'm thrilled! Such a loving and well thought-out selection of vegan options, from starters to main courses to dessert and drinks. Simply a dream! 🥰 Plus, everything looks so beautiful, you immediately feel comfortable. The employees are very nice and offer great service. The value for money is great, you can get fantastic food here for reasonable money! 😊 P.s. If you can't decide what you want to eat: the Chili sin Carne is spectacular 🤤 Thank you for your great restaurant, I will come again ❤️

I have enjoyed being a guest at Herbstapfel for years and recently experienced him as a caterer at a wedding reception. The vegan/vegetarian dishes are all very tasty and the varied menu means you can try new things on a regular basis. The atmosphere in and in front of the store is very pleasant, so you enjoy spending time here. Catering included live grilling of burgers and a side dish buffet. The process was excellent and the quality was as usual as well. So clear recommendation!

Well, yes. It was quite nice and you could generally sit quite well. But it's right on a very busy street, which is certainly what you would expect in the middle of the city. But it's pretty nicely done. The service was nice and quick. I had a burger from the extensive selection. There wasn't a lot of love put into the meal, so to speak. Taste OK... nothing more, nothing less. You can't go wrong by stopping there, but there are certainly alternatives that might make you happier. Sorry. Unfortunately I can't answer directly. By "not much love" I mean it seemed very industrial and like convenience food. What could have been done better? In general, perhaps the selection of rolls (of course the team can't help that), the entire combination of all the components, the salad selection, how long prepared foods have been waiting to be eaten and where they are done, the selection of sauces... it all just seemed a little different loveless and bland. I'm actually really frugal and was full. My companion suggested the visit and was a little ashamed of her suggestion. I'm really sorry and don't want to bash anyone. But I don't want to cheat either.

These guys did the catering for our party - food for 50 people. It was all vegan and gluten free. Tasted excellent and looked stunning. I would highly recommend them for your party! We really enjoyed our dishes (curry bowl and halloumi burger), both fresh, well seasoned and with the right amount of sauces. The homemade lemonades were also great. The service was friendly and fast, and there were also tips on places worth seeing in Kassel. Small drawback: the restaurant is on a main street. You can sit outside, but then you have to endure the traffic. Inside you can tell from the furnishings that the place was probably previously a pub, but we still felt comfortable.

Super nice people and super good food. You can tell that the food used is fresh and “high quality”. Quite apart from the regional and sustainable concept of the restaurant (which is extremely worth supporting), a clear recommendation!

Dishes on the main menu are overall rather unspectacular, which made choosing a suitable dish difficult. The bread basket with dips was acceptable. The dips were a bit bland. The Brioche Bun Burger “Classic” met expectations in terms of price and was also satisfactory. The desserts also have room for improvement, but in terms of food they were the best of the 3-course menu. The homemade lemonades are recommended, although a bit expensive. In summary, a solid culinary experience with room for improvement.

Today we had the pleasure of visiting the Herbstapfel for the second time and we can only warmly recommend it. The food is freshly prepared and homemade, which you can taste in every bite. The restaurant exudes a special, albeit simple, elegance. The atmosphere is simply great and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Had ordered a table by email when we arrived we were told that the table would be occupied again, even though everything was free and we only had a small time window... Turning a former small pub into a great vegan restaurant. I'm not a vegan, but I've been there twice with my girlfriend in quick succession and both times the food was really great. The bowl is just as recommended as the burgers. Instead of a green seed patty or haluomi cheese, etc., a burger has a meat patty substitute that tastes just like meat. Next time I would order the tofu burger, which tastes even better. The desserts are also very tasty. Really recommended. The price is a little more expensive, but the products also taste fresh. Booking a table in advance is almost mandatory. And the toilets are really tight.

We were at Herbstapfel for the first time on a Thursday evening and got a table for three people. We had already heard some positive things from friends. None of us are convinced vegans or vegetarians, but one doesn't necessarily exclude the other. The service was very OK, although it filled up quickly after 6:00 p.m. I knew the beer from the hobby horse, it was delicious and I was correspondingly satisfied. The chili-cheeze burger, with green seed patty and a dip + potato wedges, was really juicy, well seasoned, and didn't miss any meat. The two ladies also enjoyed the halloumi bowls, the dessert, baked apple mascarpone magic with vanilla mascarpone, baked apple syrup, raisins & almond slivers and the mousse au chocolate rounded off the evening, although the mousse was small but mighty. Don't forget the wine, OK for us too. A very “tasty” evening, the background noise was a little loud, due to the room, but no reason not to stop by again.

Schöne Auswahl an pflanzlichem Essen und netter Service, allerdings mMn kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Essen schmeckte gut und die Portionen waren angemessen, insgesamt aber durchschnittlich und für die happigen Preise hätte man wirklich mehr erwarten dürfen. Auch dass mit den Heißgetränken kein Zucker gebracht wurde oder man für alles einen Aufpreis zahlen sollte (bei der Frage nach etwas mehr Brot noch nachvollziehbar, aber ein Gericht sollte wegen Magenproblemen der Bestellenden OHNE Gewürze kommen, dafür dann aber 1,50€ MEHR kosten) ist angesichts der Preise, die man zahlt, doch sehr unerfreulich. Insgesamt haben wir dort gut gegessen und uns wohl gefühlt, der Service war auch wirklich nett, aber insgesamt zu teuer bepreist für das, was man bekommt.

We had the food delivered. The taste was good, but there was no difference between the large and small portions (except for the price). Everything came in the same bowls and for 12 euros so little salad really surprised me. In addition, the bread was old and dry. All in all, we wouldn't order there again because we don't like the price/performance ratio.

I'll put it this way, I like eating meat and don't miss it in the least when I have "autumn apple" on my plate. So far everything has tasted great. The selection is great, as is the seasonal offering. The only drawback is that I once had vegan yogurt dressing on a salad, which wasn't to my taste. But it's purely a matter of taste. Keep it up! Eine sehr nette kleine unkomplizierte Kneipe mit wunderbarem vielfältigen veganem Essen. Burger, Bowles Salate diverse Häppchen. Es gibt grosse und kleine Portionen, wobei auch die kleinen Portionen sehr reichlich sind. Die Bedienung äusserst nett und erfüllt auch Spezialwünsche. Sehr unkomplizierte lockere Atmosphäre. Bei unserem Besuch am Donnerstagabend war es gut gefüllt und entsprechend laut. Ein zufälliger Glückstreffer für uns als auswärtige Gäste.

Very small restaurant, almost impossible to get a table without a reservation. But it's worth a reservation. Nice staff, very tasty food AND allergens are labeled. VERY SUITABLE for gluten intolerant and vegan diets. Gluten-free bread also available upon request.

From service to food, this place rates high in all aspects. While they seem to be understaffed, the staff that’s working is super friendly and takes their time with customers. They can answer all the questions about food, portion size etc. The food itself is very tasty! Portions are generous, it’s well seasoned and balanced. The burger was really tasty, as were the fried potatoes, but they could have been crispier. The tortillas weren't my cup of tea, but the dips were really good. The stools don't really invite you to linger for long. The service is very nice, but seemed a bit unstructured that evening. But overall it was a positive surprise for me as a meat lover.

I like to come here again and again because everything is right here: super tasty dishes, very good service and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. However, you should book a seat in advance, as the restaurant is almost always very busy - no wonder, as a visit is definitely worth it. Wir waren das erste mal im Herbstapfel in Kassel und wollten uns durch eine Empfehlung selbst überzeugen von den tollen vegetarischen/veganen Gerichten 😉 Ich hatte den Burger mit Tomatenpesto,Aioli,Salat und Quinoa Patti,dazu Kräuterkartoffeln und Aioli Dip 🤤 War richtig lecker und vor allem frisch da vermisst man kein Fleisch! Die Portion hätte meiner Meinung nach etwas größer sein dürfen aber das soll kein meckern sein 😅 Mein Partner hatte eine Bowl die ihm auch sehr sehr gut geschmeckt hat und richtig davon geschwärmt hat 😉 Zuvor hatte jeder noch eine hausgemachte Limo (ich eine Bratapfel Winter Orange und er eine Ingwer Limo die mega gut geschmeckt haben) Zum Schluss hatte ich noch ein Pistazien Lebkuchen Dessert vom der Winterkarte bestellt,dass locker/fluffig und schön leicht mit fruchtiger Note geschmeckt hat 🤩👍🏻 Kann man auf alle Fälle nur weiterempfehlen,wir waren sehr begeistert 🤗

I have been eating here on a regular basis for several years. In my opinion it is one of the best vegan restaurants in Kassel. Whether by pickup/delivery or on site - the food and service are always perfect! The only thing that results in a minimal point deduction is that after visiting the place you smell a lot of food because the kitchen is right next door. But that cannot be changed by the spatial conditions.

I've never been as excited about a restaurant as I was about this one. The dishes are not only (almost) all completely vegan, but also incredibly delicious. We waited a maximum of 15 minutes for the food and the drinks basically came with the order! You can tell that it's not a wannabe hipster restaurant, but that the people run the place with love! Unfortunately I'm not from Kassel, otherwise I would be an absolute regular there!

In terms of taste, there is no better option than autumn apple. The selection of fresh and diverse products is, in my opinion, the healthiest thing you can get in this city. In addition, the staff is first class. I am always satisfied with every visit.

Wir haben das Essen für unsere Weihnachtsfeier beim Herbstapfel bestellt. Das Essen kam in hochwertigen Mehrwegbehaeltern und war wie frisch aus der Küche. Trotz anfänglicher Skepsis weniger Personen, waren am Ende alle ausnahmslos begeistert. Das Essen war superlecker, dass werden wir zeitnah wiederholen. Vielen Dank

Das Essen war hervorragend- egal welches Gericht, alle waren super. Auch der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist recht klein und die Einrichtung wirkt eher etwas zusammen gewürfelt. Da kann man auf jeden Fall noch viel mehr draus machen.

Stopp auf der Durchreise. Der kleine Umweg hat sich voll gelohnt. Eigentlich müsste man 10 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 vergeben: Chili sin carne, einfach spitze, geschmacklich rund, ebenso wie die Chili Bowl, alles bestens abgeschmeckt, so lecker habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen, bin nur begeistert. Toller und sehr freundlicher Service, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Da kann man nur die beneiden, die hier in der Nähe wohnen. Komme auf der Heimreise sicher wieder vorbei.

Das Essen war so vorzüglich, dass ich als Fleischesser darüber nachdenke, Veganer zu werden. Alles köstlich, Personal flexibel und freundlich, einfach klasse. Leider für uns Oberbayern zu weit entfernt, um Stammgast zu werden. Aber wir kommen sicher wieder, wenn es uns wieder nach Kassel verschlägt!

gutes veggie essen, wir waren zu dritt und haben alle bowls gegessen, die spitze geschmeckt haben - nicht zu fettig, gut gewürzt etc.. Leider hat es im laden nicht gut gerochen, es war nicht so unangenehm das wir gegangen sind, aber es roch so als hätten sie keinen abzug in der küche, schade. außerdem war die chili bowl zwar sehr lecker, aber auf die karte zu schreiben, dass sie mit tortilla chips serviert wird und dann sage und schreibe DREI einzelne chips in die bowl zu tun ist eine frechheit…

Tisch für 4 reserviert. Einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommen, der aus zwei Tischen über Eck am Eingang angeordnet war. Leider sehr lange auf das Essen gewartet, ca. 60 Minuten. Nach 1 Stunde und 50 Minuten wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Tisch weiter reserviert ist und wir quasi gehen müssen. Das Essen war sehr gut, Zu einem Nachtisch ist es nicht mehr gekommen, da abkassiert worden ist. Leider trübten die Begleitumstände den Abend. Eine bessere Orga und eine frühzeitige Information über die Mehrfachbelegung der Tische wären fairer.
