The restaurant was packed on Sunday at lunchtime, which was no surprise. It's the kind of Greek restaurant you remember from back in the day: good quality food with generous portions and authentic flavor at reasonable prices. And they even included the obligatory ouzo. Most of us ordered the special platter, which came with delicious thick-cut fries, rice, gyros, souvlaki, lamb chops, pork tenderloin, a salad, and a piece of chicken breast. Everything was excellent, although I could have done without the chicken breast, which tasted a bit like that cheap, chlorinated chicken from the Netherlands. The ambiance is stylish, and the staff are friendly Greeks, just as you'd expect. It's great that there's a place like this in the area. Highly recommended. I'll be back!

The food was good; the only thing missing was salt and pepper for seasoning. The staff were nice and friendly, but they could have at least asked if we wanted anything else to drink.

As always, the food was super delicious, and so was the service—not too often, but often enough. There was always something to drink, so you didn't have to make yourself known—that's what truly makes for good service. Plates were properly preheated, and our platters stayed hot the entire time. This time we had the Hellas platter for four people, and it had everything you could wish for... truly delicious.

The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly without being pushy. The food was delicious as always; we're regulars and highly recommend it. If you like good food, this is the place for you.

The food was delicious and arrived quickly, and the service was really friendly. Only the chicken nuggets for our little one were bland. She didn't like them very much. In general, the restaurant is incredibly dark. I don't usually like that. I prefer to be able to clearly see what's on my plate.

We ate here for the first time with seven people and were very satisfied. Even without a reservation, getting a table was no problem. The staff was very friendly, and we offered a free ouzo both before and after the meal. Orange juice was served in shot glasses for the children to join in the toast, and they were given candy and small lollipops when paying. Since not everyone was that hungry, we asked if the adults could order a children's plate as well – which was no problem. Overall, everyone enjoyed the meal and it was plentiful. The side salad was served beforehand. Since the gyro didn't come with tzatziki, we ordered another portion – I thought the price of €5.50 was quite high here, but that's normal elsewhere.

We visited the restaurant for the first time and were completely satisfied. It's a beautiful, old building with a cozy atmosphere. We received a warm welcome. The service was very quick and very friendly. The food was served promptly, even though it was very busy. We started with a small, fresh salad. The gyro was well-seasoned and tasty. The chicken in white wine sauce was delicious. And I was very, very happy to have found another Greek restaurant that served warm semolina in dough for dessert. (Galaktoboureko) To die for! *Conclusion: Highly recommended; we'll be happy to come back.

I highly recommend this Greek restaurant; the food is very good and you don't have to wait long for it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. And they offered two ouzos, one before and one after the meal.

Authentic Greek food. As usual, it's meat-heavy and the portions are generous—but it's also truly delicious. The homemade eggplant cream is highly recommended. We sat outside—and it was great, except for the smoking at the next table ;)

Unfortunately, you won't get less than €20 for a meal and a drink here. However, the food is more plentiful than in Ihrhove or Papenburg. This is, in fact, the best Greek restaurant in the region.

I had dinner with you a few days ago. My friend's dish - meat skewer with croquettes - was really very good and he enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my own dish, the chicken breast fillet pan, was disappointing. Although the portion was generous, the meat was very hard to chew and extremely salty. I even had to leave a piece behind because it was barely edible - a real shame. However, what I would like to highlight in a particularly positive way is that the staff was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. This made the visit overall enjoyable despite the disappointing dish.

Every time I'm in Rhauderfehn, I eat at the Hellas Palace. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is top-notch in terms of service, and the food is highly recommended! It has a family atmosphere; I also get an ouzo or two or a Freddy Krueger now and then. I always enjoy coming back to the Hellas Palace!

Today I took giros in metaxasouce again. Great, the visit is worth it just for the sauce.

I had dinner there with a friend today. The service is very nice and attentive. There was an ouzo as a welcome. The starter was okay. Mussels in tomsten sauce with bread. Nothing spectacular. The salad was very loaded with onions, ready-made dressing and slightly dried tomato and cucumber slices, an olive and a pepperoni. Seemed pretty unimaginative. For the main course I ate leg of lamb with potato wedges. I thought the meat and the sauce were delicious, the potato wedges were frozen (pre-seasoned) and placed in the sauce. As a result, the potatoes became very mushy after a short time and were no longer edible. The potatoes should have been served on a separate plate. The food was also very hearty. All in all, rather average or standard, therefore rather disappointing. I probably won't come back.

This restaurant is definitely my favorite restaurant, or rather, ours. The selection of food is perfect and good and there is never anything to complain about. The restaurant is perfectly managed and the service is always friendly and courteous. The ouzo only tastes good in the Hellas Palace😉 and should therefore definitely not be missed. Were there today with 8 people, several of us had gyros, which unfortunately wasn't recommended at all, full of gristle and fat. You couldn't eat the potato wedges at all, not seasoned at all and dry. The starter (Saganaki) was missing tzatziki, there was only the cheese and an olive with 2 slices of tomatoes, looked pretty lost on the plate and not at all acceptable for the price. The only good thing was the ambience and the drinks. Were there for the first and unfortunately last time.

Delicious and cheap Greek. Friendly service and very responsive to the customer's wishes. My steak was put back on the grill because it wasn't as cooked as ordered. The food was very tasty and well portioned. There was children's schnapps for the children and ouzo for the adults.

The Greek "Hellas Palace" restaurant is a wonderful opportunity to taste the tasty dishes with a southern flair. From delicious appetizers to grilled dishes to excellent desserts, everything is delicious here and is a real treat for the taste buds. The restaurant itself is bright, clean and nicely decorated. The staff is on point and extremely friendly when it comes to helping you make decisions. Free parking spaces are available in the area for disabled people. Children's well-being is also taken care of, which is why I give it a fantastic 5 stars.

The food was very good. The service was courteous and nice. Unfortunately, I slipped on a wet spot there and got a bruised knee. My niece confirmed to me that she had slipped in that spot before too... just don't stop Case came...The employees were there immediately, even though they of course said it couldn't have been wet. We really enjoy staying at Hellas Palace. All the employees are very friendly, the food is delicious, and special requests are taken into account, such as: smaller portions, extra cheese, etc. Our dogs are allowed into the restaurant, which unfortunately is not allowed in many other restaurants. We feel very comfortable there and always warmly welcomed.

Ich habe seit ich in Niedersachsen wohne (seit 2014) das erste mal eine wirklich gute Moussaka gegessen. Sie war heiß man konnte alle Schichten schmecken und sie war super lecker gewürzt . Mein Mann hatte ein super leckeres Rindersteak das auf den Punkt gebraten war und dazu eine tolle Pfeffersoße. Das Personal war schnell und sehr freundlich . Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We were there several times. Meat dishes good, side salad unimaginative. On Friday I decided on calamari. There were limp fried squid rings and mushy broccoli with hollandaise. Incredible.

We have been there a few times and after a negative stay we are now thrilled that everything has changed for the better. If they don't change, we'll remain regulars.

Wanted to have a free birthday after 30 minutes, not drinking from the food, no trace when asked, very unfriendly answers for me, no second visit.

The staff was very nice, there was even 2 on the house for ouzo. The ambience was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately I didn't like the food at all. The salad was poor for a restaurant. The meat was dry and tasted strange. Rice, fries and saganaki was okay. No recommendation from me.

The ambience is great, the service is friendly and quick. The food was good, but there was still room for improvement. However, it was definitely enough. Personally, I find it a bit unfortunate when a total of 4 waiters serve our table during our stay. Otherwise solid restaurant.

I've often eaten there, but we usually pick something up. I haven't been disappointed with either one. The gyro plate is my favorite. Not only does the gyro always taste very good, the tzatziki is not too strong, the rice is delicious and the fries are not run of the mill, but thick cut and only slightly and coarsely seasoned. Even when you pick it up you are offered an ouzo. Seating inside and outside, parking can be a bit difficult at peak times, then you may have to move to the 2nd Wieke. There's also a lot of pick-up, which can be uncomfortable if you're sitting in the bar/cashier area.

The food was okay, everything was very classic, I've eaten worse but also better Greek food. I had an onion soup, but it tasted like canned food, and the main course was gyros with calamari, unfortunately it was the rings and not fresh calamari.

Unfortunately I didn't get a table so I can't rate it
