Hello Oldenburg, Was at Heini am Stau today for breakfast with 16 people. Haven't been here yet and what can I say - top 5 stars 🌟 nothing more is possible. Delicious food, great ambience and great location. Come here and take a look. But reserve

Das Personal hat die unglaubliche Gabe, dem Gast trotz höflicher Bedienung zu verstehen zu geben, dass man nur aufgrund des Austausches von Nahrung und Geld geduldet wird. Am besten viel und teuer bestellen und möglichst bald wieder verschwinden. Ach ja, die Quittung wird ungern herausgegeben und wenn, dann nur auf Nachfrage und auch nicht immer deckungsgleich mit dem gezahlten Betrag.

On October 12th I invited my family to a birthday breakfast. Unfortunately the service was extremely poor. A thermos flask of coffee was already on the table, but it didn't deserve to be called coffee. You could clearly see the bottom of the cup. We were also not made aware that other coffee specialties were also included in the price and we were not asked whether anyone would like to drink tea. Unfortunately, the used dishes were not cleared away in between. This only happened after I specifically asked the waitress to do so. At a price of 25.00 euros per person, I expect more attention from the staff as well as the selection of the offer. What a shame!! I'm definitely not coming back.

We were there for breakfast on a Sunday in November. The restaurant was very well attended. The waitresses were all very friendly and orders were completed quickly. The furnishings are cozy. In the warmer seasons, the restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area right by the water. If there are a lot of guests there by car, parking spaces become scarce. Then you have to look for a place in the surrounding area, possibly for a fee.

The nice location on the water and the interesting history of the restaurant are very good. The rooms are attractive and tidy. As has often been noted here, the map is not particularly extensive. The quality of the food was ok, which is what you would expect given the prices. The meat and salmon burgers were okay, but not so good that you'd say "we definitely have to go back here again soon!" The male service was attentive and correct, but seemed a bit edgy. Personally, I would have liked a little more North German objectivity better. All in all, it's a pretty good choice to stop by there, but there's no real enthusiasm.

Heini am Stau is a great place to feel good! The atmosphere is totally relaxed – you immediately feel welcome. The service was excellent, the team is super attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Just the right place to relax with good food and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

After the registry office we had lunch there with our small group. Wonderful and attentive service, delicious food, a great ambience! We had a great wedding day at "Heini", which couldn't have been better. Our guests were also totally thrilled. Keep it up!! We'd love to come back

Good drinks menu. Rum selection ok. Heinis-Helles was delicious. Service very friendly and accommodating. If I'm in Oldenburg again, I'll have a drink there again. I've only heard positive things about the food from the neighboring tables.

I was there for the breakfast buffet with my family. Great service, large selection, nice staff and great atmosphere! Conclusion: Very happy again... five stars more than deserved! 😀👍

Ich kann nur loben...ein fantastischer Abend in schönem Ambiente, hervorragender Service, und das Essen war jeden Cent wert, ich habe sehr lange nicht so gut gegessen und dann der Digestif( aus einer kleinen Feinbrennerei um Münsterland) den MUSS ! jeder probieren ...für mich alles in allem ein 1 mit* , wir kommen gerne wieder und haben euch schon sehr oft weiter empfohlen...

Codderous but smart and attentive service. 😊 I had a schnitzel, which was very tasty. It's definitely even nicer in the summer when you can sit by the canal.

It was a really great evening, you can only give it 5 stars. One negative point to note is that it was very drafty at our table, to the right of the coat rack. I tied my jacket around my kidneys to protect myself.

A nice restaurant with good food and relaxed but friendly and fun staff. The dishes at - admittedly ambitious - prices are tasty and sufficiently portioned. We liked the “house beer”. Overall a pleasant visit. If you place great value on an upscale ambience, this might not be the right place for you. But if you like something a little more relaxed, this is the place for you.

Were in Oldenburg due to moving and were looking for a nice restaurant in the evening. The name caught our eye on Google and the menu matched our expectations. So just go there. Even though it was busy, we still got a nice table for 3 people. The food was great, especially “Ochse Uwenknecht”. We laughed a lot while reading the map. The staff is super friendly, attentive and happy to receive positive feedback about the food. Even a small complaint was handled very professionally without hesitation. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Keep it up!

Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined significantly. Small portions that are carelessly served at exorbitant prices. The menu has also been shortened significantly. Only the location can convince.

Have been to this restaurant for a long time. Overall very enjoyable experience. The quality has improved significantly compared to previous times, and the outlook for the Hunte is of course still unbeatable. Solid atmosphere with enough space between the tables, so that you didn't have the feeling of sitting at the neighbor's table like in some other restaurants. Attentive service and prompt service in all matters. And last but not least, of course, a very good meal. where, like in some other local restaurants, you don't immediately get the impression that you only have the Metro Convenience range on your plate.

Highly recommended for lunch, pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Price okay. Very happy again.

Enjoyed breakfast brunch with birthday guests. Everything your heart could desire was there, from cereal to scrambled eggs, onion meat, etc. to fruit and cheese. It was always refilled. Staff very friendly and open-minded, acted proactively and responded immediately to requests. Was able to provide information about what was happening in the area. The ambience of the restaurant inside and outside had a feel-good factor. Conclusion: highly recommended.

Nice atmosphere inside and out, right on the water, found a shady spot outside and had a delicious lunch. Friendly service, price performance absolutely ok. There are enough parking spaces all around. From there explored the OL harbor.

The ambience is okay but a bit old. I was surprised that only five tables were occupied, and that on Saturday evening at the best time. Previously you had to reserve a week in advance! Why this is the case is immediately explained. As always, the service was attentive and friendly. But the food is no longer recommended. The court: "The Harbor Master" has become more expensive, which is completely okay due to the increased energy and personnel costs. But the fact that only a “half portion” is served is a disgrace. I wasn't full and ate a little something else. For me the store is dead.

Not exactly cheap, but very tasty. Cool decor and nice staff. You can also follow (or postpone) a short walk along the harbor ⚓.

Wo soll ich anfangen ? Also fangen wir mal an mit dem was ich persönlich unschön finde. Als da wäre einen fremden Gast sofort mit "Du" anzusprechen. Ich würde ein freundliches "Sie" bevorzugen. Besonders wenn der Gast auch doppelt so alt sein könnte. Und dann das teure Essen. Für mich ist dieses Lokal nicht nur gestorben sondern ein absolutes NO NO.

The location matters. Nice view of the river and well shaded outside. The service wasn't unfriendly, but it wasn't exactly on point either. What's bad is the overpriced food, especially tagliatelle with very little pesto and a few olives for EUR 18.90 plus extras. Just dry. We were also told that you couldn't swap the pesto because the pasta was "already prepared".

Very nice location, right on the quay wall, with a view of the theater harbor on the other bank. The service was very friendly and helpful during my visit. The food is tasty and appropriately portioned for the mid-range prices. The original names stand out on offer. There are, for example, Schnitzeljäger, Gorch Pork, Wiese meets Huhn or Klabautermann. Behind it there are some classic German dishes or, for example, a few sumptuous burger creations. Vegetarians and vegans are also considered. All in all, a worthwhile goal.

Auch mir sind die vorangegangenen negativen Bewertungen aufgefallen, aber ich mache mir gerne selbst ein Bild und kann die Kritikpunkte definitiv nicht bestätigen. Wir sind zweimal innerhalb kurzer Zeit dort gewesen und beide mal hochzufrieden. Kleine Karte mit Leckereien für alle Geschmäcker und kreativer Namensgebung für die Gerichte. Unkomplizierter, lockerer und aufmerksamer Service, dazu Blick auf's Wasser, umfangreiche Getränkekarte; gerne wieder!

A chic, yet rustic restaurant right on the Hunte. Good food, friendly staff and acceptable prices. There was a lot of fun with the names of the dishes and it sounds a bit silly at times, but for me it makes me smile rather than complain. Dogs are welcome, as are walk-ins, as long as there is space.

We were there for dinner. Unfortunately the weather was too rainy to sit outside, but that's fine there. Great location right on the water. Inside it is very tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and there were enough of them. We enjoyed the food very much. It's nice that there were enough vegetarian and vegan dishes. We'd love to come back.

The offer and the taste are great, and I personally really liked the maritime touch of the restaurant. The staff always has a good saying up their sleeves.

Very competent but also lovely service staff who always look after their guests and show extremely professional behavior. Warm-hearted and competent - what a mix! I feel incredibly well looked after here. Prices are unfortunately high these days, but there are plenty of them here. I will DEFINITELY come back here! For me an absolute in-place in Oldenburg!

On the occasion of our wedding, my husband and I decided to spend the evening with our guests at Heini am Stau - and that was clearly the right decision. The preliminary conversation with the owner was super friendly and open and we immediately felt at home. Our wish was even granted to have the winter garden completely to ourselves, even though we didn't actually invite the minimum number of people for that. We would like to thank you again for this! The evening of the celebration itself was really nice and relaxed. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, as we had requested there was a reception with champagne, Aperol, beer, etc. and the starters were already on the tables so that we could arrive in peace and take a small bite . We ordered à la carte as we were only a small party (17 people) and both the main course and the dessert were served warm and at the same time for everyone. At this point I would also like to say a big thank you to the employee who provided us with everything quickly and easily throughout the evening in a cheerful and relaxed manner. The menu at Heini am Stau is very diverse, from burgers to steak to pasta and many vegetarian options. So we had a good feeling for our guests that everyone would find something. And so it was. Topped off with dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. We ended the evening comfortably with beer, Aperol, cocktails and one or two nightcaps. The atmosphere and the entire ambience at Heini im Stau are very special and we would book here again and again to spend a nice evening with guests or just as a couple.

The food has great names. But unfortunately no taste because no spice was used. Salt and pepper were also used at the next table, so they had the same problem.

I've been here several times for dinner on the outdoor terrace on a sunny afternoon. Last weekend I hosted a larger birthday party at the restaurant. Starting with the offer, everything was very professional and customer-oriented at all times. The evening was awesome! Marven and his team looked after my guests with first-class service and the food was excellent - big praise for the kitchen. Replenishments were also organized straight away if something was missing from the buffet. That's what you want, thank you!

We wanted to end Valentine's Day with a nice romantic meal. However, we were disappointed. There is nothing wrong with the service/staff! Right from the start we noticed that the dishes on the menu had been reduced and the more unusual dishes no longer existed. The only thing exclusive to us was the cocktails. In addition, the prices are impressive. The schnitzel dish with potato salad for 19 euros did not meet our expectations. The dessert variations for 2 for 22 euros also tasted good, but we expected crème brûlée and not cream. Overall, solid dishes at high prices. The question is, do you want to spend the money just on the ambience?!

Was there for breakfast with my favorite companion. Very great seating in the winter garden. I'm already looking forward to summer when you can sit on the large terrace. Very easy to reach on foot from Oldenburg city center.

Good food and great service. When selecting the ingredients, attention is paid to high quality. I had the straw pork schnitzel, I can only recommend it.

Ich bin spontan vorbei gekommen an einem Freitag Abend und habe glücklicherweise noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen und auch das Dessert war wie immer super lecker! Ich komme super gerne wieder.

Nach Spaziergang zur Autobahnbrücke dort Milchkaffee und Apfelkuchen gesessen. Alles gut. Für's Unterhalten war es ganz gemütlich. Für die schöne Terrasse direkt an der Hunte war es schon zu kalt. Leider haben die Gaststätten jetzt schon die Preise erhöht, um die dann nach MwSt.-Erhöhung nochmal zu erhöhen.

Toller Ausblick aufs Wasser, gemütliches Ambiente und gutes Essen.

Zwei Sterne für das nette Ambiente. Das essen war leider für den Preis wirklich sehr schlecht. Teilweise verkocht, teilweise einfach schlampig gearbeitet. Alles in allem eine große Enttäuschung für uns.

Das Restaurant liegt sehr schön am Oldenburger Hafen. Gegenüber wird derzeit gebaut, was aber nur wenig stört. Der Service ist bei meinen Besuchen sehr unterschiedlich ausgefallen - von sehr burschikos bis fröhlich/freundlich war alles dabei. Das Essen ist gut, aber hat auch seinen Preis. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne dorthin, weil es je nach Bedürfnis lebendige oder ruhige, sonnige oder schattige Plätze mit Bänken oder Stühlen gibt und man sich dort auch gut länger aufhalten kann.
