Wie soll man denn frühstücken, wenn das Lokal erst um 17:00 Uhr öffnet?

Das einzig gute war die Ambiente. Angefangen hat es damit, das alkoholfreies Bier bestellt wurde und stattdessen mit Alkohol kam. Die Spargelsuppe bestand nur aus Milch. Es war tatsächlich ungenießbar. Die Hauptgerichte waren auch enttäuschend, da auch Preis- Leistung gar nicht stimmte.

Immer wieder gerne hier. Tolles Ambiente und sehr nette Servicemitarbeiter. Essen gut und warm. Es schmeckt richtig gut.

Billiges Convenience-Food zu horrenden Preisen. Vorspeisen in Minigrössen für saftige Euros. Wir waren extrem enttäuscht vom Preis-Leistungsgefüge. 1 (einzige!) knapp handtellergrosse Kartoffelgrösti mit wenig Beilagensalat und etwas Preisselbeere für 11,90 €. Es hat einfach nicht gestimmt. Hier waren wir zweimal auf einmal. Das erste und letzt Mal. esie ung nett. Die können ja auch nix dafür.

Wie waren zu einer Hochzeit eingeladen und haben hier Mittag gegessen. Wunderbares Ambiente und sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Essen war sehr anschaulich gestaltet und hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Getränke waren ebenfalls sehr gut angerichtet und hatten die perfekte Zusammenstellung aus den einzelnen Komponenten. Alles in allem war es ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Vielen Dank an die Crew ☀️👍

Wir hatten einen Mädels Abend dort und fanden das Essen sehr lecker. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter. Bei uns gab es Burger und Hähnchen mit Gemüse. Die Lokation ist schön gestaltet und an warmen Tagen kann man schön draußen am Wasser sitzen. Als wir da waren, war nicht viel los (Sonntag Abend) und wir haben auch nicht lange auf unser Essen gewartet.

Großartiges Restaurant! Zum Frühstücksbrunch kommen wir extra aus Schwanewede. Tolle Auswahl, sehr nett angerichtet und schnell aufgefüllt. Die Bedienung hatte immer einen sehr guten Überblick und war an Freundlichkeit nicht zu toppen. Die Plätze draußen am Wasser sind sehr schön gelegen. Nur die Farbe des Flusses könnte schöner sein...aber das ist der einzige Kritikpunkt

Überschaubare Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Stand April 2026:Die Preise im Aushang vor dem Restaurant stimmen nicht mehr mit den Preisen in der Speisekarte überein. Das Schnitzel mit Jägersauce ist 2 Euro teurer als draußen angegeben. Das Schnitzel war geschmacklich wie ein Schnitzel sein soll: Saftig-zart. Die Jägersauce mit ein paar Pilzen war geschmacklich recht dezent und zu stark abgebunden und hatte eine galertartige Konsistenz. Scheinbar etwas zu viel Stärke verwendet.Eine Beilagenänderung würde-laut Servicekraft-bei diesem Gericht mit 2 € zu Buche schlagen, wenn man statt des Kartoffelgratins (grobe Kartoffelstückchen mit Käse überbacken)eher Pommes Frites wählen wollen würde.Das Spargelsüppchen war lauwarm, kurz durchpüriert und nicht passiert. Die Biolimonade hätte 0,3 Liter sein sollen, serviert wurde aber ein Fläschchen mit 0,25 Liter Füllmenge. Fürs selbe Geld. Heini am Stau ist ein nettes Ausflugslokal. Aber hier und da kantapert halt auf der Speise- und Getränkekarte der Fehlerteufel umher. Kurz und knapp: Service ist aufmerksam und fähig. In der Küche empfehle ich, sich ein Beispiel an der direkten Konkurrenz im Umfeld des Hafens zu nehmen. Die kennen die Magie der Gewürze und guter Ware.

Ich war vor Kurzem im „Heini am Stau“ und leider insgesamt enttäuscht. Die Lage am Wasser ist zwar wirklich schön, aber Service und Essen haben für mich nicht gepasst. Die Bedienung wirkte gestresst und unaufmerksam, Bestellungen haben lange gedauert und Nachfragen wurden eher widerwillig beantwortet. Das Essen war für den aufgerufenen Preis qualitativ aus meiner Sicht nicht überzeugend: Die Speisen kamen nur lauwarm an, wirkten lieblos angerichtet und geschmacklich eher durchschnittlich. Für das Preisniveau hätte ich frische, besser abgestimmte Gerichte erwartet.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön aber das Essen schlecht.. alles Fertigprodukte. Nicht zu empfehlen. Die Preisliste draussen ist im Schnitt 2 Euro günstiger als die realen Preise. Geht gar nicht

Tolle Lage am Stau, Bedienung sehr freundlich, überraschend günstig und fast das wichtigste es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich war schon öfters hier zum essen. Von Freunden die Fleisch essen habe ich deutlich besseres gehört aber ich bin jedes mal einfach sehr enttäuscht gewesen was das vegetarische Essen angeht. Erstens sind die vegetarische Optionen sehr mid (basic). Der veggie Burger ist einfach nur eine gegrillte paprika mit bisschen pesto/mayo - das könnte man als sandwich für so 7/8 euro in eine bistro bekommen, einfach unspektakulär. Pommes sind nicht besonders gut. Ich hatte auch schonmal beide Nudeln die vegetarisch sind und die sind einfach recht standard, keine frische oder selbstgemachte Nudeln oder Soße und auch echt dann für ein sehr hohes Preis für keine großartige Zutaten. Das brot was man als Vorspeise bekommt ist nicht frisch - man merkt einfach nur es wurde eben kurz warm gemacht aber ist aus der Packung. Die Soßen, Aioli schmeckt alles wie fergit gemachte Produkte - nicht frisch. Das schlimmste ist die Schoko-Mousse, es schmeckt wieder nicht selber gemacht und wenn - ist das keine richtige Mousse... Es schmeckt wie eine Schoko-Sahne. Meine Meinung nach keine wirklich koch kunst/arbeit. Dafür sind die Preise auch recht hoch. Also was das vegetarische angeht, keine Zutaten aus hohe qualität, keine schöne oder besondere Geschmacksrichtungen, einfach richtig unspektakulär. Atmosphäre, Deko ist aber sehr nett hier und die Bedienung auch nett. Ich finde es schade, da es einfach eine sehr schöne Location ist und mit ein etwas bunteres Menü und bessere Zutaten könnte es echt besser sein.

Waren zum Frühstücksbuffet dort. Tolle Auswahl. Obwohl es sehr gut besucht war, war es nur mäßig laut und man konnte sich sehr gut unterhalten, keine mega Schlange am Buffet. Sehr zu empfehlen. Klasse!

Gute deftige Küche zu schönem Ambiente!

Gute Lage, sehr nette Bedienung und gutes Essen. Kein kulinarischer Donnerschlag, Brauhaus Style. Negativ: Schnitzel-Jäger laut Karte mit Kartoffelgratin, komische Zusammenstellung. Ich wollte stattdessen Pommes, dafür mussten wir 2 Euro extra zahlen. Völlig sinnlos, das soll mir mal einer erklären. Trotzdem, da kann man gut hingehen.

Gemütliche Gaststätte, gutes Essen, nette und kompetente Mitarbeiter. Sehr schöne Aussicht am Abend auf der Terrasse, auch wenn wir bei den Temperaturen nicht solange auf der Terrasse bleiben konnten. Wer in der Nähe ist, sollte Heini am Stau besuchen.

Weihnachtsferien mit Firma. Die Vorsuppe war lauwarm ( Hühnersuppe), die Ochsen Backe war richtig gut. Dessert mit Eis, der Krumble schmeckt nach Backofen. Bedienung nett, Feierbedingt im Stress

We were planning to eat here this afternoon. We checked the website and the opening hours, so we made the somewhat longer journey. At 3 pm we arrived at the restaurant... Closed for an event. Seriously, in this day and age, things can be done differently. A quick note on the website or on Google would have been great and helpful. Very disappointing and quite frustrating for us.

A very large selection at the breakfast buffet with fresh rolls, fresh cold cuts including fish, fresh fruit, and fruit salad. Very attentive staff! Excellent value for money; we will definitely come again!

I went there for my company's Christmas party and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Even though the restaurant was busy, we were able to have a conversation at a normal volume. Thank you so much!

A wonderful christening celebration We celebrated our daughter's christening with about 20 guests in the conservatory at Heinis. The staff had already decorated the space warmly and lovingly with the decorations we brought (table tents, garland, balloons, party favors, scatter decorations, etc.) while we were at the service. A separate children's table was set up, and the art supplies were beautifully arranged. And although our email with the exact order hadn't gone through beforehand (our fault), the chef and waiter reacted expertly and spontaneously accommodated our requests. It was a wonderful christening celebration in a beautiful setting! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts, and we would love to come back!

A very nice restaurant with excellent food. We had baked potatoes with ratatouille, salmon fritters, and a salad. Everything was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Dessert was amazing. Addendum: A good four months later, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet on a Saturday. There was a bit of everything, so everyone found something. Hot and cold options, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and various coffee specialties are included in the price. We really enjoyed it. And here, too, the staff were very friendly, always asking if we needed anything else. We've already reserved another table for the end of November—I think that says it all.

Very nice restaurant right on the harbor. The breakfast buffet has a very nice and extensive selection, and the food is delicious. One negative, and hence the loss of a star, is that the buffet times are incorrectly listed online. We were a bit surprised when the table was suddenly cleared away an hour before the expected end time. When we pointed out that, according to the website, breakfast times were still open for another hour, one person said they would have to adjust them, while another rudely "turned us away." In the end, we were given a glass of Prosecco on the house, which was very nice, but of course didn't satisfy our hunger. Instead of the anticipated 1.5 hours, we only had half an hour for the food. It's a shame; we would have liked to have enjoyed the buffet for longer, especially for the price we paid.

The breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious. The staff was courteous and professional. All drinks were included. I'm delighted and would happily come back again.

- Very poor selection of dishes - You have to order everything separately to even come close to being full. (Baked potato + chicken in this case) was almost 30 euros, and that without a sauce/dip, you also have to order it separately.) - Barely any seasoning Anyone who orders salad here would have to be a ruminant to digest it. - Extremely overpriced - Offering 0.2 L bottles of drinks is a disgrace.

Delicious food with a view of the Hunte

Great location on the Hunte River, but the rest is nothing. Service takes forever, only to be told that the local gin is out (and the cake at the next table is the same). When it comes to paying, everyone is overwhelmed—nice but overwhelmed. In short: annoying!

The service was simply superb. The girls gave it their all; we had a fantastic evening. We sat outside and celebrated our 25th graduation. Refills of drinks, food, service, and table extensions for latecomers; everything was uncomplicated and quick. I personally deducted a small B grade because we were served a very limited, at the time unacceptable, menu without salad on a day when it was so hot that most people would have actually preferred a salad. We reported this, and the service team responded brilliantly; everything was fine. All in all, it's a really beautiful location right on the water, truly underrated; you're just a few minutes by bike from town in a truly beautiful restaurant right on the water, with top-notch service. All in all, five stars; as I said, with the tiny deduction for the menu we were given. Tip: If you can predict the weather conditions, discuss the menu again shortly beforehand. Thank you for the great service and a truly successful evening.

Absolutely delicious food, followed by a great dining atmosphere and nice staff. We visited with our small daughter and she was very catered to food wise. 100% recommend!

We recently ate at Heini am Stau and I decided to write a review. We were there around 2 p.m., and extremely loud house music from 2011 was blaring from the speakers. I felt like I was back on my graduation trip to Lloret de Mar—and not in a good way. It absolutely did not contribute to a pleasant lunch atmosphere. I had the Salmon Vegas Burger. It was okay at best, but never worth the price. My husband had the pasta. He didn't finish it because it didn't taste good at all. And it didn't taste like homemade either. Our little daughter had mashed potatoes—completely oversalted for a kids' meal. The food is extremely expensive, subpar in taste, and the atmosphere was disastrous, at least for that time of day and time. The only thing nice was the view of the water. But I could have just gotten a fries somewhere and sat by the water. I can't understand the positive reviews, so I decided to write one.

Super nice restaurant at Huntehafen, with a view of the water. The service was very friendly and even set up a table for us on the terrace. We only had cakes and desserts, but they were really great. We will definitely come back and eat properly!

We had a small private birthday party there. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed it and the atmosphere was wonderful. There was also a beautiful view of the water.

Had my second visit to Heini on Saturday. Once again great food and great service staff including restaurant manager. We will definitely go there more often. Great ambience and a great view of the water and the harbor. I'm looking forward to the summer when you can sit outside in a beach chair.

The online reservation worked perfectly. There was already the first plus point here. :-) The ambience is nice. I always plan to come in the summer and sit outside by the water, but somehow we're always there at the wrong time of year. But it's nice inside too. Modernly decorated, it wasn't too loud and the service was attentive and you never felt forgotten. The map can be expanded, but everyone can find something. The portion was big enough. All in all, a lovely, successful evening. We always like to come back.

Since I could hardly order anything there as a vegan, I ordered two portions of fries with ketchup and a drink. The outside of the bottle was completely dirty and a bit moldy. Someone must have noticed that when they opened it. Then only one French fry came. When asked, a second one came much later. But unfortunately without ketchup. So hit the staff again. Then it came. Going out for almost €20 for two really small bowls of fries and a Sprite is way too expensive for me. The ambience is nice though.

Everything tasted delicious and the service was very good.

Today we went to Heini am Stau for brunch. The selection at the buffet had something to suit every taste, including fish, cheese, sausage and fruit. Coffee, juice and water were included in the price per person. The service is very attentive, when breakfast was over we moved to the terrace, where you have a nice view of the harbor, if you're lucky, cargo ships and small boats will also come by, we can tell it's going to be a day like that repeated

It's a very nice location. We felt very comfortable there. We were there with the family for Advent dinner. The service is very good. The waitress gave very good advice and fulfilled all our wishes regarding the food. Any time again when we are in Oldenburg.

Wir haben am 01.12.2024 eine Gruppe von 15 Personen zum Frühstücksbuffet, incl. Sektempfang gebucht. Es war ein hervorragender Service, super leckeres Essen und eine unglaubliche Auswahl, weit über ein normales Frühstücksbuffet hinaus. Alles war sehr frisch und schön angerichtet. Es wurde stets frisch nachgelegt. Habe nicht einmal eine leere Platte gesehen. Auch beim Kaffee war die Kanne stets mit heißem Kaffee gefüllt. Alle in unserer Gruppe (Alter zwischen 50 und über 80) waren durchweg begeistert. Nicht nur vom tollen Angebot. Auch das Personal ist dort super freundlich. Immer am Kunden und nie aufdringlich. Vor unserem Besuch habe ich die Bewertungen gelesen und mich im Nachhinein gefragt warum einige Bewertungen so schlecht ausgefallen sind. Ich kann das so nicht bestatigen. Wir waren zu 100% zufrieden und werden die Lokalität sicher öfter besuchen. Bitte macht euch selbst ein Bild von der Freundlichkeit des Teams und von absolut leckerem Frühstücksbuffet. Wir sagen noch einmal DANKE! für diesen wunderschönen Vormittag. Es hat alles gepasst.

Das Personal hat die unglaubliche Gabe, dem Gast trotz höflicher Bedienung zu verstehen zu geben, dass man nur aufgrund des Austausches von Nahrung und Geld geduldet wird. Am besten viel und teuer bestellen und möglichst bald wieder verschwinden. Ach ja, die Quittung wird ungern herausgegeben und wenn, dann nur auf Nachfrage und auch nicht immer deckungsgleich mit dem gezahlten Betrag.

On October 12th I invited my family to a birthday breakfast. Unfortunately the service was extremely poor. A thermos flask of coffee was already on the table, but it didn't deserve to be called coffee. You could clearly see the bottom of the cup. We were also not made aware that other coffee specialties were also included in the price and we were not asked whether anyone would like to drink tea. Unfortunately, the used dishes were not cleared away in between. This only happened after I specifically asked the waitress to do so. At a price of 25.00 euros per person, I expect more attention from the staff as well as the selection of the offer. What a shame!! I'm definitely not coming back.

We were there for breakfast on a Sunday in November. The restaurant was very well attended. The waitresses were all very friendly and orders were completed quickly. The furnishings are cozy. In the warmer seasons, the restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area right by the water. If there are a lot of guests there by car, parking spaces become scarce. Then you have to look for a place in the surrounding area, possibly for a fee.

The nice location on the water and the interesting history of the restaurant are very good. The rooms are attractive and tidy. As has often been noted here, the map is not particularly extensive. The quality of the food was ok, which is what you would expect given the prices. The meat and salmon burgers were okay, but not so good that you'd say "we definitely have to go back here again soon!" The male service was attentive and correct, but seemed a bit edgy. Personally, I would have liked a little more North German objectivity better. All in all, it's a pretty good choice to stop by there, but there's no real enthusiasm.

Heini am Stau is a great place to feel good! The atmosphere is totally relaxed – you immediately feel welcome. The service was excellent, the team is super attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Just the right place to relax with good food and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

After the registry office we had lunch there with our small group. Wonderful and attentive service, delicious food, a great ambience! We had a great wedding day at "Heini", which couldn't have been better. Our guests were also totally thrilled. Keep it up!! We'd love to come back

Good drinks menu. Rum selection ok. Heinis-Helles was delicious. Service very friendly and accommodating. If I'm in Oldenburg again, I'll have a drink there again. I've only heard positive things about the food from the neighboring tables.

Ich kann nur loben...ein fantastischer Abend in schönem Ambiente, hervorragender Service, und das Essen war jeden Cent wert, ich habe sehr lange nicht so gut gegessen und dann der Digestif( aus einer kleinen Feinbrennerei um Münsterland) den MUSS ! jeder probieren ...für mich alles in allem ein 1 mit* , wir kommen gerne wieder und haben euch schon sehr oft weiter empfohlen...
