Heimkantine in Herzogenaurach

Wir waren im vorigen Jahr schon mal spontan in der Heimkantine essen und diemal in unserem Kurzurlaub 2 mal. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen ist frisch und sehr lecker. Denke wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Aufendhalt in Herzogenaurach wieder.

Man stelle sich vor das man die griechische Küche nicht kennt und zum ersten mal essen geht....und dann noch hier 😬 man würde nie wieder griechisch essen gehen weil es einfach nicht schmeckt. Das beste waren die Oliven! Ansonsten viel fertig gekauftes. Hervorzuheben ist das daß Olivenöl am Tisch was ich doch sehr bezweifle das es eins ist ranzig war sowie die Flasche am Buffet die auch ranzig schmeckte. Echt Schade. Das Fleisch sehr trocken und geschmacklos. Bei den Calamari wurde die Haut vorher nicht entfernt, das merkt man dann natürlich im Mund. Selbst der griechische Joghurt hatte meiner Meinung nach keine 10% Fett. Im großen und ganzen war das definitiv das erste und das letzte mal. Ich habe noch nie so schlecht griechisch gegessen wie hier!

All you can Eat Buffet ist leider nur maximal Durchschnitt. Es ist alles ausreichend vorhanden und es wird auch nachgefüllt aber die Speisen sind teilweise Eiskalt bis maximal lauwarm.

Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut Gyrosfleisch war gut aber leider kalt! Ansonsten alles sehr gut kann man weiter empfehlen! Service sehr gut!

Haben heute das All you can eat Buffet ausprobiert. War alles sehr ansprechend und sauber angerichtet. Sehr nette Bedienung. Essen ist sehr vielfältig und lecker. Grosse Auswahl, für jeden etwas dabei. Klare Empfehlung Wir kommen gerne wieder

Waren zum Buffet in der Heimkantine. Das Ambiente, ha es ist eine Sportgaststätte, darüber sollte man sich bewusst sein. Da kann es auch mal sein das da eine Mannschaft nach dem Training herein schneit. Ansonsten ist es dort sehr sauber, man kann in die Küche sehen also auch nichts zu verbergen. Zum Essen, ansich ist dass was angeboten wird sehr schmackhaft, leider ist es meist nicht mehr sehr heiß gewesen. Was schade ist, und wir auch eigentlich erwarten. Vielleicht könnte das ein bisschen optimiert werden. Preis von 25€ / Buffet pro Person, ist bei der Auswahl und dem Angebot gerechtfertigt. Der Service, die Dame die uns bediente war überaus freundlich Danke Kommen wieder und können es empfehlen

Top Essen, sehr freundlicher Service und für ein Sportheim schöne Atmosphäre. Immer wieder gerne.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Die Führung dieses Hauses ist absolut unzuverlässig und hält sich nicht an getroffene Vereinbarungen. Menschlich und professionell war das leider gar nichts. Wer Wert auf Handschlagqualität legt, wird hier bitter enttäuscht.

Der beste Ort, den ich je besucht habe, nach „Bred“ in Griechenland natürlich. Außerdem gibt es dort oft sehr nette Frauen. 🫶TOP

Beim ersten Besuch an einem Freitag mit großer Gruppe: Buffet überwiegend Tiefkühlware und sehr fettig. Für Gäste ohne Schweinefleisch kaum Auswahl. Raum stickig, keine Musik, nur Geräuschkulisse. Insgesamt enttäuschend.

Wir kamen an einem Abend an dem es griechisches Buffet gab. Wir könnten also vieles probieren und alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Wir hatten für heute Abend ca 20:30 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert . Wir kamen an und es war nicht mehr viel übrig vom Buffett . Die Behälter die nicht unter den Heizlampen platziert waren hatten entweder fast nichts mehr übrig oder der Rest von dem Essen was noch vorhanden war war schon kalt . Uns wurde gesagt wir können Bescheid geben , wenn wir noch etwas haben möchten. Dann würden Sie es noch bringen . Das haben Sie auch mit den Calamaris und dem Zaziki gemacht. Wenn man für ein Buffett Essen geht . Erwartet man das alles noch vorhanden ist und vor allem noch heiß ist .Es war dieses Mal sehr enttäuschend. Am besten kommt ihr schon um 17:00 Uhr dann bekommt ihr auch alles was sonst angeboten wird .

Buffet war "naja" nichts besonderes. Die meisten der Speisen waren gerade mal lauwarm und ständig die Beilagen leer. Fisch hat uns nicht geschmeckt die Calamaris waren wie Gummi und fast kalt. Die Krönung war aber die Nachspeise "griechischer Joghurt" der definitiv verdorben und nicht genießbar war. Das Ambiente dieser Gaststätte hat etwas von Studentenmensa.

1.5h zu spät kam das essen. als ich anrief hieß es sie haben meine bestellung nicht bekommen. plötzlich bekam ich eine benachrichtigung dass sie sich auf den weg machen. da passt also was nicht

Griechisches Buffet mit vielen Spezialitäten. Große Auswahl und immer frisch - es wird oft nachgelegt. Sehr gut. Personal ist zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Nur der Lautstärkepegel der Gäste war gestern etwas hoch.

Waren dort essen, wir haben das Buffet gewählt. Schöne Auswahl, schmackhaftes und qualitativ hochwertige Speisen, die sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Klare Weiterempfehlung, wenn man sehr gut griechisch Essen möchte. Familiengeführt und sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service.

We went for the Greek buffet. There was a huge selection, it was constantly refilled, and the food was hot and delicious. We found the price to be absolutely fair and reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

We just ordered food, and it was a complete disaster. The fries were inedible, the dips were served with ancient bread, and none of the dishes were even remotely seasoned. The portion sizes were also a joke: 7 calamari for €17 with soggy fries. Stay away!

The buffet offered a fantastic selection of authentic Greek delicacies. My favorite was Galaktoboureko 🤤What stood out most was the freshness of the food - it was hot at all times thanks to the constant cooking and the flames keeping everything warm. The atmosphere was warm and the staff was very friendly and professional. The price was very reasonable and we also had the option of eating a la carte. I highly recommend this place to try Greek cuisine.

I was very surprised to find a Greek restaurant in a sports center. A look at the menu surprised me even more. And then I ate amazing galaktoboureko. I cannot understand these reviews. Suvlaki was completely dry and tasted like it had been warmed up, you needed good teeth for the calamari, fries were good, that was the only thing. My wife had baked eggplant that was floating in oil. Once and never again

Delicious, warm, cheap. If you want to enjoy Greek cuisine, you don't have to travel to Athens. The home canteen offers excellent dishes at absolutely fair prices. Even a Greco burger is offered and tastes simply good. The Athens plate was also convincing. I'd love to come back.

I was there last night for the second time and the first time at the buffet evening. The restaurant impressed me the first time with the good food and, above all, the very, very nice boss. Because of my celiac disease, I rely on gluten-free food and yesterday at the buffet he personally showed me what I was allowed to eat (and that was a lot). I can also absolutely recommend the restaurant to celiac disease patients. And anyone else who would like to have a good Greek meal in Herzogenaurach.

It rained when we got there. I asked the worker for paper towels, so i can wipe down the benches amd the table myself bit he was like where do you sit? And came over and wiped it down for us. You go and get your own food and drink. We had Pommes, Obazda brot and Schnitzel mit Pommes. All were really good! The armosphere is nice as well! Oh and when you are done with your meal, you take the dishes to the front, where there is a dedicated area for the dishes!

Staff in the kitchen were very friendly and accommodating, service staff were confused, a few times the service staff came to our table with drinks that were actually ordered somewhere else. Waren zum griech. Buffet in der Heimkantine. Alles perfekt! Speisenauswahl klasse, alles frisch zubereitet und oft nachgelegt. Es war für jeden was da. Was ich vermisst habe: eine Suppe! Lediglich die Nachspeisen waren ruckzuck weg und es kam kaum was nach. Preis i. O., lediglich die Preise für die Getränke finde ich an der obersten Grenze angelangt. Personal in der Küche war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Servicepersonal durcheinander, ein paar mal kam die Servicekraft an useren Tisch mit Getränken, die eigentlich woanders bestellt wurden. Auch stimmte hinterher die Rechnung nicht, trotz elektronischem Tablett der Servicekraft (da falsch eingegeben). Alles in allem empfehlenswert. Aber es gibt noch genug Verbesserungspotential. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Never again buffet!!! No matter what I tried from the buffet, unfortunately it wasn't tasty. The gyros were dry, the tzatziki weren't tasty, the souvlaki were absolutely dry, the taramas were disgusting, the fries were the only thing that was halfway good. I don't know if it tastes better à la carte, but I'll probably never find out. The service was sometimes overwhelmed by the number of guests. We waited about 45 minutes until we could finally pay. The ambience is as beautiful as it can be on the edge of a football field. It's a shame, I was hoping for more based on the reviews.

Unfassbar enttäuscht, Personal solange freundlich Bis man Kritik äußert, der Chef äußerst überheblich zum Kunden, suflaki hatte einen ekelhaften Geruch, Bedienung ist sofort zum Vegetarier mutiert. Chef hat behauptet er hätte das Fleisch probiert, nix hat er, ich hatte das in Blick . Anweisung an seine Bedienung, Pech gehabt allen anderen hat es geschmeckt. Kritik nicht erwünscht. Als ich die Bedienung auf die Spinnweben angesprochen habe wurde auch sie unfreundlich. Warum hier soviele positiv Kommentar landen? Für mich nicht zu empfehlen, giros Null Geschmack, calamare? Salat war gut. Pommes okay. Uso gibt's nicht. Kunde ist König gibt's hier nicht Teller Mega schön angerichtet das war's aber auch

We went to the Greek buffet in the home canteen for the first time and were thrilled. The food was super tasty and plentiful. It was always refilled quickly so there was always something of everything. The service was also great and very friendly. The orders were taken and delivered quickly and we never had to wait. We felt very comfortable in terms of the atmosphere. We had children of different ages with us who had a nice activity in the outside playground between meals. We also had a wheelchair user with us, there were no problems with space and parking wasn't a problem either.

For us there has been no better Greek like Jorgos since September 2023 :-) I love Greek cuisine very much but what is offered here tops everything. No matter what you eat, it's super tasty and I highly recommend the buffet. Everything is always filled up immediately when something is empty and the whole team is open to requests, super nice and friendly. We always feel welcome and really our second home ❤️ Desserts: There are really delicious desserts that not every Greek can offer. German food: e.g. the Schäuferle is really great and the dumplings are just to enjoy. They taste really made from real potatoes and just like in grandma's kitchen. There's really nothing wrong with it. I'm looking forward to celebrating my 40th birthday there in November :-) What I would like if more events took place there. We recently went to the Greek buffet at the home canteen. Even though it was full, the food was quickly refilled and stayed warm in the containers. All dishes tried were high quality and very tasty! The staff was friendly and on the ball, the drinks were brought quickly, big praise to the entire team. I can only recommend it, we have already booked again ;-) See you soon!

I have to admit, I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I only reserved a table for New Year's Eve. There was no mention anywhere that anything special was to be expected that day. The surprise was that there was a Greek all-you-can-eat buffet, and at no exorbitant price. This was the best Greek food in the city that I have had the pleasure of trying in recent years. The service was super nice and always attentive. I was only able to report on the entertainment program, but there were definitely a few guests who even liked that.

Das Essen war ohne Einschränkungen sehr lecker und auch optisch einwandfrei. Ebenso der Service, hier gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Was allerdings nicht jedermanns Geschmack ist: das Ambiente, und das ist leider alles andere als griechisch. Selbst bei einem Sportheim könnte man noch mehr draus machen. Immerhin sind die beiden Köche auch Griechen. Ansonsten Weiterempfehlung!

Das Essen war so lecker, ich wollte so viel mehr essen aber ich hatte kein geld, Das Restaurant ist aber laut, (von mir aus gesehen) und die Atmosphäre ist sehr langweilig aber eine solide 6/10, der servics5war gut aber 4 Sterne weil die Mitarbeiterin war nicht so freundlich/Gastfreundlich, sie hatten diesen eine Ton von: ,, Boah gar kein bock auf diese leute" sonst war alles Perfekt, wenn ihr über die Preise fragt kann ich von erfahrung aus sagen das es ein fairer preis ist vielleicht für manche ein bißchen teuer aber für mich angemessene, ich empfehle dieses Restaurant sehr 👍 für die leute die eine sehr leckeres essen wollen
