Heckinghauser Grill in Wuppertal

Ich war hier schon öfter essen und wurde wirklich noch nie enttäuscht! Auch dieses Mal war alles top! Wir hatten Döner, Dönerpizza und Pommes. Das Dönerfleisch ist einfach mega lecker. Außerdem ist der Laden super sauber und die Leute dort immer total entspannt und freundlich. Immer wieder gerne!

Was ist nun passiert? Das Dönerfleisch hat auf einmal (Kalb) eine sehr schlechte Qualität. Fett und Sehnen. Warum fängt man jetzt so an?

Erstmal hat hier jeder den Döner anders gemacht, mal mit Mais und mal mit Rotkohl. War mir egal hat immer super geschmeckt. Jetzt ist der Preis der gleiche, aber der Döner locker mal um 30% weniger geworden, beim gleichen Preis…. Hättet ihr den Döner mal vorher nicht unnötig voll geballert, wäre er jetzt nicht so wo er ist… vorher maximal rein geachissen und jetzt maximal abziehen… Hab gerne Döner bestellt, aber hat sich erledigt

Super Essen, alles hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die Lieferung war schnell, das Personal sehr freundlich und der Service top. Insgesamt war alles perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nicht gut zum 10 ten Mal hab ich eine dönerpizza bestellt mit Salat Tomaten Gurken und zum 10ten Mal machen die es falsch nur mit Gurken ich weis nicht was bei euch los ist das unnormal fresch dann bezahle ich für 3 Pizzen 48€ ok die Inflation aber die leben gefühlt im paradise das die so viel verlangen

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Haben vor Ort Döner, Dürum und Dönerteller gegessen. Die Fleischqualität und der Geschmack war nach unserem Empfinden perfekt. Preis Leistung top👍🏼

Ich hab noch nie so leckere köfte gegessen

Habe vegetarische Pizza mit hollondaise und Broccoli und Kartoffeln bestellt war sehr lecker und reichlich belegt. Mein Freund hatte Taxi Teller und der war auch lecker, Gyros mit Tzaziki und Zwiebeln. Und lecker Currysauce, top.

Guten Tag, gestern habe ich folgende Bestellung aufgegeben: - 2 Döner Taschen - 2 Döner Teller - 3 Türkische Pizzen - 2 Cheezy Teller - 1 Döner Pizza Alles war wirklich sehr frisch, heiß und unglaublich lecker. Meine Familie und ich waren sehr begeistert. Auch der Lieferfahrer war sehr sympathisch, freundlich und ehrlich – ein sehr angenehmer Service. Außerdem ist die Atmosphäre, im Restaurant sehr schön, alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, und die Gerichte schmecken hervorragend. Meiner persönlichen Meinung nach ist es eines der besten und leckersten Restaurants in Wuppertal. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Viele liebe Grüße Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Ich habe jetzt zum zweiten Mal da bestellt, online. Man bestätigt die Bestellung und man wartet Abend und keiner kommt. Diesmal hatte ich mir das per Telefon bestätigen lassen und man hat zugesagt. Ich finde das schon wirklich frech das man mit einem Kunden so umgeht. Ich verspreche euch,das wird dieses Mal Konsequenzen für euch haben. Zweite Mal sitze ich hier ohne Essen,weil ihr meint nicht zu liefern, Trotz Bestätigung per Email und Telefon. Da nützt auch das scheinheilige nicht,am nächsten Tag wieder auf dumm zu machen. Charma wird euch und das gesamte Pack dafür bestrafen das ihr respektlos seid.

Kann man empfehlen PREIS LEISTUNG stimmt

Ich habe zwei Spenden zum Mitnehmen mitgenommen. Das Hähnchen war so salzig, dass es genießbar war.

Der Heckinghauser Grill ist einfach top! Super leckeres Essen, immer frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich perfekt. Das Fleisch ist saftig, die Portionen sind großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und herzliche Personal vorallem die Chefin :-) – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Wartezeiten sind kurz und die Qualität bleibt konstant hoch. Für mich einer der besten Imbisse in der Gegend. Ich komme immer wieder gerne und kann den Heckinghauser Grill nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Sehr leckeres & qualitatives Essen zu fairen Preisen! Man merkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an die Chefin, die sehr nett und herzlich ist - man fühlt sich immer willkommen! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Lecker und freundliches Personal ABER mittlerweile 7 Euro für ein Döner. Preise in den letzten Jahre verdoppelt. 1.1.2026. Da fahre ich lieber 2km und kaufe mir den Döner für 5 Euro. Das ist auch das Maximum, was ich dafür ausgegeben würde.

Der Heckinghauser Grill ist einfach eine absolute Empfehlung! Die Pizzabrötchen sind mit Abstand die besten weit und breit! Außen knusprig, innen weich und immer perfekt frisch. Auch der Döner und die Pizza sind herausragend: saftig, gut gewürzt und immer in gleichbleibend hoher Qualität. Der Service ist hervorragend schnell, aufmerksam und sehr angenehm. Die Mitarbeiter und das gesamte Team sind unglaublich freundlich und sorgen jedes Mal dafür, dass man sich willkommen fühlt. Ein Laden, in dem man merkt, dass mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Hier stimmt einfach alles!

Vor drei Tagen über Lieferando bestellt zum abholen . Keine paar min aufs Essen gewartet und war sehr gut gewesen . Grüße an den einen Mitarbeiter oder Chef fürs baklava… es war lecker 😋 gestern für zur Lieferung bestellt , Essens mäßig ohne Bestand auch meinem Kumpel hat es geschmeckt wieder mal. Mega freundlich auch der Lieferant . Einzige wirklich ist was aber sicher Gründe hat aber leider noch davon hindert öfters zu bestellen ist der Mindestverzehr , da villt etwas runter schrauben aber ansonsten wirklich top essen und Qualität 🙏

I apparently ordered shortly before closing time, but the food arrived within 20 minutes. I only want to rate this order. 2 x Cheezy Bowls The meat (chicken), which we actually ordered veal for which they charge an extra €1, tasted okay, not mind-blowing but tasted good. The fries were okay. Cheezy, though I didn't find it; it felt like three blobs, that was it. The garlic sauce lived up to its promise, but it overpowered everything. The fries were just fries. The hot sauce was supposedly ketchup? Well, I was really disappointed with the taste, considering the actually very good reviews. But one more point that I find a bit cheeky... We ordered veal for a total of €2 more... we were contacted and told that veal was out and only chicken was available. I confirmed this. I thought the €2 would either be refunded automatically or we'd get a small treat, like a can of Coke...but nothing. So there was no tip either, since they calculated it themselves 😅👍

Hello The schnitzel with hunter's sauce tastes "way too sweet"! It tastes like a sweet and sour Chinese sauce...and that's completely wrong for me when I order hunter's sauce!!! The schnitzel itself was fine. Tip: Don't order hunter's sauce unless you like it sweet!! Otherwise, it's good. P.S.: Please make the hunter's sauce more savory and spicy than sweet and sour. I've always been very satisfied; everything's been delicious. But today, I'm afraid I threw the kebab in the trash. It smelled really disgusting and musty, and unfortunately, it tasted really strange. It's a shame about the wasted money and the almost hour-long wait. The pizza and baguette were good. Still, I probably won't order again.

Very tasty food, definitely stop by

Ordered 3 times, complained 3 times, and received the wrong food 3 times. The app was also incomprehensible! Didn't even get my money back! I advise everyone against it.

We tested the delivery service (for a fee) from Heckinghauser Grill. Result: After waiting for more than an hour, we followed up by phone. The response was curt and unpolite – they were simply busy. The owner didn't offer a single word of regret, nor did he offer any kind of accommodating gesture. Our impression: Our order had probably simply been forgotten. We immediately threw the Heckinghauser Grill advertising flyer we recently pulled out of our mailbox in the recycling bin, as we certainly won't be using the disappointing service of this self-proclaimed "culinary hotspot" again. Overall, we found nothing to complain about with the food we ordered, but nothing to praise either.

Super delicious food. Schnitzel unique and that Shish kebab with the sauce like from mothers. I will become a regular customer here. I'm very satisfied. Fast and friendly delivery.

I've been there again for a long time. The owner has since changed twice. For decades it was Greeks. Nowadays it is Turkish and they sell pitta kebabs instead of gyros. I was a regular customer there until six years ago. Current statement. I bought three kebabs today. The breads have become half the size of the Greeks since the Gyrospita. I'm used to being told exactly how I want my flatbread. I did that too. Except that there wasn't enough tzatziki on a flatbread, everything was fine. It tasted delicious. The meat was also super tasty. However, the next time I order, I have to say that I want a lot of sauce or tzatziki on every kebab. Premier class.

Really very good snack, order there regularly, the food still comes almost hot and is really very tasty! I can only recommend pizza, currywurst, kebab and schnitzel as well as fries, everything is very tasty and the consistency is perfect. It has now become our favorite grill! :)

Difficult, Really good cuisine is different. The meat is somehow not that great but what do you expect. Some employees can't say hello and goodbye either.

One star for the fast delivery, but unfortunately that was the only positive thing. The pizza rolls were burnt on top. The “spicy sauce” was so watery that it spilled all over my hand when I took it - and the plastic container wasn’t properly sealed. The Turkish pizza was an absolute disappointment: no meat, just cold flatbread with salad and sauce - inedible, even when very hungry. Demanding 5.50 euros for this is absolutely not justified. Obviously you have to order the meat separately, which is completely incomprehensible to me. The Margherita pizza was okay, but overall the food was disappointing and I'm still hungry. I will definitely not order here again.

Raw meat!!! Had to make it in the oven at home

It can always happen that you forget something, deliver something incorrectly, etc. We are all only human - but what we experienced yesterday didn't even deserve one star! We had the flyer in our mailbox and wanted to order delicious pizzas and rolls. We placed the order online, but have not yet received a confirmation by email. So we called the snack bar - they confirmed the order and immediately started eating, pointing out that the confirmation always ends up in the spam folder - and that's how it was. The email said delivery would take place after 30 minutes. When we still received nothing after more than an hour, we called again. This time only the owner of the snack bar was there, who was at the checkout. She knew nothing about it and didn't accommodate us in any way (e.g. another delivery on a different day). Unfortunately it was so late that no other snack bar or shop was open. Taking and confirming an order and then not delivering without a word is an absolute no go!

The order went completely wrong. Ordered kebab pizza with salad and sauces. Delivered without salad and sauces. Unfortunately the pizza was unpacked first and then called. Would be processed courteously and the correct one should be delivered. But then the two kebab pockets. Both not as ordered either. This time it went completely wrong. Now I hope that at least the right pizza will be delivered later

The staff is very nice and accommodating, the food is plentiful and VERY tasty. Everything is clean and appetizingly presented, both on the counter and on the plate. Were there for the first time since it's been under this ownership and will definitely continue to try out what's on offer!

The new owner is an absolute joke compared to the old one

Today I went to Heckinghausen again after a year to have something to eat in the best chip shop in the city. I was sad to discover that the owners had changed after decades. Very unfortunate! We briefly considered whether we should go somewhere else to eat, but we thought everyone deserved a chance. There will be one chance, but the result was more than unsatisfactory for both of us. Usually one of us always says it was OK, but this time we agreed. It didn't taste good at all, the first thought of leaving was probably the right one. The pizza was soggy and tasted more like nothing than pizza. The currywurst fries were also something for the trash can. We've both had stomach aches since we ate there, so we definitely don't recommend it. For me this is a prime example of how not to do it, it's a shame that the old owners are gone. And I don't want to say anything about the RNB music that was playing there, it's absolutely unfortunate that such a good store can be trashed so quickly. It will probably take a while until everyone realizes that it's not worth it and then the next ones will come. Too bad

Update (current owner): New look, new people behind the counter, no more gyros but kebab (veal and chicken) 👍. Prices at the acceptance limit. First test with 2 X fries/mayo and currywurst/fries/mayo. Grade 2-3. No more hustle and bustle. New owner after the long-time one: Not recommended. Old owner (long-time): Large portions for little money that also taste good. Friendly people behind the counter. Recommended for a quick snack.

I came across this shop while looking for the opportunity to eat Yaprak kebab (not a rotisserie type mush). I ate 2 delicious kebabs for a reasonable price. Plenty of evidence. The store is very clean and both the employees and the boss were very friendly. I will come back and try other dishes there too.

Today we ordered two kebab plates from the grill for the first time and we are very satisfied. Delivery time was supposed to take 40 minutes, but they arrived early. The delivery person had been there for about 20 minutes and was very polite and the lady on the phone was also very friendly and understood everything straight away. The food tastes excellent and the meat is very tender and fresh. The sauces are very tasty and the rice also tastes great and was really well seasoned. The salad is also very fresh, the quantity is also excellent. We would order there more often from now on.

Ordered for delivery for the first time today. The food was great and there was plenty. I would be happy to order there again and I'm thrilled.

Delivery took over 2 hours, for 2 kebabs and nh kebab plates. Food was cold except for the salad (for whatever reason) and the delivery person sat in the car for half an hour talking on the phone instead of delivering my food.

The kebab was incredibly tasty, nice and crunchy and fresh meat. Simply delicious, I can only recommend it.

Company of 9 people needed lunch. We ordered 9 'large' pizzas and had them delivered. Everything as usual. For the price we were all fed up. Still for delivery: Directly in front of the shop there are rarely free parking spaces, which is almost typical in Wuppertal. But there is sometimes parking around 1 or 2 corners if necessary. That’s why delivery is so important. We will order again.

We are absolutely thrilled 😊 We had two kebabs that were really huge, a Pizza Inferno with a lot of cheese even though I didn't use any extra cheese 😍 and the kids also really liked the spaghetti 😊 would love to do it again 😊

Since the Heckinghauser changed ownership, the food has tasted so good that we regularly order food there, pick it up or eat on site. The owners and all other employees are super friendly and the food is, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, hot and appetizingly prepared. 10/10 from us ♥️

Catastrophe, I hope that many people read it and just kept their hands off it. I would have ordered it after an hour. I called them nicely and Dan told me it would last until 8:30 p.m. so another hour, it would be two hours for a single plate and fries with bratwurst and we live with the car 5.minn so totally cheeky, if you want to eat well, go a little further to Heckin Grill the lifer is not there you can eat delicious food super quality only recommended there because even after They haven't even made an offer for two hours, we're just counting on the help or so just say it's a shame at my heckin grill 500 mm further, if you wait there for a few minutes you get everything for free

So I ordered a pomdöner, a large fries, a currywurst with fries and mayo and a shish kebab with fries. It took an hour and a half for the food to arrive and then it was children's portions. Shish kebab 4 pieces of meat and a handful of fries and with the currywurst it looked exactly the same never again thank you I'm served.

I got a delicious pizza there that could be blessed...Great toppings and the price was also acceptable...Very nice staff...
