The secret of a pub with a venerable tradition is to continue it with attention to detail in the service, the ambience and the taste... unfortunately the Havana of yesterday can no longer compete with the present and a piece of home is lost in the interchangeability of the Oldenburgers Gastroland is sleeping.

Whenever we are in Oldenburg, a visit to Havana is mandatory. Delicious food, good drinks, friendly service, good value for money. Always my pleasure. 👍

A real announcement for many decades

Unfortunately only 4 stars. The service was at times very overloaded, which led to longer waiting times until you were served and the tables were cleared. Otherwise everything else is good. Didn't eat anything, just drank something.

Very nice atmosphere, great, friendly service and delicious food. I always look forward to visiting you when I'm in Oldenburg.

Unfortunately, Havana has noticeably diminished. Very disappointing, especially on Saturday. Limited menu for the Bundesliga (even if the shop was pretty empty) ok, but then the food was only of frozen quality. The negative highlight was that we weren't served at the table, even though several waiters were standing around with nothing to do. It's a shame what Havana has become.

We were at the CL final in Havana a few days ago. It was very busy and a bit confused, but I still think the service did a good job. The people were polite and friendly, which is why the slightly longer waiting times than usual were perfectly fine. Overall, gladly again :)

It's amazing how good reviews can be found here regarding the Champions League final on June 1st, 2024. They don't seem very plausible. Many of those who were there and with whom I stood in the drinks queue for 40 minutes found the service situation to be absolutely catastrophic. The concept works as follows: you first order and pay(!) for your drinks at the service, then you receive a receipt. This is needed to compare the order. What sounds good, but in practice it doesn't work at all in a CL final with German participation. Only two employees were at the tap, and the beer tap was more standing than running - so it gave the impression that the people didn't have much Gsstro experience. The crowd in the queue was in a very bad mood and there was little progress. I have to say that it was my first and last time in Havana so far.

We visited on Saturday for the Champions League final. Even though it was very full, thanks to the nice service we were able to get a table and enjoy a lovely evening!

The atmosphere in the store and especially the friendly staff contributed to a very nice evening of football! Despite the waiting times due to the large number of people, the service and bar staff were in a good mood. Drinks and food were tasty :)

That was a great Saturday. We had fun watching football. Super nice people. The food was very delicious. I will definitely recommend it to everyone

The place is so impressive. Everyone makes you feel like a family. Vry nice ambience and great food.

Overall just bad service. The place was full to capacity and the waiters weren't doing anything except collecting glasses. You will be turned away at the counter. Only the warmed chicken wings could convince.

After so many years, I wanted to go there again today to experience the Werder feeling in football. It was well attended in the separate room. Completely disappointing that I have to pay for my drink at the checkout and collect it. Looks like you're in a fast food restaurant. The good old days are over in this shop, where every table was occupied when Werder played.

If you don't have a reservation, you're not allowed to sit at the window. So the window seats remain free. How stupid is that? There is no light in the toilets - the problem is known and the electrician has been informed. Hopefully he'll come soon. Good for anyone who has a cell phone flashlight with them; The candles placed provide too little light. Guys, can it get any more unprofessional? The pizza and salad were good. The service at the table was quick and friendly

The store is almost empty, we have to order drinks and food at the counter. Next time I'll bring my own bag of frozen fries or frozen pizza. It makes no sense to come here. Really bad

Unfortunately, the acoustics are not good - it is relatively loud - the food is very good and the selection of drinks is also good. The staff is very friendly. Price-performance fits.

Really a very nice place to stop off. The staff was very nice and attentive. My food was very tasty and also plentiful. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that it had to be ventilated a few times and therefore it got a bit cool given the time of year. But that was just a brief moment

War an einem Samstag dort. Das Essen ist für die Qualität etwas hochpreisig. Das Ambiente ist altbacken. Bestimmt seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr renoviert worden. Teilweise Spinnenweben in den Ecken und an den Wänden. Nutzlose Schrauben in den Wänden Staub auf den Kanten der Holzvertäfelung. Wirkte auf mich eher ungepflegt.

Gemütliche Gaststätte mit reichhaltigem Angebot an Speisen und Getränken. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Parkplätze begrenzt vor Ort, jedoch tagsüber gebührenpflichtig. Punktabzug beim Ambiente, weil die Gerüche der halboffenen Küche zu späterer Stunde merklich in den Besucherraum ziehen.

We came unannounced and there was football on so it was somewhat busy, after a long day visiting Oldenburg. We wanted to go next door to eat, but it wasn't open yet. So we wanted to drink here and go eat next door. The guy behind the bar was very nice about it and seated us at a table. So when the other place opened we tried to get a table there, but it was full and the guy at that place was a bit arrogant about it. So won't recommend Bei Franz based on first impression. So we went back in to Havana and the guy seated us at the same table and were very welcome there. The service was great and welcoming. The food was good. It wasn't the best we ever ate but we didn't have to pay a lot either. So price/quality wise it was right on point. I would go there again with the family because of the welcoming atmosphere and the price/quality of the food. Thanks for a good experience.

Lockeres, lebhaftes Ambiente. Buntes Publikum, sympathischer Service und leckere selbstgemachte Rollos vom Brot bis zur Sauce! Wir kommen wieder!!

Gestern Abend hatte ich das Vergnügen, das Havana in Oldenburg zu besuchen, und ich bin restlos begeistert. Der Service war herausragend. Die herzliche Atmosphäre und die aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter trugen dazu bei, dass ich mich rundum wohl fühlte. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Erlebnis, das ich gerne wiederholen werde!

"Havanna" weckt Begehrlichkeiten... Die werden nur durch die Musik im Lokal erfüllt. Speisekarte und Essen sind gute System-Gastronomie. Der Burger ist gut aber durch den massiven Einsatz von Fertigprodukten natürlich nicht perfekt. Gleiches bei der Pizza - Fertigboden teils spannend belegt. Trotzdem insgesamt gut gemacht - netter und schneller Service. Nicht von "Havanna" in die Irre führen lassen 😉 Und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis? Passt! Nette Musik, angenehmes Ambiente... Da komme ich gerne wieder - ohne kubanisches Essen zu erwarten.

Eine wirklich gute Location, um Fußball zu schauen oder auch abends ein paar Drinks zu genießen. Das Essen ist lecker (vom Chili bis zu den Pizzen!) und der Service freundlich.

Finde es schwierig, wenn man reserviert, eine Bestätigung bekommt, dass alles klappt und man ansonsten kontaktiert wird, falls es nicht funktioniert und dann Vorort gesagt bekommt, dass man nicht reservieren kann. Die Kommunikation ist unterirdisch! Online falsche Informationen, am Telefon ist niemand zu erreichen und dann so eine Frechheit an einem Samstag 8 Leute wegzuschicken, obwohl reserviert wurde.

Super nett und freundlich. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker .Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Für jede und jeden etwas dabei: gemütlich sitzen und etwas trinken oder aus der großen Auswahl an Speisen etwas zu essen wählen. Es ist quirlig, die Musik unterstreicht den kubanischen Style, ein sehr interessanter Ort.

We randomly went to the restaurant and it was so good that we returned the next day, even though we were only in the city for a few days. The Rollo and hamburger were really tasty and delicious. They had a variety of beers, most of which we tried. Also, they had well-made cocktails that were very nice - highly recommended! 😊

Das Havana lädt zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Hat immer noch den Charme einer Studentenkneipe. Richtig toll. Essen qualitativ gut bis sehr gut. Riesige Portion. Service herausragend. In einer Studentenkneipe kaum zu erwarten - ohne das negativ zu meinen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Nicht besucht, da kein kostenfreier Parkplatz.

Nicht mehr so wie früher. Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht mehr. Kellner "duzen" jeden , schmutzige Tische auf den Fensterbänken tote Fliegen.

Es war im Innenbereich sehr laut. Neben der üblichen Unterhaltung kam es häufiger zu Scheppern und Klirren aus dem Servicebereich. Eine Kellnerin war entspannt und nett, die andere mürrisch.

Waren das erste Mal dort. Das Ambiente war schön, der Service war freundlich. Leider hat mir mein Cocktail nicht so gut geschmeckt, es befand sich leider zu wenig Alkohol in meinem Long Island Ice Tee, er schmeckte nur nach Cola.

Nettes Lokal mit internationalen Flair. Preis, Leistung ist okay und bei schönem Wetter auch die aussenplätze sehr gut und geschützt .

Es ist schade, dass es bei Sportübertragungen keinen Service mehr gibt.

Tolles Restaurant. Schönes Ambiente. Super leckeres Essen. Der Hamburger ist ein Gedicht. Sehr zu empfehlen. Personal sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Keine Wartezeit bei Getränke. Es wurde immer rechtzeitig nachgefragt. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir sehen uns wieder.

Unsere Location zum Werder gucken ⚽️ Tolle Stimmung, lecker 🍻, 🍕🍔🍟. Wichtig zu wissen: beim Gucken müssen aktuell Getränke und Essen selbst am Tresen geholt werden. Das stört uns allerdings nicht 😉

Top top Cocktails und besonders in der Happy Hours sehr erschwinglich.

Samstag ab 22.30 Uhr. Cocktail Happy Hours 3 Pers. Im Service, sehr nett und bemüht. Hat aber daher nur für 2Cocktails gereicht. Sonst hätte ich das Ersparte fürs Taxi ausgeben müssen. Trotzdem so nett wie immer.

Ein Muss für alle Latinofreunde

Ich persönlich hätte etwas anderes erwartet bezüglich der Auswahl von den Speisen. In der Speisekarte sind die für mich interessanten internationalen Speisen nicht am Wochenende zu bestellen. Frage mich wieso? Sehr schade... Das Essen was ich bekommen habe war in Ordnung. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ich war mit einer Gruppe mit 10 Leuten in diesem Lokal. Anfangs wurde uns wenig Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt, dies besserte sich dann im Laufe des Abends. Zur Fußballzeit ist es hier sehr voll und laut. Ohne Reservierung läuft dann hier nichts. Die Speisen waren recht gut, hat aber Potenzial nach oben.

Samstagabend 20:15 empfang durch die Bedienung freundlich. Danach gings bergab. Bestellung der Getränke um 20:20 .Das danach bestellte Essen war zügig am Tisch und lecker.Rollo sehr lecker.Nach dreimaligem Hinweis auf die ausbleibenden Getränke wurde immer wieder vertröstet und nach 1stunde liessen wir diese dann verärgert zurückgehen. Es gab keine Entschuldigung!!!! Fazit:Samstagabend durch Unfähigkeit verdorben. Nie wieder und nicht zu empfehlen!!!! Leider durch Coronahilfe gerettet.

Tolle Location mit sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre! Leider haben wir eine Stunde aufs sehr leckere Essen warten müssen - es war aber auch viel los.

Wer ein Klassentreffen mitorganisiert hat und am Nachmittag des Treffens (nach einigen kurzfristigen Absagen) einen Anruf vom Lokal bekommt, in dem das Treffen abends stattfinden soll, der ahnt nichts Gutes. In diesem Fall diente der Anruf der Nachfrage, ob wir nicht angesichts des tollen Wetters draußen sitzen wollen. Und ob! Es wurde ein sehr schöner Abend im hinteren Teil des Biergartens. Das Personal hatte uns eine lange Reihe Tische aufgestellt und half dann tatkräftig mit, als wir lieber im Viereck sitzen wollten (der Teil des Biergartens sei für uns und es uns überlassen, wie wir sitzen wollten). Essen war reichlich und lecker (Portionen und Preise größer als früher), regelmäßige Nachfrage, ob wir noch etwas zu trinken haben wollen. Es war ein perfekter Abend unter freiem Himmel mit Füßen im Sand und bestem Service.
