Everyone was very disappointed. No comparison to last year. Fish raw, schnitzel mini and tough as leather. It used to be worth 5 stars, today I would prefer 0 if that were possible. Too bad

You could eat. We got full. We were probably at lunchtime because we had no idea what it was like in the evening. Our waitress brought the Es sen and was gone

My wife and I ate at Haus Portz on Friday. We both ordered a Viennese and a Holsteiner schnitzel, which was also served with a salad. Unfortunately the salad was full of insects. Something that can happen, but is also easily avoidable. We reported it and the waitress apologized. He also offered to serve a new salad, which we politely declined. The decorative salad with the schnitzel was also full of creepy crawlies. We removed it and started eating. My wife had a piece of fried thread (fabric, like from a jacket or towel) between the fried onions. We then showed this to the waitress, who immediately brought the food to the kitchen. A little later she came back and said the fried onion had become too dark. Unfortunately we neglected to take a photo. If it were an onion, you could have left it on the plate. At least an apology would have been appropriate.

Unfriendly service. We wanted to pay by card, but then it cost €10 instead of €5. Idiots!

(The restaurant has its own distinctive charm. The staff is always friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are completely reasonable. I've been going there for over 20 years and have never been disappointed.) Update: Unfortunately, things have gotten worse here. On the last few visits, the service was, well let's say, no longer worth a tip. Every now and then, as a waiter, you should check with other guests who you don't address by name to see if they still have something to drink. The food was unusually miserable, there were röstis on the menu and you were given potato wedges that had been fried to death. Meat wasn't cooked to perfection either. The other meal didn't come with a salad, but you were still allowed to pay for it. If you raise prices, please keep the quality the same. Unfortunately, nothing was right here on the last visit.

Nice place with quick service and delicious food

Had dinner there with my family today and I can only say it was delicious as always. We have eaten there several times and no matter what we ordered, it was always delicious and, above all, plentiful. The service is very nice and friendly and if you want you can see the chef through a window as he prepares the food, which might be interesting for children to watch there. Overall, highly recommended and reasonably priced too. We always enjoy coming here and I can recommend it without a guilty conscience. Keep it up, all thumbs up for me. 👍 👍

Cute and typical Kölsch pub (also serves Alt😉) Decent food, freshly cooked. Rustic atmosphere - I felt very comfortable.

Went there again today after many years. Food plentiful and very tasty. Service was very friendly and on point.

We were there for a family reunion and ate the Holzsteiner Schnitzel with fries. The fried onions were a bit rich but it was really delicious! The service was really friendly and we really liked the place. The toilets were also clean.

If you're looking for good home-style cooking, this is the place for you. Fast service good beer. Homemade >food.

Pound of asparagus (not a gram cheated) with potatoes €20. Brauhaus Schnitzel with ham & cheese gratinated, large fries and side salad. Only possible for lumberjacks. Congratulations. Whether it's a quick beer or a well-groomed meal. LG

My father and I were guests at Haus Portz today. My father is in a wheelchair and entrances with steps are very inconvenient. The friendly employee didn't see any problem and brought my father inside with his wheelchair... Very warm and customer-friendly. The men's plate is highly recommended and the ambience of this restaurant invites you to linger longer.

Friendly, correct service and fast.

The service was very friendly and looked after us at regular intervals (there were 4 people). Each of us ordered something different (schnitzel, vegetarian, fish and seasonal food) and everything was very tasty and everyone enjoyed it. A great inn!

The food was excellent and a very large portion. The service staff were friendly and very attentive. However, you should book a table in advance. Kudos to the kitchen. Keep it up.

Es handelte sich um das Adventsessen eines Vereins. Im dafür vorgesehenen Raum im 1. Stock war nicht der Hauch einer Weihnachtsdeko zu sehen. Ein Tannenzweig mit Äpfeln und Nüssen hätte sich gut gemacht.

Sehr leckeres Essen und netter Service

Rheinischer Sauerbraten war sehr schmackhaft und reichhaltig. Leider war die Bedienung noch nicht auf Bedienung eingestellt. Als wir wegen eines unkühltem Mineralwassers fragten war die Dame so unfreundlich als ob wir die Zeche prellen wollten.

Gutbürgerliches Restaurant, gut für Liebhaber großer Portionen, gutbürgerliche Küche. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis angemessen.Schöne Lage im Herzen der kleinen City, Brauhaus Ambiente.wir hatten Pfifferlingpfannkuchen und Haxe, Portionen sehr sehr reichhaltig, für uns zu viel, sehr schmackhaft

Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnisstimmt. Bei Events allerdings zu wenig Personal, wobei sich das Anwesende wirklich bemüht und auch flott ist.

Das Essen war soweit gut, aber der Service war schlecht. Eine schlecht gelaunte Kellnerin die auf ein nachbestelles Gericht für einen Nachzügler mit einem brummen reagierte. Die Bitte nach einem Wassernapf für den Hund wurde abgelehnt mit der Begründung "da" würde ein Napf stehen den kann sie nicht an den Tisch geben. Das "da" war in der Ecke hinter der offenen Tür und mit einem Stuhl zugestellt. Ich war bis jetzt in keinem Restaurant wo uns noch kein Wasser für die Hunde gegeben wurde. Meistens sogar bevor ich danach fragen konnte. Gutes Essen alleine reicht halt nicht aus.

Tatsächlich sind die Stühle draußen überraschend schmal und leider auch recht unbequem. Das Personal war nicht direkt unfreundlich, aber da ist schon deutlich Luft nach oben. Das Essen hat lange gebraucht und war in Ordnung, die Portionen haben eine gute Größe. Die Damentoilette war in keinem guten Zustand.

Haben bei sonnigen Wetter draußen gegessen. Der Service war gut, das Essen sehr lecker und schnell ging es auch noch. wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir sind spontan mit einer Gruppe von 12 Leuten eingekehrt. Getränke kamen nach der Bestellung sehr zügig, das Essen war auch nach der Bestellung flott und für alle zeitgleich am Tisch, trotz der vielen unterschiedlichen Bestellungen!!! - Danke an den Koch, denn er hatte gut zu tun in der Küche, denn heute war Citylauf in GV. Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋 und extra Wünsche wurden erfüllt...VIEL MAYO🤣. Unsere Kellnerin Alona war auch auf Zack - vielen Dank auch an Sie!🙋‍♀️ Wir kommen gerne wieder...Spätestens zum nächsten Citylauf!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Uriges Brauhaus. Wir nutzen für Stammtische oder Vereinssitzungen gerne die separaten Räume im Obergeschoss. Netter Wirt, gutes Personal, solides leckeres Essen und frisch gezapftes Bier. Dazu zentral gelegen. Wir fühlen uns wohl.

Gutes Essen, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Muscheln müssen in der Saison mit zwei Tagen Vorlauf bestellt werden.
