Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food is delicious, but the portions are unfortunately far too small.

We had lunch outside on Sunday and everything was to our complete satisfaction!

We went there with our regular US car group. Highly recommended. The food is delicious, especially because they don't just serve the same old stuff. A lot of it comes from the smoker or the grill! The glazed spare ribs are divine. I have to try more of them. Very friendly welcome, courteous and attentive service, delicious food. The ambiance is tasteful and modern, and the outdoor area is also very inviting. There were about 20 of us there, but the food still came quickly. There are also special offers in the winter, for example, like kale dinners. We'd love to come back!

House in the Countryside Inconspicuously located in an allotment garden – but without a trace of a clubhouse atmosphere: Here you'll find barbecue at its finest! In summer, the cozy beer garden beckons, a true oasis for relaxation. We love being here. Tip: Be sure to make a reservation if the weather is good! The food is consistently delicious, and the kitchen is always trying new things – so it's best to check the website beforehand. Especially recommended: arguably the best ribs in Hanover! Seasonal highlights like chanterelle mushrooms and kale round out the offerings.

We visited here for the first time as part of a private party. They offered a barbecue buffet. It was consistently appetizing and delicious! The staff were calmly professional, despite the crowds. We would definitely be happy to come back!

Great location for parties! Excellent catering, pulled pork, ribs, burgers, and vegan options too... Everything was delicious. Great service. It was a real treat!

🍔🍟 Perfect for unwinding and enjoying yourself 🥗🥩 We love eating at Haus im Grünen. Less than three minutes from the busy Weidetor roundabout, this lovely restaurant boasts a very peaceful atmosphere. The service is always super friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious, and the value for money is also good!

We were very rudely sent away, supposedly because all the seats were reserved! (2 people for dinner). Half the tables were free, with no reserved signs anywhere! Three-quarters of an hour later, we drove by again out of curiosity, and it was still half empty! Why the unfriendly landlady lies to her guests, brushes them off, and shows the opposite of hospitality remains her secret. Addendum: Two years later, another attempt revealed: this landlady has become even more unfriendly, inhospitable, moody, and bossy! While I was served there nicely a week earlier with a man, now my daughter and I were rudely asked to leave, saying we wouldn't get anything else there and should leave immediately!!!! Her chance to revise the impression we had two years ago was over. She has a lot of trouble with the truth that I wrote in the review! She rates the guests; not everyone gets served there! Do you even have to put up with being yelled at for wanting to spend money there? There's a lot wrong here; even the waitress was stunned by the landlady's behavior! Fortunately, there are plenty of other lovely restaurants that offer the opposite: hospitality where you're welcome, served in a friendly, polite, respectful, and charming manner, and are happy to leave your money behind!

We were invited to a birthday dinner today. Our experience remains very positive. The staff's instructions are sometimes very direct and clear for a restaurant. We'd still be happy to come back: My historic first review: We enjoyed a very delicious meal. Highly recommended. Friendly service. The location is a bit hidden.

If you are looking for a real US BBQ in Hanover, you will find it here. Burnt ends, beef fingers, BBQ bombs, pulled pork, ribs… super good and great sauces. The boss knows what he is doing. The service was very attentive, quick and friendly. Clear recommendation. We'll be back!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, service and ambience. We wanted to eat something here with our two children and our dog. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in this location. Too bad!

Super nice host, super nice waitresses. First-class food, especially the apulled pork and spare ribs were excellent. We were there twice during the trade fair. After we didn't get anything to eat on the first visit, the landlord Sparerips made a reservation for us for the second visit. A big thank you for that. It's nice to sit inside and out. I'll come by again at the next trade fair.

Best beer garden in Hanover and I say in Germany. Always on a Sunday afternoon or even in the Week to switch off from work. When we are there with friends from all over Germany, most of them can't believe that something like this still exists. Tip order the currywurst the best on the planet.😃

A hidden gem in the countryside! I recently had the pleasure of eating at this charming little restaurant surrounded by greenery and it was a wonderful experience! As soon as you arrive you feel like you are in another world, surrounded by nature and a wonderfully quiet atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. The menu offers a great selection of fresh, regional dishes that are prepared with great attention to detail. We were particularly impressed by the homemade specialties - you can tell that people cook with passion here. The service was also first class: friendly, attentive and very accommodating without being intrusive. The waitresses and waiters took the time to explain the dishes to us and gave great recommendations. For anyone who wants to escape everyday life and eat well in a relaxed environment, this restaurant is a real insider tip. I will definitely come back and can only recommend it to everyone! **Conclusion:** A must for all connoisseurs who appreciate a break in the countryside!

Hello Mr Röhl, the days of Mitropa are over and flexibility is different. If the restaurant is fully booked there should be alternative options if you have the capacity like they do.

Everything is chic and nice but the fact that you can't get anything to eat in the beer garden is crazy. Even if the restaurant is fully booked, no chance. The boss is bossy and comes across as unfriendly. Card payments only start at 25 euros, which you have to do as a single guest. Ok for those who just want to drink, but otherwise not really recommended.

This place is great. There are only about a dozen tables and the setup is simple. But the service is excellent, the homemade food is really tasty and the background music is great. The staff were very accommodating even though we didn't stick to opening hours, and the big plus for me was that the toilets were clean and well maintained. Fantastic. As Arnie said: “I’ll be back”

Very nicely located, especially well prepared outside, in keeping with the name. Small menu with rather hearty dishes. But there is also salad and a vegetarian dish. Changing Sunday menu with different themes. We love to come .

I'm very happy that there is this small, cozy restaurant in the neighborhood, with a beer garden in the warmer months. A clear but fine menu, a separate small menu on Sundays - and occasionally seasonal culinary highlights. And it's always delicious!

Wir waren zu 10t da und hatten entsprechend schon länger vorher telefonisch reserviert. Bei der Reservierung wurde mir gesagt, dass bei größeren Gruppen nur zwischen 3 verschiedenen Gerichten aus der Karte gewählt werden sollte, damit die Küche die Bestellung zu unserer Zufriedenheit verarbeiten kann bzw. das Essen auch relativ gleichzeitig kommt. Das hatte gut geklappt. Ein Wunsch aus meiner Gruppe nach einem 4., vegetarischen Gericht konnte ausnahmsweise auch erfüllt werden, weil nicht so viel los war aufgrund des wechselhaften Wetters. Somit war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit! Wir konnten erst draußen sitzen und als dann leider doch Regen kam, nach drinnen umziehen. Die Bedienungen waren nett und aufmerksam, das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt (wir hatten Burger, Rippchen und Currywurst). Die Getränkeauswahl bietet auch für alle Wünsche etwas, z. B. auch ausgefallenes wie Limoncello Sprizz. Nachspeisen waren auch kein Problem und lecker. Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Dass prinzipiell nur 3 verschiedene Gerichte möglich sind, ist ein kleines Manko, das aber wett gemacht wird durch den guten Geschmack und das schöne Ambiente, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen!

Wir hatten vorweg Vittello Tonato. Danach Burrato und Lasagne. Zum krönenden Abschluss Limoncellotiramisu. Alles sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war super nett. Ein sehr gelungener Spätnachmittag.

Gemütliches Gartenlokal mit guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Die Burger und Rippchen sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren im Spätsommer dort. Ein Uriges Restaurant mit Biergarten. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber das darin angebotene Essen ist lecker. Getränke gibt es der dem Ambiente entsprechend incl. specials (Dunkles Bier mit Kirschen) Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch bei der offensichtlichen allgegenwärtigen Unterbesetzung sehr aufmerksam. Kommen also gerne wieder.

Wir haben ca. 2 Std. vorher reserviert und uns wurde zugesichert das wir einen Tisch bekommen. Die Reservierung war angebracht, da alle Tische während unseres Aufenthaltes dort belegt waren. Es bedienen 3 Damen dort. Unsere Getränkebestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen, wir hatten auch schon ein Essen ausgewählt, jedoch wurden wir vertröstet das die Essensbestellung etwas später aufgenommen wird. Weir warteten............, nach einer guten halben Stunde machten wir uns wieder bemerkbar, denn so langsam knurrte uns doch der Magen. Gäste die nach uns kamen, bestellten ihr Essen und bekamen es auch. Irgendwann waren wir dann doch etwas energischer. Nun kam die Servicekraft und entschuldigte sich auch für die lange Wartezeit, mit der Begründung das doch viel los ist. Unser Essen war lecker als es kam. Wir haben aufgegessen und weil es schon sehr spät war baten wir um die Rechnung. Das ging dann auch zügig. Es wurde sich nochmals entschuldigt für die lange Wartezeit.

Super Sache. Es waren alle Tische reserviert und wir haben trotzdem Platz bekommen. Einsame Spitze! Es waren alle super nett und unter den kindergerichten gab es eine super Auswahl und ich konnte mich kaum entscheiden. Es war super lecker. Weiter so!
