Haus Dörnemann in Gladbeck

We were here for the first time and spontaneously wanted to try it out on Friday evening. Luckily we got a small table for two without a reservation. The ambience is a bit cool, like the draft when the front door is opened. Unfortunately, the food (burger platter) didn't meet our expectations, but as we all know, that's purely a matter of taste. The service is nice, courteous and attentive, for which we get 5 stars.

A little more expensive. Big portion. Parking difficult. Nice polite friendly. I think there is a small selection of dishes. Schnitzel pork champions..20 euros. With salad and fried potatoes. 2 schnitzels well seasoned in my opinion. That's important to me. Real mushrooms fresh mushrooms. Homemade dressing. I would say with Dijon mustard. With over 10 people, we didn't have to wait long. Big from the kitchen. A triplet with herbal quark. . I don't like quark but this was great. Well seasoned and creamy.

It's clean, the service is friendly and the vegetarian/vegan dishes are delicious. I'd love to come back.

It's not often that you find such a great, rustic pub with live music and the currywurst is exceptional, as are the schnitzels 👍🏽
