Haus Diel Pizzeria & Restaurant in Duisburg

Unfortunately, I was severely harassed by customers as I walked past last night. Next door to a Rewe supermarket is where I left while still wearing my mask (there are plenty of reasons why you might want or need to). This bothered a man outside so much that he felt the need to shout insulting and threatening remarks at me. Since I had no desire to justify myself or express my opinion about his behavior (an escalation would probably have been unavoidable in his condition), I moved on. If the restaurant is frequented by such clientele, I unfortunately have absolutely no temptation to ever spend time there myself. I can only hope that young women aren't regularly being threatened in the dark, and that this man is an absolutely disgusting exception, but if such people are welcome, then as a restaurant, you're shooting yourself in the foot for many other groups.

Unfortunately, there's no food here, even though the website says they do. Apparently, the owner doesn't care about the website. It's disappointing if you've come here from the hotel just for that! So – not recommended, a shame.

why weren't Hartz and Herzlich there yet, throwing firecrackers through the street and fighting almost every weekend

I've been visiting this place since 2021, where I've met lots of really nice new people. Haus Diele is a great place, just like the owner and staff.

I haven't been here for a while because the previous bar staff really disappointed me. For example, they simply kept 20 cents without me saying anything. Sure, it's only 20 cents, but that was cheeky. I was back yesterday after a long time and I have to say that Cora was really refreshing and super nice as a bar staff member. Definitely keep her, you'll gladly drink 2-3 more.

The food is good, the service is very friendly and prompt. Karina is the best. She's a fantastic woman. The music is always changing. The restrooms could be a bit cleaner, but that's just because the place is getting old.

Nix gutes , Chef unfreundlich, Essen lecker aber sehr schlaf gewuerzt und wenn man reklamiert wird gemeckert.Getraenke zu teuer.

Des öfteren war die Toilette unten verstopft, es lief das Wasser über. Die Bahn müsste erneuert werden.
