Haus des Döners in Bochum

Für mich persönlich einer der besten Döner! Die Saucen schmecken top, das Fleisch ist saftig und zart, das Brot außen schön knusprig und innen weich. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und durchweg freundlich! Ich kann’s sowohl vor Ort, als auch als Bestellung empfehlen. Essen kam immer gut temperiert an!

Als ich dort essen war vor einiger Zeit, lag vor dem Tresen eine halbtote Ratte oder Maus. Aus dem Kühlraum kamen auch komische Geräusche die darauf schließen lassen könnten, dass das kein Einzelfall gewesen sein könnte.

Das Essen war wirklich gut, nur mit dem Kundenservice war ich überhaupt nicht zufrieden.

Ich war heute mit meinen Jungs dort essen. Es war alles super frisch und Lecker. Der Service war Top. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Hab über Lieferando bestellt, Essen war zwar schnell da aber mein dürüm kam komplett kalt an. Der von meiner Freundin allerdings war komplett warm. Ich rufe also dort an und erzähle dem personal was mir widerfahren ist.. „Was erwartest du von mir jetzt was ich mache“ Habe absolut kein Verständnis dafür. Geht dort nicht essen absolute Katastrophe!

Ein sehr sauberes und leckeres Restaurant. Ein sehr schönes Lokal, geeignet für Familien.

Das Essen schmeckt richtig gut es ist sehr sauber die Sitzplätze sind ordentlich. Ich bin immer hier jeden Tag seitdem sie geöffnet haben und ich kann nur sagen, dass es perfekt ist.

Hatte heute Döner echt teuer wenig Fleisch geschmacklich fand ich es für nicht überhaupt nicht gut Döner war lauwarm Soßen schmeckten nicht das ist das wichtigste aber viel viel zu teuer dafür

Der leckerste Kebab, den ich je gegessen habe, und das Shawarma ist fantastisch.

Völlig überteuert und es schmeckte nicht! Viel zu wenig Fleisch und nur etwas Salat für 9.50 Euro.Da gehe lieber wieder 100 meter weiter zu meinem Dönermann.

Wir haben das Restaurant mehrmals besucht; die Atmosphäre war angenehm und das Essen gut.

Ohne viel reden, bester Döner Bochums.

The doner kebab was okay, but it didn't exactly blow me away; just an average doner, in my opinion. My wife agrees. There are no restrooms. It's very noisy in the small shop. The doner was prepared quickly. I thought there was a bit too little meat and a lot of vegetables; in my opinion, it could have used a bit more sauce. All in all, if you want something quick and filling, you can go here again.

This Döner place is great! The cooks are hilarious. Their spicy (scharfe) sauce is very spicy. Definitely also try their (tsatsiki-like) Knoblauch sauce. They want you to pay after eating.

I ate a doner kebab last night and then the stomach pains started. I feel incredibly nauseous and deeply regret going there. I don't recommend it.

Nothing special. Just your average Berlin-style doner kebab. Prices are exorbitant. But the kicker is that they put old kebab sticks back on the grill in the evenings.

Seriously, guys, that's pathetic. I know things have sunk awfully low in Germany, but honestly, put in a little more effort, guys. We're paying for this, €8.50 for a doner kebab with fries for my nephew, and there was maybe 100 grams of meat in it. To just fob off a little 12-year-old boy like that with a bit of meat is unacceptable, guys. Shame on you!

The food was delicious for takeout, the taste was truly excellent. However, the parking situation in Bochum city center is very poor, which makes picking up the food unnecessarily difficult. The service was disappointing. I wanted to order fries and nuggets for my children. Only after I saw that there were children's boxes available did I order them. When I asked the server why he hadn't offered them to me directly, he simply replied that he didn't know himself. This came across as unprofessional. Food good, service unfortunately needs improvement.

Food was great. Service was superb. But there were mice running around in the restaurant. I saw it with my own eyes.

So the store doesn't see me. First I'm not served, then someone walks past me and is served immediately. Unbelievable!

Mmmmmmhhhhhhh, delicious chicken doner kebab

One of the best chicken meat I've had in Germany. They use completely separate set of tools for beef and chicken which further maintains the hygiene. 10/10

Not great – I didn't order anything because the menu on the video screens kept changing and showing random kebab videos instead of a simple list of what you could order. Unnecessary and not customer-friendly.

For me it is the best donner place in Bochum! Really like the different sauces and the quality of food. Totally recommended.

I was surprised how incredibly good the salad wrap is here. Incredibly fresh and delicious! Plus, it's huge and reasonably priced.

Great! It looks absolutely delicious! We're going to go there to eat, but it looked so good. My husband was also very pleased and praised it highly.

It was sooo good, and i couldn't even finish the whole dürüm so its worth the money you pay! And even though it was late, the meat was freshly cooked. Definitely will eat there again!

Just been there, we had two doner kebabs and a doner kebab box with fries. Great sauces (we haven't had such delicious sauces in a long time) and delicious meat. Our first time at Haus des Döners, and we'll definitely be back. Oh, and the guys are super nice too. 5 stars! 🥳

Delicious, and the portions are large

I'm a passionate doner kebab lover and can say that the chicken doner is the best in Bochum. However, the meat ratio in the doner has been bothering me lately. Until last year, the doner was quite generously filled, but now I have to say that it seems to be filled haphazardly. Suggestion for improvement: Weigh the meat and offer it in portions like 180g, 210g, etc. Then the doner would always contain the same amount, and no one could complain. That's the only reason I can't give it 5 stars.

I currently work in the city center and I really enjoyed eating here. The food is good and the service too. I paid 7 euros for the Pomdöner for the first time. The third one cost €7.50 which I simply accepted and the fifth one suddenly cost €8.00. I felt really embarrassed. What do you want to make of that? Inflation increase in a week or...I think I won't eat here anymore. Because of the way money is generated here.

I asked whether it was doner meat or rotisserie meat, and was met with puzzled faces. I then left without ordering.🤷🏻‍♂️

Best halloumi dürüm & veal kebab!!!!

Solid piece. The kebab lives from its sauces.

A kebab plate was eaten without fries, mixed meat, herbs and garlic sauce. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. The store is clean and makes a welcoming impression. The meat was both juicy and good, the spices are intense, a little more of the meat's own flavor wouldn't hurt, but in combination with salad and sauces it was a well-rounded dish. The sauces taste good but are very fatty, some people like it, I prefer slightly lighter sauces. You can definitely eat a delicious kebab plate here. The price matched the portion size and was 4 euros cheaper than a nearby restaurant that I had previously tried.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the reviews regarding the price and the amount of meat. The amount of meat was so manageable that I actually ended up with kebab bread without any filling. And then including Ayran 9 euros. Sorry, but I really don't see that anymore.

I love this kebab! No matter whether veal or chicken. Lots of flavor because it's well seasoned. The ratio of meat to salad is good. I always just use the hot sauce and it goes bang. Staff is friendly. Always happy again.

Very unfriendly staff. Furthermore, cash is collected using the same gloves that your food is served with. Yummy! Greasy banknotes were printed into my hand by greasy gloves and then my kebab was touched. I was with you many times, that was the very last time.

Normal skewer, nothing special. The sauces are quite tasty, but very sweet.. What really excited me is the portion. A year ago, the kebab was cheaper and you couldn't fold it because it was full. The way it has to be. When I saw how little meat was being put in, I intervened and said I would like more. And I also asked for a little more about the sauce. Zack, I was charged the max price. We paid over 22 euros for 2 kebabs and two small canned drinks. And then I was just so full. Rip off. If something becomes more expensive, the portion should not become smaller. The kebab has to be packed full. With meat and not with onions...

The kebab was really good. What I particularly liked was that there was the spice sumac and you could also add pomegranate syrup for free. The bread was too crusty for me. I prefer homemade soft kebab bread. But that's a matter of taste :-) The service was friendly and quick. The price-performance ratio was completely fine.

I came here for the mixed reviews, I decided to give a chance. However, I was greatly dissapointed: The place looks clean and organised, and the personnel hardworking. Nevertheless, the lack of empathy of the seller that receives people is a downside: he does not treat you as a client but like a sort of plague that comes for eating. Regarding the food, as many complain about the "döner" I ordered fries and sausages (Pommes und Würst) and they were absolutely terrible. Firstly, the prices was one euro more than other places and the amount of fries were sad. Second, the fries had really bad texture (as they were really old) so they overfried to hinder this making them hard and brown. Third, I clearly said with sausage but the guy gave the takeaway with no sausage so I ordered it back and I have to wait double the time.

In the evening after going to the cinema, ordered a kebab box: “No fries please, if it’s more expensive, just calculate.” “Okay, should I put some onions on it?” “Yes, as far as I’m concerned, a few onions are fine.” Seen in the photo: “Pair of onions” There were 5-6 slices of kebab on there... unfortunately I only saw it too late and didn't feel like going back and having a discussion on this cheap level. Just to take a bite out of the meat, such a cheap number. Paid €10 for this. That's not how catering works. You will still notice that.

The kebab is very tasty and fresh. With the grains on the bread, the sauce that is spread, it tastes great.

Falafel was relatively average in taste and a little expensive in terms of price. All in all I can't recommend him

So first the positive: the kebab has a good portion size and the bread was crispy. Now the negative: The bread is standard goods. Not baked myself. Unfortunately the chicken meat was just standard. Rather greasy and gristly. Salad ok, tzatziki comes from wholesalers. Bucket goods. Not homemade, tastes more artificial. I wouldn't go there a second time because of the kebab.

The “Haus des Döner” is absolutely recommended! The kebab was extremely tasty, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. And very important: Don't forget to try the "Kebab with everything" - it's simply unbeatable!

Me and my husband got food poisoning after this kebab!!! Absolutely not recommended as you can tell mass production is not worth the price. Never again.

The kebab was very dry, the sauces were forgotten. The meat was more cold than warm.. (consumed on site)! It was really less than a standard kebab, maybe I was just unlucky but the kebabs that were made after me looked much better 😄

Really a solid kebab house. The sauces make the difference here. I don't recommend the minced skewer, but rather try chicken. Price-performance is okay, the overall package is definitely reminiscent of a Berlin-style kebab! The only problem: the music is really too loud and very annoying.

This kebab house has the best chicken kebab. For comparison, Haus des Döner in Herne is worlds better. At first I thought that all stores had to be the same but an employee told me that each store can choose their meat from where or what brand they order.

Some anti-social staff who take pleasure in the suffering of others. I had ordered these but withdrew them after 1 out of 3 made fun of someone's suicide attempt. Work colleague had a de-escalating effect (that's the only positive thing I can say)

It's a really nice shop, the kebabs are full of fresh salad/vegetables (I think it's quite good), the sauces are just perfect, the staff are very nice and friendly. But the meat doesn't taste like veal! and has too little fat (from animals). I think a little bit of beef bacon would be a very good solution 🤞

Great Döner, Not the friendliest but I was also there pretty late. Music is also pretty bad and loud but that's subjective.

It shouldn't happen that you only put half as much meat in your kebab as usual or with others, but it can happen. However, when asked about it, to claim it was normal is not only cheeky but simply a blatant lie.

Veal well seasoned. Fresh salad. Guys were super friendly. Unfortunately I can't enjoy the tzatziki sauce. Very sweet and tastes super artificial. The tables and seats are smeared with greasy fingers, which actually shows that they are not wiped/cleaned regularly. Furnishings rather loveless.
