Hatay Restaurant in Schongau

At first glance, the restaurant appears completely unassuming. The interior is decorated with love, passion, and warmth, and the owners welcome guests with great warmth. The food is delicious. Anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Turkish cuisine… and that doesn't just consist of doner kebabs 😏… is in good hands here. Excellent value for money, top-notch service, and, for me personally, always important: short waiting times, and the outside area, even the restrooms, is spotlessly clean! Thank you very much!

The decor is actually quite good and, for a kebab shop, quite nice. But that's exactly the problem. Apart from a few appetizers and a Turkish dish, there's unfortunately nothing different to any other kebab shop. The service was friendly, but you had to wait forever to pay, or at some point, you weren't even noticed anymore. Hopefully, they decide to focus on grilling, etc. Otherwise, unfortunately, it's not really worth a visit anymore.

We stopped at Hatay for lunch while passing through and were very satisfied. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, and the service was friendly and authentic. We chose two doner kebab plates plus drinks and were very satisfied. A fresh, crisp salad with a herb and oil dressing served on a large platter with meat, fries, and your choice of sauce. We haven't had such a good doner kebab plate in a long time :-) Thank you!

From the moment you enter the restaurant, you feel welcomed, as if you were visiting good friends. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and simply puts you at ease. The team is incredibly attentive, friendly, and always has a genuine smile on their faces; you can immediately tell that the work here is done with love. The food? A dream! Every plate looks like a small work of art, and the taste exceeds all expectations. Fresh ingredients, perfectly matched, and you can taste that this isn't just cooking, but conjuring up something with heart. ❤️ I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for a place that spoils you with good food and even better service, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back.

Lately, I've been going to this little restaurant more and more often with my son, and I'm thrilled with the absolutely best pizza in the entire district! In addition to the excellent pizza, there are also other delicious dishes, and the very friendly and attentive service really deserves 6 out of 5 stars!

Delicious! The restaurant outperforms some Turkish restaurants in major German cities. The only dish that was missing from the menu to be perfect is "Beyti" (it's not traditionally Turkish, but it's just too delicious!)

I'm there for the first and last time... They didn't take care of me, they didn't clean up the table either... The food was, well, that's how it goes... I just find it very sad.

So I went there based on a recommendation and was so curious... But one thing I can say is that I was very disappointed and shocked - the food tasted great, so to be honest it wasn't for me. The service was extremely slow and unfriendly, I didn't feel comfortable there... And the sad thing was there was no black tea... Well I don't recommend it to anyone... There was a daily special and they even said they didn't have it...

Attractive, modern, clean ambience to feel good. Very nice hosts, a chef who knows his craft and enjoys it. Very humane prices considering today's times... Great pizza, fresh salads, nice Turkish cuisine. All in all very harmonious and appealing, definitely worth a visit again at any time! Recommended, thank you for the good hospitality!

We like to eat here. You can tell someone enjoys cooking here and only uses excellent ingredients. No matter whether it's pizza or really good Turkish dishes. Everything really tastes good here. Friendly and kind people run the restaurant

We had a pide, a turkey skewer, a mixed plate and a freshly baked bread. Everything was super tasty and beautifully prepared! The service was also excellent and super friendly! We would love to come back 🙂

The food was good, the prices are fair, the place has a nice aesthetic, the service is pretty good, the workers are nice, only one thing I would maybe change is the cheese on the pizzas, it's good but It's a little dried out even if the pizza is fresh, but overall it has a good taste. The experience was pretty good.

If you want to eat something other than a kebab and try out the variety of Turkish cuisine, this is the right place for you. We had an Adana plate, pizza and an Adana Dürüm. The meat was tender and juicy and the side dishes were very tasty and the wood-fired pizza was as tasty as an Italian restaurant. The location is also very nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

Die beste Pizza weit und breit. Steinofenpizza wie in Italien. Gehe gerne dort essen da ich immer nett bedient werde und das Essen immer schmeckt. Fahre extra von Landsberg immer nach Schongau um hier zu essen. Weiter so…

Super leckere Gerichte (klassische türkische Küche mit selbstgemachtem Pita etc.) und sehr freundliches Personal. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Auch die Pizzen schmecken lecker.
