Super good service and very good food!

Hensen is always an experience...it's a former brewery that's been converted into a restaurant. Very original, and the food is delicious 😋 Burgers, tacos, lasagna, etc. Parking is 100 meters away, with a few parking spaces in front.

In short - it was really great! Apart from the ambience, the service staff also ensured a successful evening. In my opinion, the beer is above average and a MUST if you eat at Hasengange. The dishes also impressed with their diversity. The menu is unique and cannot be compared to other breweries. You can also simply taste the love and passion that is in this restaurant. Thank you very much, I look forward to next time!

I was here for the first time. the atmosphere was very dark and we sat in the draft. The burger was quite good, but fries had to be ordered separately. It was quite expensive for what we were offered. Be that as it may, it was okay, but I don't know yet whether it'll be enough to come back.

We have come here very often. The food is always fresh and very tasty! Of course the beer too😋. I love the burgers and the lasagna - and we always have the chipotle tacos as an appetizer. The atmosphere is very cool and in summer you can sit outside. You can also order and pick up here, and we have only had positive experiences here too.

We were here with a larger group for a birthday and had a really nice evening. The rustic atmosphere is very cozy, the food was great - especially the pulled pork burger I had was tender and really tasty. The others were also completely satisfied with their dishes. Despite the full house, everything went quickly and the service was very friendly and attentive. Clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

The Hasengange in Mönchengladbach impresses across the board with excellent food and excellent service. The dishes are creative, perfectly prepared and taste a real highlight. The quality of the ingredients and the attractive presentation also leave nothing to be desired. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive - exactly what you would want in an upscale restaurant. A small drawback, however, are the rooms, which could be designed to be a little brighter and more inviting. The atmosphere seemed a little gloomy in places, which slightly clouded the otherwise overall positive impression. The restaurant is in the upper price segment, which is justified given the high quality - but it should be borne in mind that a visit here is not a bargain. Overall, Hasenbande is an absolute recommendation for anyone who values ​​exceptional cuisine and excellent service. If you don't mind the somewhat dark rooms, you'll definitely have a special evening here.

We can only recommend the Bunny Gang. The food is very tasty. It is served hot. The burger as well as the sumo chicken and the nachos. There was extra chicken because the chef thought the portion was too small. The waiter asked if the fries were hot. The service is extremely attentive and quick without being intrusive. You can tell that every employee enjoys their job. Here we enjoy working in a customer-oriented manner. We'll definitely be back.

Is in an old brewery and individually furnished! Class 👍 No book as a menu, but all dishes are homemade!! French fries Bolognese 😋 is particularly worth mentioning.

We were at the Hasengange with a larger group on a busy Friday evening. Service staff is friendly, approachable and quick. We had the table buffet and everything tasted very good. Plenty of choice and everyone was more than full. I'm not a beer drinker, but my colleagues didn't seem dissatisfied with their beers. But I was very happy with the cocktails. The only drawback: it was relatively loud in our corner. At times people barely understood each other at the table. Overall everything was clean. Toilets in good condition.

We were there last Friday and celebrated a colleague's birthday. And it was really great there, the food was delicious. And the service was very nice and accommodating. I can only warmly recommend it. It won't be the last time there. We were particularly impressed by the delicious burgers.

Beer garden: Nice place in Waldhausen at times when there is not much car traffic in the evenings and on weekends. Inside at any time of the year and regardless of time.

When it's warm outside, it's hard to bear indoors. Sitting comfortably is different but the service is great and the salads are great, but quite expensive. You have to park somewhere in the area.

Delicious burgers. When the weather is nice, sit outside under umbrellas. Unfortunately, ordering (food online/drinks from the waiter) takes some getting used to.

So I was at the Hensen brewery with my wife and brother-in-law. We sat outside and were there just after 6pm on a Tuesday. The weather was perfect (almost 30 degrees, sun). I was looking forward to a delicious beer. The menu is extensive and I think there is something for everyone. The ambience is right. It's really comfortable to sit outside, despite the street. So actually you can't complain, yes if not... We had chicken teriyaki burgers. The whole thing was delicious, but the price is borderline for chicken breast with a burger bun and fries. (17.90 euros). You can then pay up to 2 euros for a French fries sauce. I also know that everything has become more expensive, but I found that more than borderline. You can't justify it with higher costs either. But that wasn't it. When I found out what they were charging me for a 0.4 liter beer, I was almost speechless. 5 euros for a 0.4 l glass of beer is cheeky and outrageous. I thought we bought shares. This is more expensive than at the Oktoberfest in Munich. We are here in the provinces. If you like it, here you go. But with the prices you can unfortunately win someone as a regular customer. That's too much. That's not possible, especially since the beer has to come from their own brewery. So 3.50 euros for a beer like that works. Nobody can come to me and tell me that everything is getting more expensive. That doesn't take away from the person. Regarding the service, I abstain. These are young, committed people who are trying hard. Therefore, unfortunately only 4 stars overall. 🤷 The prices really take your shoes off. Unfortunately, that's also a reason why we probably won't come back, even though we live around the corner, unfortunately☹️

Had a wonderful birthday there. Starting with the communication in advance, through the service that evening and great food. We all had a great evening at the table buffet and I was able to fully concentrate on my guests. Many thanks to the Hasenbande team.

I really enjoy eating here! M.M.n. one of the best restaurants in Mönchengladbach. Always delicious and the staff is very friendly, even when it's a little crowded! Ambiance has its own charm, you definitely shouldn't be afraid of heights for the upper levels. In summer you can also sit outside, even if it is quite close to the street. The only point of criticism is that, as far as I know, the restaurant is not handicapped or wheelchair accessible, but that is due to the old building. No problem outside.

It's always an absolutely great experience to be here. As a guest you feel comfortable and, above all, appreciated. The food is great, freshly prepared and very tasty. Whether it's a burger or a salad, it's always fresh and tasty, thank you for that.

The pulled-pork hamburger was different, but delicious! Fries and salad was standard. However, at €17.90 the price is clearly too high and cannot be justified by the very nice ambience. The Hensen and foreign beers are top. The outside terrace has a bit of the character of a traffic island; large green areas could be used to shield the traffic a little better. Nevertheless, thumbs up 👍 for the Hensen, also because of the good service team.

Super nice staff, something I've rarely seen in Germany. Very good food, delicious beer. What more could you want? We'll definitely come back.

Today on June 14th the first floor was packed, with a volume that was absolutely unacceptable. None of this was communicated to us when we made the reservation. We were taken to the second floor, very warm and the noise from the first floor was not at all. When we asked for a "quieter" table, we were told there wasn't one. After 10 minutes of sweating under the roof, we left without ordering anything. Would have liked to have enjoyed the beer or food, but not like that. Conclusion: not again

We recommend! I saw the store on “My Local, Your Local” and had to try it out. I can't get out of the corner and had to drive 1 hour there. Conclusion: It was worth it! You can also park for free in a large parking lot next door!

We were there after Borussia. The burger was ok. The bread was a bit sticky, but overall it was decent. Nothing outstanding though. The service was really good and attentive. I think the food prices are still ok, although €18-20 for a burger is also decent. The beer prices have skyrocketed. A liter price of 12.5€ for an Alt beer is even 1.3€ more expensive than for a liter of Altbier in Düsseldorf on the Ratinger etc. That's quite steep for a Gladbach bar in Waldhausen 😅

We received a friendly welcome. The beer is very tasty and you can taste that it is home-brewed. The food is very tasty 😋 the service keeps a cool head even during peak times and keeps an eye on everything. We can only recommend it and we would be happy to come back. Good breakfast/brunch at a reasonable price. 8.50 for a waffle with fruit is quite an announcement. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not very inviting.

Very attentive and friendly service, good Hensen beer and a delicious burger. The fries could use a little less salt for my taste, but otherwise everything was great. Not to be confused with the Rabbit Hole restaurant in the basement (even though they share the kitchen, as far as I know, the better beer is upstairs 😊).

One of the greatest spots in Gladbach! The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is really nice, especially in summer when you can still use the terrace. There are cool events and (most importantly) the food and malt beer are awesome!!! (Lots of choice for vegetarians). I can just recommend it to everybody :-)

Wir hatten hier unsere Innungsversammlung. Wir haben verschiedene Burger,Pommes,Mac n Cheese,gegrilltes Gemüse gegessen. Verschiedene Biere haben wir probiert...hier wird selber noch gebraut.Zum Abschluß gab es noch eine leckere Nussecke. Ich war sehr angenehm überrascht. Das gesamte Servicepersonal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Hier ist der Kunde König.... Ich werde privat erscheinen....

Juicy Burgers, angenehme Atmosphäre, normale Preise ... vielleicht könnte die Speisekarte fünf Gerichte mehr Auswahl vertragen. Insgesamt dennoch gut ...

Wir hatten reserviert und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt frisches Bier in Varianten und sehr herzhafte, leckere Speisen.

Ein leckeres Bier und einen Snack dazu! So lecker. Ich habe die Hasenbande während der Kulinarischen Schnitzeljagd kennengelernt. Toller Biergarten, super Biere und nettes Personal.

Hatten auf Terrasse mit 4 Personen gesessen. Dort riecht es extrem nach Kanal. Wir hatten Burger. Diese waren lecker. Jedoch obwohl schon der Preis recht ambinioniert ist, kostet die Soße extra! Die Pommes sind Fabrikware. Die Salatbeilage ist sehr übersichtlich. Draußen werden nur große Bier serviert. 0,4 ltr. für 5 Euro. Die Bedienung war freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Obwohl noch gegessen wurde, hatte sie schon begonnen abzuräumen. Mit zwei Personen, jeweils Burger und ein Bier haben wir 43 Euro bezahlt! Wer kann oder will sich das leisten für einen Burger??? Alles in allem hat es uns nicht gefallen und war auch zu teuer.

Ein außerordentlich großes Messegelände ist hier vorzufinden, mit einer Vielfalt an Hallen, die unterschiedlich genutzt werden können und Außenbereichen, die ebenfalls unter anderem für Imbiss genutzt werden können. Die Einrichtungen waren wunderschön, beide Male (Gamescom) war alles ästhetisch überragend und die Möglichkeit waren ebenfalls hervorragend. Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und kompetent und preislich kann man sich nicht beschweren. Bedauerlicherweise ist trotz Ausschilderung schneller Übersichtsverlust möglich. Doch insgesamt kann ich die Kölnmesse nur weiterempfehlen und ich komme bestimmt wieder

Zu einem geselligen Abend kann es einfach nur in die über den Stadtgrenzen hinaus bekannte Brauerei gehen. Neben dem typischen Speisen kann man hier auch mal was Ausgefallenes finden oder sich durch einige der noch selbstgebrauten Biere probieren. Hier verweilt man gerne für eine Zeit und kommt mit Familie oder Freunden zusammen.

Tolles Ambiente aber die Preise sind in meinen Augen viel zu hoch und das Bier traff auch nicht meinen Geschmack. Der Service war aber sehr gut und gehört hier definitiv erwähnt.

Das Essen ist gut, das Bier auch. Es macht Spaß sich hier zu treffen sowohl innen als auch im Sommer außen. Auf der Außenterrasse gibt es reichlich Abendsonne und auch für Fahrradfahrer gibt es ausreichende Möglichkeiten die Fahrräder abzustellen.

Tolle location mit sehr guter Speisenauswahl. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Nachos und der vegetarische Burger! Personal sehr nett und auf zack!

Good place. The Alt is really good but I would recommend the Rhein IPA which has a very balanced smooth taste. Staff also really nice. I enjoyed a burger and fries from the rabbit hole. You can just go downstairs there and order with giro card. The beer garden is located next to a street but it was not very noisy. Would go here again!

Mein Mann und ich waren eben Burger essen. Es hat super geschmeckt. Der Burger war sehr lecker, die Pommes dünn und cross und die Mayonnaise selbstgemacht. Auch die Ananas Basilikum Lima war super lecker und erfrischend. Es war das erste aber nicht das letzte Mal.
