Happy Fingers Fried Chicken in Bremen

So where do I even begin, with the food or the service? The food was awful and the service was terrible. The whole thing cost €22. The salad wasn't fresh, there were only two slices of tomato, and the fries were, oh my god, worse than McDonald's. And the chicken was pre-fried and set aside in case there were customers – good, then they didn't have to fry it again. Forget about hygiene. Seriously, I came here because of the supposed 4.3-star rating or something. The place reeked of oil, so you could barely sit there – no ventilation because of the deep fryer. So that was the last time. Either experience it for yourselves or don't go there.

Chicken filets were cold and stale. I had vomit feeling later at home. I wished I had returned the stale chicken filet right away.

We were very disappointed yesterday. The burgers were okay, but they're better on other days. The chicken bites were ice cold. When I went to the checkout and mentioned this, the employee said he didn't think so. However, he then threw away some of the bites and put three chicken strips in my package instead. There were three of us, and none of us were satisfied.

We had a crispy chicken burger, a classic cheeseburger, and chicken strips. The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside 🍗 Personally, I prefer the chicken burger to the cheeseburger, as the meat in the cheeseburger wasn't quite as juicy as the chicken in the chicken burger 🍔 I've ordered from there several times, and I've always enjoyed it. I especially appreciate that the food is halal.

Everything is great, except it's freezing cold in the store, like a freezer.

The food is cold, as always. This is my fifth time eating there, and every single time it arrives cold. The price is very expensive, and sitting in the restaurant is also very cold and unpleasant. I would never eat or sit there again.

Food was ordered at 5:45 PM. At 7:45 PM, the delivery driver told us on the phone that he was waiting at the restaurant for the food to be prepared. The food arrived cold, so I have to give it one star, but I would have preferred to give it zero. I don't need to comment on the service; it was the same story. I can't rate the ambiance, so I'll give it a neutral 3/5.

I'm very disappointed with my visit to the Woltmershausen branch today, even though I usually eat there regularly. The restaurant was extremely cold, so eating felt more like being in a refrigerator – very unpleasant. We ordered two burger meals. Both burgers had very little meat on them; I basically ate almost nothing but bread. When I pointed this out to the staff and showed them the burgers, the only response was that "everything has gotten more expensive." No apology, no attempt to make amends, no solution. I would have expected better customer service, especially from a restaurant I frequent. Unfortunately, this doesn't make you feel like you're being taken seriously.

The experience was okay, and the food tasted familiar and nothing new to us. It's worth trying once. I chose 4 stars because the taste was just average, not anything special, and because the restaurant is 100% halal. The service from the staff was very friendly. As for the atmosphere, it was clean, nice, and comfortable, but the restaurant was very cold. It was so cold that smoke was coming out of my mouth, especially since it was winter, and we couldn't eat comfortably in that cold. I hope they will address this. In conclusion, it's worth trying, especially since the restaurant is halal.

Some might wonder why I'm giving them one star when the food is really delicious; the service is simply abysmal. This place almost always delivers late, or sometimes not at all. Want to order on the Saturday or Sunday after Christmas? Nope, sorry. For some reason, the restaurant is listed as open on Uber Eats and Lieferando, but they're not delivering. I placed my last order on Lieferando at 1:55 PM, with a delivery time of 2:40 PM. Okay, no problem. At 2:40 PM, no food had arrived. Oh well, I thought, it's Christmas Eve, they're probably busy. Same thing at 3:00 PM. Still nothing at 3:30 PM. Then at 4:00 PM, something changed in the app, and guess what? The food was marked as delivered at 2:42 PM. No one answered the phone number listed on Lieferando. My first order, where the food actually arrived, was also 90 minutes late. You absolutely cannot rely on the delivery service from this store.

The food was unfortunately very cold, just like the whole place. It was -4°C outside and not much warmer inside. Very disappointing. I definitely won't be going back there, as the price-performance ratio is really poor! I was expecting much more. What a shame.

I ordered delivery (you can also pick it up yourself). When I placed my order, it said the delivery time would be 30 minutes. As soon as I confirmed the order, I immediately received an email informing me that the delivery time had been changed to 60 minutes. I found that quite cheeky. I wouldn't have ordered then, at least not that day. And what can I say – even that didn't work out. After 70 minutes (9:25 pm), the food finally arrived... Saturday nights seem to be incredibly busy for them... The food itself was delicious and hot, the fries were crispy, and the drinks were cold – absolutely nothing to complain about! I can't comment on the 'ambiance' since (as mentioned) I used the delivery service.

It's a wonderful, excellent restaurant. I recommend it to all my friends. I often go there to eat. Quality, service, and courtesy.

I ordered food from them. The two sauces I ordered weren't included, and the wings tasted completely dry and like cardboard. The fries arrived practically cold.

Absolutely awful. I was just there to pick up 15 hot wings. In the car, I noticed they were all completely cold. Back at the shop, I had to ask for a refund because it would have taken 20 minutes to get new ones. It's outrageous to sell cold wings for €18.50 and not even get replacements without a long wait. 👎

The food was delicious as always, but what annoyed me was that there were no fries. You order a meal and get the answer that they're currently out of fries. So, if I go to a fast food restaurant, it can't be that they're out of fries, especially at a place that's really made a name for itself. I found that really sad...

Despite a few minor issues, the restaurant is highly recommended. The food tastes very good, is filling, and you can tell the ingredients are high-quality. The interior is very nicely decorated and clean. There are a few cobwebs on some of the tables outside, but nothing major. The women's restroom is apparently quite good, but the floor in the men's restroom was unfortunately very wet. But of course, that could have been an exception. Unfortunately, we were only passing through; otherwise, we would definitely stop by more often. All in all, we highly recommend a visit.

Unfortunately, things have deteriorated considerably... I had to wait 35 minutes to get my food, and unfortunately, some of it was even cold. After about 10 minutes, I asked at the cashier if everything was okay or if they'd forgotten me, and they said it would be right there. Another 10 minutes later, the deep fryer suddenly broke, and the cashier said it would take another 10 minutes. And after that, unfortunately, it dragged on until I left the store unhappily after 35 minutes.

The fries were the only thing that tasted good. The chicken pieces were cold and tasted of old grease. The cheeseburger was also cold. The waitress barely managed a sentence. I wouldn't recommend it.

I was there with my friend, a 28-year-old Asian man. I ordered. After he handed out food to many customers and my friend had already been waiting there for 15 minutes, I asked to cancel the order and get my money back. I felt like my friend was being discriminated against. I told the clerk, in front of all the customers, that it wasn't okay that he was serving everyone else before him in such a discriminatory manner... There was no apology, nothing, so even one star is too many here!!!!!

I've always been satisfied with the food at Happy Fingers – the chicken bowl in particular was always fresh and delicious. But yesterday I was truly disappointed. My bowl contained lettuce that was dark brown to black – clearly old and unappetizing. To be honest, it really disgusted me. There was also no sauce, which made the bowl very dry. I didn't really want to write a bad review, but this time I really had to. Such a shame!

I was at this restaurant on July 20, 2025, around 8 p.m. and unfortunately, I noticed that an employee wearing a black T-shirt was reusing dropped food. I found this unhygienic.

The food was inedible; the burger was cold, cooked, and flavorless chicken. The buns were good! The fries were good! The service could be friendlier.

Very cool shop, finally a halal KFC nearby

The food was lukewarm to cold, very greasy, and overseasoned. The cashier tried hard but was unfortunately overwhelmed and took an extremely long time to process the order (25-minute wait). The place itself is greasy and not particularly clean. The tables, seats, and floors don't look inviting. It's also a total Talahon hangout, with a corresponding vibe and noise level. All in all, I'd say: €30 (for two people) poorer, and I haven't felt so filthy after eating in a long time. Better get a kebab or a pizza; you'll get more out of it!

Then we asked for a change, and then there was a whole round of discussion, which I find completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Then there were a few side dishes that were missing, and he was so rude and disrespectful. It's unacceptable. I'll never come back.

I can definitely recommend the food, but an unpleasant odor often lingers on your clothes after a visit, which is a bit annoying. On several visits, we also noticed that the tables and benches were always very dirty. Something definitely needs to be done about this, too.

Simply unbeatable. Nice owner. Over time they have greatly improved some products. The Smashed Burger, for example, doesn't have to hide from the competition, even though beef is not the main product. The fries are very, very high quality and you can taste the difference. The great thing is that you can reheat the chicken pieces in the oven without them getting dry. Obviously, attention is paid to the quality of the meat here.

Ordered via Uber Eats today. First of all - the food was great! Delivery was also great & very quick. Unfortunately, the fries were missing, which is a bit annoying if you paid in advance via Paypal and then can't reach anyone in the store by phone.

I have been a customer at Happy Fingers on a regular basis since 2023. My favorite dish is the chicken wrap (on the menu) and the hot wings. Regarding the hot wings: I only have the American competition with 3 letters as a comparison. I've loved eating Hotwings for over a decade. But I wanted to give these a chance and I wasn't disappointed: the hot wings are all large in size, the breading tastes delicious and overall they are very filling. The only criticism: unfortunately the parts are not really hot, i.e. sharp. If so, I would describe them as spicy, although I'm not a person who eats spicy food all the time. Maybe I was just unlucky and the parts are also available in normal sharpness. Chicken Wrap (menu): For me it is the tastiest wrap you can buy. The bread is very tasty and doesn't taste cheap and the chicken fillet pieces are equally tasty. If you're lucky, they'll even be crispy when you eat them. Garlic sauce and lettuce round off the wrap perfectly. It just depends on who does the wrap. Unfortunately, I've had wraps that had little or very unbalanced filling and you really notice that when you eat them. Sometimes the wrap is 10/10, sometimes it's 6/10. There shouldn't be such strong fluctuations. Especially not when you consider that the price of this menu has risen sharply in 2024. The fries on the menu are quite okay, nothing earth-shattering and I have to say at this point that I think the switch to the Fritz brand for the drinks is very good. The service is always relatively nice and the preparation time doesn't take long. All in all a great shop in Bremen, with a few weaknesses and somewhat expensive prices.

Was there on a Saturday evening. Despite the fact that the shop was very busy and there was hardly a seat to be found, the food didn't take long to arrive. The chicken was freshly fried and was even served hot, which I have rarely had in fried chicken fast food restaurants. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy and the breading was crispy. Priced very fairly too. I would say our colleagues from Kentucky can get involved!

Update of my review: a fast-growing company like this will have to make compromises somewhere, but I have to honestly say that I have now worked up my first 5-star rating to 1 star, the best address when it comes to chicken products.

Simply great! Happy Fingers Fried Chicken in Bremen completely convinced me! The food is to die for - crispy, perfectly seasoned chicken that is always fresh and juicy. The side dishes are also a highlight - especially the fries and dips are awesome! The service was super friendly and quick, despite the restaurant being busy. The atmosphere is inviting and clean, you feel completely comfortable. An absolute must for fans of fried chicken – I’ll definitely be back!

Today I ordered food there and had to wait 1.5 hours for it (I live 500m away). The order came cold, the shake was dissolved and I had a hair in the meat. I do not recommend!

I'd prefer zero stars, this place has unfortunately deteriorated so much. Waited 1.5 hours for the food, and as always, the only response on the phone was "it's already gone" and "we're sorry."

Very good food and it fills you up

Yesterday I ate at the Indian restaurant next door and planned Happy Fingers for today. Unfortunately I didn't find anything happy here. All chicken variants in the single bucket were extremely fatty and lukewarm at most. Fries were the only thing that was ok and really very fresh. Unfortunately, you won't see me again anytime soon...there's a lot of potential for improvement here.

Food didn't come for over 2 hours

Really good! Much better than KFC!!!!!! You have to try it!!! It's a shame that this doesn't exist in other cities (e.g. Oldenburg, Hamburg, etc.).

I ordered the 5 wings and the crispy chicken wrap and both arrived hot in half the time stated and the wings were really cool and crispy. Don't be put off by the negative reviews. Try out. (Ok, you could probably chop the tenders in the wrap. For the wrap statics. because it decreases proportionally to the length of the wrap ((but that's complaining at a high level)).

I am a regular guest at Happy Finger Bremen and have always had good experiences when I was here with my family. Today, however, I was disappointed. When paying, the waitress said that my card didn't work and asked me to go to the nearest ATM, which was 600 meters away. After walking I noticed that the machine wasn't working. Back at the restaurant I tried another card, which wasn't accepted either. In the end it turned out that the problem was due to an operator error by the waitress, who had set the system incorrectly. I ran a total of 1.2 km and was unnecessarily stressed about this mistake. Thorough training for staff in how to use the devices would be urgently needed. 👎

We ate great food, everything was great

Unfortunately, the preparation didn't take 15 minutes as advertised, but 45 minutes. So, half an hour like waiting for the late train in a train station atmosphere, packing food and realizing at home that none of the dips I ordered and paid for were packed... You don't have to have it. The fries were delicious and we also had ketchup/mayo at home!

Price design has made itself felt...

The staff was very nice, even though it was just before closing time, the food was great and fresh, even though it was just before closing time. The chicken was freshly prepared again. The only point of criticism: I would have liked a little more flavor in the breading, but those are just small things, the chicken is pretty good. I also think it's great how Fritz Cola is used here instead of Coca Cola.

A really great alternative to the other large fast food providers who mainly offer chicken. The service is great, the employees are very friendly and the food is really tasty. It's always hot and crispy. Not quite as cheap but neither are the others. I think it's great that they have removed Coca-Cola from their product range and are therefore supporting the boycott of these brands. The chicken here is halal. And because Coca-Cola is no longer sold here, I really enjoy going there because it shows me that this company not only wants to make money, but also has values! I regularly eat out with my family and recommend it to anyone who boycotts the big fast food chains!

Had a chicken cheese burger and 6 falafels. The falafel was great/tasty. The burger would definitely be even better if people were allowed to eat all of it. Otherwise tasty and decently prepared.

What the F*** is KFC. This is awesome here. Simply delicious and a great portion. You could see that everything was fresh. Four of us had the Family Bucket and Double Cheeseburger menu and couldn't finish it. The service was very friendly and open-minded. A clear recommendation!!!!
