There were five of us. Everyone was very satisfied. Great food, great service, very attentive and nice. The ambience is also great. The tables are far apart so that you are not disturbed by other guests and it is not noisy. The price was reasonable; the portions are very large. There was also a birthday cake. We would like to come again. We recommend.

Our family dinner in the Hanzade restaurant in Duisburg Marxloh was an absolute highlight! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was just perfect. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff attentive and the food a real delight. We can recommend Hanzade to anyone looking for real Turkish cuisine and a special occasion. Five stars are absolutely deserved here!

One of the best Turkish restaurants, fine cuisine I would say. Was here for the third time, always a pleasure. The lamb skewer is simply awesome, I drive 100km for it 😋

I was just at a restaurant with a group of ten people and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the customer satisfaction. Even though the restaurant had several free tables, we were told they had no room for us as a group. It was frustrating to see the waiters refusing to push the tables together to sit together as a family. It's disappointing that the restaurant seems to place more emphasis on the decor than on customer satisfaction. Unfortunately I can't recommend it because it's more appearance than reality.

DISAPPOINTMENT. We came for iftar with 5 people, they were told that the salad would be distributed as a treat, but the salad did not arrive, the cost of the lentil soup is 8.50€, there is not much to say. We were told that stuffed mushrooms (i.e. mushrooms with cheese) would take a long time, but we ordered mashed potatoes and were told there would be no left after an hour. It took exactly 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food to arrive, and when the food was almost finished, the salads that were supposed to come first arrived. I think the portions are small and they don't use any spices in the kitchen. Unfortunately, no matter how much we added them later, the food had no flavor. They said that it was delayed so much because it was Ramadan, we did not wait for the food to arrive exactly at iftar time, but there is no explanation for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the fact that the place and atmosphere are so nice is not enough for us to come again.

The atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant itself is very clean. I had to wait a good 50 minutes for the food, even though we said loudly and clearly that we wanted to break our fast. Then we got our lentil soup, which is even more delicious at a snack bar than there .then we got our main courses. I ordered rum steak but it was fried, mine was raw with droplets of blood, which I of course sent back to fry. But it came back raw. Shortly before the end, the cold starter also came and was cooked Didn't taste good. My Cola was the tastiest thing at the whole table. The employees were all unfriendly and one was very cheeky. Thank you for the cruelest evening meal.

I believe that it is not right from an Islamic perspective for a Muslim family to leave. Alcohol is sold and I saw a statement in the interview such as "There is a mosque around but this is not a place of prayer." No way 👎

I had dinner at Hanzade with my whole family. We were served extremely friendly and courteously. The child-friendliness must be particularly mentioned. We have never experienced something like this in "German" locations; children were perceived as more of a nuisance, but not so at Hanzade. We always enjoy coming back.

Nice restaurant, design, calm and great atmosphere, worth a try

We drove an hour to Duisburg to eat here. We made reservations and wanted to change the number of visitors to avoid being turned away over the phone. Apparently we didn't call and didn't have a reservation. On the phone they told us that they had no space and couldn't push tables together for us. They were of no help to us and the one hour drive to Duisburg was free. So the service is not trustworthy. People are not respected here. Very unfortunate.

Great ambience. Clean restaurant. Nice service. Price performance fits. In comparison, the prices are higher but the meat is tender and the food is worth the money.

The waitstaff were cheerful and helpful; Their service exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was also quite impressive, making this restaurant truly a top-notch experience. In a word, magnificent! "Feast of Taste and Friendly Service" It was a great experience I had at this Turkish restaurant! The taste of the food impressed me, especially the appetizers and tenderloin steak were delicious. The waiters were friendly and helpful, their service definitely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was also quite impressive, this restaurant truly offers a first class experience. The five of us ate at the Hanzade restaurant for our monthly meeting in different restaurants. We felt very comfortable there. The food, both the starters and the soup as well as the main courses, were excellent. They were beautifully prepared and extremely tasty. The service – our waiter was called Kadir – was very friendly, not too intrusive and very attentive. The dishes didn't come too quickly one after the other and we ate together for a long time. We can only recommend the Hanzade restaurant and it wasn't our last time there and we would love to come back.

Das Restaurant Hanzade in Duisburg ist ein sehr tolles Restaurant mit sehr gutem Ambiente. Waren mit 4 Personen da. Das Service Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Man wird direkt freundlich empfangen und ans Tisch geführt. Von der Bestellung bis hin zum Servieren ans Tisch ging alles sehr zügig. Das Abendessen war vorzüglich. Ich habe schon lange nicht so gut gegessen. Preis Leistungsverhältnis finde ich in Ordnung. Werden öfters wieder kommen, kann ich nur empfehlen. Danke für das schöne Abendessen.

Sehr gut gespeist tolle Atmosphäre, werde wieder kommen

Da der Großteil der Bevölkerung bei dem Namen “türkisches Restaurant“ eher an 5€ Dönerbuden oder „Schnellrestaurants“, wie diverse „Ocakbaşı” gewöhnt ist, wundert es mich nicht, dass den Herrschaften die Portionen „angeblich“ zu klein und die Preise „zu teuer“ sind. Ich bin vor Ort gewesen und es ist sowohl vom Ambiente als auch vom Essen etwas Besonderes. Qualität hat halt seinen Preis und man sollte es zu schätzen wissen, dass es auch solche „Restaurants“ gibt. Man beachte, dies ist ein A la Carte Restaurant im mediterranen Sinne. Wäre es ein französisches Le Cuisine würde man wohl eher weniger über die Preise und die Menge diskutieren. 😉 Die Abwertung diverser Kommentare, man wäre ja in Marxloh ist sowieso absurd. Auch in „Duisburg-Marxloh“ kann man aussergewöhnliches schaffen.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe dort.. zufrieden waren wir leider nicht. Die Kellner brachten nicht mal ein Lächeln über die Lippen, geschweige denn das öfters mal gefragt wurde ob wir noch was bestellen möchten. Diese standen teilweise zu dritt zusammen und hatten nichts zu tun weil das Lokal nur mit ein paar wenigen Tischen besetzt war. Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr schick und modern. Auch von außen macht es einen tollen Eindruck. Dieser gute Eindruck hörte dann beim Essen aber leider auf.. die Speisen waren alle schön angerichtet aber eine gute Fleischqualität war es nicht.. ebenso schwammen einige Gerichte regelrecht in Öl und Fett. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt hier absolut nicht. Für ein paar Rinderfiletstreifen, kaum erkennbare "Kartoffelsticks" und ein paar Paprika 35,50€ zu verlangen ist schon mutig. Das Restaurant ist leider derart hell erleuchtet wie ein Fußballstadion und ebenso auch so laut. Die Musik war leider zu laut um sich ruhig unterhalten zu können. Das störte schon sehr. Alles in allem kommen wir definitiv nicht wieder. Die derart hohen Preise sind nicht gerechtfertigt für die wenn überhaupt mittlere Speisenqualität. Bei einer so schicken Location erwartet man doch mehr als nur hübsch dekorierte Teller..

Herausragendes türkisches Restaurant in Duisburg-Marxloh mit außergewöhnlicher Atmosphäre. Nach einem opulenten, köstlichen Vorspeisenteller genossen wir verschiedene Grillgerichte (Hähnchen, Lammkoteletts). Alles war auf den Punkt gegart und schmeckte vorzüglich. Mit Süßspeisen und Raki beschlossen wir das Ganze - alles vom Feinsten. So eine gute türkische Küche habe ich bislang nur im Urlaub in der Türkei angetroffen. Ein Restaurant wie das Hanzade hat bisher in Duisburg gefehlt. Ich hatte eingangs von "außergewöhnlicher Atmosphäre" gesprochen: Ursprünglich handelte es sich bei dem Gebäude um ein Kino (Modernes Theater Hamborn, 540 Plätze, 1915). Das erklärt die hohen Decken und die schlichtweg atemberaubende Größe. Man speist also in einem ehemaligen, über 100 Jahre alten Kinosaal, das hat schon etwas. Zuvor ein Brautmodengeschäft, hat man die Räumlichkeiten jetzt für den neuen Zweck vortrefflich renoviert. Last not least muss man noch den hervorragenden Service nennen: Freundlich, eloquent, schnell, kompetent. Feinheiten: 1. Olivenöl und Granatapfelsirup werden aus der Türkei importiert und mit Hanzade-Label zum Salat gereicht. Großartig! 2. Wie zu Stummfilmzeiten sorgt ein Pianist für die passende Untermalung. Na, neugierig geworden? Dann schauen Sie doch einfach mal rein.

Super schöner Laden super Service Essen war sehr lecker kann man wirklich nur empfehlen!! Zum Geburtstag gab es eine schöne Überraschung!!

Corona und die damit zusammenhängenden Ausgehverbote haben das ohnehin dürftige Angebot der Spitzengastronomie in Duisburg zusätzlich vermindert. Während zweier Wochen in Honfleur und St. Malo habe ich dort in Restaurants gelebt wie Gott in Frankreich. Bei der Würdigung eines sehr guten Restaurants lasse ich mich leiten von folgenden Kriterien: Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Qualität und Zubereitung der Speisen, Service und Ambiente. Außerhalb der Türkei kenne ich kein türkisches Restaurant, das architektonisch so großzügig konzipiert und realisiert worden ist wie das Hanzade in Duisburg. Ein Stück aus 1000 und einer Nacht mit dezenter Hintergrundmusik. In diese märchenhafte Atmosphäre passt ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer kurzum perfekter Service des Personals in schwarzem Anzug und weißem Hemd. Das Essen und die Getränke überzeugten in jeder Hinsicht. Die Vorspeisenplatte mit diversen kalten und warmen Speisen (u. a. türkische Mezze, Krabben und Leber) war ein Gedicht. Trotz des breit gefächerten Angebotes aß ich diesmal zur Hauptspeise ein Hähnchenfilet mit Beilagen für unter 20,00 € das köstlich schmeckte. Unterhalb dieser Preisgrenze gibt es weiter Hähnchen- und Lammspieße. Auch der anspruchsvolle Gourmet wird mit hochwertigem Essen verwöhnt, das selbstverständlich auch seinen angemessenen Preis hat. Diese durchdachte Preispolitik erlaubt es jungen Paaren dort ebenso zu dinieren und sich schöne Stunden zu machen wie arrivierten Kreisen dort zu feiern und Events zu organisieren. Auch die Dessert-Platte mit frischem Obst und türkische Süßspeisen überzeugte. Der Chardonnay kam aus der Türkei und war empfehlenswert und für mich gab es als Aperitif ein Weizenbier.
