Very satisfied, highly recommended.

Yesterday (March 14, 2026), our family of four dined at this restaurant. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. We especially want to commend the kitchen and the friendly service staff – we felt instantly welcome. We were all very satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Best regards from the Marburg area.

The place is truly beautiful and has a stylish design. The atmosphere and decor are quite impressive; it immediately raises expectations. However, unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment for us. Almost none of the dishes we tried had any flavor; they were quite weak in terms of taste. We would expect the food to be of the same quality in such a beautiful place. We left feeling a little disappointed because this was our first experience. I hope improvements will be made in the kitchen in the future, because the potential of the place is really great.

Unfortunately, it's more style than substance. We already had problems with our online reservation. The food didn't arrive at the same time. Appetizer plates were quickly cleared away even though we hadn't finished eating. Some of the food arrived cold, and almost everything was overcooked and dry. The portions were rather small for the price. We weren't even offered tea after the meal, which is quite different from what I've experienced in other restaurants. The ambiance, however, was very nice.

I went there with my family a few months ago and was absolutely thrilled. I had an Adana platter and the meat tasted perfect! The whole atmosphere was very pleasant and the waiter was incredibly polite and attentive. It was a bit more expensive than the usual Turkish restaurants in Marxloh and the surrounding area, but worth every penny. I'll definitely be back :)

We went to this restaurant for Iftar yesterday and were very disappointed. The soups arrived late, after we had broken our fast, and were cold. My dish (Beyti) didn't arrive for about 45 minutes and was raw inside and extremely greasy; I was truly shocked. My mother's and sister's meat dishes were also raw. We asked the waiter to cook the meat further. After only 5 minutes, the plates were brought back, but the meat was still raw, just slightly warmer. In addition, I ordered fries, which never arrived, even though I asked about them three times. Each time, I was told "they'll be right there," but they never came. In the end, we still paid almost €100, even for food I couldn't eat. This is very disrespectful to the customers. I will never come back and absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A very bad experience. The food was barely edible. The meat was undercooked, raw inside – a real health hazard. The hummus bore no resemblance to hummus whatsoever; it was completely tasteless and inauthentic. The sauces were spoiled, sour, and had an unpleasant odor – we couldn't eat any more. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to serve such food. The value for money was disastrous. A total lack of respect for the guests. Absolutely not recommended, and we will definitely not be returning.

Highly recommended. We were there on February 14, 2026, and had reserved a table. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is beautifully and modernly designed. There was a live violinist who even walked through the ground floor area and continued playing at our tables. There's also an upstairs area. Overall, the acoustics are pleasant, and you can easily have a conversation. The food is very good, including the dip for the homemade fries and the dip for the rice. Parking is available on the street and in the surrounding area, some of it free. There's also paid parking at the Marxloh Center parking garage. We'd love to come back again.

This was our second visit to Restaurant Hanzade in Duisburg-Marxloh, and we were absolutely delighted! The food was outstanding, fresh, and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish; you immediately feel at ease. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive. All in all, simply top-notch – we'll definitely be back!

Overpriced, poorly seasoned pieces of meat, and insufficient portions. I paid 36 euros for a mixed grill and wasn't full. Never again. Conclusion: A good atmosphere doesn't always mean good food.

A cool atmosphere with high-quality wooden tables, plants, and subtle industrial design. Delicious Mediterranean dishes. The oven-baked dishes, especially those baked in a salt crust, are fantastic. We chose Hanzade Restaurant for our family New Year's Eve dinner for the first time, and as soon as we entered, we knew we'd made the right decision. The stylish decor and pleasant atmosphere immediately impressed us. It's clear that every little detail has been professionally considered with customer satisfaction in mind. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our reserved table. The server who looked after us was extremely polite, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. It was wonderful to see that he truly enjoyed his work and was passionate about it. The food was delicious, and the presentation was superb. A big thank you to the owner(s), the kitchen staff, and the entire team for this wonderful evening. You made our New Year's Eve celebration truly enjoyable and unforgettable.

The atmosphere and service were good. But the taste was terrible. The künefe (a type of Turkish dessert) was incredibly bad. We were there with a large group of friends. Everyone agreed with me. Also, the food arrived very late. When we asked for tea, they said they didn't have any cups and didn't bring any. Of course, they brought it later. The portions were small. And we traveled 100 km to get there. It wasn't worth it.

Great restaurant! The food and atmosphere are top-notch. The quality of the meat, in particular, is really excellent.

The price-performance ratio is terrible. The portions are so small that a woman really won't get full. Definitely not enough for the price. The service is very good, but unfortunately that doesn't matter if you don't get enough to eat.

During the meal, no waiter checked if everything was alright or if we needed anything else. After the meal, the table was simply cleared without asking if we would like dessert or tea. What bothered me even more was that as we were leaving, the waiter looked directly at us without even saying goodbye. Overall, the visit was disappointing – there's definitely a lot of room for improvement.

Full marks, food and service are simply superb, even customers with disabilities receive exemplary assistance, many German companies could take a leaf out of their book.

My experience is that this place looks nice but the food is too little and is very expensive.

We happened upon it by chance and stopped by on a Saturday to eat. We received a friendly welcome, and there was a table available for us. We opted for vegetarian penne and Adana kebab. We started with a welcome from the kitchen: bread and herb butter. The food arrived promptly, was very tasty, and beautifully presented. Afterward, we were treated to a complimentary tea. Upscale Turkish cuisine, a lovely ambiance, and friendly, very attentive staff. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

The service seemed very classy and you received a very warm welcome from the reception staff. If you insist, the head chef comes to your table and explains all the dishes that will be served in the kitchen that evening. It's a truly special restaurant in Duisburg, offering sophisticated Turkish cuisine and excellent Turkish wines. The dishes are all lovingly prepared and of very high quality. The service, in particular, is very friendly and attentive. It's perfect for special occasions. We will definitely eat there again.

To start, you get fresh bread with a cheese and paprika spread on the house. We ordered the mixed grill, beyti, cokertme kebab, mixed grill with just chicken, chicken skewer, chicken breast with vegetables, and Adana. Everything tasted excellent. My favorites are beyti and cokertme kebab. The prices are above average, but the quality is also good. The service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant.

Today was a complete disappointment. The meat tasted absolutely terrible. The meat was unbearably tough. The service was super friendly. We didn't finish the food, though. They wanted to offer us something else, but we didn't have time. The fact that they still charged us the full amount of €70 for two people was not nice. We won't be going there again.

We were extremely satisfied with our visit to the Hanzade restaurant in Duisburg. We were particularly impressed by the freshness and quality of the fish dish, which was excellently prepared. The menu offers an authentic selection of Turkish specialties – and what really stands out: the extensive wine list with many Turkish wines that are rarely found in Germany. The ambiance is cozy, the service attentive and warm. You can feel that the cooking here is done with passion and that the hospitality culture is lived. We will definitely be back! A real insider tip for lovers of Turkish cuisine.

I ate the best kebabs I have ever eaten in Europe here. I have never eaten such delicious, tender meat even in Turkey. The waiters inside are very respectful and professionals in their jobs. They did their best to make you feel special. I now have a favorite restaurant. I will come to this restaurant from the Netherlands without hesitation. I recommend it to everyone, you will not regret it.

The exterior and interior appearance was very neat and beautiful, we were fooled by this, we went there, we waited for the food for 45 minutes, we were able to have a spoon of the appetizers, it was very bad, as if they had sprinkled the whole salt shaker on the meat. I definitely wouldn't recommend you to be fooled by the good reviews and go there. They charge a separate fee for the sauce. They mix the ready-made sauce and serve it. There wasn't even any mushrooms in the mushroom sauce.

In the end a bill of over €450 plus tip was passed across the table (8 people) and the service was subpar. At the end we were told something because we waited half an hour for tea and had to make the service aware of it. The next table with alcohol had full service. Tables are sometimes preferred here. That doesn't work! The soup arrived very lukewarm and barely hot. The portions were very small. The feeling as a guest this time was not good. Anyone who calls up such prices must also adjust the service accordingly.

We ate there yesterday and everything was really beautiful. The ambience was just so pleasant, the music in the background wasn't disturbing at all, on the contrary it was easy to enjoy. The food was served well and was delicious. But I would definitely give the most points to the service. Every single employee was totally friendly and incredibly polite. We had a wonderful evening. This is a wonderful restaurant that we discovered spontaneously for the first time yesterday, to fill our stomachs before the theatre. We have never eaten at a similar Turkish restaurant in Germany until now. There is a very high level of quality and service understanding. Thank you for your efforts! Likewise, he carefully prepared our dessert for two people to eat at the service table next to our table) - Professionalism of an expert staff, - The taste of the food and the care in presentation (The dinner plates were heated. The lemon seeds to be squeezed on the fish were placed inside the tulle so that they would not fall. The bread is their own production and smells like fried food.) - Interior decoration with stylish and thoughtful details - Jacket/coat hanger placed next to each dining table (What a wonderful and well-thought-out detail this is!) It was the first time we went, but it certainly won't be the last. We want this quality to be heard more! Let us once again thank all the working and laboring personnel.

The Hanzade Restaurant is worth a visit. Went there for the first time yesterday for our anniversary. My husband was blown away by the steak. A steak has never tasted so great. The food was just great. Also the dessert 🤌🏻 All I can say about the service is very nice, friendly employees. We were served very well and quickly! The food also came very quickly. Had very short waiting times. I can heartily recommend the restaurant.

I would like to share my experience at this restaurant as unfortunately it was anything but positive. We traveled from Stuttgart to Duisburg specifically to look at some evening dresses and were looking forward to having something good to eat afterwards. We went to this restaurant after a recommendation but the result was disappointing. Even though we hadn't made a reservation and came spontaneously, we were greeted with unfriendliness. We got a table for four even though there were five of us. When we politely asked if we could sit at another table, we were treated very disrespectfully by a member of staff. He told us we should be happy that we even got a place. This type of treatment was simply unacceptable. The restaurant area was almost empty, with only two tables occupied, and yet we didn't feel welcome. The lack of hospitality really spoiled our evening. I therefore cannot recommend this restaurant. Customers should always be treated with respect because after all, the customer is king.

I've been to this restaurant twice. The food was very good both times. The service was just awesome. Very friendly and very attentive. The starters were on our table within 10 minutes. The main meal was waited until we gave the order ourselves. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed. The sanitary rooms are incredibly clean. On our second visit we had live music. The volume was pleasant, not too loud. The prices are a little higher here, but I think it's reasonable for this restaurant. Please stay that way and don't raise the prices. We had a bottle of Raki 20cl and a bottle of Raki 35cl.

We felt a little too watched. Could very well be due to the fact that the staff didn't have much to do as the restaurant wasn't very busy.
