Yes! The food took a while, but that was normal given the crowds. The waiter was humorous and very attentive, despite the restaurant being packed. The atmosphere was also top-notch. High praise!

We ate here with our two kids. Very friendly service and delicious, fresh food. We'd love to come back!

I wanted to try it again, because the burgers are actually quite tasty. But... after I found a seat outside (it wasn't particularly busy), the waitress walked past me at least 10 times, serving customers who already had their meals. When, after more than 30 minutes (with waving, nodding, and so on), no one from the staff still asked if I wanted to order, I left... It was my last attempt.

Just go there and let the gastronomic concept work and taste.

We tried Hans im Glück for the first time today. The service staff are really nice and friendly, and it seems nice and clean. Food is always subjective and difficult to judge objectively; some people like it, others don't. We thought it was okay, but it didn't really blow us away. However, it has to be deducted one star; at least in our case, it took a very long time for the food to be served after ordering, even though there were quite a few free tables. We didn't like that.

Our first impression was very positive. The interior design alone is top-notch. But then there were problems with taking orders, with cutlery for eating, and ultimately even with the bill; to our detriment...a shame and aggravating.

Nice burger spot with friendly staff

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The burgers were very good and fresh. The drinks and cocktails were also great. However, coffee after dinner wasn't possible, as the coffee bar closed at 9 p.m. Drinks were also no longer available after 9:30 p.m. It's a shame. But we were kindly informed that coffee and cocktails would soon be out of stock.

Good food, good burgers. I found the atmosphere a bit less with all kinds of tree branches and a hard bench to sit on.

This was my second time at this restaurant. It was delicious. The staff was very friendly. It was also spotlessly clean. I would gladly return anytime.

Quite okay… The food portions were relatively small, and we waited 35 minutes, even though it wasn't busy when we arrived, and there weren't many takeaway orders. The two ladies serving were excellent. It was a good move of management to only employ two waiters. The two did a good job and were always friendly, but I doubt they even had time to stop for a quick drink. All in all, it was quite okay, and I'd give it another chance.

Food was delicious, we used an afternoon deal, definitely recommended and service was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back here and recommend it to others.

Great branch and the best burgers in Paderborn. I eat out in Paderborn once a week. I come here at least every other time because Hans im Glück Paderborn is so convincing. Recommended: the fiery one.

Yes! A new employee was serving me who wasn't quite sure and needed help... So far, normal and not bad... The cohesion in the team was great. The old hands helped a lot.

Beautiful burger restaurant in the middle of the old town, very natural design, perfect service, very good quality food. We had the evening menu, burger with chicken, hash browns and rocket, fries and a non-alcoholic elderberry cocktail with fresh ginger. And at this point we have to mention the quick preparation of the dishes as well as the excellent cocktail, non-alcoholic, even though it outshines the other drinks. Reasonably priced and typical for the area. We felt very comfortable. The rumbling from the music booth one floor above took some getting used to. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Food OK. However, the in-house card was not accepted when paying because there were technical problems. Update: They later apologized to us with a voucher. That was nice.

The Hans im Glück Paderborn is very nicely decorated and offers a good selection of premium burgers. When we visited it was very empty. Which made our visit particularly pleasant. I can highly recommend the burgers, they are of good quality. The service is friendly! I particularly like the atmosphere. If you want to eat good burgers then you can come here.

I've been here three times now and each time the table and the plate mats were pretty dirty. The employees are nice. I absolutely cannot recommend the burgers here, with the frozen patties I can also go straight to McDonald's and the like and get more of the same quality for my money. I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews here, but it must be due to Paderborn itself. The bowls are okay, the prices for fries are not.

My second attempt, but somehow... A smashed patty can also have good meat and not be so flat, and in general that doesn't convince me. I also don't think it's a good idea to be in service with two people at lunchtime. Barrier-free or at least low-barrier access would also be desirable.

We wanted to eat here - unfortunately we were sent away at 8.45 p.m. because the kitchen was apparently already closed. Definitely doesn't motivate you to try again.

Chaotic service and a “terrific” supervisor After about 45 minutes of waiting, our food still wasn't served and the waiters were bored walking through the shop, which was barely half full, so we wanted to ask. The food was apparently already prepared at this point. Five minutes later we were told there was no cheese and offered alternatives. Our burgers finally arrived again ten minutes later with roughly cut, half-hearted "slices" and were served to us very carelessly. The cheese alternatives mentioned above were not taken into account. However, the taste was okay. Hard pieces of cheese on a smash burger are also questionable... During our visit we were also able to observe other unpleasant situations between other guests and the team. Despite repeated requests, the waitress didn't understand that there was a draft through the open door. They also didn't respond to loud hints from guests who wanted to pay. They ultimately had to go to the checkout themselves because the waitresses obviously didn't come to the tables to pay. The waitresses also seemed visibly unnerved at work. During the long waiting time, in the only half-filled store with a very underutilized team, my companion wrote a negative review. However, when paying, we were asked about this assessment very directly and accusingly by our supervisor (it seems as if it was during the very "intensive" work phase was read immediately instead of serving the customers competently and quickly). In summary, this was a very unpleasant experience, which is why we will probably never visit this chain again.

Me and my wife are disappointed. That wasn't worth the money.

The food and homemade lemonade were delicious. However, there are also negative points. First of all, it's pretty tight inside and there's no cloakroom. The jackets are hung on the trees or placed on the seats, making it even tighter. After the main course we ordered tea/coffee and cake. However, the drinks arrived about 30-40 minutes earlier than cakes. During this time the tea and coffee got cold. The orders were only ever taken from one side of a table of 8, so we had to shout from the other side 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even to pay, we had to go from one side of the table to the other. Customer-focused is really something different.

Dinner in this wonderful restaurant left the best impression on us. Today we were there with my friend. We reserved a table in advance and it was a wonderful, cozy evening. Despite it being the weekend it wasn't busy and the service was very polite and quick. And the food – a real treat for our stomachs and our eyes. The hamburger was incredibly tasty, the sauce was pleasantly spicy, and the meat was of the highest quality - you could taste it straight away. We can recommend this well-known restaurant without hesitation. It's a place you'll definitely want to return to again and again!

If I had gone to the toilet before eating, I wouldn't have ordered anything there. When the kitchen looks like the toilet 🤮 that was really disgusting. Soap empty, toilet paper empty, dirty, rancid toilets that look like they are only cleaned once a week. You lose your appetite.

I was traveling for work and had lunch at Hans im Glück. The service was very attentive and accompanied me straight to the table. I ordered a lunch menu. The food & drinks were served quickly. At the end there was an espresso. The lunch menu is recommended and you are well looked after. I would love to come back the next time I visit the small town!

The food was very tasty and plentiful. We had the lunch special, good price. The service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the benches at Hans im Glück are uncomfortable and hard. The women's toilet was broken and so women had to use the men's toilet. Unfortunately it wasn't particularly clean. The entire floor was sticky and dirty. I don't know how to solve the problem any other way, but for me it's a "no go" to have to use the men's toilet and run the risk of walking past men urinating.

Unfortunately there is no mayo and the ketchup is also rather mediocre. Last time I visited, the fries were also relatively bad. The burgers are consistently good. Both with meat and without.

It was my first time in a Hans im Glück restaurant and I had heard a lot of good things about it. The interior is very original, although a bit cramped and uncomfortable. The selection of burgers, side dishes and, above all, drinks is great. Unfortunately, the burgers and fries didn't suit our taste and the burgers weren't exactly big for the price. The homemade drinks were very tasty. Price-performance wasn't right for me.

Hans im Glück offers a pleasant selection of dishes. The focus here is on the lunch menu or, from 5 p.m., the evening menu. Here you can get your burger with a side dish and drink for a fair price. Particularly noteworthy is the generous selection for vegetarians and vegans. This group of people will also feel absolutely comfortable here. Our service was very friendly. Our son received a children's menu and a high chair was provided for our baby. Overall a great experience.

The burger was very tasty and generously topped. Unfortunately, the fries looked like they were leftovers from the bowl (dark brown, small fries). After paying, we unfortunately had to wait another ten minutes for the cappuccino from the menu (which we had already paid for). It's a shame, it could be better.

I'm lucky Hans 😍 I'm a vegetarian and they have by far the tastiest vegetarian burgers, everything is always fresh, salad is crunchy and the selection is huge. There is something for everyone, the service is fast, friendly and competent, and the atmosphere is simply a place to feel good.
