Very delicious dishes that you absolutely must try.

As regular visitors to Hanoi Oi in Nagold, we appreciate that it is really the only Vietnamese option in this region—so "choice" is not much of a factor for us. The environment inside is consistently pleasant and stylish, which we always enjoy.On the whole, the food is quite okay, but not always consistent in delivery. Sometimes dishes arrive at the table noticeably too cold, and occasionally lack in flavour, which may especially affect vegan selections. As vegans, we do understand that quality vegan cuisine is not yet a strong point for local establishments, and accept this to a degree.Pricing has always felt comparatively high relative to other Vietnamese restaurants in the wider area, yet we return because the alternatives are scarce. Today, however, we were astonished at the particularly small portion of edamame—by far the tiniest we have ever received anywhere, even though the price remains fixed. This was genuinely disappointing, as value for money is a reasonable expectation, especially in a region with limited vegan dining options.In summary:Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.Food quality is generally adequate, but vegan options sometimes lack flavour or arrive cold.Prices are on the higher side, and portion sizes (notably edamame) are sometimes unsatisfactory.We hope the management might consider addressing these points, which could help turn a consistently “okay” experience into something truly outstanding.

From the outside, this restaurant is unassuming, but inside it's much better. The food is exceptionally good. I was totally surprised and anyone who likes Asian cuisine should definitely visit this restaurant. The staff and service are excellent.

Unfortunately, we were kicked out after 1.5 hours, before we could even order dessert. There were five of us. Apparently, there's a time limit… never again…

We were coming from Stuttgart for a trip and ended up at this restaurant for dinner. Our first impression of the decor and the aesthetics of the space was very positive. We stopped here spontaneously. The ambiance was great. A beautifully decorated restaurant. What we really liked was that they only served Vietnamese dishes. The portions were large and the food was delicious and fresh. A wide selection of great dishes.

very very tasty - super friendly - great sushi

Unfortunately, the food was cold: rice with crispy chicken strips that were as hard as rubber. The peanut sauce was rather runny and lukewarm. The second vegetable dish consisted only of hard cauliflower and a few strips of chicken, also lukewarm. We had sushi, which was good, but almost €55 once. Never again. I'd rather go to Edeka and get a pack of sushi. Very disappointing.

Despite pre-ordering, the food wasn't ready on time, but it was okay. But then to get a 'peanut bowl' WITHOUT peanut sauce is absolutely unacceptable!! I called and complained, but nothing! You could have provided me with the sauce, but no! If I'd wanted dry rice with vegetables, I would have ordered it!! Price-performance ratio = unsatisfactory!

We went there for dinner last night. I love sushi and the food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. We'll be back soon. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Beautifully located and lovingly decorated, Hanoi is a gem in Nagold. The service is fast and exceptionally friendly. The food itself is excellent, very fresh, and our special requests were readily accommodated. We only wish the vegetarian dishes were also available in vegan versions.

The food was very good, nothing exceptional but very fresh and nicely presented. The portions are a bit small, but they're worth the price. I think that's good, so you can still have dessert. The service was extremely friendly and efficient, the ambiance and decor were modern, and the restrooms were spotlessly clean. I'd definitely go back.

Wir waren in den letzten 2 Jahren sicherlich 20 mal in diesem Restaurant. Grundsätzlich gibt es nichts auszusetzen, bis auf wenige Kleinigkeiten, welche aber am Ende aber dazu führen, dass es nur 4 anstatt 5 Sterne wurden. Aber der Reihe nach. Beim Essen gibt es nichts auszusetzen. In der gesamten Zeit sind wir eigentlich nur 2 mal negativ überrascht worden, weil das angebotene Gericht nicht den Vorstellungen entspach, welches die Wochenkarte uns Glauben machen wollte. Aber es war immer noch OK. Ansonsten würde ich dem Essen grundsätzlich volle Punktzahl geben und auch die Preise sind aus unserer Sicht mehr als angemessen, denn an der Qualität der Speisen, Geschmack hin- oder her, kann es keine 2 Meinungen geben. Was aber tatsächlich total nervt ist die Tatsache, dass Reservierungen nur für 18:30 Uhr oder 20:00 Uhr entgegen genommen werden. Das hatte in der Vergangenheit auch zur Folge, dass wir daher eher abends eine anderes von zahlreichen Restaurants in der Umgebung aufgesucht haben. Denn gerade wenn man um 18:30 Uhr reserviert hat, lässt einen das Personal schon eine Stunde später "spüren", dass es bald Zeit ist zu gehen. Das kann man sicherlich besser managen. Noch ein paar Stickworte zum Schluss: Freundlichkeit Mitarbeiter OK, bis auf den jungen Kellner, der echt ultra höflich und zuvorkommend ist. Ambiente nett und gemütlich, aber meistens etwas laut, da stehts voll besetzt. Meine Empfehlung ist der Mittagstisch. 3 Gericht zur Wahl (Fleisch, Vegan, Sushi) und genau das Gegenteil von Abends. Alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett, Umgebung ruhig und Essen lecker und gut portioniert. Nur draußen kann man leicht vergessen werden :-)

Leckere Asia-Küche. Wir gehen regelmäßig ins Hanoi Oi. Unsere Empfehlung: Summer-Rolls, die Sushi-Platten und das Curry mit Erdnüssen. Der Service ist immer fix und freundlich, das Essen immer bekömmlich. Für schwäbische Motto "bis der Ranzen spannt", muss man allerdings woanders hin. Die Portionen sind angemessen, aber nicht überbordend.

One small point of criticism: There are no hot sauces on the tables, which is a shame for fans of a little more spice. In addition, the sauce was a little too generous for the vegetarian dish. Nevertheless, the restaurant offers very good value for money, which is why I would like to come back. Clear recommendation for anyone who likes Vietnamese cuisine!

I've been here several times and overall I liked it. ***Atmosphere nice. In winter it is very drafty next to the entrance door. We sat next to a heater that made a very annoying noise. Toilets could be cleaner. ***Service is mostly friendly. ***Food is delicious, but I have already found chicken twice in the dish HANOI CURRY, in the vegetarian version with tofu. That doesn't work at all! After the first time, I thought that it was just a stupid oversight or coincidence and that I would give the court another chance. But after it happened again, I will definitely avoid the dish!

Schon die Begrüßung war merkwürdig. Statt eines „Guten Abend“ gab es ein vorwurfsvolles „Haben Sie reserviert?“ Die Tische stehen sehr eng und es vermittelt eine Atmosphäre, wie in der Mensa. Dementsprechend laut ist es. Man versteht jedes Wort am Nachbartisch. Bedient wird im Prinzip nur einmal. Danach wird nur noch serviert. Getränke die ausgetrunken sind, bleiben leer. Der Service ist lustlos unaufmerksam - die Preise allerdings sehr hoch. Geschmacklich ist es authentisch und gut, aber auch voller Überraschungen. Die frittierten Frühlingsrollen waren nur lauwarm, als ob sie auf Vorrat frittiert wurden. Das „Beef on Fire“, das einzige Rindfleischgericht besteht aus drei Mini-Hackfleischbollen, die um einen Zitronengrashalm gepresst wurden. 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 137 EUR. Da gibt’s im Umkreise bessere vietnamesische Restaurants. Im Ergebnis enttäuschend und vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unverschämt.

Das Hanoi wird von den anderen bewerten, nicht ausreichend gewürdigt. Im Gegensatz zu vielen üblichen Chinesen und Thailändern ist das Hanoi ein richtig feines, vietnamesisches Restaurant. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Essen wird flott serviert. Wir testen als Vorspeise, vietnamesische Frühlingsrollen, die in vier Variationen angeboten werden. Der Geschmack war ausgezeichnet, fein gewürzt und dazu eine leckere Sauce. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich Reisnudeln mit gebratenen Entenscheiben. Diese waren rosa gebraten und außen leicht knusprig. Dazu gab es ein wunderbares Gemüse und ebenfalls eine tolle Sauce. Auch alle anderen Gerichte waren sehr geschmackvoll hergerichtet und überzeugten alle durch den feinen Geschmack. The quality of the food is good, but ordering over the phone is an absolute disaster. Not once was the order taken correctly. Instead, the predominantly incorrect order is presented as correct without any goodwill. Why not just use numbered numbers for the dishes instead of using some useless letters? Misunderstandings are inevitable.

Very good Vietnamese at slightly higher prices with good service. Drinks: Long drinks, wheat beer and Asian special beers available. Well poured, great opportunity to try Viet beer (Saigon Export). Eat: Tastes perfect, slightly adapted to German palates and not 100% authentic like in Hanoi itself, but a win, especially for a small town like Nagold! Everything is cleverly seasoned, decent portions and enough to choose from. All salads were fresh. Service: Very friendly, motivated, always smiling. The store could be in Asia. Overall great, just a bit expensive in terms of price. It may need to be adjusted differently.

Keine Cherrytomaten, 1 x Süßkartoffeln mit lappriger Championssoße! 2 Scheiben fettiges Siedfleisch teilweise mit Knochen! Einmal und nie wieder werden wir hier Essen holen. Zu teuer, zu schlecht, keine Übereinstimmung mit der Beschreibung aus der Speisekarte. 5 Portionen 5 Enttäuschungen Nie wieder!

We were in Hanoi for the second time yesterday; The first time around a year ago we were shocked at how unfriendly and listless the ladies were. We wanted to give Hanoi another chance, but the unfriendliness remained and was sometimes even worse. The ladies have absolutely no interest in their job, the food was ok, but not for that price. The big thing was that we had to pay something for the disposable packaging to take our “leftovers” with us. For us it was the last time we were there...

Just wow! It has never been so easy for me to give 5 stars. I would have liked to have chosen six, because I can't remember ever being so surprised and thrilled by a restaurant. The inconspicuous exterior belies the beautiful and lovingly furnished restaurant. A half-timbered room was skilfully refreshed with modern elements and modern technology was quietly introduced. The menu reads very tasty and exotic for German tastes. And the palate and the eyes are spoiled when the dishes are served. No 0-8-15 decoration, but visual compositions on the plate that you would expect in restaurants with two price ranges higher. And the taste is simply gigantic. Everything is freshly prepared and seasoned perfectly with herbs and subtle spices to create a culinary delight. If it weren't so far away from us, we would definitely be regulars here!

Went for lunch yesterday. I had M1 Chicken Teriyaki “grilled chicken legs with steamed vegetables” Unfortunately, the food came almost 5 minutes later than that of my companion. The vegetables were cold. I reported this and shortly later I received the same plate of hot vegetables back. In happy anticipation, I took the first bites of chicken with rice. Unfortunately there was no sign of it being grilled. Rather, it was chewy, with gristle and tasted like it had been reheated. The waitress, who was attentive at the time and asked whether the food was tasty, was overwhelmed by my “no” and explanation about the condition of the meat, said “oh” and left. Unfortunately, that was it for my “food” which I then skipped. I still had to pay and in the end I'm judging the inedible food and the substandard service. Unfortunately, price-performance is not justified.

Unfortunately you have to give one star to leave a review. We made a reservation at 6 p.m. - the greeting was as follows: hello, but you have to leave at 7:30 p.m. Drinks were brought after about 35 minutes, and during the entire stay we didn't ask once if we wanted to order anything else. The food came at 7:10 p.m. - we had exactly 15 minutes to eat and at 7:25 p.m. we were asked to pay, even though there were at least 15 free seats in the restaurant. We were neither asked whether it was tasty nor were we offered dessert or another drink. Payment was processed like on an assembly line. With such substandard and unfriendly service, even the best food is of no use! That was definitely our last visit.
