Hammer Döner in Hamburg

I paid for a whole lahmacun, but only received half the contents. The roll was no thicker than a couple of Vienna sausages. I've never received so little for almost €10. I'll never let myself be ripped off here again.

The food is amazing; we've had the falafel plate and UFO doner several times, and it was always delicious. The price is also good for the food.

Unfortunately, the taste is below average.

I had a UFO kebab here; it had a cool shape and tasted great, too. The staff were friendly. It could have been a bit bigger for the price, but you get all the sauces and toppings you want.

The price-performance ratio here is really not right. Sometimes the doner meat even made me nauseous. Generally, the ratios of the ingredients aren't really right either. So, the doner is expensive, but the taste and quality are below average.

Unfortunately, things have declined quite a bit. Until 2 years ago, it was really delicious here

The UFO kebab with falafel was very dry. The falafel was old, and there wasn't enough tzatziki. The halloumi was barely palatable, and we didn't get any sauce for the fries :(

Best kebab in Hamburg! The name says it all – seriously! It's a killer kebab. I always order the veal dürüm with extra herbs and a little bit of cocktail sauce. The dürüm is always perfectly rolled – very compact, yet fluffy and easy to eat. Treat yourself to a visit. It'll be worth it!

Price-performance ratio is not justified. Not recommended.

The falafel and avocado sauce are recommended.

I like going there. First of all, the staff are very nice and friendly. The kebab is delicious, and they have a wide selection of sauces. What more could you want?

It would have been okay for €6, but €8.30 for a rotisserie is a bit cheeky. The meat was dry and had little flavor, the bread was soggy and tasted cheap—all in all, a real disappointment. Instead of a kebab, it just tasted like sauce. Very cheeky for the price.

We ate a vegan kebab here, which was by far the worst we've ever had. The vegan substitute is heated in the microwave and served uncooked in bread. The vegetables were stale and the bread was sticky. We didn't finish it, but we still had stomach aches for hours afterward.

I've eaten here very, very regularly for years and have seen changes in ownership. I've always really enjoyed eating kebab here, but I find it absolutely cheeky that the prices here seem to be constantly increasing recently. Unfortunately the quality doesn't get any better. I can't and don't want to afford it like this anymore. It also depends on who you are served by. Some put very little into the kebab, others significantly more. Finally, extreme savings were made on the sauces and only a little work was done on the inside of the bread. Otherwise, at least some sauce was added to the kebab while filling it. Some employees should be trained again so that they are employed there to sell kebabs and not to hit on us women or something similar. Extremely uncomfortable at times! Another reason why I don't like going there anymore. Especially not alone. Recently I was “accidentally” charged more when paying with my card. When I saw it and spoke to it, it said "ohhh soooorry, I was thinking about Dürüm and entered it wrong.." yes, no, that's clear. Funny that the Dürüm would have been even more expensive. They gave me the difference from the cash register, but again it had a bad aftertaste. Don't want to know how often this "accidentally" happens... Watch your money. It's a shame that things turned out so negatively. I always really enjoyed buying kebab there and especially love the kebab bread with sesame. But unfortunately I will stay away from this store in the future..

Unfortunately it has worn off brutally

I'm a regular customer and have been looking at it for 3 months now and it's really getting worse day by day! A certain employee sold a Pomdöner with only meat for 10 euros and little meat and the kebabs were getting smaller and smaller. People please don't go there anymore, I really celebrated the store, but now it's gone bad and only because of this employee. PS: I've been a regular customer for years The last rip off

Very tasty Dürüms and kebabs. At fair prices. There are also salads and burgers. Nice staff. Seating is good.

Doner kebab prepared without love! Simply slap the sauce over a sauce onto the kebab and you're done.

Got the wrong food delivered and now no one answers the phone!! It doesn't work at all!

I ate kebab here for the first time on December 18th, 2024 and I have to say it tastes so delicious, it's really great. The meat is so delicious WoW. The whole thing for €7 is damn good, everyone eats there. I'll come back to eat kebab anytime now 😉

Ate a kebab here today and I was really impressed. Not only the high-quality meat (no minced meat) but also the delicious sauces and the fresh vegetables convinced me so much that I ordered a small one afterwards. It's also great that the vegetables and meat are mixed together beforehand so that you don't end up with that familiar mountain of meat at the end of the kebab. Very tasty here.

I ordered Iskender and fries. Was very disappointed with the food. Fries hard, cold and dark. Iskender, the yogurt was carelessly made next to the meat and bread. I know Iskender as layered with bread, meat, yogurt and sauce.

I've never been served such a bad kebab plate! The order was completely mixed up, everything was wrong. The meat was bland and cold, the fries were of poor quality. Additionally, the service was terrible. So “Hammer” is different. Not recommended under any circumstances.

Racist establishment. Ordered a kebab and I like all the sauces on mine, but apparently you have to stick to the one sauce rule. The man made a whole scene asking me "6 different sauces?" While customers stared. I said yes, then he proceeded to say "African behaviour" and then spoke to his colleague in Turkish. A customer is a customer, and ordering as many sauces as one would like shouldn't be a problem if you're getting paid. Wouldn't come here again, better off at the one right inside the train station.

When I'm hungry for a kebab, I love going here! The owner and staff greet you directly and are extremely friendly. No matter whether I order a kebab, dürüm or kebab plate, it tastes delicious every time! The menu offering is easy to manage and is even available in three sizes! The shop seems clean and you can also eat on site.

I don't understand the other reviews here either. Food is delivered lukewarm and incorrect. During the subsequent phone call, the boss thinks he will then have to discuss things with his paying customer. If you don't read correctly, I can't help it. Ordered there for the first time and never again! I can only recommend it to everyone, otherwise you will regret spending your money there!

You can sit relaxed and have everything in view! The breakfast is also ok and very cheap!

I bought a Kapsalon from you a while ago. I come from Rotterdam and unfortunately what I got is not a traditional Kapsalon. There was no gratinated cheese, the usual garlic sauce was tzatziki and the fries weren't cooked through, what a shame!

All kebab dishes tested. Everything really doesn't taste good...

The guys are super friendly, fast and make really delicious food. Doner kebab great, kebab plate great, lahmacun great....and then a portion of baklava :)

Döner plate was ok, meat and salad were pretty bland, lacked a bit of flavor, sauce and fries were tasty, staff was very friendly.

Falafel was just unbearable... It's like eating dried soil! Probably was staying there for a loooong time to get to such condition...

Oh my god, what happened to you?! The kebab was really disgusting today. The meat was completely gristly and disgustingly seasoned and had a strange aftertaste. I don't particularly like the fact that you always have to mix everything together before putting it into the flatbread.

Workers are super nice and always find something to eat for you when you're unsure:) it's just 30 meters down the road from Hasselbrook train station. They also have a bakery inside. Let's support this local place! My food was chicken, potatoes stew with rice and salad for €7

Essen ist echt lecker und passt auch vom Preis. Sauber und ordentlich.

Ich habe selten einen Döner mit so wenig Geschmack gegessen. Der Dürüm Teig war sehr lecker, aber das war es leider. Ich hatte ziemlich fettiges, ungewürztes Fleisch (gemischt). Dazu trotz 3 verschiedener Saucen gefühlt kein Geschmack.

Wirklich der Beste Döner den ich jeh gegessen habe 12/10

Heute (Sonntag, 14.30 Uhr) haben wir hier lokal einen Dürüm mit Hähnchen, Döner mit Kalb, Ayram und Pommes bestellt und vor Ort gegessen. Vor uns ein Gast. Gleich vorweg, Essen war Bombe, genauso wie das Personal. Super freundlich, witzig und gut gelaunt. Die Zubereitung ab Bestellung ging super fix. Döner hätte ein super leckeres und knuspriges Brot, die Cocktailsaucen super lecker. Der Dürüm mit Tzaziki mega yummy. Pommes heiß und knusprig. Das Essen war nicht nur lecker, sondern sah auch super aus. Es gibt dort einige Sitzplätze innen und außen, die sich dort wohl mit der Bäckerei geteilt werden, die zu diesem Zeitpunkt aber geschlossen hatte. Die Tische waren sauber. WC nicht besucht. Klare Empfehlung. 🤤 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sehr leckerer Döner, finde die Auswahl zwischen Poulet und Rind sehr gut. Sehr sauberer Laden und das Personal ist auch sehr gut drauf. Würde ich weiterempfehlen 😉

Vor knapp 2 Wochen hatten mein Freund und ich eine abnormal leckere Reisbox mit Falafel, sodass wir heute wieder gekommen sind. Leider scheint es aber darauf anzukommen wer die Box macht. Heute bestand sie gefühlt nur aus Zwiebeln mit Zwiebeln, Falafel und drei Reiskörnern (überspitzt gesagt). Leider aber einfach kein Vergleich zum letzten Mal :-(

Super leckerer Döner, was ich richtig gut fand war dass das Fleisch und der Salat vorher in einer Schale gemischt wurde, so hat man in ganzen Döner das Fleisch nicht nur obendrauf wie bei den anderen Döner Buden, und vom Geschmack her war der echt super lecker 😀😀
