A living-room atmosphere with very nice decor. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. Even when the place is full, you hardly have to wait for your food.

My absolute favorite restaurant. I discovered it in February, and since then I've been having a Ham An dish once or twice a month 🥰 Honestly, usually the 61, because it's simply my favorite food. Plus the mango pudding 🫰🏻

A really wonderful restaurant with a great selection of dishes, fair prices and a beautiful interior. Even without a reservation, a place for two people was found after a short wait. The only small drawback: the high background noise. However, we will definitely come back.

A real treat every time!! I really like it here... Small restaurant and very clean. The service is extremely friendly and quick. Four of us had dinner here in the evening and, funnily enough, we all chose the same dish, number 65... grilled chicken breast with sweet potatoes and a side salad. I'm very glad I made a reservation because this little restaurant is buzzing. No wonder !! Thank you for the excellent food and the nice service. We had a great evening in a beautiful atmosphere with a feel-good factor.

Food completely over salted. Service didn't speak German/English, she always had to get her colleague. The entire restaurant smelled like kitchen, extremely stuffy air. Thanks, 1x is enough.

Evaluation: The food was good, but not outstanding. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere has lost some of its coziness due to the large, open space, but is compensated for by good music and relatively nice furnishings. Overall, a place that you can definitely try out, but without having too high expectations.

The food there is great, the service is always friendly and quick! The only drawback: depending on where you sit, it can be quite drafty, from outside but also because of the air conditioning being turned up. Unfortunately there is no possibility to sit outside in summer, but that is due to the location.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. I like to eat Vietnamese food regularly and know many good places in Hamburg - but here I was served by far the worst pho. The beef in the soup was full of gristle and fat, just inedible and disgusting. Unfortunately, when I mentioned this in a friendly manner, the staff didn't seem particularly insightful or try hard. All in all a very disappointing experience. That's why I only give it one star.

The food and drinks were really tasty and the staff was super friendly. The ambience is not too big, but it is chic and comfortably furnished. So the perfect place to have a delicious and relaxed meal with friends or family :)

Stable Vietnamese. All dishes were delicious. A bit much mayo in the HamAn Bowl. Beef could be a bit more tender in the Pho. Overall, complaining at a high level. Had a great evening. You can sit comfortably here for a long time and sip the excellent homemade lemonade🍹.

Friendly staff. Attentive, orders and questions were taken professionally. Food came quickly. You sit comfortably. A different light would certainly make it even more cozy. Portions generous. The udon noodles were a bit too oily/slippery for my taste, and for just under 17 euros as a whole dish they were not in proportion to the performance for me. Drink prices, on the other hand, were fair. Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly staff.

My fiancée and I come here regularly. We came here before we got engaged and will continue to come here as long as this restaurant remains open. We tried almost the entire menu and were so enthusiastic about many of the dishes that I felt the need to thank the chef himself more than once and look over my shoulder to maybe learn how to cook like that. Our favorites are the Ham An Bowl with duck/shrimp/salmon (all variations are delicious), Rice it Up, the Ham An Platter with salmon or chicken and the peanut curry. But the drinks, for example Guava Heaven (a homemade lemonade), are also completely convincing. This restaurant manages to bring me closer to the cuisine of a country in a wonderful, familiar and delicious way. In short: the dishes and drinks are beautifully prepared, taste fantastic and taste typical of Hamburg. Not too expensive, not super cheap. The employees are incredibly friendly. We are there about twice a week and it is always well attended. Rightly so. I've also been here with my three-year-old nephew and he also felt very comfortable and was a big fan of the sweet potato fries. Oh and there is a fantastic selection of gluten free options! very unfriendly for children! our child was just playing and not making noise, but they kept saying our child was noisy. even though the music was louder. our child's voice was just like people chatting. we have also told our children not to be noisy. but are children just children. how can they be as quiet as statues?! seriously. if children are not allowed to eat here, they should have said so from the start. when our order arrived there was hair! the taste of the pho was very ordinary. the price was not cheap, not expensive. but seriously we will not be back again. if you have children aged 2-5 years old, it is better to find another Asian restaurant! Sorry

Not for family with little Kids place. I think you should ask first if they are accepting children since they don’t like it when the kids are loud sometimes. First experience and disappointed. Better to say at first if you don’t want kids coming rather than let them quiet.

Perfect, always friendly and fast service, the prices are fair and the dishes are great. You can tell that professionals are at work here, the vegetables are nicely chopped, fresh and well cooked.

Relatively new Vietnamese at the Winterhude market. Very tasty Pho Ga and a fantastic Bun Bo. Plus tasty fruit ice cream drinks. Fast and friendly service. All of this means that the restaurant is usually very busy. To be on the safe side, call ahead to see if there are still places available.

Really above-average good and lovingly prepared food and a creative menu that, in my opinion, stands out clearly from the Vietnamese restaurant around the corner. Also great service and friendly service. Only the noise level was a bit high.

Vietnamese restaurant Ham an, opposite Hudtwalkerstrasse U station. Small, clear menu. Authentic dishes, and of course the Pho soup, a national dish in Vietnam. had Xao sa ot, chicken with vegetables, very tasty. Good portions and fair prices, friendly service!

The food was (actually) very good and the service was very friendly and helpful. The order was taken quickly and was on the table just as quickly. Unfortunately, only two points were unpleasant. I ordered Spice it Up. Peanuts are not mentioned among the ingredients and allergens. But there is a mountain of peanuts on the dish that I had to laboriously remove. Secondly, I asked for the dish, which according to the menu was already supposed to be spicy, to be very (emphasized several times) spicy. In the end, however, it wasn't even spicy, but rather a level of spiciness for a German toddler. The food still tasted very good, but it just wasn't what I ordered. The jasmine tea was very good. All in all, a generous 4 stars, but if you were careful you could easily get 5.

Overall, everything was just right. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long, despite the house being full. The atmosphere was pleasant and the rooms looked nice and cozy. The food was also convincing and really tasty. The sauces in the dish were really very good and the ingredients all tasted fresh. In terms of price, everything was perfectly reasonable and we would be happy to come back.

The food has always been good but... Unfortunately, portions are getting smaller and smaller. In addition, I had to return my fish dish the last three times because, despite asking me to fry my dish thoroughly (due to pregnancy), I only ever received half-cooked salmon. After that the food was actually just fried black. The main boss always seems to be nice and trying, the other employees seem rather indifferent and confused. The toilet smells all the way to the restaurant entrance door, which is unpleasant. In addition, I was no longer allowed to take advantage of the lunch offer at 2:45 p.m. even though it was stated until 3 p.m. It's a shame that the service here is so lacking. Unfortunately you won't come back there.

The ventilation is very poor and when we asked the waiter for help his behavior was extremely rude.

Disappointment once again today. The two of us came to the almost empty restaurant. An hour later, hungry and with €10 less in our pockets, we left an almost full restaurant with fully catered guests. After 40 minutes we asked the busy waitress about our order. She said to take care. Another 10 minutes later we asked again at the counter. "Food is coming, food is coming". When we left the restaurant 15 minutes later, we were told when we were paying that the order receipt hadn't come. No apology and not the first time. It's a real shame, but if it works...

Yesterday I was in this restaurant for the second time and I have to say that the quality is consistently high. As in most restaurants, the prices for the starters are a little better than the main courses in terms of value for money. When it comes to the main courses, I'm sometimes not sure whether they'll fill you up straight away, but of course this also gives you the chance to try other things. The service is very nice and friendly, the furnishings are really up to date and beautifully selected. The store only opened two years ago, but you can already see that the paint is peeling off in one corner or two, so something could be done about it.

Not far from the Winterhuder Fährhaus, this restaurant, which appears inconspicuous from the outside, is a real insider tip. Super friendly service and delicious food at a fair price. The homemade lemonades are also delicious.

Yesterday, after a performance at the Winterhuder Fährhaus, we ate at Ham An. The service is very warm, fast and flexible. The ambience is beautifully decorated and invites you to linger. The spring rolls with shrimp and chicken are perfectly fried and very tasty. You can't go wrong with the duck with oyster sauce, but it's standard. Unfortunately, the Pho with tofu had its weaknesses. The broth was very weak and tasteless. We drank the cocktails and homemade iced teas more sophisticatedly in similar restaurants. Therefore a solid Vietnamese, where the price is right but there is still room for improvement in terms of taste.

Just a stone's throw from the Hudtwalckerstr subway station. located, the “This is our happy place” shines at you from the entrance area. I was here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was medium full. The chairs are very comfortable, the furnishings are great. There is a lunch menu, but nothing about it spontaneously appealed to me, so I looked at the main menu. It was difficult to choose because some things sounded great. I then decided on the vegicado curry and the salmon. And the Pinky Spice as a drink. I was skeptical about the raspberry juice, but the mix of sweetness with the spiciness of the ginger - wow, really good. The food was great too. The sauce was so delicious that I could easily have used a double portion of it (and that doesn't mean that the sauce was skimpy). The vegetables were fresh and varied. And the salmon was on point. Price-performance ratio is right here. The service was very friendly and quick.

Great restaurant with a very good menu. All dishes are basically vegetarian or vegan. An addition can then be chosen, which can be either tofu, shrimp, duck, chicken or beef. This means that every dish is suitable for vegetarians. I think that's a good idea that I've rarely seen. I will be happy to come back.

Ich hatte gebratene Udon Nudeln (scharf) mit Gemüse und Garnelen bestellt. Die Nudeln waren nicht gebraten, sondern in Sauce, sehr wenige, kleine Garnelen… und süß statt scharf. Das andere Special Rindfleisch war auch eine kleine Portion. Preis–Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Bedienung sehr freundlich, aber an Reklamation uninteressiert. Räumlichkeiten gut.

Sehr leckeres Essen, toller Service. Bei den derzeitigen Temperaturen würde sich ein Vorhang im Eingang sehr bewähren. Auch warme Teller würden dem Essen sehr gut tun.
