highly recommended for hiking, cycling or just walking. When the hut is open, I recommend stopping and enjoying it.

Our visit to Ballebäuschen was, all in all, very enjoyable! The service was outstanding, friendly, and very accommodating. The "Greeting from the Kitchen" was not only delicious, but was automatically adjusted based on my vegetarian starter and main course orders. I received a vegetarian alternative. I found this very thoughtful. Overall, the food was delicious and of high quality. You can tell that an experienced chef is in the kitchen. We can recommend the restaurant to anyone without hesitation and hope that it maintains this high standard even after the head chef retires next year. :) Best regards, Sophia & Daniel
