Leckeres friesisches Fassbier und dazu verschiedene Snacks. Sehr zu empfehlen der Reibekuchen und die Fischsuppe.

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Es ist Selbstbedienung. Sie bestellen und bezahlen und erhalten einen Pager. Wenn es klingelt, ist Ihr Essen fertig. Und Sie können es abholen.

Eine schöne Location direkt am Wasser, um einfach bei einem leckeren Getränk die Ruhe zu genießen. Es gibt kleinere Snacks sowie Gerichte, Softdrinks sowie Cocktails und alles was man sich sonst noch wünscht.

Sehr schön gelegener Gastronomiebetrieb am alten Hafen in Weener. Hier gibt es unter anderem auch "Bruno Eis!" Und die Aussicht auf das Wasser und den alten Hafen ist sehr schön. Es macht Lust auf mehr,wenn man den Booten (Schiffen) beim ein-oder auslaufen zusehen kann.

Die Currywurst ist nicht zu empfehlen, war wirklich nicht essbar.

Wir hatten Gäste in Weener mit längerer Anreise, daher hatten wir frühzeitig einen Tisch bestellt und dann am Vortag eine Absage bekommen, dass geschlossen bleibt. Sehr schade, wir mussten uns dann kurzfristig für eine andere Location entschieden. Über das Essen und das Ambiente kann ich somit nichts sagen. Sicher ist, dass das Hafen 55 damit auch potentielle Kunden für weitere Termine verloren hat.

Ein toller Ort für einen schnellen Kaffee oder ein ausgiebiges Mittagessen. Köstliche Pizza, Lage direkt am alten Hafen, bequeme Stühle – was braucht man mehr zum Entspannen?

Kleiner feiner Hafen mit Marina. Essen im Hafen 55 super lecker und frisch. Gute Auswahl an Fischgerichten und auch aan anderen. Im Außenbereich Selbstbedienung. Hunde sind kein Problem. Klare Empfehlung

Nach unserem Besuch im Hafen 55 in Weener hatten mein Mann und ich in der Nacht und am nächsten Morgen beide Übelkeit und starken Durchfall. Ob die Ursache tatsächlich das Essen war, können wir nicht sicher sagen, der zeitliche Zusammenhang ist jedoch sehr auffällig. Diese Erfahrung möchten wir teilen, damit das Restaurant die Qualität und Frische der Speisen überprüft.

Wir waren heute im Rahmen des Hafenmarkts dort.

Ich war gestern mit einer Verabredung im Hafen 55 essen. Grundsätzlich hat uns die Location am Hafen gefallen, allerdings war der Ablauf des Abends insgesamt enttäuschend. Beim Bestellen wurde uns erst vor Ort mitgeteilt, dass ab 19 Uhr ein Eintritt von 5 € pro Person für eine Live-Band anfällt und man das Lokal ansonsten verlassen müsse. Da unser Essen sehr spät kam, blieb uns kaum Zeit, in Ruhe zu essen. Wir haben uns dadurch gezwungen gefühlt, den Eintritt zu zahlen, um überhaupt bleiben zu können. Das Essen selbst war leider nur noch lauwarm bzw. kalt und geschmacklich nicht so gut wie bei früheren Besuchen. Dadurch konnten wir den Abend nicht entspannt ausklingen lassen. Insgesamt war die Erfahrung diesmal leider nicht überzeugend, vor allem wegen Organisation, Timing und Qualität des Essens an diesem Abend.

Ich bin mit zwei Freunden zu Fuß aus Bunde gekommen. Ich hatte eine Flasche Wasser dabei, weil es sehr heiß war. Wir kamen in die Bar, bestellten drei große Biere und zwei große Pizzen. Plötzlich erschien ein Mann und nahm einfach meine Wasserflasche weg – man kann es eigentlich als Diebstahl bezeichnen – mit der Begründung, dass man keine eigenen Getränke oder Speisen mitbringen darf. Das verstehe ich grundsätzlich, aber ich habe die mitgebrachte Flasche überhaupt nicht benutzt. Wir haben Pizza gegessen und Bier getrunken. Deshalb war das sehr unangenehm und unfreundlich.

Schönes Ambiente direkt am Hafen.

Toller Hotspot in einer Sonst verweisten Stadt. Habe schon lange in keiner Stadt mehr soviel Leerstand oder geschlossene Geschäfte gesehen. Deshalb ist das Bistro im Alten Hafen sehr zu empfehlen. Toller Ausblick ins Hafenbecken. Relativ grosse Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke. Aber Nur SB Service. Das heißt Bestellen und wenn es Piept Abholen. Ansonsten sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Lecker Essen und direkt am alten Hafen.

Schönen Tag am Hafen und zum Abschluss hier verbracht.

Ambiente 1 mit Sternchen. Essen war sehr gut. Käse/Lauchsuppe sehr empfehlenswert. Pommes waren nicht meins, da ich eher 9x9 oder 11x11 und nur mit Meersalz mag, aber das ist bekanntlich Geschmackssache. Auf jeden Fall waren sie schön knusprig. Sollte ich mal wieder in der Gegend sein, seid ihr meine erste Anlaufstelle.

Urige, gemütliche Kneipe direkt am Hafen in Weener. Als Sitzmöglichkeiten dienen normale Stühle, Strandkörbe, halbe Boote oder Badewannen. Am Essen gibt es nichts auszusetzen, alles in Ordnung. Ein wirklich netter Treff am Hafen..

Lage top, aber sehr überladen, rummelig, unordentlich - da muss mal Grund reingebracht werden und alte Sperrmüllsofas, Nippes hier und da weggeworfen werden.Auf mich wirkte es Messimäßig.( Als Ärmel hochkrempeln und alten Ramsch wegschmeissen) Weniger ist mehr.

Richtig coole Lokation im Hafen! Mal etwas komplett anderes! Schön das sich in dem Ort, mit SEHR viel Leerstand, getraut wird, etwas auf die Beine zu stellen!

Hier gibt es etwas ganz besonderes- die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig und lässt einen auch über Kleinigkeiten hinwegsehen…..

Wir haben wegen der hübschen Aussicht auf den Hafen hier eine kurze Pause gemacht und eine Kleinigkeit gegessen. Das war bei dem schönen Wetter (+15°C und nur ganz leichter Regen) eine feine Sache, denn man sitzt ja draußen. Wir konnten uns nur schwer wieder aufraffen und auf die Räder schwingen, denn bei dieser netten Atmosphäre viel der Abschied schwer. Trotzdem, die Nordsee ruft und wir müssen ja auch noch zurück ins Ruhrgebiet. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind, dann werden wir bestimmt wieder hierher zurückkehren und was Leckeres essen.

Das Hafen 55 in Weener überzeugt vor allem durch seine angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre mit maritimem Flair. Man merkt schnell, dass hier viel Engagement und echter Wille zur Umsetzung dahinterstecken. Der Eigentümer bringt spürbar Tatendrang mit, vieles wirkt pragmatisch gelöst, nicht geschniegelt, aber funktional und durchdacht. Auch wenn hier und da noch kleine, charmant unperfekte Details durchscheinen, wird das durch Freundlichkeit, Einsatz und eine tolle Atmosphäre mehr als ausgeglichen. Und als wäre das nicht genug, bekommt man hier Schwimmbadpommes, wie man sie eigentlich nur aus den besten Kindheitserinnerungen kennt. Insgesamt ein Ort mit Charakter und positiver Energie.

Zur Eröffnung gab es eine kleine, aber feine Speisekarte, um die hauseigene Eisbahn vor dem Lokal zu feiern. Wir wussten, was uns erwartet, also kein Problem. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, das Interieur charmant und die Lage direkt am schönen Hafen sehr einladend. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, hoffentlich gibt es beim nächsten Mal auch Bratkartoffeln 😉

Heute war Eisbahn angesagt. Auf der Homepage stand mit heißen Getränken Kaffee und mehr.... Der Gast musste draußen sitzen bei eisiger Kälte und im warmen war Betriebsfest von der Location. Es gab heißen Glühwein und Kinderpunsch. Kein Kaffee heiße Schokolade was Gäste und Kinder wollten. Sehr schade.

We had a delicious steak with warm vegetables and roasted potatoes. A pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff.

Escaped the shopping crowds of fellow Dutch people for a while. Charming little harbor.

The food was disappointing. I had a rump steak that was completely overcooked. My wife had a schnitzel that looked like a piece of leather. I don't understand how they could mess that up, it was a real shame. It was a very messy place. It must be very pleasant in the summer. In the fall, it's a real nightmare. I think the chef was on vacation.

Always happy to come back to Hafen 55 It's simply delicious. The staff is super friendly. Highly recommended. :)

What a lovely spot by the harbor. The food is excellent, and the terrace is very inviting on a sunny day. We'll definitely be back!

A quaint location with a maritime flair. A cult spot.

The place is a cross between an event location (live music) and a low-standard snack bar. Since the chef is from the Middle East, we ordered the oriental lentil soup for €6.90. We got two cups of brown broth with a bit of parsley. Zero flavor, thin consistency. It was a complete disappointment and the price was outrageous. We love oriental cuisine and had a corresponding idea of ​​what we had ordered. It had nothing to do with what was served. The next table ordered the fish platter for €30. What was served was a bad joke and these guests were also dissatisfied. What a shame. The poor service rounded off an overall very disappointing experience. Conclusion: We may come back to listen to music, but certainly not to eat something.

My second attempt at a fish sandwich, unfortunately I didn't take a photo. But you almost had to search for the Bismarck herring under the slice of cucumber and the slices of onion. I call that a rip-off and a disgrace for €4.90. I can't understand it. That was the last time. Too bad.

A lovely terrace with a maritime theme, situated on the waterfront, with friendly staff and affordable prices. Definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

A really nice restaurant where you can enjoy a meal on the terrace. A bit alternative, but very pleasant. Great location in Weener. Plenty of campervan sites nearby. It's self-service, which I personally find ideal.

We arrived at Hafen55 with our motorhome through "Landvergnügen" and were greeted warmly by the staff. The venue is cool and offers plenty of seating. We even enjoyed a live music performance that evening. The memory card has a large capacity, and the self-service menu works well with dongles. It was delicious, too. If it's on our way again, we'd love to come back.

Port 55 – I can fully recommend it!

Very tasty food and a unique ambience.

The friendly service staff were obviously off work or had already finished work... we received little attention at the order taker, let alone a smile or even the time of day. When we said "Moin" we were met with just a blank stare and the drinks being placed down without eye contact. We should have skipped the food, but we stuck with it. Wiener schnitzel, which of course was only "Wiener Schnitzel", wafer-thin with a thick coating, a convenience product with no taste. Plus fried potatoes and a small salad for a whopping 18 euros without service, because at Hafen 55 you have to get your own food and clear away the dishes like in a youth hostel (only the food usually tastes better there). That would have been fine if the price-performance ratio was right. We at least will be avoiding this hospitable place in the future.

Great harborside bar with lots of flair. Live music at 🍺 🍻 is great. It's a great place to sit under large umbrellas or in beach chairs. Delicious food at a good price. I'd love to come back.

A very quiet place to sit and relax

One of those random discoveries... right on the water, a view of a few boats, beach chairs... and kibbelinge! If that's not a reason to stay! Great ambiance, especially inside. No service, you order your own food/drinks, pay, and are handed a small piece that signals after a short while when you can pick up your order. Very convenient (and saves on personnel costs 😉)... Impersonal? Nope - very, very nice people both when ordering and when picking up! Because you can sit in a beach chair and eat delicious kibbelinge... 2nd visit August 2025: still a TOP recommendation

Favorite vacation spot 🥰 Self-service restaurant with a maritime flair, outside in a beach chair or lounger. The food is freshly prepared, so there's a bit of a wait, but we're happy to accept it. Very friendly staff. Giant portions of ice cream. Everything at fair prices. We enjoyed the live music on the weekend. It's simply lovely here, and we'd love to come back next year.

The redfish from the Pannfisch (pan-fried fish) was glassy, wobbly, and not chewed thoroughly. The fried potatoes were lightly browned on the outside, firm on the inside, and almost raw in places. To top it all off, I had stomach problems. Unfortunately, the food is not recommended.

A nice place to casually enjoy a drink or a meal. Plenty of beach chairs for seating. Events also take place on some weekends. Always a pleasure to come back, just to unwind.

Paid for a large salad but received a small one. Returned it, and it was supposedly a "mistake." Then the salad was SWEET! Inedible!

The location is wonderful. The atmosphere is very pleasant in the evenings. However, outside it's very confusing and chaotic.

Don't expect a restaurant. It's self-service, and you can't make reservations, but there are plenty of seats. You can sit in a completely unconventional beach chair, deck chair, half-sawn bathtub, or half-boat. Of course, there are also chairs and beer benches. We just had a fish sandwich and bitterballen, which were delicious 😋. The only downside was that the coffee was a bit weak.

A lovely place to linger and enjoy. Didn't eat, but everything served at the neighboring tables looked delicious.

Absolutely, a great spot. Unfortunately, it's not completely level. But you can manage. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Great idea, but very poorly executed. Potato salad probably prepared in a plastic container, with so much apple cider vinegar that the plastic flavor seeps into the salad. Not my taste. Lots of old, worn-out furniture, the kitchen, and the ordering window were dark and messy. My drink with orange pieces also had three fruit flies in the glass. ... Thanks, no, I won't be back.

Aside from the very friendly staff, the setting is simply stunning and invites you to linger and unwind. Always worth a visit ☺️

Where the landlord is still king! Saturday, May 31, 2025 Bicycle tour, after 26 km, hungry. Lunch break in Weener, most of the restaurants closed. In the harbor, we stopped at a restaurant called "Hafen 55." First impression: "Meh!" (Beer garden: imagine a pile of bulky waste with old showers and bathtubs, worn-out plastic in the form of gazebos, a few umbrellas, and other junk, or something like that). My wife's comment: "I don't think I want to eat here." That would have been a good decision, too! Nevertheless, we ordered two burgers with fries and drinks at the window counter (there was no table service). We were allowed to pay immediately (€39.80), received the drinks, and a pager. We found a shady spot under an umbrella (it was a very sunny and warm day), waited patiently for the pager to go off so we could get our food. (Hungry) The beeper beeped, and I got the food. That looked pretty decent. Portion size OK. Okay! Now, let's get to the meat. Taste: Satisfactory, Quality: Burger paddies just about adequate, fries a bit too hard. Considering you had to get the food yourself and even put the dishes back, that was quite a hefty price. So we sat there and ate, making the best of it, so far... As we had already observed while waiting for the beeper to beep, an employee, under the landlord's instructions, was struggling to position the umbrellas next door so that they wouldn't get in each other's way, albeit with limited success. ...and then the unbelievable happened! I simply can't believe it. My wife is still totally shocked! You're sitting there eating, and then, unbelievably, the innkeeper comes along, the innkeeper who hasn't even given his guests a second glance, let alone greeted them, and says, yes, and tells us to step aside for a moment; he wants to fold up the umbrella, mind you, the umbrella under which we were sitting and eating (great, that rhymes), precisely that umbrella. You're stunned, aren't you! But it got even better. When I objected that he shouldn't do that, and my wife protested that we were eating and were guests, the innkeeper made the legendary remark that we shouldn't make such a fuss, he'd be finished in a minute. And then it actually happened. He, the innkeeper, folded up the umbrella. We reflexively pushed our plates aside—who knew what might trickle down from the umbrella? We fled to the next table, speechless, completely perplexed, shocked, almost tearful (one can exaggerate a bit). The landlord chattered on, followed by a brief argument. Unfortunately, I can't say anything more about the content, except this: The landlord: "You don't have to act like a king when you're in East Frisia!" Said the North Rhine-Westphalian (the landlord) to the East Frisians here in beautiful Weener, in beautiful East Frisia, where the landlord is still king. Well then, good night! In short, absolutely not recommended!!!!!

An underrated treasure trove for culture freaks! Great restaurant for East Frisian delicacies. Very diverse, authentic, and cleverly designed rooms and outdoor area. Wherever you look, you'll find something to explore, be it bottle boats, seafarers' diaries, maps and diagrams, currencies from distant lands, an outdoor cabin, or simply the perfect location at the historic harbor. Fish, baked, fried, or fresh, is plentiful. Meat and other dishes too. Something for everyone, even vegetarians :). Events and live music can also be found here and there. Very friendly, wise staff. It's such a shame that such lovely places are gradually disappearing for economic, political, and bureaucratic reasons. I hope you stay! Great!

So somehow it all seems chaotic and poorly thought out, at least in my opinion. The tables could be wiped down and a little more attention to detail wouldn't hurt. In addition, placing an order was very difficult due to communication. We had a tarte flambée and a matjes roll. The tarte flambée was OK, the fish roll was terribly bad and I couldn't eat it. The employees in Ditzum could take a look at how fish sandwiches are prepared correctly.

We always enjoy going there. It's a shame that Hilmer is closing Hafen55. Maybe there is still hope.

Very good tasting food. You order your food at the counter. It doesn't take long before you can get food from the table in front of the kitchen. Pizza from the wood oven was very tasty. Flammkuchen various toppings, also highly recommended. You can sit very comfortably either in beach chairs or covered on a couch. If it gets cold, there are enough blankets available. There is often live music on the weekends. The genre changes. In warm weather there is also delicious ice cream. The balls are 1.50 large compared to ice cream parlors. All in all, recommended. Prices are reasonable. Portions plentiful.

Very nice company, a dream when the weather is good. But... you go on a bike ride and don't know what to do with the open beer. I was picking up food, financing the store, while I had a purchased beer in my seat, and my open can of beer was simply handed out to me by the boss himself. Very rude and unfriendly.
