Haberfelder im Ulmer Wirtshaus in Ulm

The food was delicious, but nothing special. It's down-to-earth fare, served only lukewarm. The service staff seemed very overwhelmed. When taking our order, they used very bold remarks to point out that we weren't allowed to order a cola wheat beer (the beer and cola came separately). To order more drinks, we had to hunt down the staff, as all the empty glasses and bottles were still on the table until the end.

Sentence with X, that was nothing. Call from the train asking whether a table for two people would be available from 8 p.m. Answer; "Yes, you can come" at 7:55 p.m. we were offered a place at the counter or outside! We then preferred the hole mill, which was a much better decision!

Unfortunately not recommended, we couldn't get a seat despite making a reservation by telephone!

Nice Bavarian style restaurant. Salad was great. The Kässpatzn weren't like that, but I've had that in many restaurants. Still tasty in taste. Recommendation.

Very nice atmosphere, great food, good portions. I walked out with a very full stomach. I had an onion roast, which I generally eat, and it was really medium rare, as it should be. Was very satisfied and definitely recommended if you are hungry. Consistently warm food and good types of beer with a very good selection.

Very disappointed about the way they (one female staff) treated us. Judging by the review we went to this restaurant and was taken aback by the behaviour of one of their female staff, when we humbly asked if there was a table for two, she very rudely said NO and that’s it. When we further asked if outside tabels were possible she said yes. It was only after a while it hit us about the way she behaved and we couldn’t leave after that(as it would have been rude to leave once we occupied a table). It was very unwelcoming of her and as a tourist we felt discriminated. However, other staffs were friendly and the food was good.

Great, down-to-earth restaurant with a varied menu and excellent beer - friendly, attentive service included.

The price is not exactly cheap, but you get really good food (there are also some dishes for vegetarians and a vegan dish is also offered) with large portions, a nice, rustic atmosphere and very nice staff. Definitely recommended! :)

Hearty, very good cuisine in a cozy atmosphere with very friendly staff. Everything is a weng in Bavarian... Cordon Bleu and Currywurst were very tasty. Unfortunately, the currywurst was lukewarm, which I personally didn't like - but it didn't harm the taste of the sausage ☺️ Will definitely come back 👍

We have been there several times and will come again. The food (roast pork and cordon bleu) was super tasty and the portions were also large. The service was excellent and very friendly. You feel welcome. The Haberfelder is highly recommended.

We were satisfied. At first my wife's salad was very annoying, but we got a new one and the mishap was resolved. Thank you. Otherwise my vegan citizen fries were good. The portions are very large.

If you want to spend a cozy, quiet evening, you shouldn't go out to dinner on a SSS Ulm (football) match day. A lot of drunk fans fill the restaurant with noise. To make matters worse, a drunk lady threw up in the entrance area. As a starter I chose Obazter and a lukewarm, very dark, hard pretzel was served, which I thought had been warmed up again. The main course was beer roast with two types of dumplings and Bavarian cabbage. The roast was cut very thick and so tough that it was almost impossible to eat. The whole dish got cold very quickly because it was served in an unheated enamel dish. Still tastes good.

We really liked it in Haberfelder. There is hearty, traditional Bavarian cuisine with classics such as roast pork or ox - everything we tried was very tasty and authentic. The portions are generous, so you'll definitely be full. The atmosphere fits the concept well: rustic and cozy. The service was friendly, but a bit inattentive - after the starter it took a long time for the main course to arrive. Overall, a recommendable restaurant if you're in the mood for hearty home cooking.

Tourist magnet. Food OK, beer is Augustiner, you can't go wrong. Sometimes there is a longer waiting time until you are assigned a table. Service but friendly.

Both the food and service (by Marion) was amazing! I ordered the Mustard and Horseradish Schnitzel with Potato Salad and my husband ordered a regular burger. The portions are exceptionally large, as demonstrated by the cake pan in which my schnitzel was delivered. It was so tender and delicious. I hear the burger was quite tasty, too. By the way, you can order a smaller portion of schnitzel but my husband assured me he would finish whatever I did not. Well, he could not. I hope you come and try.

Fair and good. You can really enjoy it there. Delicious Augustien beers and the best of pork, beef or chicken. Great ambience, the seating is a bit cramped, but it's fine. Sanitary facilities ok, service top. Price-performance ratio ok. Gladly again.

A great, rustic restaurant at the “entrance” to the Fischerviertel. Very rustic and comfortably furnished and worth experiencing. No matter whether you just want a beer or a meal: you just feel comfortable here and can really sit down. When it comes to food, the price-performance ratio is right and even the eyes eat too. Lunch was very cheap and tasty.

Unfortunately not convinced... Waitress was very friendly... my food... roast ox was very tough and barely chewable... I didn't quite understand the cold potato salad in the warm gravy either. Very tasty and, above all, fresh food, always a pleasure. The staff is very friendly and always on their toes. We really enjoy eating here with our children. In Ulm you can still eat well, there is a large selection and quality, simply top compared to Göppingen.

Food was very good. Service very nice. Ambiance very cozy. However, there was a bit of chaos because there were too many people and a lot of things got mixed up when we were billing. But still highly recommended

The food portion is very large, and the pork knuckle is not a portion that most people can finish. But the service is very good, you can take it away if you can’t finish it. You can also swipe your card. The store is very empty at noon and there are many seats.

Rustically beautiful, beer from a wooden barrel, portions that can feed a whole family. Absolute recommendation!

Super delicious food served top

Food was ok but unfortunately nothing more. The burger was tasteless and came with almost no sauce and was way too expensive. The portions are very large and hard to manage. I think it would be better if it was a little smaller and cheaper. Cheese spaetzle were also rather bland. The currywurst was really spicy. Service was good, atmosphere was good. Still not what I expected based on all the reviews.

Went to dinner last week. My husband had a pork knuckle and I had a schnitzel. The food was very good and a lot. Everything was tasty. The service was friendly and the place was quaint. We'll be back. The price was right too

You do not have to have any reservation here. The atmosphere is good. Foods are also good. Service is the best.

We had dinner there today. Starter Obatzter: very tasty! Main course onion roast: a dream!! Plus an Augustiner from a wooden barrel: what could be better? The attentive and very friendly service rounded off the lovely evening. Thank you very much and keep it up

The food is middle class, because the cheese in the Käsespatzen has no taste of its own and only a little. The salad consists of loveless so-called freshcut salad from the bag. It doesn't taste like anything and has been pre-cut by the factory for days. In my opinion, the sauce for roast roast is packaged. The dessert was served unappetizingly on a blue metal dustpan with canned whipped cream and cheap vanilla ice cream. You can eat anything, but it's nothing special. The small, full-figured waitress with the bright blue hair is quick, but only partially friendly. Then why not go to Barfüsser!

I came here with a group of friends back in 2022 when I was studying abroad in Ulm. Our German was very limited but the waiter was super patient with us and let us take our time to figure out how to order. It was my first time trying Käsespätzle and it was very delicious. The ambiance was super chill when we went and my friends and I had a great time!

You'll find a damn good restaurant here. From the food to the service, I would personally say: almost everything is right here. The ambience invites you to sit longer and enjoy it all. It's not for nothing that it has so many positive reviews. I have a clear recommendation.

Just great :-) we were there for lunch. The food was as delicious as at home at Grandma's, cheap for lunch and still plentiful. The service was super friendly, it was cozy - I haven't felt so comfortable eating out in a long time and we'll definitely be back. Keep it up. And: it was German cuisine - when we were looking for a restaurant, we noticed that it was becoming increasingly difficult to find German cuisine. Therefore: keep it up!!

They are Saarlanders and really enjoy coming here. The staff is so attentive and friendly, the team works like it's pulled together, just Kalasse. We particularly noticed Luigi, simply the best, always quick and in a good mood. We love Haberfelder❤️

Very good restaurant. The food is great and the service is friendly. Food: very plentiful. The map is manageable but sufficient. Vegetarian: rather small selection and one hidden by the children's faces. Another dish like mushroom pan or kohlrabi schnitzel or vegetable meatballs and it would be great. And also a very, very good 4.9. Highly recommended.

Between Bavarian and Ur-Bavarian with a touch of “We also like to party” it’s still the right place for anyone who wants to go out for a hearty meal. Good cuisine and great price/performance ratio. Staff is attentive and very friendly. Anyone who is lucky enough to sit in Luigi's service has scored a major goal. 😉

Very nice place, huge portions, delicious food and Luigi is the best waiter (super lovely and funny). We had the pork knuckle, venison ragout and burger - all fantastic. Also try the traditional schnapps from Prinz as a digestive. We‘ll be back :)

We had dinner there today on Boxing Day, we had a really small place, two benches for 6 people had to get an extra chair, others were 6 people and had a large table... Staff was very nice, food and The price was very good, except for the Kaiserschmarrn, which tasted like schnitzel fried in fat, which was really disgusting, a real shame.

Hello I was alone in the city and happened to walk past looking for something traditional... no problem Ordered food and drinks...everything was served very quickly.... The service was always very friendly and attentive!! The portion is more than generous and it's cozy inside on the upper floor even with live music... very cool

Great Bavarian brasserie for tasting typical dishes (like Spätzle with good mountain cheese). The beers are good and the service is done with a smile. What more could you ask for?

We really enjoy eating here. So far I have tried the burgers, schnitzel and roast ox here. Burgers and schnitzels were perfect. Unfortunately the roast ox was very dry, which is why the food was given 4 stars. Otherwise a very nice atmosphere with great service.

Food is ok but not great for the price. Too many seats in the upper area, if someone wants to get out of a bench the whole row has to stand up, which makes it extremely loud and warm. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately I fell for it twice with the food. 1x cordon bleu and 1x duck. Both were very expandable. Otherwise the service was great and the place has something.

I think it's hearty, good food. Served strangely on a wicker wire rack with tiers. But when it comes to dessert on the dustpan, it's no longer to my taste. In terms of price, I think the Cordon Bleu with a maximum of 300 grams is already a statement at almost €32. The knuckle is very large and costs around €24. The service had to put the dirty dishes right at the front of the table so that he could take them with him.

Typical, original Wirtshaus with german, bavarian style. Very friendly staff, good service, central location with parking availability nearby. Prices are ok. A warm atmosphere.

Delicious food in a beautiful location with hefty prices

Whenever we are in Ulm, we come here to eat. Large portions, very tasty, beautifully presented food, super nice waitresses who clearly enjoy their job. We have had a very nice stay here several times.
