Ha Noi Red in Frechen

Very tasty soups, grilled fish, and pasta. The only thing I didn't like so much was the salad, but everything else was delicious! Good patient service and a beautiful interior ☺️ And the prices are good too; you can really eat for 10-20 euros per person.

We wouldn't have paid any attention to the place if we were walking by, but when we searched online for a local restaurant, things turned out differently. We were delighted to find an Asian restaurant whose simple ambiance we really liked. The food was excellent, the service top-notch. The only drawback these days is that they only accept cash payments. We'll be happy to come back.

Restaurant very clean and honest from Hanoi. When I ate the soup pho... Mmmm, memories from Vietnam immediately came to mind ☺️ The staff was very nice, I will visit you more often and recommend you to others.

The restaurant was well attended. It took 30 minutes for two drinks to finally find their way to the table. Drinks and food were ordered at the same time. We waited over an hour for the two dishes we ordered (main course only) and when the food finally came it was the wrong dish. We then ate it because we really didn't feel like waiting anymore.

Great little restaurant that is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and the food is really delicious. The duck was really very crispy and the sauce was very good. Price performance absolutely fine.

I spontaneously got hungry on the way home and ended up here. What a find! Rustic, cozy furnishings with great attention to detail, two extremely friendly waitresses and the food was delicious. We'll be back.

The Ha Noi Red in Frechen impressed us across the board. The restaurant is stylishly furnished, with a charming mix of Vietnamese tradition and modern design. The atmosphere is cozy and you immediately feel welcome. We started with Tom Chien, crispy prawns in tempura batter that were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Ga Sate – chicken skewers with aromatic peanut sauce – was also impressive. For main courses we chose Bo Xao Xa Ot and chicken in tamarind sauce. The Bo Xao Xa Ot, tender fried beef with lemongrass and chili, was wonderful. The chicken in tamarind sauce was tender and juicy. The service was attentive and quick. The food was served quickly and the staff were always friendly. Ha Noi Red is a restaurant that we can fully recommend. The combination of delicious food, harmonious ambience and good service makes every visit an experience. We'll definitely be back.

I never thought I'd find the best Asian restaurant I've ever tried in a suburb of Cologne I found myself in by chance. I always remember pakchoi soup, so good and comforting, more so than my grandmother's broth. The spaghetti is also superb. Honest prices.

Reservations are accepted and confirmed and then the doors are closed. It's nice when you meet up with friends and everyone has a journey because Frechen is in the middle.

First the positive: nice staff and the shop is also nice and cozy. We ate there about 3 years ago and were satisfied. We then picked up several dishes a few weeks ago and unfortunately all 4 dishes were not tasty at all, 3 people threw away more than half of them. All the curries were just watery coconut sauce with no taste. The vegetables were completely overcooked and soggy, the chicken was slimy, everything was drowned in way too much sauce that really didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately, a spicy dish in a dark sauce didn't taste good and wasn't even remotely spicy. Sorry, but unfortunately we'll never go there again...

We ate here for the first time today and it was really delicious. The dimsum was very good and the summer rolls were also very fresh and tasted really great. For main course we had crispy duck and crispy chicken with peanut sauce. Both very good and with perfectly cooked vegetables. The service was nice and quick (although it doesn't always have to be quick, we think). We will be back definitely.

Very good food. Had red curry with duck, noodle salad with tofu and udon soup with beef. Lassi and the elderberry-mint-lime cocktail were also good. Great ambience.

Since we like to eat Asian food very often and this Vietnamese resto had good reviews and looked appealing on Google, I wanted to try it out. Very authentic and beautiful atmosphere from the outside and inside. The service was nice but not really motivated. The portions were very small and the food was way too spicy and too expensive. Our conclusion: The ambience was worth a visit but unfortunately the food was not.

Very good Vietnamese in a great ambience and you will be treated to authentic Vietnamese dishes at fair prices. On our first visit, the service was a bit overloaded and it took a long time for the order to be taken and delivered.

The drinks and food were really great and the atmosphere was very good. It is a bit tight in the long room, but that just means you should reserve in advance. There are only deductions for the fact that the conditions took forever and you had to wait so long.

Very tasty and varied dishes. The flavors and aromas always seem to be different. The food is also very nicely prepared. Clear recommendation after the third time now. Parking spaces are a bit difficult to find. No card payments, but Paypal or cash.

Been here a few times. Always dine in without reservations. Never seems to be a problem with walk in as many people seem to order take out. Food has been excellent on all occasions thus far. Service is also great. No kids menu but staff provided extra bowls and tableware to share items. Portions are pretty large so no problem to do this. Parking is not so easy but tram station is literally just in front of the store.

The food was very good, as was the service. If you want to eat with more than 4 people, you should make a reservation because there are only a few tables for more people.

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal im Ha Noi Red essen. Beide Besuche waren sehr gut. Wir hatten alle verschiedene Gerichte und Vorspeisen. Alle Gerichte waren authentisch und es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall weitere Besuche machen. PS: Das Restaurant verfügt nicht über sehr viele Sitzplätze, daher wird eine Reservierung wärmstens empfohlen.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Die Dame im Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Sonderwünsche wurden leider nicht umgesetzt mit der Begründung, es würde sonst nicht schmecken :(

Das Essen im Ha Noi Red ist immer sehr gut. Wir lieben die heißen Suppen, die Salate, Scampi in Tempura und die knusprige Ente in Tempurasosse. Die Inhaber und alle Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr freundlich. Wir empfehlen das Re sehr gerne. Vielen Dank.

So far I have made 2 visits to Ha oi Red for the Pho Bo. Cosy atmosphere, great food, and good service. The menu is written in Vietnamese, German, and English. The waitress could also speak all 3 languages, so no problem if you are unsure about a dish.

Wir lieben das Hanoi Red und sind Stammgäste. Essen & Atmosphäre sind wunderbar. Allerdings haben wir eine kleine Bitte an den Küchenchef: Etwas mehr Gemüse wäre fein, daß ist etwas weniger geworden mit der Zeit. Und bis demnächst wieder!

Wir haben heute 1 1/3 Stunden auf unsere esenslieferung gewartet! Um dann das fast komplett verschüttete essen entgegenyzunehmen ! Die Tüte war unten voller Suppe! Einfach unverschämt! Wir erwarten eine Entschädigung! Wer mit dem liefern nicht klarkommt T, sollte es besser lassen.

Wir sind sehr positiv überrascht, meine Partnerin und meine Wenigkeit. Damit haben wir nicht gerechnet. Sehr sehr nettes Personal das Essen total lecker und Ambiente, ist echt einfach super schön, kann ich nur empfehlen und Preis Leistungsvergleich Mega günstig. Ich gehe oft vietnamesisch / laotisch essen. Mit dem Essen im Ha Noi Red bin ich sehr zufrieden. Wir bestellen als Gruppe häufig vor. Das klappt immer sehr gut.

Ein wirklich schöner Restaurantbesuch bei schönem Ambiente. Es wurde versucht uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Einen kleinen Stern muss ich leider abziehen, denn ein Gericht, dass nicht scharf bestellt wurde, wurde jedoch mit gewohnter Schärfe an den Tisch gebracht. Bis auf diesen Fauxpas war das Essen allerdings sehr lecker. Wer asiatische Biersorten probieren möchte wird hier ebenfalls fündig.

Das Ambiente ist sehr charmant und gemütlich und das Essen wirklich sehr lecker. Bin oft da und es ist jedes Mal ein Genuss.

Richtig toller kleiner Laden. Wunderschöne Dekoration! Aber erst das Essen: Wirklich köstlich! Ich kann den Tofu in Tomatensoße empfehlen, aber ehrlich gesagt es sah alles Klasse aus. PS: es wird auch der "berühmte" Papayasalat angeboten. Leider bekommt man den in Deutschland nur selten auf der Karte zu Gesicht.

Ein kleines süßes Restaurant in der Nähe der Fußgängerzone. Eignet sich sowohl für die Mittagspause, als auch zum Abendessen. Wir waren Mittags da und es war gut besucht. Preislich ist es völlig in Ordnung. Der Service ist sehr zurückhalten und man muss schon etwas auf sich aufmerksam machen, aber ok. Das Essen war richtig lecker und eine große Portion. Die hausgemachte Limonade ist etwas zu teuer, da steugt man besser auf normale Softdrinks um.Ich komme aber auf jeden Fall wieder .

Das erste mal heute dort gewesen und mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte mal. Super Adresse um Vietnamesische Spezialitäten zu genießen. Für mich als Veganer absolut top. Super Service und Spitzen essen in authentischem Ambiente.
