H-Run's Kitchen in Ulm

The food was good, but the saleswoman was very unfriendly; her face was full of hatred. I thought she was racist because I was wearing a hijab.

I visited Abyssinia in Ulm and I have to say – it was something completely different. Ethiopian cuisine offers truly interesting and, for my European palate, unfamiliar flavors. The combination of spices and ingredients was exceptional, slightly spicy, but absolutely delicious. You can tell that the food is prepared with a great deal of authenticity. The staff was very friendly and attentive; I felt very welcome. At first glance, I found the prices a bit high, but when you consider that many of the ingredients and spices must have been specially imported, it's ultimately understandable. Overall, an exciting culinary experience that's definitely worth trying – especially if you're open to new flavors.

I've been there quite often in previous years, unfortunately that's why it only gets a low score.
