I was there last Sunday and had to wait an hour for a Coke, well, I didn't think that was great.

Very nice location, friendly staff, fresh and delicious food. I was there with five colleagues, we ordered different dishes, and everyone was very satisfied. Good value for money, reasonable prices. Definitely worth eating there.

Unfriendly. We were turned away because of our small, very quiet dog. We won't be back.

I ordered lamb chops, and they were grilled perfectly, very delicious 😋, for 20.9 euros. Cheaper than in big cities.

I never normally write a review, but I have to here! Redesigned! A push button to open the door, no more handles covered in germs. I was craving gyros... The place was packed!! I was prepared for a long wait. I placed my order, and after a maximum of 3 minutes, everything was ready! My respects to the team!! The food was, as usual, absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!!

I've had the pleasure of enjoying the excellent food from Gyros-Grill Herborn countless times! "Snack bar" doesn't really describe this place anymore. It's an institution for lovers of Greek food. My only problem here is that I have to choose something when ordering...everything is simply delicious! The team consists of absolute professionals who passionately prepare a feast for the palate for their guests—whether they eat in or takeout. The portions are generous, the ingredients always taste fresh, and the price is always fair. Sometimes the place is completely full, so there's nothing left to do but takeout and eat at home, but the dining space has its limitations. The same goes for parking. Don't be afraid to walk 200 meters from the parking lot if necessary. But the good food quickly makes up for all the effort.

Always a treat! The food is delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. I drive here regularly from Wetzlar and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!

It was very good, the souvlaki was a bit dry, and the gyro plate was highly recommended. As for the soft drinks, get the large size; it's worth it.

Unfortunately, it's become too greasy and salty for my taste. But overall, it's still okay. Very busy. They've raised their prices several times since then.

We've eaten here many times, usually on Sundays. The restaurant is always busy. This is obviously due to the good food and the friendly staff. I also like the original ambiance.

Funny, where is my last review? Quantity over quality, essentially just mass processing. Flavors tailored to the Central European palate. But it has nothing to do with authentic Greek cuisine. Not recommended. €13 bill, €20 paid, a €5 note given, and the change given only hesitantly.

A kebab with a Greek flair or a Greek kebab with a kebab flair. You can choose :) The fact is: These are typical Greek dishes, but served with kebab meat. Very nice place. It's both a fast-food joint and a nice restaurant. Top-notch service, then. The absolute highlight was the bathroom. They definitely spared no expense and it was very clean. You can tell they care about their customers. The price was a bit higher than a regular kebab, but it wasn't too expensive. The only negative point: The food was very tasty, but unfortunately only lukewarm when it arrived. And one of the two plates was cracked in several places.

The restaurant has clearly lost quality... We used to enjoy eating there, but with each visit over the past few years, it has gotten worse and worse, and the quality has significantly declined. It's a real shame... We won't be coming back...

Unfortunately, not recommended for dog owners. During our vacation in the Westerwald, we were warmly welcomed with our dogs in all the restaurants. Here, we weren't allowed in with our dogs. Well, okay, we visited the really friendly and delicious Italian restaurant nearby. It wasn't a problem there.

Cannot manage to release pre-ordered items properly

I didn't get what I ordered. I ordered an unfilled bifteki, but I got a filled one. I also ordered without salad, and the plate was still overflowing with salad. If I had just ordered a plate of tzatziki, I would have had the same result, but at least I would have had something to eat. Also, the fries were raw and not seasoned at all. ...

I wouldn't eat there again. Maybe order and takeaway.

The food is still good and delicious. However, the prices were adjusted again in April 2025, "slightly," as we were told. The large gyro plate now costs a good 17% (!) more (price increase from €11.90 to €13.90). Unacceptable, considering that the last price increase, from €9.90 to €11.90 (a 20% increase), was only in January 2024. You get the feeling that these young people are making money and want to make a killing. So we're not going there anymore and are now eating at the Greek restaurant in the small neighboring town for the same price.

Gutes und leckeres Essen nach wie vor. Jedoch wurden die Preise im April 2025 erneut "geringfügig" wie man uns sagte, angepasst. Der große Gyrosteller hat jetzt locker 17% (!) an Mehrkosten (Preisanstieg von 11,90 auf 13,90). Unakzeptabel, wenn man bedenkt dass die letzte Preiserhöhung von 9,90 € auf 11,90 € (ein Plus von 20%) erst im Januar 2024 war. Man hat das Gefühl, dass die jungen Leute Geld verdienen und die Sau schlachten wollen. Wir gehen daher jetzt nicht mehr hin und essen jetzt beim Griechen im Restaurant des kleinen Nachbarorts zum gleichen Preis.

Just a little bit expensive, but other restaurants have also become accordingly. But always happy, just not as often as before.

The atmosphere was really nice, unfortunately my food was very greasy, you could have drunk a pure bottle of oil, unfortunately I couldn't eat it. Unfortunately the waitress couldn't understand me. Unfortunately my mother's pizza wasn't cooked properly either. Despite having to pay full price for leaving hungry.

You can get very good Greek food in the family-run restaurant. The service staff is friendly and takes care of the customers. Extra or special requests for the dishes will of course be fulfilled.

The best gyro grill ever. 👍👍 I'm sticking with it, we've been going there since it existed. I don't want to take back my 5 stars, but I was still very annoyed today. The door opens with a push button, we pressed it and the door only opened a crack. When we opened it by hand we were spoken to directly. Please don't. No problem for us. However, a young lady became very unfriendly and said that funny things happen to everyone. If we hadn't had an appointment with several people there, we would have left the grill. Completely rude and excessive. You shouldn't be so unfriendly, I know the customers are running into the place, but you should still treat everyone in a friendly manner.

The food hasn't changed, great as always. But in the meantime..... Like in a train station hall, we were there shortly before Christmas, really bad, very loud. And the two girls who served.... Oh dear....... Took the plate away from the neighbor who still had two things on his plate. We.... We just needed something else when making the selection... The "ladies" came twice, we probably weren't quick to order and then "disappeared" again. Greek hospitality used to be very important there
