We spent a great day yesterday at the new flow trail in Kiedrich and then found "Wibbes" on Google, along with its many good reviews. If you're also arriving via Google, DO NOT turn off; the restaurant's parking lot is on the main road! About our visit: We had a very cozy seat under the vines, the food was incredibly delicious (we had salmon, feta cheese, fried fish, and schnitzel), and the service was friendly and prompt! We would love to come back. Please note: "Wibbes" only accepts cash; there is no equipment for cashless payments. :-)

I definitely recommend this restaurant if you enjoy down-to-earth, delicious, and generous food. The dining room is certainly showing its age, but hey, the food was delicious (schnitzel and chicken breast), the wine was excellent, and all in all, it was worth the price. The service was very competent, patient, and friendly, even with challenging guests! Aside from all the tourist stalls nearby, this is a real alternative that's more than worth a visit. We'll go back when we get the chance.

I've been there twice now and all I can say is: top-notch! Great food, excellent service, and absolutely nothing to complain about. The fusion of German and Balkan cuisine is amazing! And Rheingau wines to go with it. We'll definitely be back again.

We happened to be in Kiedrich today and despite many guests because of a local event, it was no problem finding a place. The food was excellent and I really have to praise the extremely friendly service staff! Gladly again

Great food, everything was good until the bill came. We gave friends a voucher that unfortunately expired three weeks ago. The voucher was paid in advance. It was not redeemed because it had expired. We dined with a group of 20 people and were regular guests here. This is not legally permissible, which is one thing. The other thing is the extremely unfriendly manner in which we were dealt with. We cannot understand such behavior. Unfortunately our last visit.

We have eaten there very often and have always been satisfied. Ambience very modest, authentic, typical Gutsausschank. Service is always friendly and the food is simply delicious. Thank you very much and see you soon

Today we were tourists for the first time at “wippes” in Kiedrich. We were greeted very friendly. The selection of food and wine was very good. We chose a Riesling Kiedricher Sandgrube. For dinner, my wife ordered Spundekäs and I ordered Handkäse with music. This was the best hand cheese with music that I have eaten in the Rheingau. Since 2016 we have been on holiday for a week in the Rheingau in September. We would be happy to stop at “wippes” again.

Unfortunately, despite there being free tables - we were the first guests, nothing was marked reserved - we couldn't choose: they didn't want to serve at the tables outside, too far for the waiter (son), only inside. When I asked whether a table on the covered, adjoining terrace was also "inside", the lady of the house first answered in the affirmative, but then asked her son (whether it was inside, inside?), but he didn't want to serve there either. We then left Wibbes without trying the cuisine that has been so repeatedly praised here. We had already noticed the service and the implementation of guests' wishes. The guest is king - not the host or the whims of the waiter.

Nach unserer Lama Wanderung mit der Kisselmühle waren wir hungrig und suchten eine Einkehr auf dem Rückweg: und siehe da, wir fanden einen schattigen gastgarten mit freundlicher Bedienung und äußerst leckerem selbstgekochten Essen, kein Convenience. Der Fisch war frisch und knusprig, der Kartoffelsalat saftig und würzig. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Freundliche und unkomplizierte Bedienung, gutes Essen (wir hatten Champignonschnitzel sowie Sülze, jeweils mit Bratkartoffeln), das Schnitzel in XXL für einen sehr moderaten Preis. Der Salat war ebenfalls recht groß, jedoch war zu wenig Dressing beigefügt, der Salat somit etwas trocken. Man sitzt sonnengeschützt im Eingangsbereich des Hauses; kein unnötiger Schnickschnack, sondern eine bodenständige Gastronomie! Klasse Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, absolut empfehlenswert.

Andrej, ein wahrer Gönner ;) Nein wirklich, sehr schöne, ruhige Location, sehr nette Bedienung (sowohl Mutter als auch Sohn) und das Essen ist sehr liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckt auch genauso gut. Nach einer Wanderung genau das richtige. Und die Preise sind auch mehr als angemessen. Große Empfehlung, wir kommen bald wieder!

Rustikales Ambiente, äußerst freundliches Personal und super leckeres Essen. Wir hatten die Dorade und Ochsenbäckchen und waren von beiden Gerichten begeistert. Und die Weine sind selbstredend ausgezeichnet!

Einfach super lecker 😋 Hervorragende Bedienung

My family had an amazing meal on our visit from the US. When we called to make a reservation and asked if they spoke English, the response was “of course.” We were given excellent food and wine recommendations by our server, Andre. He not only was a great server but was so fun and spoke excellent English. He even allowed us to take a photo with my cousin at the end of the meal…Andre is the one on the right. We have visited both Germany and Northern France on this trip and this meal was the highlight.

During our stay in the Rhine region we visited Gutsausschank Zum Wibbes restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with the variety of food offered. There was a short wait for the table given that the restaurant appears to be very popular with the locals and constantly full. It was worth the wait - food was delicious and the wine matching made our stay even more enjoyable. It was definitely a good value for money and if we ever visit the region again, this charming restaurant will be on our radar! Highly recommended.

Ob Salat, Handkäs', Schnitzel, Hacksteak, Rumsteak oder eine Spezialität von der Tageskarte, wir können nur empfehlen alles zu probieren. "Zum Wibbes" ist unsere Anlaufstelle Nr.1 wenn der Magen knurrt!!!

Der Laden ist nicht umsonst immer voll/ hier passt eigentlich ( fast) alles - das Essen ist qualitativ wirklich gut und preisgünstig , die Auswahl ist auch ausreichend/ die Weine sind ganz ok und günstig/das Ambiente ist ganz ok innen wie außen, aber kein Traum => dafür ist das Parken im Hof prima möglich und und es sind eigentlich ausreichend P-Plätze vorhanden. Also Fazit: die Location ist empfehlenswert, wir werden wieder kommen!
