Very tasty, not overly spiced food, delivered on time by a very friendly father-son team. Good Arabic cuisine with a great variety. We'd be happy to return!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I was really looking forward to a different kind of food (Arabic). The dish, however, contained inferior boneless pieces of meat (not half a duck), very fatty, and over-fried, so that the special spices were barely noticeable. There was no duck leg, and the duck breast was not consciously detectable. Therefore, in my opinion, the dish shouldn't be called half a duck. So far, when I order half a chicken, I've always gotten half a chicken. Of the five vegetables listed, only carrots were included. Peas were missing, and green beans had been replaced with strips of bell pepper, which I avoid. Likewise, instead of cauliflower, which is one of the reasons I chose this dish, there was broccoli, which I absolutely dislike. It might be interesting for allergy sufferers. Since I wanted to avoid tomato and bell pepper sauce, I chose a dish without these sauces. However, the accompanying sauce tasted very strongly of tomatoes, which I found surprising. I imagined a different flavor when I called "special sauce," although I wonder where the distinction might be between it and the dishes with tomato sauce. The lentil soup was rich but rather bland, perhaps not enough salt? People from Saarland are probably used to a rather flavorful lentil soup thanks to Maggi. The giant portion of rice was very tasty. The four baklavas were cut tiny and therefore far too expensive. Elsewhere, you'd only get two. The opening flyer promised a 10% discount for phone orders. However, this discount was not granted. When I inquired by phone, I was told that prices had increased and the discount could no longer be offered. Customers should order online, where the prices are up-to-date. However, a comparison revealed no discrepancies. As the economic rule says: When prices rise, consumption falls. Conclusion: The starter (soup) and main course are only available as a package.
