Update : if you try to figure out why the air conditioning takes 30 minutes to turn off, you will discover that it is just very very dirty. if they find out that you had the audacity to inspect the air conditioning to ask for it to be cleaned you get a warning on your door. indeed the air conditioners cannot be closed since they are at the end of their life (I would like to point out that the first one opened by itself, the second one I actually took a precaution and opened it myself) A memorable customer experience --- At 100€ per night we could honestly expect better. a functional wifi to begin with (we must assume that it does not exist, from 6 p.m. it is unusable). The rooms are OK, nothing more, it remains a very old decoration, and minimal equipment. The restaurant and like the rest, correct but expensive for what it offers. the walls are made of cardboard (room 119) and it was a brilliant idea to hang the neighbor's television there (just above the bed), so if he decides to watch television until 2am, too bad for you. generally speaking, the hotel resonates in all directions. every door that slams or footsteps from above resonate. it is really very noisy The windows are absurd, do you have only one window with mosquito net for 3 windows? just why? Does it cost that much? it is very very expensive sold for modern standards

The rooms are a bit old, but completely fine. The breakfast was a disappointment.

The rooms were functionally furnished. The bathroom could have been a little bigger. The location itself was good, but it wouldn't have hurt if, for example, the "bicycle barn" had been swept through.

Beautifully located, a great piece of earth... Unfortunately, the hotel is running on staff on a budget. The golf course was closed in 2023, so this clientele will be missing. But cyclists and also mechanics. We were on the EmsRadweg and spent one night here. The reception was not staffed, but we were informed about the procedure by email. Key card was available, room was clean and in order. The restaurant was open (Wed to Sun) and the rump steak was perfect. Good wine, wonderful evening outdoors, just beautiful. Nice staff and great ambience at reasonable prices. I can recommend 👍

Unfortunately, the terms “good” and “golf park” in the name of the hotel are totally misleading. Anyone who relies on the facade here will be disappointed. This has nothing at all to do with a golf park but is simply an outdated trucker and construction worker shack. And I don't mean to offend hard-core truckers or construction workers at all. The impression created here is simply a deception. The forest, the building etc are actually all really beautiful but the breakfast is a total joke. Three slices of cheese, scrambled eggs and two slices of cucumber are the selection. I have never experienced such a blatant savings offer in an accommodation. The WiFi is simply non-existent in the rooms. That's really a total disgrace because not even the simplest pages can be opened. The rooms as a whole are getting old. So if you are expecting business accommodation here, you should be prepared for moments of extreme frustration. Management seems extremely frustrated. Instead of serving a little more fresh vegetables at breakfast, the cars are lined with flower pots at night to express that these annoying guests shouldn't park their annoying cars in front of the accommodation but rather in the pitch black corner behind the pond! How to stagger the 100 meters through total blackness remains a problem for the customers. All in all, it all seems pretty strange and wild. Oh right! It's also cool that the restaurant is closed half the week. Says a lot too. So for dinner you can first see for yourself how you get along. Golf hotel...😂😂😂 that's really not normal here hey! A very clear tip: no one has to go to the store voluntarily.

Spent a quiet and relaxing weekend there. Large, clean rooms. Reception is not staffed all the time. Restaurant offers solid food, dogs are allowed in. Will come again.

We were at Gut Düneburg in March. When we arrived on Friday afternoon, we were surprised that no one greeted us and there was no one at the reception. After waiting for some time, we went looking for written information. It was in the mailbox at the main entrance door. Then we went looking for our room. The room and the bathroom were OK and clean. In the restaurant opposite we could eat in the evening and have breakfast in the morning, but there was no information about that beforehand. On Sunday morning the reception was very nice There was a lady who informed us about everything. We were the only guests. At first we had an uneasy feeling but we got used to it and felt very comfortable. The surroundings are very beautiful and invite you to go cycling and walking. There is one at the hotel Horse paddock and it makes friends to watch these beautiful animals. All in all a relaxing, lovely weekend.

We were there for a few days at the end of June. We really liked it, the staff were friendly. At breakfast we were always able to speak to the staff if something was missing and it was filled straight away, we always had breakfast later. 😂 We had our dog with us and everything was great there too. Located in a quiet and beautiful area. If we are near Haren again and the hotel has rooms available, we will be happy to come back. 😊

We were only at the restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the order, but the nice service employee did everything she could to make it right. The food itself was delicious, the atmosphere was really nice.

We really liked it here. Spontaneously spent a long weekend here over Pentecost. The hotel is in one building of Gut, the restaurant is in another building. Our room is bright, quiet and neatly clean. The restaurant is decorated in a great atmosphere with old work tools. Staff overall friendly, attentive, hardworking. The estate is generally struggling with a staff shortage.

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to inform you of my extremely disappointing experience during my stay at the Hotel Gut Düneburg. First of all, I was shocked to find that the reception was never manned during my entire stay. Not only does this leave the impression of a lack of security, but it also allows potential thieves to walk freely around the hotel. The fact that the door was open further compounded this problem. Furthermore, the staff, when they were available, were extremely rude and unhelpful. This added to my discomfort and significantly diminished my experience at the hotel. As for the food, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The rolls were by no means fresh, and the eggs and sausage also left a lot to be desired. The conditions of the rooms were also unacceptable. The furnishings appeared old and worn, and there were even blood stains on the furniture. This is not only unhygienic but also extremely disturbing. Last but not least, I would like to mention the presence of numerous silverfish in my bathroom. This is absolutely unacceptable and indicates a lack of cleanliness. Due to these serious shortcomings and the disappointing experience I had during my stay, I unfortunately cannot help but announce that I will never stay at your hotel again. Visually very attractive system

I spent about 1 1/2 weeks at the Dünebürg Golf Park because I was doing business in Haren. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. Normally I rarely write reviews, but the current reviews are very misleading and out of date. Basically, I understand a lot of things and don't have the highest standards, but in this case I just wanted to describe the current situation. 1. The breakfast selection is very limited. The rolls are just over-baked, crumbly and dry. The scrambled eggs and the bacon are only freshly prepared once and, purely from a feeling, are not refilled. The same applies to the selection of sliced ​​vegetables as well as sausage and cheese. After a short time, the scrambled eggs and bacon boiled over in the warming container. Basically, breakfast isn't particularly important to me and is sufficient if you get up early and are the first at the buffet. 2. The rooms are outdated and outdated. The main light in the room didn't work and the bedside lights were incredibly bright. These had to be dimmed manually. There are around 3 programs running on the small TV, the WiFi reception barely reaches the room (in my case) and unfortunately there is no mobile network here either. There was therefore no internet connection in the room at all. Except in one corner of the room, it's not even enough to send a text message. If you don't have to stay in the room and you're just using it for sleeping, it's almost ok for a few nights (depending on your expectations). But really nothing more. 3. An important point when choosing a hotel: the driving range. This should have been a nice way to pass the time after work (unfortunately the 18-hole course is no longer in operation). A token for 25 balls costs €2. Since the review is almost never busy, you first have to call the hotel to purchase it and if you're lucky and someone is actually there, you'll get the tokens handed over after about 15-20 minutes of waiting. When I filled the buckets with the first 25 balls, I discovered that there were at least 10! were completely broken. The balls could actually be easily torn in two. The rest was incredibly worn, dirty and most of the balls were almost completely smooth and rubbed off. The integrated tees are missing almost everywhere on the mats. However, if you find a usable golf ball in the basket, you can hit balls onto the range without any worries! After this session, I moved my golf to the golf course in Lingen, 30 minutes away. When I spontaneously wanted to hit a few (any) balls on one of the last evenings, the hotel called me again and told me that the ball machine wouldn't work. There would be no way to get any balls that evening. Basically, the golf experience here was an absolute disaster. 4. The theoretically still playable 4-hole practice course, which also has tees, is unfortunately no longer maintained. Due to the lack of usable balls on the range, I used it briefly, but this is not recommended. The grass is tall, the greens are broken, earthy and full of branches. However, this is only marginal information, as the place is no longer maintained. A few positive things about the Düneburg Golf Park: The location is really nice and the brick buildings give the property a cool feel. There is also a nice forest path that you can use to walk along the old golf course. The associated restaurant, which is unfortunately closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, is good. The room is cleaned every 2 days and towels are changed. Conclusion: Definitely not recommended (currently). With a golf course the rating would perhaps be different, but unfortunately not. So if the worst comes to the worst, please choose another hotel to stay in the region!

According to a current statement from the Golf Secretariat, the golf course will be closed from April to June 2023 due to renovation work. However, this information has not yet been added to the homepage. Update: the golf course is permanently closed.

We were NOT in the hotel, just in the restaurant. On Sundays there is a cake buffet for 10 euros. JUST AWESOME!!! Homemade cream cakes or sheet cakes and enough coffee...everything is simply delicious. But it's best if you reserve a place in advance, as it can get very crowded. There is also a “schnitzel day” and other delicacies. Always my pleasure

Great hotel, clean, large rooms and great breakfast

It was actually supposed to be our future Christmas accommodation when we visit family. The last time there was no one there to talk to if you had any questions. And right now I'm sitting in a room where the toilet flush is broken. Arrival was at 12 p.m. and the water is running with loud splashes, apart from the fact that I can't do it 😩 and no one is there again until 5 p.m. Very unfortunate. Even though it's Christmas, I unfortunately don't understand that. It's a shame ☹️ the price isn't worth it. Although it is very nice here and also super comfortable. I'm looking forward to breakfast tomorrow.

We planned a stay at this beautifull place. And the staff was incredibley fiendly and helpful. We planned to leave very early the next day and they try to do everything possible so that we could get a coffee in the morning. What a nice experience.

Hallo zusammen, leider kann ich diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlen. Die Rezeption ist nicht ganztägig besetzt, dadurch kann bei Problemen oder anderen Themen nicht geholfen werden, und freundlich ist man auch nicht. Liegt vielleicht an der norddeutschen Art. Desweiteren waren die Zimmer nicht sauber. Mein Bettlacken weißte rote Flecken auf, mehreren Spinnennetze an den Ecken und an den Lampen . Dies ist jedoch für uns nicht entscheidend, sondern die Abzocke am letzten Tag. Wir reisen mit einem Baby (<1 Jahr) und müssen somit für alle Tage zusätzlich Frühstück bezahlen. Alle Eltern wissen, wie viel ein Baby /Kleinkind vom Buffet isst.. naja nachdem wir dies reklamiert haben, war leider nichts möglich. In den AGBs bzw auf der Westseite steht davon nicht. Somit müssten wir für die 4 Tage 20 Euro extra bezahlen. Wir hatten eigentlich im Großen und Ganzen tolle Tage auf diesem Anwesen, jedoch bin ich stark enttäuscht von der unflexiblen Art und Weise, der Abzocke und das nicht entgegenkommen. Wir werden mit Sicherheit die nächsten Jahre wieder in der Gegend sein, aber nicht in dieser Unterkunft. Noch eins: angeblich ist Frühstück inclusive. Wir haben für das Doppelzimmer 155 Euro bezahlt, im Internet steht 119eur incl. Frühstück ACHTUNG ABZOCKE!!

Zimmer 101 sehr schön. Wenn Sie nach 14 Uhr reservieren, unbedingt dort anrufen denn sonst haben Sie abends kein Zimmer. Ist ganz leicht ☺️☺️☺️
