Gülers Berliner Döner in München

I've been there twice, and the food was delicious. Juicy chicken/fries/salad box, or excellent lahmacun, delicious sauces - thanks :-) Prices are as usual for Munich.

Well, I have to say, this is the first kebab shop in years that I'll happily return to. Chicken durum with extra meat for €11, but a really good portion, enough to fill even me, a glutton. Also super tasty, and the man at the counter was nice. Thank you, and see you soon ❤️

The portion is large, filling enough for a meal. The meat is tasty and nicely seasoned. The downside is that it was a bit cold. The service was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

As a kebab, I'm not impressed by anything and have nothing to complain about. It's just average.

The doner kebabs are delicious, but prices are getting increasingly expensive. Considering it's just a "chicken rotisserie," €8 for a chicken doner kebab is now too expensive. Cash only isn't up to date either.

I'm so sorry. So little meat for 10 euros, and it was very fatty. The tomatoes and cucumbers weren't exactly fresh. :/

After a few visits to Berliner Döner, I have to say the place has gone downhill. My second update has turned out to be absolutely terrible. The amount of meat they use for a kebab is outrageous! And sometimes you get a lot of rude comments. I won't be going there anymore. The employees are absolutely terrible!

Highly recommended. I had a super delicious doner kebab 😁😁 a generous portion, enough to fill you up. The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, making it a great place to linger. So if you want a great doner kebab or something similar, this is the place for you. 🫶

Large, delicious dürüm. The veal was quite good, but undercooked. The staff was very nice, but €11 for a dürüm, even if it was well-filled, is simply too much.

Well, if that's good!!!! Munich, sorry, you have no idea. Meat/fries everywhere. Way too much salt (not for blood pressure patients). Taste is okay.... So if that's the best kebab in Munich and the surrounding area???? Then I don't know.... Sorry, kebab owner, but I have to be honest!!! That was my experience.

It used to be my favorite kebab, but in my opinion, the quality has deteriorated. The bread is no longer crispy, and the staff are less attentive. It's a shame.

The doner kebab used to be one of the best in Munich. Unfortunately, the last two visits were rather disappointing. The sauces are very good. I had a doner kebab plate last time. The portions were quite small. I would have expected more for the price. The staff are friendly. Nevertheless, I'll probably look for alternatives.

One of Munich's top 3 kebabs 💯 The absolute highlight here are the sauces. Whether it's Berliner sauce, Kreuzberger sauce, or even avocado, there's something for everyone. The meat is very good! The wait time here is usually reasonable compared to other kebab shops, and the food is prepared in front of your eyes in just a few minutes. What I also think is worth mentioning is that the kebab is comparatively large. Big bread, lots of meat, lots of sauce 🤝🤝🤝

There was a staff member who spoke Turkish and the food was delicious. I asked them for a place to pray and they arranged a place for me to pray at the back. I thank them for that too.

Staff very friendly, Dürüm tasteless, meat rubbery. 30 minutes later met with stomach cramps and diarrhea. It's a shame, it was recommended to us...

We were there with children late in the evening. There is a kaos at the counter. We got in line, 5 people were in front of us and waited 30 minutes. Friends or acquaintances of the employees have repeatedly pushed their way in and are combing from the local area next door. There was veal or chicken kebab. We ordered veal kebab, there was too much bud in the meat, which shouldn't be the case with good meat. Doner kebab in the bread smelled and was very greasy. Of course I didn't eat anymore. It wasn't clean in the small shop either. 4 to 5 people worked behind the counter. Communication is very poor and that's really annoying to complain about. Unfortunately, there are still no super tasty kebabs in Munich.

Berliner Döner - The shop definitely doesn't deserve this name. This has nothing to do with a Berlin kebab. Even by Munich standards, one of the worst kebabs ever. Bad veal, soft bread... just terrible.

It was very tasty and worth the price. However, we were forgotten about the fries and the shop wasn't really visually appealing. But it was great for a kebab on hand.

Totally honest shop. Very fair prices and probably the most authentic best kebab in East Munich. Extremely nice shop, nice staff, huge selection of sauces. No tzatziki or standard yogurt. Huge recommendation

The portion is generous. Girls should be able to share one portion between two people. The boss is warm and friendly. It is worth trying. I will come again if I have the opportunity.

Ridiculous price (10 euros) for a complete standard kebab that you can get anywhere else for 6-7 euros and tastes just as good. They only take cash and it takes forever. If you've got your hopes up about the Nuremberg Berlin kebab, it's best to stay away!

Best kebab in Munich. I've never had a cartilage bone or piece of fat in the meat, which is what I usually get with every kebab.

Ordered Lahmacun via Uber Eats. Unfortunately it tasted so strange/not good that no one could eat it and it ended up in the trash. It's a shame because the kebab there was otherwise very good.

A really particularly good kebab for the Munich location. The sauces are exquisite, the bread is crispy, the meat is high quality. Whether "with everything", "without onions" or "just meat in bread." They have everything and it tastes good.

Very friendly service and everything freshly prepared! The crunchy vegetables and the three brilliant sauces (garlic, herbs, spicy) were particularly impressive. The meat was of the best quality and super tasty. Absolutely recommended – I’ll be back!

Whenever I'm in Munich and feel like a kebab, this shop is my first choice! The kebab is simply unbeatable – fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. The sauces are to die for and make the whole experience even better. I always enjoy coming here and can highly recommend it to everyone!

It was impossible. Tables were dirty. Employee discusses with customer why the order was wrong. Employee unhygienically touches money and then the bread again. The team is totally disorganized! I was given raw meat Habers couldn't eat and threw it away!! I informed the imprint and didn't even get a voucher or an apology for it!!! Never again!!!

Delicious doner, quite cheap prices, it was at night, many people, everything is fresh. I liked it, as for such a place.

Bottomless freedom... I was a regular customer in this shop for years. In the last 2 years or so, I have already experienced a 3-mail increase in the price of the “Kebab”. First of all from 6 to 7 euros, which was understandable since inflation has also caused the prices for the innkeepers to rise. Very shortly afterwards the next price increase came, from 7 to 8 euros. Anyone who can use the internet and do math will immediately know that 8 euros for a “doner kebab” (which according to the LAW cannot even be called a kebab, since the skewer here consists mostly of minced meat, and not of layered meat. That’s why it is also sold as a rotisserie sandwich, and not as a kebab) is absolutely not justified. But good, after all the rotisserie has risen to up to 8 euros in many places. It was really too expensive for a fake kebab, but like many others, I still ate there regularly with my family. But today the shock... the price of a fake kebab has risen to a whopping 10 EURO. I don't want to say anything more about it... I've unfortunately lost my favorite everyday kebab shop. I'm curious to see how my friends and work colleagues react to this.

Very bad experience… went there thought that it is original berliner Döner but its a fake copy who is selling using their name. No payment option by card and taste is really worse

For the information of viewers it's not the real Berliner doner and they are charging much more for average food moreover they don't accept any online or card payments only cash

I went there because i have a heard a lot about Nuremberg's berliner doner but this is a fake copy of that. On google the name is berliner donor but the actual name of the shop is berliner burger. They are using the name of a well reputed brand. To be honest the donors were okay- nothing special. But i came for the berliner doner experience not a fake copy of that. Moreover they dont accept card- only cash. - bot a good experience.

Delicious. Best sauces. I recommend the Berliner Very Spicy in combination with Berliner original with garlic.

Unfortunately the meat has nothing to do with Berlin meat. Sauces are great. Unfortunately, bread is not a “Berlin flatbread” either.

The kebab is okay, a little more meat wouldn't hurt. So nothing unusual, but it's ok. All the staff were friendly, except for the lady who cuts the kebab. You usually order from another lady and the lady in question then talks at you strangely from the side if you haven't understood or heard something. I was there twice and the same thing twice. That just doesn't work at all.

Good kebab and perfect for your lunch break. A wide variety of sauces to give you variety. Very crowded at lunchtime as the shop is close to the office. Gladly 5 stars if card payment is possible.

The salad was fresh and the American sauce somehow unfitting for a dürüm. I was super suprised by the falafel which was dry on the inside and somehow mushy.

The kebab tasted incredibly good! The meat was juicy, the ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced. The sauces were also excellent and rounded the whole thing off. The variety of different sauces make the large selection remarkable. I would also particularly like to highlight the atmosphere in the store. The furnishings are modern and inviting, which makes you feel right at home. A great place to have a leisurely meal. I would definitely like to come back and can only recommend this shop!

I only go there for the kebab because we only like the kebab there. Apart from that, an older lady is very unfriendly, hectic, thrifty and doesn't respond to your wishes. The other salespeople in the store are also very strange and unfriendly. Charging 7€ for a kebab and behaving so outrageously is not possible!!!

Great taste and portion size. The staff was courteous and spoke very good English. Ample seating space. Several options to choose from. Had it after a year and still taste great. Would love to visit again.

When I simply asked whether the kebab box could be served on a plate, I received the friendly answer: "Then please buy a kebab plate, it costs 3.50 euros more." Customer orientation is very important here, “in quotation marks”. Meanwhile, I watched the other employee using paper scissors (!) to "chop" pieces of meat from the spit - a true work of art! Creativity is definitely present here, but not necessarily in a positive sense. To make matters worse, the kebab sat heavy in my stomach until 6 p.m., a full 5 hours, so I couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day. If you are looking for an extraordinary experience, you will certainly find it here - but less in culinary terms.

Perfect kebab. Never eaten so well.

I was there a few days ago and several times even before the renovation. Unfortunately, I can confirm that it has worn off. When I was there recently it was very hot, which makes working very difficult, especially in a kebab shop. You have to take that into account, but “friendly” was a term I missed. I ordered 2 donner plates. The older gentleman was extremely listless and disgusted. That was the impression I had of him. When the young colleague took over, things were better and he was able to talk to you normally and nicely. Which sauce etc. When I asked for double bags because I was traveling with the scooter and with 2 donner plates it already adds up to a lot of weight. This in turn ensures that the bags tend to tear when driving. The young colleague understood it immediately and said quietly "OK, sure." But when the older one noticed, he intervened and disrespectfully lectured me, 38, like a teacher, that he had a paper bag here and that it was really easy to wear.... And also gestured quite unfriendly. I preferred not to say anything. The atmosphere was very tense. I've waited a few days now to calm down before writing them reviews. That's not possible and I think such behavior is absolutely unprofessional, even considering the heat and/or stress. I won't make a special trip to see you anymore. If I eat with you again it will only be because I don't have an alternative. It's a shame, it was a really good recommendation for kebab in Berg am Laim.

This is self-service. You can choose between chicken and meat. They have great menu offerings, the portions are really good and the price-performance ratio is great.
