Meat a little dry but with sauces ok Jumbo doner is not worth it mine had maybe a touch more meat on it but looked smaller than my wife's when addressed criticism rather unfriendly and dismissive

Very tasty and the staff are very friendly. The food is inexpensive and tastes very good. You absolutely have to go there if you're up here. The interior alone is inviting you to eat. Very clean and hygienic snack bar and the tables are cleaned immediately when the customer is finished. The sales counter invites you to look around because there is such a wide selection of food. The prices are completely reasonable and not excessive. There are much more expensive snack bars in Neustadt in Holstein. The kitchen at the back counter is also very clean and if something falls on the floor it is immediately disposed of. You rarely see that in snack bars and it's worth mentioning. Even if a guest drops something at the table, the staff come and wipe it up immediately. That's very attentive and speaks for the owner. Keep it up and I hope the snack bar can keep its prices down so that they don't have to worry about the future of this snack bar.

Gül Döner impresses across the board. The food is incredibly delicious, the portions generous and filling. The fresh salad is particularly noteworthy: crisp and flavorful! The shop is clean and well-maintained, and you immediately feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good kebabs and friendly service!

I was camping with my family in Pelzerhacken. One evening, I got three doner kebab plates. They tasted amazing. The meat was warm and perfectly seasoned, the salad was fresh and delicious, and the fries were golden yellow and crispy. On our next vacation up there, we will definitely get something to eat there again.

I can't understand the bad reviews. The lighting is a matter of taste. I got 2 kebabs. Special requests no problem. The hot sauce had a pleasant spiciness to it. The other sauces were also good. The store is very clean. Meat was plentiful and not fried hard or raw. Service wasn't unfriendly. Keep it up.

The veal kebab is “HUGE” and costs €7.50. Unfortunately the meat wasn't really warm and the sauce was very "creamy" and not to my taste. The hot sauce isn't really spicy. All in all OK but nothing special. The “owner” was very friendly. The shop is not decorated to my liking and is a bit “oppressive” due to the silence with the blue lighting. It reminded me more of a discotheque (pub).

Very friendly, clean and attractively furnished. Extras such as sumac are also available. If the tzatziki is mixed less with mayonnaise and more with yoghurt, I would be happy to give full marks.

I can't understand the 5* reviews, the kebab doesn't taste good at all, the sauces aren't really tasty, some of the chicken was raw and inedible, the veal is minced meat and poorly seasoned. The jumbo kebab plate for €14.50 is the normal kebab plate at other stores. We both had stomach aches and nausea afterwards and we will never order anything there again. A kebab shop like this in Hamburg would have a maximum of 2.5 stars. Don't the people of Neustadt know any kebab shops where the bread is made in-house and there are real veal kebabs or steak kebabs? Absolutely not a recommendation for anyone who wants quality. We can't explain 4.8 stars at all. EDIT: Owner who is not at all critical (see answer) There are also laws in Germany, such as that a kebab can only be called kebab if 60% veal is used, otherwise it has to be called DÖRSPIEß kebab style. There are high fines on it, so maybe you should give the authorities a tip to check the store. P.S. Selling raw meat has nothing to do with cleanliness and is a violation of food law. The kebab shop owner can't know because "I don't understand anything, always good quality, bought cheaply but sold expensively and like that, stupid customer, it's not my fault...." At the end of our autumn camping we got two kebabs and a portion of fries. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, both the employees and the boss. The food was very plentiful and tasted great. The store is modern, inviting and, above all, clean, which also gave me an excellent impression in terms of hygiene. Starting next week there will even be pizza - we will definitely try that next year. Conclusion: Excellent service, delicious food and top hygiene. Absolutely recommended!"

The food was okay and a lot. One employee was very friendly, the other not so much. Unfortunately, the rooms do not invite you to linger or eat there. But if you want to eat something quickly, you can get something here.

Good location but no attention is paid to the food that is served. I specially ordered a steak kebab and asked that it be freshly cut. Meat was cold and didn't taste hard at all. I ordered a kebab at the Gül Imbiss on June 22nd, 2024. At first I was a bit critical because - as so often - they don't offer real kebab but rather a kebab-style rotisserie. So the meat doesn't meet the standards for a real kebab! But the shop is absolutely clean, the service was top and the rotisserie tasted good. The sauces were ok, the bread was well toasted. Meat was also freshly cut and did not come out of the warming container. If you want to enjoy a run-of-the-mill kebab-style rotisserie that is well prepared, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, if you want a good kebab, you won't get it here. By the way, the shop doesn't offer vegetable kebab when asked, but the owner is probably considering adding it to the program.
