I don't understand the bad reviews. The lighting is a matter of taste. I got two kebabs. Special requests were no problem. The spicy sauce had a pleasant level of spiciness. The other sauces were also good. The shop is very clean. The meat was plentiful and not cooked hard or raw. The service wasn't unfriendly. Keep up the good work.

The veal kebab is “HUGE” and costs €7.50. Unfortunately the meat wasn't really warm and the sauce was very "creamy" and not to my taste. The hot sauce isn't really spicy. All in all OK but nothing special. The “owner” was very friendly. The shop is not decorated to my liking and is a bit “oppressive” due to the silence with the blue lighting. It reminded me more of a discotheque (pub).

Very friendly, clean and attractively furnished. Extras such as sumac are also available. If the tzatziki is mixed less with mayonnaise and more with yoghurt, I would be happy to give full marks.

I can't understand the 5* reviews, the kebab doesn't taste good at all, the sauces aren't really tasty, some of the chicken was raw and inedible, the veal is minced meat and poorly seasoned. The jumbo kebab plate for €14.50 is the normal kebab plate at other stores. We both had stomach aches and nausea afterwards and we will never order anything there again. A kebab shop like this in Hamburg would have a maximum of 2.5 stars. Don't the people of Neustadt know any kebab shops where the bread is made in-house and there are real veal kebabs or steak kebabs? Absolutely not a recommendation for anyone who wants quality. We can't explain 4.8 stars at all. EDIT: Owner who is not at all critical (see answer) There are also laws in Germany, such as that a kebab can only be called kebab if 60% veal is used, otherwise it has to be called DÖRSPIEß kebab style. There are high fines on it, so maybe you should give the authorities a tip to check the store. P.S. Selling raw meat has nothing to do with cleanliness and is a violation of food law. The kebab shop owner can't know because "I don't understand anything, always good quality, bought cheaply but sold expensively and like that, stupid customer, it's not my fault...." At the end of our autumn camping we got two kebabs and a portion of fries. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, both the employees and the boss. The food was very plentiful and tasted great. The store is modern, inviting and, above all, clean, which also gave me an excellent impression in terms of hygiene. Starting next week there will even be pizza - we will definitely try that next year. Conclusion: Excellent service, delicious food and top hygiene. Absolutely recommended!"

The food was okay and a lot. One employee was very friendly, the other not so much. Unfortunately, the rooms do not invite you to linger or eat there. But if you want to eat something quickly, you can get something here.

Good location but no attention is paid to the food that is served. I specially ordered a steak kebab and asked that it be freshly cut. Meat was cold and didn't taste hard at all. I wouldn't recommend them because they don't respond to customer requests. Check out everything quickly and quickly. Therefore one star from me.

I ordered a kebab at the Gül Imbiss on June 22nd, 2024. At first I was a bit critical because - as so often - they don't offer real kebab but rather a kebab-style rotisserie. So the meat doesn't meet the standards for a real kebab! But the shop is absolutely clean, the service was top and the rotisserie tasted good. The sauces were ok, the bread was well toasted. Meat was also freshly cut and did not come out of the warming container. If you want to enjoy a run-of-the-mill kebab-style rotisserie that is well prepared, this is the place for you. Unfortunately, if you want a good kebab, you won't get it here. By the way, the shop doesn't offer vegetable kebab when asked, but the owner is probably considering adding it to the program.

The food was outstanding! I come from Hamburg and have eaten a lot of kebabs... but the sauce you have was really delicious! Garlic sauce just like from the best shops in Hamburg. Finally never again Devran, thanks to Güll! Finally friendly employees, Neustadt has been waiting for this for a long time. Meat is cut fresh and not just pulled from a container like Devran. You never know how long the meat has been there. I think I'm not the only Neustadt resident who is frustrated with Devran and her arrogance and is grateful for a real alternative! We only miss curry sauce and pineapple 😜🤪

We ate delicious kebab and currywurst with fries there. The currywurst was already pre-cut and delicious, the fries were crispy and there was also a small salad. The kebab plate was also very tasty and plentiful. We were also served a tasty tea free of charge. We would be happy to come back.
