I was there with friends in the evening. The service staff was probably very stressed, which was reflected in their behavior towards us. Very harsh, abrupt and unfriendly behavior. We were already thinking about going back. Such a service person is not a figurehead for the restaurant.

Been visiting for years and never been bad, but when it's busy it gets too noisy.

Price performance fits here. Very cheap and proportionate compared to most restaurants these days. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't very great, but as we all know, that's a matter of taste.

Disappointing - no longer recommended After a long time I came here again with my family to eat pizza and was unfortunately extremely disappointed. The pizza dough was completely without salt, which significantly affected the taste of the pizza. I could only eat a quarter of it. My companion wasn't at all happy with her pizza either - it was just bad. This used to be a great restaurant, but unfortunately I can no longer recommend it today. It's a shame how much the quality has deteriorated.

The barrel in Kirchheim is always great. Quality and service are very important here. The price/performance ratio in the barrel is also unbeatable in the region. Where else can you find a pizza with such rich toppings for under €10 in a restaurant today with the toppings and the quality? Yes, that's right, that will be difficult. I celebrated my 40th birthday with my family in the barrel. I also go there often or pick up something.

First of all you arrive here and you aren't even greeted, then we had to look for a table ourselves. But thanks to the nice blonde lady we were served immediately then the other waitress with brown hair came and you immediately noticed that the atmosphere was very unfriendly She also brought things to the table in a very rude manner. Food is recommended but the staff should be trained

First the good: The food, quantity and prices match and are fine. Now the suggestions for improvement: At peak times, the ratio of staff to number of guests should be balanced so that service is possible at all. Either reduce the number of tables (possible) or increase staff (hardly possible given the space available). With service and more staff you can no longer handle masses. Therefore, to compensate, you can increase the prices (requires high quality - is possible) or/and reduce the portions to a healthy size (possible). This means that the starter, main course and dessert all fit into the stomach (which can increase profits again). If you, as a guest, go to the restaurant with several people and have made a reservation in advance, you neither want to sit outside in rainy weather nor do you want to be sent to a table that is obviously only used by the staff or for storage purposes. For further training, I can suggest visiting a restaurant with high quality service yourself, e.g. in Oberboihingen ;-) and using this service experience for your own actions. This helps the tip fund and keeps customers happy. A little tip: The guest pays your wages, not the boss!

What a great restaurant, we really love it! The staff is very nice and accommodating. In addition, the price/performance ratio is right here. The portions were very generous and you really felt full. Unfortunately things are going downhill! The barrel has been our favorite restaurant for many years. When the long-time waiter Roberto was still there, we generously overlooked some obvious deficiencies (e.g. unreasonably narrow women's toilets, partly dingy atmosphere, etc.) due to the very good price-performance ratio and Roberto's friendly and family-like manner. Since Roberto, who was the soul of the restaurant, is no longer there, the quality of service has deteriorated significantly, and some legitimate criticisms from the guests are brusquely rejected by the boss. As long-time regulars, we notice that many other regulars have probably stopped visiting the barrel for these reasons. We hope that the quality of service and the cleanliness of the restaurant will improve, otherwise we will also have to look for another restaurant. Surprisingly, the situation in the AL Campo restaurant on the golf course in Ohmden, which is also part of the barrel, is completely different and would be a good alternative for us, even if we could no longer walk to our restaurant and would have to drive.

My friends and I ordered 4 pizzas and everyone agreed that they were the worst pizzas we have ever eaten. There was a hair on each of 2 pizzas, the cut of the pizza was very strange (as if a drunk had cut it), and the taste wasn't the same either. Was the first and last time. What a shame!

What can you say, the service was rather unfriendly and often ignored us, we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for the drinks and over an hour for the food. We thought the restaurant was good because it had such a good rating, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

My honest opinion of this place is simply: "Bad". The service was simply unfriendly, we never really let you express yourself and you noticed how your mood dropped when a service person came to the table. The food was simply inedible, you waited 30 minutes for your drinks, almost 1 1/2 hours for a pizza that was just soggy and not baked through, just disgusting. When paying, they didn't manage to make a separate bill, so some people paid for the food for others without even noticing if you didn't ask for the bill. I'll never eat there again, it's just worth 1 star.

For 15 years we have always enjoyed coming to eat - delicious food, pleasant, clean atmosphere, lively, funny and friendly service from our Italian friend - all of that suddenly changed yesterday! After my friendly greeting, I was ignored by two service ladies for ten minutes, as was my greeting! "We were finally shown to a table (...an unfriendly come") that I had already reserved two weeks before. Our desired spot facing the pedestrian zone was confirmed to me twice by phone and we were given a table in the back area. My regret about this was ignored again. We were shocked when we discovered bird droppings, leftover food, etc. on the place mats. Horrified, we asked the lady to clean the place first. From this moment on you can no longer really speak of service. This would have been the right time to leave the restaurant because things got even worse. Another lady came to the table and asked curtly what the problem was and her comment about the bird droppings...we have tables outside here. Well, in my opinion, the service staff should ensure that the guests get clean tables. After an unfriendly and unprofessional ordering process, the salad side dishes arrived after about 20 minutes, the drinks ordered at the beginning came about 60 minutes after ordering (outside temperature that day was about 30 degrees), i.e. after the salads. There was no response to a show of hands from us. The main courses were actually served to us another 40 minutes later, unfortunately lukewarm. The quality and quantity of the food was not as usual, in other words just bad! In our opinion, there was intentional arbitrariness behind this. They don't seem to be able to deal with constructive criticism in this restaurant, the guest is NO longer king - it's a shame. It's amazing how poor service staff can have a negative impact on a restaurant. Long story short - yesterday evening was an all-round one big disappointment, after 15 years our culinary journey in this restaurant has come to an end!!!

Long wait for the food and then some cold/lukewarm

Was there for the first time. Was very positively surprised. My Fritto Misto was very good and totally fair price. Vegetables and potatoes as a side dish. Spaghetti and pizza also good. The Olio Picante was amazing. I would have preferred to eat it completely empty. We will be back. Could be the new favorite Italian restaurant. Look mr.

Discovered by chance while passing through - very friendly service, excellent price/performance ratio, wonderfully prepared pulp & nice atmosphere on the terrace in the back yard. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!

We ate at the barrel for the first time today and were fascinated by the food and the prices. The waiter was also very personable and nice and served us attentively and the neighboring tables praised these young gentlemen. We'll definitely be back in the barrel

Went to the keg yesterday and ordered rigatoni al forno and pizza bread. The pizza bread was inedible because there was way too much olive oil on it. The noodles were very bland. When the waitress asked at the end if it tasted good, I honestly told her no. I had the impression she didn't really understand me at all. There wasn't even an apology, just a stupid comment. Never again!

Great food as always and very reasonable prices. The staff, however, was very unfriendly... especially the boss, or at least you get the impression that she is. It's a shame, I always enjoyed being there.

Wir waren drei Personen zum Mittagessen.Pizza Pasta und Salat bestellt. Den Beilagen Salat hätte die Bedienung vergessen wenn man sie nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht hätte. Pasta war sehr geschmacksarm und der Salat viel zu scharf!!!! Pizzaboden viel zu hart!!!! Wir haben dies bei Bezahlung erwähnt,worauf die Bedinung sehr unfreundlich und schroff reagierte und dies nicht ernst nahm.Geht gar nicht!!!! Nie wieder!!!!!!!

From 5 stars to nothing, mass processing with hours of waiting since the stressful waitresses who don't understand German took over. Never again will you not understand how much Leite was ordered for and wait 1.5 hours for an antipsti misto. The quality is also worse. If the place is full, maybe hire an extra cook, even the Pizzawinkler is now far dry

Delicious Italian restaurant around the corner, located directly in Fuzo Kirccheim. The dishes are delicious and the price is still reasonable. It was great with you. Only the noise level in the restaurant is sometimes a bit loud. See you next time.

The food is very authentic and incredibly tasty, and the price/performance ratio is unbeatably good, in addition to the high quality of the food and the size of the portions. The ambience is nice. Unfortunately, the service is absolutely subpar, especially during the week. The staff often seemed listless and treated me like air several times and walked past me without me ordering anything. Only after wild gesticulations was I served. The "highlight" was today when, when I asked by phone whether there was anything available for two people on Friday evening, the conversation was ended within 3 seconds with "We're already full today" without any further words. I didn't get around to asking for a free table on Saturday or Sunday. Very unfortunate, then go to Incanto, because there, in addition to the quality of the food, the service is also good.

Called twice and apparently no one heard me and just hung up. I have a great connection here. What kind of shop is this? Keep your food to yourself.

The barrel is decorated in a very rustic way, which I personally like very much. :) Of course it's always a matter of taste. The food tastes really delicious and the price-performance ratio is really super fair. What is not possible, however, is the friendliness of the service staff that we experienced during the week. The service itself wasn't slow and everything came to the table correctly. However, we were treated very rudely and our questions were answered snippily. The job is certainly very stressful, but that shouldn't be taken out on the guest. If you don't know or don't understand something, that's absolutely fine and can happen, but then you have to react in a more friendly way. It's a shame because the food is really good. I hope it was just a bad day and that others have better experiences here. It would be a shame if a very good chef suffered disadvantages from this.

Friendly, cosy, delicious plates…

Wir haben telefonisch auf 17.30 Uhr reserviert und uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass unser Tisch um 19 Uhr wegen einer anderen Reservierung wieder frei sein muss, was für uns ok war. Wir beeilten uns extra und waren schon um 17.15 Uhr im Restaurant und wurden sofort mit dem „netten“ Satz begrüßt: „Sie wissen, dass sie kurz vor 19 Uhr fertig sein müssen?“ Als ich dann eine Vor- und Hauptspeise bestellte, meinte die Bedienung in einem unfreundlichen Ton, dies würde zeitlich nicht reichen und ich müsse mich für eins entscheiden! 1 Stunde und 45 Minuten zu kurz für Vor- und Hautspeise? Sie blieb hartnäckig bei ihrer Meinung und ich musste mich auf eine Hauptspeise beschränken! Um 18.15 Uhr waren wir dann fertig mit Essen und hätten noch 45 Minuten Zeit gehabt, aber wie gesagt Vorspeise wurde ja verweigert. So ein unverschämter Umgang mit Gästen ist unglaublich. Beim Zahlen mit Karte meinte sie dann noch, die Karte würde nicht funktionieren weil sie verschmutzt sei. Nie wieder „Zum Fass“!

Unbelievable, a restaurant that still has good prices with good service and, above all, good quality...

The food is good and the prices are ok too. However, the service was a disaster. We were there 5 times and every time something went wrong. Every time something was forgotten and even after asking 3 times, it didn't come. When we finally wanted to pay, the supplement arrived. Twice they had completely forgotten the third meal. The waitresses are very unfriendly. The ambience is underground. Lots of tables put together. You can feel the breath of the person sitting next to you. The good reviews really baffle me. I have the impression that the focus here is on regular guests and the rest is unwelcome. I noticed that there were a lot of regular guests there and unfortunately they were treated completely differently. The waitress even laughed. However, she was very condescending to us.

The food was very tasty, even if you had to wait a little longer for the casserole. But it was worth it. I will definitely come back.

Man sitzt ganz nett. Essen war durchwachsen. Lasagne war ok, Cordon Bleu war ziemlich schlecht (frittiert) und geschmacksarm. Spaghetti war sehr sehr käsig. Das meiste liessen wir liegen. Service war aber nett. Einmal war jedoch genug.

Pleasant little Italian restaurant in the pedestrian zone, large selection of dishes and drinks. Fantastic quality, great prices, had "Blaumann" pizza and baked tortellini with minced meat. Payment possible with cash or card. We were just passing through, but would be happy to come back when the opportunity arises. Attention: Google Maps does not yet recognize the pedestrian zone.

Nach langer Zeit sind wir wieder ins Fass. Es war viel los und wir haben gerade noch für 2 Platz bekommen. Tagesessen: Gemüse mit Pizza Winkler (Pizza Brot mit Zwiebeln und Olivenöl). Pizza Brot war gut, Gemüse offensichtlich aus der Mikrowelle, leider ohne jeglichen Geschmack. Putenschnitzel mit Tomaten Sugo und tatsächlich 6 Röhren Nudeln. Davor ein kleiner Salat. Geschmack ok. Allerdings hat mich die wirkliche mini Portion verwundert. Am Nachbartisch saßen 2 ältere Damen, die hatten exakt das gleiche bestellt. Deren Portionen waren mindestens 3x so groß. Die haben sich noch einpacken lassen. Das habe ich aufgrund des vollen Lokals nicht moniert, dürfte aber nicht sein. Habe ich hier einfach den Rest bekommen? Ich bin kein großer Esser, aber da musste ich danach noch zum Bäcker. Richtig gestört haben mich die Speisekarten, die wirklich schmutzig und verklebt sind. Ebenso die schmutzige Tischdecke und die Spinnennetze älterer Art in der Deko zwischen den Plätzen. Hoffentlich sieht's nicht überall so aus. Muss ich also nicht wiederholen. Zumal das Schwesterlokal am Golfplatz in Ohmden um Klassen besser ist. Schade eigentlich.

Schon lange nicht mehr dort gewesen. Aber heute fand ich wieder das Essen und den Service sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt. Ich hatte eine Pizza Winkler, dazu frittierte Calamaris und einen Salat mit Ei und Thunfisch.

Wir waren sehr spontan im Gasthaus zum Fass essen und sind sehr zufrieden mit dem Service. Sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen ist gut und lecker, wenn auch nicht herausragend bzw. besonderes (deshalb nur 3 Sterne). Allerdings geben die Portionen ziemlich was her und man bekommt für sein Geld wirklich noch ordentlich was auf den Teller. Wir haben uns auch was einpacken lassen. Uns ist außerdem aufgefallen, dass das Lokal trotz unter der Woche sehr gut besucht war und von einigen offensichtlich auch schon mehrmals. Das muss was heißen und auch wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bin Stammgast im „Fass“ seit 1975! Mein Lieblingslokal mit super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und mit der Zeit sehr persönlichem, freundlichem Service. Chefkellner hat meist alles im Griff, ist nur selten etwas ruppig, aber auch Gäste treten gelegentlich unverschämt auf. Jetzt ist Roby erst mal weg. Eine Ära ging am 18.10.23 zu Ende! Sehr schade!

The team were very friendly and helpful. Between my limited German and Italian I made myself understood. The food was beautiful and a great deal fir the lunch menu. Don’t be put off by the outside of the restaurant - it looked closed! Inside it was bustling with locals.

Bestellt wurde Ravioli mit Steinpilzen dazu Radler. Geliefert wurde ein Bier. Dazu Ravioli mit Ricotta Füllung. Jemand zweites hatte ein ähnliches Gericht bestellt. Erhalten haben wir zwei kleine Portionen und bei der wirklich kleinen Menge vermute ich einfach mal das eine Portion einfache Ravioli mit Ricotta zweigeteilt wurde. Ist das Geld nicht wert.

Begeistert von den Speisen. Alles hat gepasst

Wir waren gestern Abend dort. Leider hat nichts funktioniert. Der Kellner war total überfordert und zum Bestellen mussten wir 3 mal auf uns aufmerksam machen. Sehr schnell wurden uns 2 Salate auf den Tisch geknallt. Ohne guten Appetit oder ähnliches. Wir hatten ihn dann aufgegessen. Irgendwann wollte uns der Kellner nochmals 2 Salate hinstellen. Wir haben dann gesagt dass wir schon Salat hatten. Hätten wir ihn nur genommen. .Denn dann kam nichts mehr. Gäste die 40 Minuten nach uns kamen bekamen ihr Essen. Zweimalige Nachfrage ob wir vergessen wurden wurden patzig abgewiesen. Ist Schuld vom Koch. Dann kam 1 Speise. Nach 8 Minuten meine Pizza. Kellner meinte sehr pampig sind doch nur 2 Minuten. Warum aufregen. Wir hatten gar keine Lust mehr und wollten gehen. Mussten alles bezahlen. Essen war gut. Preis Leistung vom Essen und Getränke absolut ok. Leider Service nicht. sehr schade. Keine Entschuldigung. Sorry. Wir wären gerne wiederbekommen. So halt leider nicht

Haben an diesem Abend keine Pizza oder Pinsa, dafür Fisch und spezielle Pastas und die Austernpilze gegessen. Alles war hervorragend im Vergleich zu den Erwartungen, die man an einen Italiener in dieser Preiskategorie haben kann. Daher auch 5 Sterne, denn man muss es immer ins Verhältnis setzen. Der Inhaber hat selbst bedient, nett, freundlich, immer da und gerne zu Schezen aufgelegt. Das hat schonmal gute Vibes verursacht. Meine Austernpilze waren perfekt gegrillt, würzig abgeschmeckt ohne den Pilz zu töten, die dazu gereichten Pizzapnini waren schön lauwarm, cross und frisch. Meine Calamaretti alle Griglia waren sehr gut gelungen, kein Gummi, wirklich zart und die dazu servierten Spaghetti A&O waren al dente und wie beschrieben leicht pikant. Auch war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top, im Schnitt 32 Eur pro Person mitten in Kircheim mit Vor- & Hauptspeise, üppig Getränke und Digestiv mit Caffè sind absolut Okay. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen.

Ich gehe seit über 5 Jahren in dieses Restaurant und kann es nur jedem von Herzen empfehlen! Egal wen ich aus meinem Freundeskreis dabei hatte -alle waren begeistert (vor allem Italiener und nicht Ortsansässige)! Das Essen ist super lecker und neben der normalen Karte, gibt es auch eine Tageskarte und werktags ein unschlagbares Mittagstischangebot. Hier sind wirklich tolle kulinarisches Highlights versteckt! Die Auswahl reicht von frischen Fisch bis selbst gemachter Pasta,leckeren Gerichten mit zartem Fleisch und großzügig belegter Pizza. Der Koch ist so kreativ und lässt sich immer wieder neue Kompositionen einfallen. Und das zu wirklich normalen Preisen! Ich habe selten diese Qualität aus frischen Zutaten, Geschmack, schneller Bedienung und schön angerichteten Gerichten zum gleichen Preis woanders bekommen. Für abends bitte unbedingt reservieren! Es wissen auch andere, dass es dort gut ist :-) Aber das warten lohnt sich! Wer nicht warten will, nimmt es zum Mitnehmen oder geht zum Mittagstisch hin, da ist immer ein Plätzchen frei

Versucht eine Pizza zum abholen zu bestellen, das erste Mal wurde nur der Hörer beiseite gelegt, beim zweiten Versuch hatte es geklappt, ganz simple, Schinken Pizza , extra scharf. Sucht ihr einen neuen Pizzabäcker ? Oder wie sollen wir (Ihre Gäste) das verstehen ? Sogar das schneiden der Pizza müsste noch geübt werden, obwohl bei jedem vernünftigen Italiener die Pizza nicht geschnitten wird. Waldhorn, Wachthaus und Glocke sind die bessere Wahl.
