Guacamole in Regensburg

Very good in terms of taste and quality. I ate a Beyond Meat burrito and it put a smile on my face.

We went there twice within a week because we loved it so much. You can eat your fill here for €12.50 (a mix of three tacos). For starters, we had tortillas with guacamole. It tasted fresh and homemade. The restaurant has a visible kitchen. The staff is authentic, and everything feels very homely. We will recommend it.

Recommended. Friendly service. Barely any wait time. Unfortunately, the tacos were very dark and greasy this time. But they were tasty.

We felt very comfortable and like we were on vacation. We were able to sit outside by the street. The service was very friendly and was able to explain our questions about the dishes very well. The drinks and food were delicious. All the sauces were served with a few tortilla chips for us to try.

Really surprised by this restaurant. Quality Mexican food. Coming from California, I’m picky! Ordering tortillas chips and guacamole as separate items felt pricey but the guacamole is extremely good and the tortillas chips are some of the best I’ve had! Flavorful, everything tastes truly homemade, and our server was very accommodating!

Service, food, drinks, friendliness, atmosphere, locals, tourists, visited over three days, tried a lot. If you like cheese, you'll be especially happy. It shouldn't be any more expensive 😁 The proximity to the city center and the large staff determine the pricing, but it's OK. The restrooms are a dream. 😋👍🥰😉🍹🍸👍🥰😋

The food was delicious, but the taco portions were unfortunately too small. We had previously checked the menu online on the website, but unfortunately, it was no longer up-to-date. The vegan selection, in particular, was significantly smaller in person, which was very disappointing for us.

Low value for money. The quantity of food provided is low for the prices paid (all meals can be considered starters by quantity). They ration tortilla chips (literally hand selected 5 chips which were served in a small dip dish, 1 chip per person). Quality is equivalent to what you can prepare at home. If you are hungry or price conscious, this is not the place for you.

The dishes were freshly prepared and tasted great, and we didn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, I found the food to be very bland and tasteless. The portions were also quite small and not worth the price.

The food takes forever. The service was very friendly, but the price-performance ratio wasn't particularly good. The portions were too small, and there was generally far too much bell pepper in the food. We had a burrito that was way too small for almost €15, and the bowl consisted almost entirely of bell peppers and water... We won't be back.

The corn tacos were very good and tasted authentic—a definite plus point for the restaurant. Unfortunately, the bill didn't match the order: they charged €10 more. Overall, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right, even though the quality of the food was impressive.

This South American restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance and friendly service. Unfortunately, the guacamole didn't quite impress me – it seemed a bit bland and not fresh enough. The meat was okay overall, but not up to the standard I would have expected from a good South American restaurant. It lacked a bit of juiciness and quality. The pleasant atmosphere and the selection of side dishes are also worth mentioning. Overall, the food was solid, but the guacamole and meat could have been better.

Truly exceptional Mexican food for Germany. I'm from the USA and it is sooo hard to find good Mexican food in Germany, but this place really does it well. They also bring you a complementary salsa platter so that you can choose your own salsa for your dish, including actual spicy salsa!!! Big fan. I will be back and will bring my friends.

Tried Guacamole and it was amazing! I had the Camarones diabla bowl, so tasty and the shrimp were perfect. My sister had the Alambre bowl with steak, and it was really good too. My mom got the Beyond Meat burrito and loved it. I had a Himbeer Limonade and it was super refreshing. Delicious food and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Ordered, only to forget the sauce for what feels like the 10th time. Often, something is missing from the order. I called to complain, but no one can help me. Service is terrible! The new brown recipe tastes like it came from a cheap bakery.

We had Pacífico beer and horchata to drink such a nice touch. Great vibe, good portions, and the food had real flavor. I’d come back for sure!

The food wasn't warm when it arrived and the tacos had a very strange aftertaste. Unfortunately, for the very high prices, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

The best restaurant in Regensburg! We visited at 7pm on a Friday, and the outdoor area was full, and there was a wait inside after we sat down. First of all, the food was not salty and delicious! When you first order, they give you simple chips and 5 kinds of sauce, and you can eat them as you like. I added guacamole for 2.9 euros for the tacos, and they were warm and delicious. The chili con carne bowl went down really well because it was rice. Regensburg local draft beer 4.9 euros, and a pretty lemonade 5.9 euros.

The tacos were delicious; the only negative was that instead of guacamole, there was a thick slice of avocado inside, but that didn't bother me. Taste-wise, a 10/10. I'll definitely be back!

We dined here spontaneously in the early evening and were seated immediately without a reservation. The food (vegetarian bowl and burrito) was sensational, very tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented, with large portions. The homemade lemonade was excellent. I would also like to mention the super friendly, fast service, the child-friendly environment, and the very clean restrooms and diaper changing room. We'd love to come back ☆☆☆☆☆!

We were served very nicely here. The card offers many options, including for children. The drinks (Agua de Jamaica and Horchata) tasted very good. I expected a little more from the tacos (al pastor). The salsas and chips were a nice idea, for me the sauces were a bit lacking in flavor. The food in general was good but not outstanding. Still a good experience.

I was there yesterday with my girlfriend and we both absolutely loved it. The menu has a good selection of many different dishes🤗 the staff is very nice and accommodating and the atmosphere is cozy. The food is absolutely brilliant and definitely worth a visit!

The food is very tasty, including a large vegetarian selection (e.g., with Beyond Meat). The service was excellent. I found the prices a bit too high for the portion size, and the restaurant isn't particularly cozy.

As a Mexican in Germany, it is really hard to find anything close to authentic, but this place definitely had me impressed, the al pastor tacos were delicious, and the tortillas were homemade as well the camarones a la diabla. They were also really good, and our daughter loved the rice bowl from the kids' menu. The aguas frescas were also so good. We had the horchata and agua de limon, almost felt like home. Definitely recommend it, and we are definitely coming back.

Pretty tasty restaurant with a lot of choice of Mexican food. I can highly recommend the tacos and the homemade lemonade. The churros as dessert were definitely a personal highlight. Spontaneously at lunchtime 2025 #2 TL;DR: Food delicious and level of spiciness German-friendly, service great, price-quantity ratio rather snacky-wealthy. On Friday I didn't want to worry about my own food again and since I just came from shopping with a bunch of avocados because I'm in the mood for guacamole, why not stop by the professionals straight away. It was around 12 o'clock and the place was half full, so there was no problem getting a seat for one person; And it wasn't a problem that I still had my to-go tea with me! When I scanned the menu, I knew immediately that I wanted chicharrones and, ideally, tacos, which I chose on the recommendation of the waitress: carne asadas. Afterwards we spontaneously had dessert and, again on the recommendation, decided on the churros. The food came quickly and was really tasty! Especially as a sauce fan, it's always great when a dish comes with an extra plate with different sauces! However, for people who like spicy food, things are very German here. For gentle tongues, you really don't need to be afraid here! The tacos were juicy, tasty and my first time Nopales was also great. The meat could perhaps have been a bit more tender. The chicharrones were crispy and the portion of guacamole wasn't too small! Enough that some of it went into the tacos and there was still some left over. I had to wait a little longer for dessert but it was also delicious, especially with the caramel sauce! The prices may be a bit steep, without a drink I paid just over €30, but the taste and service made it worth it. It just might not happen very often, depending on your wallet. In general, I think the menu is very nice, the layout with the snacks and shareables, many other dishes that can be easily shared with each other, such as tacos, and the bar. I can easily imagine coming here with a small to medium-sized group of people who would like to order a variety of dishes together and share them with each other. The acoustics and music in the room are great, you can have a good conversation without having to drown each other out. The waitresses were great, nice and helpful, just a little reserved when it came to asking for recommendations. I thought the note with “how to taco” was great!

We ate here for the second time today. That means we've enjoyed it so far. We had homemade drinks to drink. Jamaica and mint limes. The starter was very tasty. The tacos, however, were a bit too dry this time. Service was super nice and accommodating. The two of us paid I think €47, with a tip we came to €55. Will come again.

Great selection of Mexican dishes and bowls, everything delicious and perfectly balanced. Various sauces and dips with tortilla chips are served. The homemade horchata is also highly recommended.

Unfortunately I can only give one star. I've been ordering from Guacamole for a very long time, but I keep getting disappointed. I now write my comments with thousands of exclamation marks and only in capital letters so that it finally becomes noticeable: I DON'T LIKE CORIANDER!! But not once did anyone heed my advice. No matter when and where I ordered, I always wanted it without coriander. I'm starting to get the feeling that you're deliberately putting a lot of it on there. If you offer a delivery service, you should also respond to your customers' wishes and not just follow a recipe.

The food is ok, but not outstanding as I'm used to from other restaurants in the area. The spices in particular still need to be worked on before I come back. Mexican food can be really great and I usually really enjoy it, but I could have made the food here easier, cheaper and tastier at home.

We lived in Mexico for three years and immediately felt at home at Guacamole. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the food is authentically prepared. Apparently Guacamole started as a simple food stand and has now developed into a popular hotspot in Regensburg. For anyone looking for the most authentic Mexican cuisine possible in Bavaria, Guacamole is a clear recommendation!

Disaster! We wanted to order two burritos, HAD to order a drink with them, even though we didn't want that. “It doesn’t work without it, instructions from the boss”. Paid around €17 per burrito because we ordered extra quacamole that wasn't on any of them. In addition, both were very tasteless, without sauce and therefore dry. That's probably why the drinks were mandatory. Never again for that price

I have to be honest and say that I rarely write bad reviews, but this store deserves it. Far too expensive prices for maximum standard. We ordered a burrito that cost over €2 for extra guacamole that we couldn't even taste (no exaggeration). We also had to buy drinks, even though we didn't want any...

I wrote a review about the food there but it was deleted so I'm now writing a new one. The food was so bad I would never eat there again. The quesadillas were dry and topped with everything but something tasty. Afterwards I went to the snack bar across from the parking lot to eat and the burger there was much better.

Mexican food exceeds expectations! If you're craving Mexican food while out in Regensburg, this is the place! My husband and I got the 3 burritos mixed plate and it was delicious, the flavors and meat were just right! My kids both shared a chicken quesadilla and it was plenty for both of them. For our drinks my husband ordered a beer and I got a berry mixed drink, my kids on the other hand each got horchata, which was a win for them!

Great place 8 in Regensburg, DE. After living in Texas for 28 years, I know Tex-Mex, and this was good.

Friendly and fast staff. The food is good average. However, we had a hibiscus cocktail that was made with far too much alcohol. That's why it was almost inedible.

Very tasty Mexican restaurant. Everything was freshly prepared and special requests were catered for. Service was super nice, we'll be back.
