Guacamole in Regensburg

Great selection of Mexican dishes and bowls, everything delicious and perfectly balanced. Various sauces and dips with tortilla chips are served. The homemade horchata is also highly recommended.

Unfortunately I can only give one star. I've been ordering from Guacamole for a very long time, but I keep getting disappointed. I now write my comments with thousands of exclamation marks and only in capital letters so that it finally becomes noticeable: I DON'T LIKE CORIANDER!! But not once did anyone heed my advice. No matter when and where I ordered, I always wanted it without coriander. I'm starting to get the feeling that you're deliberately putting a lot of it on there. If you offer a delivery service, you should also respond to your customers' wishes and not just follow a recipe.

Authentic mexican food- the guacamole is very good! Also friendly staff and they offer an explanation on how to eat the burritos and tacos correctly.

Lovely, tasty and absolutely delicious Mexican food and a variety of drinks. The workers are super sweet and the place has such lovely music. I loved the atmosphere and everything about the place. Definitely recommended✨

The food is ok, but not outstanding as I'm used to from other restaurants in the area. The spices in particular still need to be worked on before I come back. Mexican food can be really great and I usually really enjoy it, but I could have made the food here easier, cheaper and tastier at home.

We lived in Mexico for three years and immediately felt at home at Guacamole. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the food is authentically prepared. Apparently Guacamole started as a simple food stand and has now developed into a popular hotspot in Regensburg. For anyone looking for the most authentic Mexican cuisine possible in Bavaria, Guacamole is a clear recommendation!

Was there for the second time today and it was great

Disaster! We wanted to order two burritos, HAD to order a drink with them, even though we didn't want that. “It doesn’t work without it, instructions from the boss”. Paid around €17 per burrito because we ordered extra quacamole that wasn't on any of them. In addition, both were very tasteless, without sauce and therefore dry. That's probably why the drinks were mandatory. Never again for that price

I have to be honest and say that I rarely write bad reviews, but this store deserves it. Far too expensive prices for maximum standard. We ordered a burrito that cost over €2 for extra guacamole that we couldn't even taste (no exaggeration). We also had to buy drinks, even though we didn't want any...

I wrote a review about the food there but it was deleted so I'm now writing a new one. The food was so bad I would never eat there again. The quesadillas were dry and topped with everything but something tasty. Afterwards I went to the snack bar across from the parking lot to eat and the burger there was much better.

Mexican food exceeds expectations! If you're craving Mexican food while out in Regensburg, this is the place! My husband and I got the 3 burritos mixed plate and it was delicious, the flavors and meat were just right! My kids both shared a chicken quesadilla and it was plenty for both of them. For our drinks my husband ordered a beer and I got a berry mixed drink, my kids on the other hand each got horchata, which was a win for them!

Excellent experience Super nice service and prompt delivery. All dishes were very tasty and authentic. Prices are a bit higher and the atmosphere could be more comfortable. In any case, a recommendation!

We made a reservation for New Year's Eve (December 31, 2024) and received a reservation confirmation, but then found ourselves in front of a locked door. It couldn't be nastier, especially on New Year's Eve when everything is fully booked in advance. Thanks for nothing.

Great place 8 in Regensburg, DE. After living in Texas for 28 years, I know Tex-Mex, and this was good.

Friendly and fast staff. The food is good average. However, we had a hibiscus cocktail that was made with far too much alcohol. That's why it was almost inedible.

Very tasty Mexican restaurant. Everything was freshly prepared and special requests were catered for. Service was super nice, we'll be back.

It is literally the best Mexican restaurant in town. The dishes are delicious and quite large portions. The staff is nice. Don't forget to make a reservation beforehand to secure a table.

A must try! For real authentic! Great drinks and amazing food! Can’t recommend this place enough, I’m born and raised Los Angeles so I’ve tested my fair share of Mexican food in Europe and this is the best one I’ve had!!

We spontaneously went here for lunch on our last visit to Regensburg. We ordered a burrito carne asada (€16.90) with extra guacamole (€2.90), the taco mix (€13.80) with extra cheese (€2.40) and extra guacamole (€2.90). , before that as a starter chicharrones (7.90 €), 1 Mezzo Mix 0.33 l (3.90 €), 2 Helle (9.90 €) and a homemade lemonade Agua de Limon (5.90 €). The service staff was friendly and brought the drinks and appetizers quickly. The chicharrones turned out to be puffed up pork skin crusts, like the ones you get as a snack from the chip aisle in the supermarket. I would have expected crispy fried pieces of pork skin, similar to the crispy skin on roast pork, but we were far from that. Then came the main courses, which were quite good, but I find it almost audacious to charge €2.40 on top for a few sprinkles of sprinkled cheese and €2.90 for a few mini dollops of guacamole. In the end we had a total of €66.40 on the bill for “a quick bite to eat” (€72 with a tip, because the service was actually very nice). Actually, we would have had room for dessert, but we passed it up. I don't think we'll come back because the price-performance ratio didn't really convince us.

Fantastic! The food is authentic and very good, the atmosphere is great with good music and very modern decor. The staff is very nice and the food comes out so fast! This place is worth the 45 minute drive I had to make, I will be coming back regularly. Only complaint is the salsa is very mild; not spicy at all.

Strangely, the sauces that you initially get with a few chips hardly taste like anything. The whole thing was probably a foreshadowing of the rest of the visit. The prices are simply too high for what you get here. In my opinion everything tasted very bland and bland. The atmosphere also reminds me more of a fast food restaurant, although I find McDonalds much more inviting. Service was okay, there's less to complain about. All in all, I hoped for more.

You know you're at an authentic Mexican restaurant when there are Mexicans sitting at the neighboring tables! Authentic and excellently seasoned dishes, I expressly exclude the beyond meat products that reflect the spirit of the times. As a doctor, I view this with skepticism; Mexican cuisine doesn't need it either. 5 stars for the food and the very attentive and extremely polite service. 3 stars for the non-existent ambience, we sat at the door, cold October, but the temperature was pleasant. I would also like to thank Mike Süsser for the tip and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy Mexican cuisine without hesitation. For guests arriving by car, we recommend the Petersweg car park. 3 minutes walk to the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the organization at Guacamole Regensburg is poor. What you ordered doesn't arrive and dishes are mixed up. You can't always order either, there are often problems with the payment system. You can't communicate well. The portions have become smaller and the food is very expensive. Bad value for money.

I have had a hard time finding good Mexican food in Germany but Guacamole definitely has good Mexican food. I ordered the pick 3 for €12,90 for tacos. I got 2 carnitas and 1 pollo taco. Both were delicious. My companions got a burrito and a bowl. Both were huge and they had a hard time finishing the portions. They have a menu available in English to make it easy.

Special requests are taken into account by the waitress but are not implemented in the kitchen. It wasn't just like that with me, but also at the next table. If you have allergies you shouldn't go here. Additionally, 2 burritos simply took 40 minutes, even though there wasn't much going on. And after bringing it wrong, a new one couldn't be brought in 20 minutes. If you're pressed for time, you shouldn't go here. My companion found the food OK, but nothing special. Way too expensive for what is delivered. No recommendation from me.

Very unfriendly service, the wrong food was brought to me, I then politely said that I didn't order it, was treated stupidly, had to argue until they brought me the right food. Es hat wirklich eher Fast Food Charekter. Und war das vorher gar nicht so bewusst, dass es sich um eine Kette handelt. Das Servicepersonal war nett und unsere Bestellung kam auch recht schnell. Essen war ok und kann man sicherlich mal machen, aber wenn man „schön“ Essen gehen will, würde ich ein anderes Lonal aufsuchen.

It's worth it for a quick Mexican hunger. In general, guacamole is a very solid choice if you are in the mood for Mexican cuisine. However, you should make certain compromises in your expectations. The food is generally very good and served quite attractively. You also can't complain about the relatively short waiting time. Despite a larger group, all drinks and food were received and served quickly and quickly. At this point I would like to praise the sufficient selection of vegetarian/vegan options. The service is there and also quite friendly. Orders are taken quickly and everything is delivered at an appropriate pace. However, you should still make slight compromises here, as the service was sometimes slightly confusing and orders sometimes got mixed up. The ambience can best be compared to Subway or McDonalds. It's quite clinical and doesn't invite you to linger for a long time. Classic system catering.

The food was very good, just slightly over salted. We can recommend the Chilli con Carne. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is simple.

The prices are WAY too high for what you get. The food itself was completely unremarkable. I can't call it bad because at least bad food has flavour, albeit bad flavour. How do you call it "authentic Mexican" and then have exactly 0 spiciness. If your salsa doesn't have any spiciness you've basically just made marinara. Only one thing on the menu had cactus, which is a crying shame, and the meat looked like canned dog food. After I finished eating here and went home had terrible stomach problems. I'm almost impressed at how perfectly this place encapsulated the theme of "mediocre." Only reason I gave it 3 stars and not 2 is because the servers were friendly and attentive.

On the way home from vacation we made a special stop in Regensburg to enjoy authentic Mexican food with you. We weren't disappointed, everything was very tasty and the prices were completely reasonable. The service is friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. We'd love to come back again.

A real experience when you are in Regensburg.

I’ll start with the positive the meat in both el pastor and carnitas tacos were good. Negative I came two days and both days I asked for no onion in my tacos and they put so much. This is not ok especially for people with allergies. If you have allergies you can’t just remove it you have to remake the whole order and that’s a waste of food. I let it slide the first day I came but then it happened again and I told the waitress. She was so unbothered by it which is not ok because once again if you have an allergies and paying for something than you should get what you asked for. I didn’t appreciate her lack of sympathy and lack of apologies. I use to be a waitress and would have never acted with such little concern as she did. Also the kitchen needs to pay better attention this one directly her fault as she didn’t cook the food but to ask for something as simple as do not add onions to my food and you proceed to add a whole onion to it is concerning for the lack of attention. Overall i will not be giving this place a third chance. I came here a second time to give them a second chance to get my order right and they did not. That’s unfortunate service is high in my list for why I come to places more than the actual food. I added pictures of both times I came. I removed onion on both. Kindness is free I don’t understand why is it so hard for all European establishments to understand that.

Nice staff, they were flexible about changing the orders, and they asked about our allergies and they even gave us a free dip. We didnt speak german but they spoke english very well.

Visually it looks like a fast food restaurant. Quickly get in, eat and goodbye. What I mean to say is that you don't sit comfortably. - The waitress was very friendly and ordering was quick and easy. + The guacamole is tasty, but very expensive considering that it doesn't even come with nachos. The children's menu is also not a menu, unfortunately there is no drink included. Two adults and one child (food & drink) for €70 is unfortunately a big minus.

Abbiamo cercato un messicano ed abbiamo scelto quello con maggiori recensioni positive. In realtà nulla di che, a parte le ragazze veramente carine, gentili e professionali. L'aperitivo, offerto, consiste in 4 nachos di numero per 2 persone, con 1/2 kg di 4 salse diverse...¿ Forse sarebbe meglio meno salse, e qualche nachos in più... Il piatto, TaEcos con gamberetti, sapeva di poco... I gamberetti proprio insapore e pochi... Forse 6, o 7...quasi tutti fagioli e cipolle... Un mezzo avocado... Onestamente ci aspettavamo di più, giriamo spesso i ristoranti messicani..!

Die Tacos sind richtig gut, der Beilagen Salat auch top. Bedienung freundlich und die Bestellung auch zügig auf dem Tisch. Man kann entspannt draußen sitzen und das Wetter genießen. Zum Abschluss bestellt man noch einen Kaffee…. Und hier kommt der Punkt Abzug, diese braune Wasser mit Kaffee Geschmack aus der Industrie Maschine ist leider der letzte Eindruck mit dem nach Hause geht. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag mit großer Wirkung, ansonsten sehr gut.

Nice staff but the food was disappointing. We got the starters in after the main courses and the drinks came in in batches after several reminders. When we were about to pay I didn't get a receipt and when I asked for it the staff said the machine was broken but I could take a photo of the computer screen with the bill. When I looked through the bill on the way home, I discovered that we had paid for more drinks than we ordered. However, it was only 6 euros so I couldn't bear to go back for it. But sad considering that I didn't think the food was particularly affordable before.

The food was good but the service could have been better, I had to remind about my drink twice after I ordered. The services were very young, one solution is to perhaps hire a more experienced service. The restaurant was nice and had a beautiful outdoor seating area and a very cozy bar.

The drinks were great, even a little more unusual (various iced teas, lemonades,...). The service was very friendly and accommodating, you could order quickly and the waiting time for drinks/food was reasonable. You also got various dips with a few nachos. Unfortunately, the food itself was nothing special (in the sense of unusual). The vegetarian tacos consisted of vegetables with a little feta, which was more decoration than actual content. Unfortunately, the tortillas themselves were soggy in the middle and therefore tore completely open and you had to eat them with a knife and fork.

Food was ok, but just not spicy so that it suits everyone. The only thing that was really disappointing was the scam at the end. I don't know if it was a mistake, but we were charged for 3 dishes that were already overpriced. When we pointed this out, we were annoyed and were given a new bill. An apology was not to be expected anyway

I had the Barbacoa and Carnitas tacos. 13$ for 3 tacos at the time. They came loaded with meat! Ask for a side of lime and onion and it puts the cherry on top! Chefs kiss 👌🏻
