Very tasty Mexican restaurant. Everything was freshly prepared and special requests were catered for. Service was super nice, we'll be back.

It is literally the best Mexican restaurant in town. The dishes are delicious and quite large portions. The staff is nice. Don't forget to make a reservation beforehand to secure a table.

We spontaneously went here for lunch on our last visit to Regensburg. We ordered a burrito carne asada (€16.90) with extra guacamole (€2.90), the taco mix (€13.80) with extra cheese (€2.40) and extra guacamole (€2.90). , before that as a starter chicharrones (7.90 €), 1 Mezzo Mix 0.33 l (3.90 €), 2 Helle (9.90 €) and a homemade lemonade Agua de Limon (5.90 €). The service staff was friendly and brought the drinks and appetizers quickly. The chicharrones turned out to be puffed up pork skin crusts, like the ones you get as a snack from the chip aisle in the supermarket. I would have expected crispy fried pieces of pork skin, similar to the crispy skin on roast pork, but we were far from that. Then came the main courses, which were quite good, but I find it almost audacious to charge €2.40 on top for a few sprinkles of sprinkled cheese and €2.90 for a few mini dollops of guacamole. In the end we had a total of €66.40 on the bill for “a quick bite to eat” (€72 with a tip, because the service was actually very nice). Actually, we would have had room for dessert, but we passed it up. I don't think we'll come back because the price-performance ratio didn't really convince us.

Rarely have such good Mexican food been eaten in Germany! Staff and atmosphere also great!

The food would be a solid 5 stars, but there are slight deductions for the ambience and the service (not always attentive, but super friendly).

Nice bistro, reservation via internet. Excellent food, service a little slow. Unfortunately, flies sometimes flew here.

The burritos and tacos were very tasty

Fantastic! The food is authentic and very good, the atmosphere is great with good music and very modern decor. The staff is very nice and the food comes out so fast! This place is worth the 45 minute drive I had to make, I will be coming back regularly. Only complaint is the salsa is very mild; not spicy at all.

Strangely, the sauces that you initially get with a few chips hardly taste like anything. The whole thing was probably a foreshadowing of the rest of the visit. The prices are simply too high for what you get here. In my opinion everything tasted very bland and bland. The atmosphere also reminds me more of a fast food restaurant, although I find McDonalds much more inviting. Service was okay, there's less to complain about. All in all, I hoped for more.

You know you're at an authentic Mexican restaurant when there are Mexicans sitting at the neighboring tables! Authentic and excellently seasoned dishes, I expressly exclude the beyond meat products that reflect the spirit of the times. As a doctor, I view this with skepticism; Mexican cuisine doesn't need it either. 5 stars for the food and the very attentive and extremely polite service. 3 stars for the non-existent ambience, we sat at the door, cold October, but the temperature was pleasant. I would also like to thank Mike Süsser for the tip and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy Mexican cuisine without hesitation. For guests arriving by car, we recommend the Petersweg car park. 3 minutes walk to the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the organization at Guacamole Regensburg is poor. What you ordered doesn't arrive and dishes are mixed up. You can't always order either, there are often problems with the payment system. You can't communicate well. The portions have become smaller and the food is very expensive. Bad value for money.

I have had a hard time finding good Mexican food in Germany but Guacamole definitely has good Mexican food. I ordered the pick 3 for €12,90 for tacos. I got 2 carnitas and 1 pollo taco. Both were delicious. My companions got a burrito and a bowl. Both were huge and they had a hard time finishing the portions. They have a menu available in English to make it easy.

Special requests are taken into account by the waitress but are not implemented in the kitchen. It wasn't just like that with me, but also at the next table. If you have allergies you shouldn't go here. Additionally, 2 burritos simply took 40 minutes, even though there wasn't much going on. And after bringing it wrong, a new one couldn't be brought in 20 minutes. If you're pressed for time, you shouldn't go here. My companion found the food OK, but nothing special. Way too expensive for what is delivered. No recommendation from me.

Es hat wirklich eher Fast Food Charekter. Und war das vorher gar nicht so bewusst, dass es sich um eine Kette handelt. Das Servicepersonal war nett und unsere Bestellung kam auch recht schnell. Essen war ok und kann man sicherlich mal machen, aber wenn man „schön“ Essen gehen will, würde ich ein anderes Lonal aufsuchen.

Very unfriendly service, the wrong food was brought to me, I then politely said that I didn't order it, was treated stupidly, had to argue until they brought me the right food. Very long waiting times and poor service, especially the boss was extremely unfriendly. The taste of the food was ok but extremely overpriced

It's worth it for a quick Mexican hunger. In general, guacamole is a very solid choice if you are in the mood for Mexican cuisine. However, you should make certain compromises in your expectations. The food is generally very good and served quite attractively. You also can't complain about the relatively short waiting time. Despite a larger group, all drinks and food were received and served quickly and quickly. At this point I would like to praise the sufficient selection of vegetarian/vegan options. The service is there and also quite friendly. Orders are taken quickly and everything is delivered at an appropriate pace. However, you should still make slight compromises here, as the service was sometimes slightly confusing and orders sometimes got mixed up. The ambience can best be compared to Subway or McDonalds. It's quite clinical and doesn't invite you to linger for a long time. Classic system catering.

The food was very good, just slightly over salted. We can recommend the Chilli con Carne. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is simple.

The prices are WAY too high for what you get. The food itself was completely unremarkable. I can't call it bad because at least bad food has flavour, albeit bad flavour. How do you call it "authentic Mexican" and then have exactly 0 spiciness. If your salsa doesn't have any spiciness you've basically just made marinara. Only one thing on the menu had cactus, which is a crying shame, and the meat looked like canned dog food. After I finished eating here and went home had terrible stomach problems. I'm almost impressed at how perfectly this place encapsulated the theme of "mediocre." Only reason I gave it 3 stars and not 2 is because the servers were friendly and attentive.

On the way home from vacation we made a special stop in Regensburg to enjoy authentic Mexican food with you. We weren't disappointed, everything was very tasty and the prices were completely reasonable. The service is friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. We'd love to come back again.

A real experience when you are in Regensburg.

That was excellent. The meals were fresh, excellent and very tasty - very well prepared. Servise very nice.

I’ll start with the positive the meat in both el pastor and carnitas tacos were good. Negative I came two days and both days I asked for no onion in my tacos and they put so much. This is not ok especially for people with allergies. If you have allergies you can’t just remove it you have to remake the whole order and that’s a waste of food. I let it slide the first day I came but then it happened again and I told the waitress. She was so unbothered by it which is not ok because once again if you have an allergies and paying for something than you should get what you asked for. I didn’t appreciate her lack of sympathy and lack of apologies. I use to be a waitress and would have never acted with such little concern as she did. Also the kitchen needs to pay better attention this one directly her fault as she didn’t cook the food but to ask for something as simple as do not add onions to my food and you proceed to add a whole onion to it is concerning for the lack of attention. Overall i will not be giving this place a third chance. I came here a second time to give them a second chance to get my order right and they did not. That’s unfortunate service is high in my list for why I come to places more than the actual food. I added pictures of both times I came. I removed onion on both. Kindness is free I don’t understand why is it so hard for all European establishments to understand that.

Food was super tasty. An indication of the level of spiciness would be great, as my daughter had a bowl that she almost couldn't eat.

Nice staff, they were flexible about changing the orders, and they asked about our allergies and they even gave us a free dip. We didnt speak german but they spoke english very well.

Visually it looks like a fast food restaurant. Quickly get in, eat and goodbye. What I mean to say is that you don't sit comfortably. - The waitress was very friendly and ordering was quick and easy. + The guacamole is tasty, but very expensive considering that it doesn't even come with nachos. The children's menu is also not a menu, unfortunately there is no drink included. Two adults and one child (food & drink) for €70 is unfortunately a big minus.

Stumbled past spontaneously and was completely convinced. Super tasty, good service. If I'm in Regensburg again, I know where to go! Also discovered the great Loltun sauce! Thank you for that! Gladly again and a sincere recommendation!

We were thoroughly impressed. The homemade lemonade was super delicious, as were the quesadillas and the beyond meat buritos. The waitresses were all very friendly and it was nice to sit outside :) Had a lovely evening there!

Abbiamo cercato un messicano ed abbiamo scelto quello con maggiori recensioni positive. In realtà nulla di che, a parte le ragazze veramente carine, gentili e professionali. L'aperitivo, offerto, consiste in 4 nachos di numero per 2 persone, con 1/2 kg di 4 salse diverse...¿ Forse sarebbe meglio meno salse, e qualche nachos in più... Il piatto, TaEcos con gamberetti, sapeva di poco... I gamberetti proprio insapore e pochi... Forse 6, o 7...quasi tutti fagioli e cipolle... Un mezzo avocado... Onestamente ci aspettavamo di più, giriamo spesso i ristoranti messicani..!

The Guacamole in Regensburg is definitely worth a visit! The food is delicious and the prices are fair. The service is friendly. An all-round successful evening.

Sweet shop, friendly service, super tasty food, short waiting times, large portions, good value for money! ... I don't know if it's 100% authentic Mexican, but I definitely recommend it either way :)

Die Tacos sind richtig gut, der Beilagen Salat auch top. Bedienung freundlich und die Bestellung auch zügig auf dem Tisch. Man kann entspannt draußen sitzen und das Wetter genießen. Zum Abschluss bestellt man noch einen Kaffee…. Und hier kommt der Punkt Abzug, diese braune Wasser mit Kaffee Geschmack aus der Industrie Maschine ist leider der letzte Eindruck mit dem nach Hause geht. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag mit großer Wirkung, ansonsten sehr gut.

Unique dishes in authentic Mexican style. The staff is very friendly. Plus the atmosphere is great.

Nice staff but the food was disappointing. We got the starters in after the main courses and the drinks came in in batches after several reminders. When we were about to pay I didn't get a receipt and when I asked for it the staff said the machine was broken but I could take a photo of the computer screen with the bill. When I looked through the bill on the way home, I discovered that we had paid for more drinks than we ordered. However, it was only 6 euros so I couldn't bear to go back for it. But sad considering that I didn't think the food was particularly affordable before.

The food was good but the service could have been better, I had to remind about my drink twice after I ordered. The services were very young, one solution is to perhaps hire a more experienced service. The restaurant was nice and had a beautiful outdoor seating area and a very cozy bar.

Friendly and fast staff. The food is good average. However, we had a hibiscus cocktail that was made with far too much alcohol. That's why it was almost inedible.

It's damn tasty and beautiful there but a bit expensive

The drinks were great, even a little more unusual (various iced teas, lemonades,...). The service was very friendly and accommodating, you could order quickly and the waiting time for drinks/food was reasonable. You also got various dips with a few nachos. Unfortunately, the food itself was nothing special (in the sense of unusual). The vegetarian tacos consisted of vegetables with a little feta, which was more decoration than actual content. Unfortunately, the tortillas themselves were soggy in the middle and therefore tore completely open and you had to eat them with a knife and fork.

A few years ago you could still have a burrito made from scratch. And now you choose this and that in the menu and that's it.

Food was ok, but just not spicy so that it suits everyone. The only thing that was really disappointing was the scam at the end. I don't know if it was a mistake, but we were charged for 3 dishes that were already overpriced. When we pointed this out, we were annoyed and were given a new bill. An apology was not to be expected anyway

I had the Barbacoa and Carnitas tacos. 13$ for 3 tacos at the time. They came loaded with meat! Ask for a side of lime and onion and it puts the cherry on top! Chefs kiss 👌🏻

Food was great. Unfortunately, the three young service ladies weren't exactly on their toes when it came to clearing things up. The only thing that mattered was whether we wanted to order something else. They had a lot to talk about among themselves.

The tacos here are very authentic and not as overloaded as is the case in many other Mexican restaurants in Germany. The tacos 'al pastor' are really close to the tacos in CDMX, for example. These were also served to us in a corn tortilla. However, for some other tacos (e.g. Spicy Shrimp) the kitchen opted for wheat tortillas, which was a bit of a shame. I can also recommend Margherita and Horchata.

Very cute little place. Service was quick and friendly. The food was very tasty, the portions were large and the price was completely reasonable. There is an open kitchen and you can see various dishes being prepared on a screen in the dining room. Only the atmosphere could be a little more comfortable. And what was also great was that they asked about allergies. We will be back definitely :)

There were three of us and we decided on the burritos. The portion is relatively large, but the burritos themselves were quite simple, so I could probably do it myself. You have to pour the sauce yourself, otherwise the burrito will be too dry. Nevertheless, the team was friendly and overall the atmosphere is quite nice. However, I was missing that certain something.

I didn't get my food until everyone else was already finished. That's an absolute no-go for me and that's why I don't come here anymore. The taste was ok. The menu should have said that there were mushrooms, because that's not for everyone. All in all, quite annoying for me. Aperol Spritz is served in glasses of different sizes. So some people get a lot less drink for the same high price. That must not be!

Super nice and courteous staff. The portions are definitely sufficient and it tastes really good. I've never been to Mexico, but it seems very authentic and I'll definitely come back.

Very nice restaurant with a nice outdoor area. The service was very friendly and had a few tips in store. The food was very fresh and tasty, really great! We had taccos, a bowl and a children's menu and were well full. You can then bring the food to your desired level of spiciness using various sauces. Definitely try it out. Reservation is an advantage.

As someone from South Carolina, USA, and with the entire southern United States now blanketed with Mexican restaurants, I would say that the menu offerings here are among the best you will find in Germany. The tacos de carne asada (although a little sweet) are quite close to those offered at authentic Mexican restaurants in the south.

We had to wait for a bit to be served, but then the food arrived very quickly. We had a vegetarian burrito and a "verde" hot bowl. Both were quite good, but a bit heavy on rice. The complementary sauces came in a nice variety and helped spice up the food. The portions were quite big and the prices reasonable.

To me, it did not seem so authentic yet it was good and moreover the portion was quite big. It's always a good plus to have it big, but if you bring ladies then they would not finish one dish.

The tacos were amazing! Totally worth it. The gringa was not that good, is big and looks nice, but they added zucchini inside and it totally killed the taste. 😞

Best Mexican food in Germany. I wish they didn't downgrade the spice for the delicate German palette though. I feel like there could be a "choose your own adventure" track for folks that prefer the authentic kick, while first-timers could get the milder, but still tasty, option.

Very nice little shop with a cozy atmosphere, modern look and friendly staff. You can look into the kitchen through the large glass pane. There is a very large selection of Mexican dishes, from burritos to tacos and bowls, as well as a small selection of drinks. The dishes are all very tasty and authentic and can be refined with an extra selection of sauces and dips. The only drawback is the time, as the food comes very quickly after ordering and the starter is often served directly with the main course, so the time spent in the restaurant is very short.

My tacos were so soggy even though they had just arrived. That when you pick it up everything is on your plate and the taco splits into two. And when I mentioned this they said it was just because of the vegetables - my friend only had meat and beans in it so no vegetables and it was the same with him. Conclusion has nothing to do with a taco

There were 5 of us including children. It was a catastrophe, everything is frozen, finished goods, fast food, system catering, has nothing to do with cooking. And it has nothing to do with Latino or South America. My stomach hurt. It was very salty and didn't taste fresh. 120€ for nothing. Never, ever again. Unhygienic and unappetizing
