Despite the high level of stress, the service was very friendly and motivated. The food tasted very good and we would like to come back. Be sure to keep the nut cream balls!!! 4 stars for ambience only because we think that it isn't quite as comfortable in the hallway when you sit at this table.

We spontaneously looked for a vegan restaurant on our vacation and found exactly that in the "green galley". Delicious vegan, very varied dishes await customers here in a rustic ambience. We actually had a hard time deciding, even though (or perhaps because) the menu is very clear and small. Our dishes were delivered quickly, were extremely tasty and the service was great and quick, even though the restaurant was full (we still managed to get a seat at the bar). In addition to delicious vegan dishes, there are also delicious non-alcoholic wine, cocktails, shots and long drinks (but also "normal" alcoholic drinks). All in all, a great restaurant and worth a visit for everyone, whether vegan or not.

I am happy and with a clear conscience to give full marks here, although I have to make one serious point of criticism or a corresponding suggestion; see below, first the positive: My meal (quiche “forgotten vegetables” and the side salad) tasted excellent and was very nicely prepared. The service remained attentive right from the start and the waiting time after ordering was perfectly fine; Everything was freshly prepared. What I miss very much and don't understand that in such a dedicated restaurant this is almost completely missing: dishes with legumes*, apart from a main course with (which I really appreciate) tempeh; But I didn't choose the dish with tempeh because it was served with fusilli (spiral-shaped pasta), which I personally can't appreciate in a restaurant of this level (although of course many people are "crazy" about pasta and this is therefore perfectly fine ). I also missed mushrooms, but that's not as serious as the missing legumes (*beans, lentils, peas). If the excuse given was that legumes drive winds and are therefore not valued: If the intestinal flora has become accustomed to legumes, the winds will stop. And they are essential for vegans as a source of protein. Speaking of morning glory: For me, it was created by the seitan that was in my dish (I was surprised at how the marinade tasted. I don't normally eat seitan because any meat substitute is completely unnecessary and the effort/waste involved in creating it is gigantic). Long story short: Instead of Seitan, just use legumes, which are available in over 1000 variations. Thanks!

This was my second time eating there. And it is, without a lie, the best restaurant I have ever been to. I've been vegan for two years now and I'm really happy that there's such a great restaurant. My non-vegan parents also really enjoyed it. I also really like the seasonally changing menu, so you always have something new to discover. I will definitely come by more often.

The food was ok. Portion very large. Price performance OK. It was full and a reservation is definitely worth it. The map is quite clear. The service was super nice.

Wow! I ate there for the first time yesterday. It's very cozy and beautiful there. The food was ultra good. It tasted very fresh, full of flavor and healthy. We had a hard-core meat eater with us - he missed absolutely nothing. I had a main course and was (unfortunately) very full afterwards. So I have to come back. The prices are expensive but you are definitely doing something good for yourself, your palate and your health.

Really really great. Unfortunately, there is no such thing in Berlin, where I live. I've only been there once so far and was super happy with everything. The quality is great, as I know it from my home in southern Germany in vegan restaurants. Unfortunately I can't find anything like that in Berlin. I'd love to come back but it's a bit difficult in terms of timing as I have to travel by train.

When the restaurant is full, the food takes a long time to reach the table. I've had better experiences in other restaurants under similar circumstances. Depending on your taste, the food is wonderful for vegan cuisine. I know people who didn't like it at all. I know exactly what tastes good and what I want, so I often order the same thing. And it always tastes great, is very elaborate and freshly prepared, very healthy and looks great.

Where this review comes from is a mystery to me. We had dinner there on Tuesday evening. Unfortunately I have to say, I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Quiche was a bummer, totally overcooked, tasted like nothing. Same with the potato balls. I don't know what you eat at home. 20 euros for the quiche was an absolute disgrace. Sorry, but that has to be done

Spontaneously devoured vegan delicacies in the Green Galley. It was an absolute celebration. Got a place without a reservation. When the weather was beautiful, we were served outside. Once you're seated, all you have to do is let us know inside. As a nightcap there was homemade liqueur.

We ordered food here for our wedding on July 20th and it was absolutely perfect! Great communication and organization, super tasty and very diverse food. The prices are really fair and transparent, and the quantity was great. Even our meat lovers were thrilled. Absolute recommendation!

The food there was super delicious! There's a small menu, so not a lot of choice, but that's not a bad thing as it's still hard to decide. The service was also very friendly and we felt comfortable. Plus, it's just really relaxing not having to worry about whether the food is vegan. In “regular” restaurants you always have to think and ask questions when in doubt.

Extreme waiting times! We waited over 70 minutes for our food. 2 out of 6 ate separately. The food itself was very good. Everything is freshly prepared. You should have already ordered on the way to the restaurant. The children's corner should also be highlighted positively.

The service staff present had a lot to do. She had to cope with the rush alone. It tasted excellent. The menu is fine and is constantly adapted to the season. So no Chickimicki. So an all-round successful selection and an unconditional recommendation from me.

I had previously made special contact via email regarding intolerances. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the chef didn't know anything about it and unfortunately the food wasn't exactly what I wanted. The rest of the family enjoyed it. The waiting time was a bit longer even though it was quite empty at lunchtime. Just one chef and one waitress as far as I could see. Very nice play area for children and children's chairs and children's cutlery (big plus). We had ordered a special children's meal for a small child, but I would have liked a smaller portion served on a more child-friendly plate, the plate was very unwieldy for a small child. Tables overall quite tight with several people. I thought the house was beautifully designed. Prices are rather higher. Maybe a few cheaper dishes for lunch would be nice here. The children's meal alone costs almost €7.

We were with you yesterday and were really impressed with the starter. The nut cream balls and the beetroot carpaccio were very tasty and the vinaigrette on the salad was very harmonious. The noodle pan from the daily menu surprised me, especially with the vegan tzatziki, but I was still very jealous of the Seitan-Kaseller from my companion. I have rarely eaten seitan that has been fried so crispy. Absolutely top! The chocolate mousse and the orange pudding sweetened the end - also highly recommended. Only the latte macchiato wasn't my cup of tea. The oat drink was already mixed with the espresso and wasn't as strong as expected. We'd love to come by again. Keep it up! Next time we'll try the kale chips too.

I visited the Green Caboose as part of a trip with four friends. The food was outstanding. Without exception, everything there was above average delicious. The service was rather reserved, but I didn't find it annoying. The price is absolutely reasonable and I would encourage any carnivore who is hesitant to go for it, because you won't regret a visit there.

Excellent food, good prices. I would love to come back and have recommended it to others. The turmeric carrot risotto and the pear Helene were really refined and tasty. The best dining experience in a long time, gladly again.

Five of us had dinner in the Green Galley. Every dish was a highlight! The kale chips are also an insider tip! Our service was very friendly and the restaurant atmosphere was very cozy, with calm music and beautiful furnishings. Even our carnivores thought the food was very good! My wife and I ate here twice this weekend because we got a voucher for Christmas. Food was very, very good...maybe we waited a little longer, but the taste made up for it...;) The Virgin Sunrise bridged the waiting time well...✌️😂 In total, we tried 3 dishes, 3 starters and a dessert on two evenings... and everything was very tasty...:) And people... definitely try the Kassler Seitan! 🤤🤤 You can also go out to eat very well without having been given a voucher beforehand...;) Highly recommended...oh did I mention that the portions are very large? ^^ A little tip... definitely book a table on the weekend, it often seems to be full. It's also "just" a relatively small restaurant. :) Have fun and enjoy your meal...;)

vegan surprises, very nice and rustic atmosphere

My first visit to a vegan restaurant! Guaranteed not to be the last! We had nut cream balls as a starter! I have never experienced anything like it! This caused a real taste explosion in the mouth. Not to mention the brilliant consistency. Loose, light, creamy, fluffy, nutty, awesome!!! Afterwards I had a casserole with an almond crispy crust. That was pretty tasty too. My girlfriend and I were both so full that we postponed dessert until the next visit because we wanted to enjoy it too. About the rooms: very comfortably divided into different areas. The restaurant is really nice and very inviting due to its small size. We had the Seitan Kasseler and it even tastes better than the “real” one. We are completely thrilled and thank you for the great food.

Wir waren sehr skeptisch, ob wir zufrieden und satt werden. Aber wir wurden sehr positiv überrascht,das Essen war sehr gut angerichtet und perfekt zusammengestellt. Auch waren die Speisen super gewürzt und wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Wiedermal sehr lecker. Ich komme gern wieder.

Das Essen ist einfach großartig gewesen. Die Portion war gut und sättigend. Leider war die Wartezeit ziemlich lang, aber wenn man viel zu erzählen hat geht das. Edit: Zur Frage des Inhabers, es waren ca. 40 Minuten von der Bestellung bis zum Essen. Es war aber auch recht voll.

Sehr gutes Essen, alles frisch zubereitet und gut gewürzt. Netter Service, draussen sitzt man etwas unruhig direkt am Gehweg. Leider eine halben Punkt Abzug, weil in meiner Gemüse-Lasagne sehr viele Karotten waren, in der Karte stand ganz anderes Gemüse wie Aubergine, Zucchini und Paprika. Die Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen, da kann jeder etwas passendes für sich finden. Würden jederzeit wieder dort einkehren. (Besser mit Reservierung)

Ein nettes kleines Restaurant, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben😊. Reservierung wird empfohlen! Bedienung war schnell und sehr nett, das Essen wirklich lecker. Portionsgröße war ausreichend. Hier wird frisch gekocht und auf die Herkunft der Speisen geachtet.

Die Auswahl ist sehr vielfältig. Das Essen war überragend. Beim nächsten Besuch in Rostock auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Nettes Lokal mit frisch zubereiteten Speisen, reichhaltig, schmackhaft und vielfältig. Die Crème brûlée hingegen war fad und flüssig, der gebrannte Zucker schmeckte nach Rauch anstatt nach Karamell, die dazu gereichten Beeren unharmonisch sauer.

Super leckeres veganes Restaurant mit toller Auswahl. Essen war für alle (auch nicht-veganer) sehr lecker. Preislich auch voll okay. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir mal wieder Urlaub in der Nähe machen.

Absolut zu empfehlen. Bin kein veganer, nicht mal Vegetarier, probiere aber gerne mal andere Kocharten. Gerichte sind liebevoll und gekonnt zubereitet, die Zutaten qualitativ und schmackhaft. Die beste erlebte vegane Küche bisher.

Der Service und das Ambiente sind toll! Wir hatten eine äußerst freundliche Bedienung. Leider stimmt jedoch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Für 18€ einen Gyros Teller (Seitan) mit Reis und etwas Salat anzubieten und einfach sehr teuer, was sich leider mit dem Geschmack nicht rechtfertigen lässt (relativ ungewürzt). Es hat nicht besser geschmeckt als in der Mensa.

Wir waren gestern spontan hier essen und haben es nicht bereut. Es war alles sehr schön angerichtet und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren üppig und die Zutaten hochwertig. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das Essen war auch für nicht Veganer sehr lecker und für mich hat persönlich alles gepasst. Die Qualität der Zutaten schmeckt man und der Service ist super. Wir kommen gerne wieder, die Preise haben mich positiv überrascht.

Wir waren mit unserer veganen Hochzeitstorte sehr zufrieden. Die Absprachen vorab waren unkompliziert, genau wie die Abholung. Die Torte hat äußerlich und geschmacklich völlig unseren Geschmack getroffen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder eine Torte bestellen.

Wir haben ein Catering bei der Grünen Kombüse bestellt, was sollen wir sagen? Wir waren und sind noch total begeistert, von der vielseitigen Auswahl, der komplikationslose Kontakt und der Geschmack. Es hat allen Gästen geschmeckt, einige hatten Sorge „Hochzeit ohne Fleisch“, aber diese Sorge war vollkommen unbegründet. Wir haben nur positives Feedback erhalten und können die Grüne Kombüse nur weiter empfehlen.

Ich liebe es hier mittagessen zu gehen. Man bekommt schnell ein gesundes veganes essen mit regionalen Zutaten. Einzigartig in der Stadt!
