Grill'n Chill in Augsburg

Wir waren an einem Sonntagabend ohne Reservierung dort. Da der Laden fast komplett leer war, sind wir einfach reingegangen und haben gefragt, ob wir uns irgendwo hinsetzen können. Daraufhin kam ein Mitarbeiter und hat uns in einem ziemlich unfreundlichen Ton wieder nach draußen geschickt. Nach ungefähr zwei Minuten wurden wir dann aber doch wieder reingebeten. Das hätte man wirklich auch freundlich sagen können. Generell hatte man das Gefühl, dass man von oben herab behandelt wird. Sowohl die Art, wie mit uns gesprochen wurde, als auch die Blicke waren einfach unangenehm. So sollte man mit Gästen nicht umgehen. Schade, denn der erste Eindruck war dadurch direkt ruiniert.

Traurig aber wahr, habe mir ein Bier an der Tankstelle gegenüber gekauft weil der Kellner so unfreundlich war. Sehr schade:-)

Modern eingerichtetes Restaurant mit ausreichend Parkplätzen vor dem Lokal. Die Steaks hatten sehr gute Qualität. Die Pommes waren echte Handarbeit. Als kleines entree gabs Weissbrotschnitten mit Mayo/Senfsosse. Das Preis Leistungsberhältnis passte. Allerdings darf man sich keine 5 Sterne erwarten.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant zufällig entdeckt; ich wollte einfach nur etwas essen, und wir wohnten im Hotel in der Nähe. Die Rindersteaks, das gegrillte Gemüse und die außergewöhnlichen Pommes frites waren einfach fantastisch. Es war sehr lecker und preiswert. BBQ Burger was bitte soll das für ein Bun sein? So eine art trockene latschige Semmel mit irgendeinem komischen Gewürz innen. Oregano? Noch nicht mal angetoastet. Das Fleisch trocken und hart, war wohl länger warmgehalten worden und ausgetrocknet, eben nicht frisch zubereitet, die BBQ Sauce nur süß und geschmacksarm. Auch andere Speisen hatte ich dort schon abgetrocknet hart und wieder erhitzt bekommen. So zum Beispiel das Omelette. 8,90€ für die Tonne. Niedrigstes Kantinenniveau. Da gehe ich fortan lieber woanders hin und zahle ein paar Euro mehr für frisch zubereitete Speisen. Latte Machiatto war auch sehr schlecht. Der Espresso lief viel zu lange. War demzufolge absolut verbrannt und überextrahiert. Miserables Gesamterlebnis. Die Angestellten können nichts dafür. Hier krankt das System von oben.

Wir haben das Grill'n Chill und die Bäckerei erst entdeckt. Ein wunderschönes Ambiente mit Holz Bambus Details. Das best ist , für uns, die spieleck für die Kids. Echt schön groß mit Tischen nebenan..Perfekt Wir haben sowohl vom Restaurant als auch was von der Bäckerei gegessen/getrunken und die Preise sind angemessen und Portion größe auch. Dies ist ein erschreckendes Beispiel dafür, wie ein so toller Ort und ein so erfolgreiches Unternehmen durch eine einzige unverschämte Person ruiniert werden können. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Ich bin aus Hawaii angereist und habe ganz Bayern bereist. Es gab so viele wunderschöne Orte. Niemand war jemals unfreundlich zu mir, aber diese Kellnerin war absolut respektlos und hat ständig unsere Meinung geändert, als wir uns hingesetzt haben. Und das, obwohl es gar kein Problem gab. Ich schreibe diese Bewertung, um dem Inhaber und der Geschäftsleitung zu zeigen, dass solche Mitarbeiter absolut unprofessionell sind und dem Unternehmen schaden können. Wenn ich so eine Mitarbeiterin in meinem Restaurant hätte, würde ich sie wahrscheinlich sofort zur Rede stellen. Sie weiß nicht, wie man mit Menschen umgeht, und ist dazu auch nicht fähig. Ich empfehle Ihnen als Inhaber eines Restaurants mit über 70 Mitarbeitern dringend, Ihrer Kellnerin eine Schulung zu geben, damit sie ihre Einstellung zum Umgang mit Gästen und zur Kommunikation ändert oder sich vielleicht sogar eine bessere Stelle sucht. Wir haben dieses Restaurant gewählt, weil es in der Nähe unseres Hotels lag. Die Menge an Speisen hat uns beeindruckt; wir waren eigentlich zum Abendessen da, kamen aber am nächsten Tag gleich wieder zum Frühstück. Guter Preis, alles war köstlich, ich komme auf jeden Fall öfter wieder, wenn ich in Augsburg bin. Sehr empfehlenswert! 🤗😊

Nach dem schon gelungenen Unbau jetzt leider zur Massenabfertigung gewandelt, nicht mehr so gemütlich. Bei einer kleinen Änderung wegen Unverträglichkeit wurde alles verwechselt, war ziemlich ärgerlich. Über die Qualität der Produkte braucht man nicht reden, die ist immer top und besticht durch Qualität. Parkplatzsuche ebenfalls nervtötend, vor dem Haus selbst am Montagmittag alles voll.

Wir sind immer wieder gerne in Grill‘n Chill als Gast und fühlen uns jedesmal sehr wohl. Die Renovierung hat sich so gut gelohnt es sieht fantastisch aus - sehr gemütlich und einladend. Vor allem die Terrasse ist in den Sommertagen für einen kalten Drink perfekt geeignet. Die Gerichte sind immer frisch und sehr lecker. Danke für die schöne Ambiente🥰

Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen. Wir saßen zunächst oben, dort konnte man sich aufgrund schreiender und wild rennender Kinder leider nicht unterhalten, sodass wir uns nach unten gesetzt haben. Der Service am Tisch war gut, vorne an der Theke leider nicht wirklich. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht überragend. Die Auswahl auf der Karte war jedoch gut und es kann bestimmt jeder was passendes finden.

Leider war der Service enttäuschend. Die Kellnerin mit Brille war recht unhöflich und unfreundlich. Ich würde ihr eine Schulung in Kundenservice und guten Manieren empfehlen. 🙂 Insgesamt könnte die Atmosphäre im Café durch ein professionelleres und einladenderes Auftreten deutlich verbessert werden.

Der Kaffee war wirklich sehr gut, aber der Service hat das ganze Erlebnis ruiniert. Gehörlose Gäste anzuschreien ist keine Lösung und kann kaum als professionelles Verhalten bezeichnet werden. Noch unpassender war, dass die Bedienung sich offen über Gäste am anderen Ende des Lokals äußerte. Seit dem Umbau, deutlich im Preis angezogen und ehemalige Gerichte (vegetarische Platte mit Gemüse und Käse) nur noch "abgrspeckt" im Angebot. Vor dem Umbau, waren wir defintiv öfter da. Personal ist freundlich

Das positive zuerst - das Essen ist gewohnt sehr gut und auch der Preis ist nicht übertrieben. Aber seit gestern Abend ärgert mich ein Vorkommen beim abholen von Speisen. Da Nacho Chips auf der Speisekarte stehen, haben wir diese (wie schon öfter) bestellen wollen. Nun hieß es plötzlich, das geht nicht und auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, der Preis würde das nicht rechtfertigen. Je länger ich darüber nachdenke, desto mehr ärgert mich das. Diese Erklärung ist schon etwas fragwürdig, gelinde gesagt. Welcher Preis ist denn gerechtfertigt? Und weshalb steht dies dann noch auf der Karte? Ich überlege ernsthaft, ob es für mich noch gerechtfertigt ist dort hinzugehen. Schade, denn wie gesagt - ansonsten sehr schön dort und wirklich lecker.

Katastrophe. Wer hätte nur ahnen können, dass am Muttertag vielleicht etwas mehr Personal nötig wäre. Wir mussten geschlagene 40 Minuten anstehen, nur um unsere Frühstücksbestellung aufzugeben. Die Schlange mit mindestens 40 Menschen zog sich durch das ganze Restaurant. Für Frühstück war lediglich eine einzige Kasse geöffnet. Das Personal arbeitete leider alles andere als zügig.

Ein wirklich guter Ort zum Verweilen. Alles ist super.

Absoluter Krampf Wenn man schon reservieren, dann jedoch wie immer keinen Parkplatz findet, auch nach 15 Minuten warten, hat man den Mund irgendwann voll und fährt zur besser organisierten Konkurrenz. Wie kann man es schaffen, einen so großen Parkplatz so idiotisch zu nutzen, dass maximal wenig Autos Platz finden. Daher wohl lieber planbar zur Konkurren. Nach mitlerweile erfolgtem Besuch, müsste man noch mehr Sterne abziehen, wenn das möglich wäre. Hygienisch ein Sau laden. Der Junge Herr am Grill, fasst zuerst rohes Geflügel, dannach Käse und alles andere in der Küche mit selben Handschuhen an. Da braucht wer gewaltig Nachhilfe. Absolut nicht tragbarer Zustand und obendrein auch noch ein Riesen Gesundheitsrisiko

Ich liebe die Bäckerei in Deutschland. Super! Im Obergeschoss gibt es eine kleine Spielecke für Kinder. Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Selbstbedienung. Top Frühstück.

Oft bestellen wir Buffalo Chicken Wings und Chicken Nuggets mit Pommes. Während man auf die Bestellung wartet, kann man frisches Brot mit einer leckeren Knoblauchcreme genießen. Das Interieur ist sehr schön und vermittelt immer ein Gefühl von Frühling oder Sommer. Zu den Minuspunkten: Nach 17:00 Uhr stehen auf fast allen Tischen Reserviert-Schilder, und manchmal könnte der Service besser sein.

Leider war nirgendwo angeschrieben (weder online noch im Laden selbst) das man Gerichte wie Burger, große Salate, etc. erst ab 11 Uhr bestellen kann. Als ich einen Burger bestellen wollte hat der Mitarbeiter erst mal laut zu lachen angefangen und meinte "Nein. Einfach nur nein. Nein!" Ich hielt es erst für seltsamen Humor doch dann erklärte er mir das dies erst ab 11 Uhr möglich wäre. Das an sich ist ja noch okay, aber dann schreibt es irgendwo an. Viel schlimmer fand ich die herablassende und offen unverschämte Reaktion des Mitarbeiters. Einfach nur respektlos. In diesen Laden werde ich ganz sicher nie wieder gehen.

Mein erster Besuch nach der Renovierung hat bei mir einen äußerst positiven Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Neugestaltung ist aus meiner Sicht sehr gelungen,das Ambiente passt und die Waren beim Balletshofer waren und sind sowieso Spitze. Wir werden bald wieder zu Gast sein.

The organization is poorly structured. There's a lot of room for improvement. Some staff members are completely clueless. But that's always been the case, and it probably won't change.

Very, very disappointing. We always loved eating there, but today... wow, neither the service nor the food was up to par. The food was bland and had absolutely no flavor. Whether it was the fries, the sour cream, or the burgers... We have rarely experienced such a disappointment when eating out and will definitely be avoiding that restaurant for a while. Either the kitchen is having a crisis and taking the waitstaff with them, or something has gone wrong since the renovation, and the quality is no longer what it was a year ago. A real shame.

We ate here today at 2 pm and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. All the dishes were absolutely delicious. We would especially like to commend the young man (of southern European descent) who took our order. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and courteous. This is the kind of service staff one hopes for these days – his friendly manner and excellent service were truly outstanding. We will definitely be back.

I have to change my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. We've been coming here for years and often visit several times a month. The restaurant looks great after the renovation. My husband and I ordered a burger meal with fries, and it wasn't busy. We specifically asked that my burger be cooked through, emphasizing the importance of this. We were allowed to pick up our food, but my husband's fries were sweet potato fries instead of regular potatoes. We didn't say anything because we didn't want the food to be wasted. When I bit into my burger, I found, firstly, way too much mustard, and my husband's fries were too. Secondly, the meat was red inside. I find it very disappointing that they don't cater to customer requests, even though I mentioned it twice – once when I placed my order and again after paying. I couldn't eat the burger because, for a specific reason, I can't eat raw food. It's a real shame to pay so much only to end up with fries.

The service was very slow, and I received the wrong size steak. Unfortunately, the staff offered no compensation or solution. Furthermore, the tables, not just ours, were unclean.

I've enjoyed eating there for years. The ambiance is really lovely, especially with the lighting in the evening. The service is still excellent, but the food disappointed me. I always ordered the turkey breast schnitzel with a baked potato, but two pieces of bread were missing, which were always skewered through the top. I don't know if this is intentional and the bread isn't included anymore, but for the price, they could have added a bit more... €14.90 (I think it was) for a turkey breast schnitzel plus an extra €4 for the side dish... That's really steep! What a shame... It used to be much better.

I celebrated my birthday at Grill'n Chill and I'm thrilled with how smoothly everything went. We were very well looked after and the breakfast was delicious. The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with, and the children loved the wonderful play area. A little tip: don't dress too warmly, it's very hot! :) Thanks for everything!

Much nicer than before. Our group of five got a table for four, and they brought out an extra chair. It was okay since we were only there for 1.5 hours. However, it's not a restaurant I'd choose for a longer visit. The service was very attentive. The burgers tasted good, but didn't look very appetizing. I did like the appetizer – baguette with cheese dip.

The group was very satisfied. Vanessa's excellent service deserves special mention. She really enhances the Grill'n Chill experience. We'll gladly come back.

After the renovation, it now looks quite bright and welcoming. The renovation was truly necessary. The parking situation remains simply disastrous; they should have redesigned it as well. Everyone parks where they want and how they want.

Simply delicious food. The price is perfectly reasonable for the quality. It's important to reserve a table, as the restaurant is very popular. Easily accessible via the B17. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Bavaria.

Food was good. Service was very friendly. The new chairs are very uncomfortable; the armrests are much too high. The new boho style is quite nice, but the ceiling lights and decorations are real dust magnets and not very hygienic for a restaurant.

The only place I trust to cook a medium-rare steak. I usually order medium to avoid getting bloody, but they really know how to do it here. The food is great and the atmosphere is just right. It used to be a car dealership, but they've done a nice job converting it. UPDATE 11/2025: They no longer serve filet mignon. My iced tea was quite watery and I got dry fries. The staff didn't show up again after serving us. The new chairs are very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating because of this.

As a family, we were very disappointed with our visit after the reopening. While the ambiance was pleasant and bright, the temperature upstairs was around 40 degrees Celsius, which was almost unbearable. Self-service is certainly efficient and not a problem for us, but it does detract from the cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, all four burgers were cold and tasted disappointing. It's a shame, because we used to enjoy visiting the restaurant, but under these circumstances, we won't be returning.

The atmosphere is simply wonderful; it feels like being on vacation. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the portions were just right. The service was very friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back. (We'll try the breakfast next time ;-)

Unfortunately, we were disappointed this time, as we're used to much better service from this restaurant. Our food was served lukewarm to cold, and the staff kept us waiting for about 20 minutes. Even after several "Excuse me"s and a clear wave, we were only given a quick glance and ignored. As a small consolation, we were given free coffee, but the overall service has noticeably declined.

Unfortunately disappointing. Orders arrived at the table individually, making it difficult to eat together. The drinks were underinflated, and despite complaining, there was no improvement. They should really check the CO2 level at the tap! Definitely room for improvement!

The food was delicious. The service was very slow—the poor staff had to carry every order up the stairs from the ground floor to the first floor. It was very crowded and terribly noisy! The seating was very uncomfortable.

Not what it used to be - Upon arrival, we had to wait about four minutes before anyone approached us, even though there was no one else in line. Then it took another 25 minutes or so for our order to be taken. Overall, I got the impression that the service was significantly overwhelmed that day. Near us, a mother was changing her child's diaper on the floor, which I personally found unpleasant. The area also didn't seem particularly clean to me. We waited around 30-40 minutes for our food. Visually, I really like the new boho style after the renovation. However, I found the chairs and tables rather uncomfortable – to me, it looks nicer than it is practical. All in all, it was a rather mediocre experience for us, hence two stars.

Very crowded, I asked about vegan options, but unfortunately wasn't entirely convinced that I received them. The sweet potato fries were rather soggy. Nevertheless, a very nice atmosphere.

The new design is really beautiful, although I already thought the previous one was excellent. However, the new chairs are extremely uncomfortable because the armrests are much too high, either constricting your shoulders or causing extreme tension. The wicker seat isn't exactly comfortable either, even though it fits well with the overall design; this could definitely be improved. The service was very friendly, but we had to wait a very long time before someone came to seat us, and just as long before our drink orders were even taken. A definite plus, though, was that we received two complimentary appetizers, and the aioli still tastes as incredibly good as ever. As for the menu, I expected more changes, but it's pretty much the same. The cheeseburger was still good, but the bun was somehow very soggy and not nicely toasted like before, resembling an untoasted piece of bread more than a burger bun. And it was generally very heavy on the mustard. ... It was also a real shame that the food wasn't served at the same time. We had to wait about 15 minutes between the first and last main course, so we couldn't all start eating together. I suspect the kitchen team needs to work on improving their efficiency, as does the service team, to ensure faster service. Overall, though, it was quite good again, and the service was very friendly. The double complimentary appetizer from the kitchen raised my rating to 4 stars.

We arrived with 14 people and were served very friendly and, above all, extremely quickly. The food is also highly recommended. Big praise goes to the friendly staff and the excellent service/cuisine. However, reservations are recommended!

I used to love going to Grill & Chill. But since the reopening, not only has the food changed, but the service has too. The ambiance is quite nice, but the service is sometimes very stressed, and the food is occasionally cold by the time it arrives. Furthermore, the menu isn't as interesting anymore. It's a shame; you really need to make some changes.

We stopped here for a nightcap... The service was fantastic and the desserts and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is even better after the renovation.

Eating small portions is simply bad and overpriced!

We were very curious about the new atmosphere. The lighting is far too bright and uncomfortable, the chairs are pretty but not pleasant. The burger was cold and undercooked. We used to come here often and enjoyed it, but unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed on today's visit. The drinks were very good and generous, and the value for money was good, as was the service, and the staff wasn't too pushy.

We went to the new Grill and Chill with the family today and were very disappointed. The food was cold, the burgers didn't taste good anymore, and a glass on the table was cracked. The worst part, however, was that my two-year-old niece wanted to eat her coleslaw and pulled a rubber band out of it – luckily, she didn't swallow it. The server was really lovely and couldn't be held responsible at all – she reacted very kindly. Nevertheless, the visit was very disappointing overall. We used to love coming here and were always satisfied, but this time nothing was right. It's a shame – we probably won't be coming back.

We were at Grill and Chill today with 6 people. The food was ok but the burgers were too dry and the sauce was too liquid. The atmosphere was beautiful and the kerenelin was very lethargic.

The term "overcrowded kindergarten" would be more appropriate here. Lots of screaming and tumbling children. The mothers present don't care how their children behave, and the staff accepts it all without a word.

We were thrilled with the newly reopened Grill and Chill! We immediately felt at home upon arrival. The service on the first floor was extremely attentive and friendly – ​​making you feel completely welcome as a guest. The kids' area is really nice – lovingly designed and perfect for the little ones to have fun too. We also particularly liked the new lamp decor, which gives the restaurant a modern atmosphere. Wow! We had dinner at Grill'n Chill. The restaurant is beautiful, truly cozy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, the food was incredibly delicious, and the cocktails were also fantastic.

My son said, "Mommy and Daddy have found a car and we need to go to Augsburg." No sooner said than done. Car shopping is a different story, but we met the salesman Harun here. We were hungry and he said there was something delicious a few hundred meters ahead. Thanks, Harun, it was delicious. Parking was easy since we arrived with two vehicles and were early. As soon as we got inside, we were warmly greeted. The gentleman looked at his watch and asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but we got a table anyway. Very nice. The lady who served us was also very nice and very helpful, as my wife is allergic to garlic. She made so much effort, and the food was also great. That was a few months ago. If Maps says "open," I assume it's normal business. I drove a half-hour detour to meet up here for breakfast – only to discover that it's a construction site and only a food truck is set up, and I can hear that they also serve delicious rolls. ...were there while passing through, super attentive service (practically perfect). Sure, it was really busy, so we took our time and grabbed our first drink. The food...I had the simple burger...amazing. The next time we're passing through, we'll be heading to this location...highly recommended.

The ambiance here is really nice. I'd also like to highlight the cool and delicious drinks. They're something different than the usual Coke, Fanta, Sprite, etc. (although they do have those, of course). What really disappointed us was the extremely unfriendly service. It took 15 minutes just for us to finally order drinks. When she came back with five drinks instead of the four we ordered (there were only four of us), and instead of admitting that she had made a mistake with the order, we were very rudely told that she only had five drinks and that we had ordered them that way. Then came the food, which was very good in itself, but it didn't fit at all. Instead of a large burger, we got a small one, but the tomatoes we had ordered were still on it. Instead of rosemary potatoes, we got a baked potato, and the sauces were completely missing. Furthermore, the rosemary potatoes were cold when they arrived. Mistakes can happen to anyone. But with each of our four dishes, something was off or missing. That simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant like this! It should also be emphasized that the sweet potato fries and regular fries were already sold out by 7 p.m. I also find that unacceptable for a restaurant like this, especially when you had reserved the table days in advance. Even for our second drinks, we had to alert the waiter that we were all out of drinks and would like to order something else. Even though the food was absolutely delicious, we can unfortunately only recommend Grill'n Chill with reservations.

This was our third visit to Grill & Chill, but unfortunately, it will also be our last. The food was good as always, but the service left a lot to be desired. The waitresses seemed disorganized, unmotivated, and unfortunately unfriendly. It felt like no one really wanted to do their job. A real shame. FOOD GREAT SERVICE TERRIBLE

Food was ok but not the best price-performance ratio 6/10 otherwise everything was very clean, well maintained, friendly staff, good transport links, and the lemonades were in very small glasses

A perfect place to chill and enjoy!

The chicken burger didn't taste good, just like pre-made sauce. The fries weren't anything special either. The counter, like the entire restaurant, was pretty dirty, so the atmosphere wasn't pleasant. That was my last visit.

As a regular at this location, I have to offer some praise. I, or rather, we, always receive excellent service here. This team is so well-coordinated and so friendly that you feel completely at home. The bakery team, from Mr. Messerschmitt and Mr. Kurzmann to Noah (trainee, sorry, last name unknown), is top-notch, even under stress. The evening shift in the restaurant is simply warm, with service from Ms. Opeldus, Mr. Rassol, Mr. Tannhoff, Ms. Wilhelm, as well as Vanessa and Farodin (sorry, last names unknown). Top compliments to the kitchen, also a great team. Unfortunately, I don't have any names, but there's a super friendly chef who prepares the food exactly the way you, as a customer, want it. I have to honestly say this is one of the best restaurants I've been to. It's beautiful to look at and has a great atmosphere, but the service, the waitress I had on Sunday evening, was very unfriendly and really didn't care about her job. The cutlery and the serving staff practically smashed onto the table and were served in a tone that you can't afford in this business. Despite everything, the evening was very nice and the food was very good, as were the drinks, which were excellent and really almost unbeatable. The only criticism was the service, otherwise excellent 10/10✨

The concept of a restaurant where you order at your table doesn't seem to be working very well here yet. We didn't have to wait long for our food, but no one came to clear the table or pay for over half an hour. It's a shame; I prefer ordering at the counter and getting a table alert.

The food quality is average, and the prices are reasonable for that. Yesterday at lunchtime, I was standing at the counter for sandwiches, etc....there was a line in front of and behind me. When it was my turn, however, the waitress (a long-time employee) felt it was more important to clear or rearrange the almost empty counter than to serve customers, and that at lunchtime, when time is at a premium! No words!!! I have nothing but praise for the small Ballestshofer in Westheim! Always friendly and accommodating!

It is not a place to sit for a long time but in that short time, the atmosphere makes you happy apart from the food. Friendly staff, delicious food, reasonable prices and atmosphere You should stop by here :)
