First of all, the ambience. The restaurant looks excellent. Everything works together very well and harmoniously. It could just be a little brighter in the restaurant. Seemed very dark to me. The service was super friendly, attentive and helpful. There's nothing to complain about here. The steaks were outstanding! I have been to many steak restaurants and regularly have steaks on the grill myself. So I can probably judge it quite well. I have rarely eaten so well in a restaurant. An absolute recommendation!

Best steakhouse in NRW, if you have something to complain about here, you should just go somewhere else. Ambiance, quality, staff. Everything fits here.

The Steakhouse Freudenberg is an excellent address for lovers of high-quality meat and fresh side dishes. Particularly noteworthy is the diverse and well-stocked salad bar, which always offers fresh and crunchy ingredients. The steaks are grilled to perfection, juicy and of the best quality - exactly how you want them. The service is friendly, attentive and creates a pleasant atmosphere. A small point of improvement would be the room temperature in winter, as it could sometimes be a little warmer. Overall, a great restaurant with very good cuisine and an all-round successful culinary experience. We'd love to come back!

We were visiting this restaurant and the two of us had a €170 bill with 4 drinks, 1 starter and 2 400g pieces of steak with side dishes. The restaurant itself isn't that bad. The starter was very good and the salad buffet was okay, unfortunately some ingredients had not been refilled. From the starter to the main course we had to wait quite a long time - around 1h 15m. We were pretty annoyed by it. (It's completely normal that you have to wait 30 minutes) At some point a waiter came up to us and told us that they had given our food to the wrong table and that they were preparing our dishes again. After this message it took another 30-40 minutes. Mind you, the kitchen wasn't really busy that evening since we didn't have a table until 7 p.m. Where we got our food, one of the steaks was served on a hot cast iron pan and the other on a cold plate...because it was so hot, it was pretty burnt on the outside. We had one steak which was ordered medium but was served very rare and the other was ordered medium rare but unfortunately the outside was very burnt. (But the meat was of good quality) About the side dishes The sweet potato fries were similar to pretzel sticks because they were almost cold and very thin and had been cooked a little too long. The corn cobs 2pcs. One was edible, the other was unfortunately very burnt and for the gratinated green asparagus (maybe there were 6 spears) 7€ is pretty steep... So basically we could have saved ourselves the whole thing and eaten at a chip shop. But hey at least there was a schnapps on the house :/ but you could have saved yourself that We won't come back again, it was a very disappointing meal.

Reception and service very friendly and friendly. Also very attentive. We ordered steaks for 10 people in different thicknesses and cooking options (medium and medium rare). All the food came at the same time and was cooked to perfection. Delicious. If I wanted to improve something: instead of mayo packets, maybe a homemade mayonnaise in bowls. Then underlines the quality impression of the food. Price-performance fits.

Today we went to the Freudenberg Restaurant for the first time in a long time. We liked it very much. Ambiance A1! Service 1A! Food 1A! We will be visiting more often now.

We ended up at the Grillhouse Freudenberg quite by chance while we were passing through and were given a very friendly welcome and had a really good meal.

Were there at Christmas. The restaurant was very busy. Food was also very tasty. Ambiance was nice too. Unfortunately, I only have to criticize the service strongly. Yes, there was a lot to do, but you can't reserve a table at 4 p.m. and only get the menu at 4:45 p.m. We also waited 10 minutes for drinks. A second round of drinks was not even asked. Only when we asked if we could get something to drink was an order taken, and we had to wait another 10 minutes. After we were able to order our food, where we waited for almost an hour (while other guests who arrived much later had already had their food), the wrong food was brought and half of it was forgotten. And because you know what happens to the food when it goes back, you ate it anyway. It doesn't have to be thrown away. (The food was still very tasty) .... When you wanted to pay, you had to wait another 15 minutes for the bill..... Conclusion: Ambiance: Good Food: Very good Service: unfortunately only sufficient p.s Maybe the mass of people was too much to accommodate everyone. There will still be a second chance and I will then be proven wrong

We were just at Grillhouse Freudenberg. My girlfriend had three different steaks weighing 100 grams each in one dish together with a baked potato, I had a burger with onions and wedge potatoes. The dishes were really GREAT. Unfortunately, my friend got a piece of meat stuck in her throat while she was eating and was unable to continue eating. She was very disappointed that she had to leave the rest of the food. The court really liked her. We declined the offer to pack up what we hadn't eaten and take it with us because the dish doesn't taste nearly as warmed up as it does freshly prepared in the restaurant. - The service was also very good. We also liked the ambience. It was full, but there was still plenty of space and privacy. We will definitely come back!!!!

We ordered food for 64€ for 2 people on Christmas Day. I have to say it tastes better from a chip shop. My pork fillet was so hard and fried that I could barely get through it with a knife. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Will never go there again or get anything. Everything ended up in the trash can, unfortunately, but it was inedible.

We were there for the first time yesterday. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty. We had Wiener Schnitzel and a skewer. We really liked the atmosphere. We have Sat comfortably by the fireplace and were definitely not there for the last time. Many thanks to the team for a great day!

There is nothing wrong with the food. The one star deduction is because of the cold plates. This meant that the food was cold towards the end. I would like to enjoy my food in peace and not have to wolf it down because otherwise it would get cold. When it comes to the ambience, I may be going too extreme with just one star. However, if almost the entire restaurant smells strongly of cigarette smoke, this is usually a reason for me to leave in times of non-smoking protection. The very friendly waiter tried to attribute the intense nicotine smell to the burning fireplace, but burnt wood definitely smells different than burnt tobacco. I will definitely come here again soon (because of the otherwise very good food) and hope that the nicotine smell was an isolated incident. Then I will definitely update this review too.

We were there on Sunday December 8th. With 5 people there. We were greeted very friendly and after a short conversation we were assigned a table (we had a reservation). We walked past the fireplace to our table. This was in a quiet corner. There was soft music playing in the background so you could have a good conversation. The furniture was well padded. You could sit comfortably. After a short moment we were handed the menu and our requests for drinks were taken. The waiter was very patient with us because we took a little longer to choose the dishes. He briefly left the table again to give us space for consultation and exchange of opinions. After a short time, about 5 minutes, he came back and asked us again in a friendly manner. As a greeting from the kitchen, soup was served in advance. The food came about half an hour after we ordered. All the food was brought together so no one had to wait. The staff is extremely attentive. When it was noticed that my drink was empty, I was asked politely and not intrusively if they could bring me the same thing again. During the meal we were asked very politely and reservedly whether everyone was happy and whether we liked it. After the meal we were offered coffee and desserts. However, since we were full, we politely declined and ordered the bill. Which came immediately. All in all, a very satisfactory visit. So I can only recommend this restaurant.

Excited once again. Great meat, cooked to perfection. I had Surf&Turf with salmon fillet, prawns and a piece of beef fillet. They do such an excellent job with the meat here, it really blows me away (for the second time now). I was told about the lava grill. Price absolutely reasonable, nice atmosphere, friendly service. Good acoustics, nice ambience, even a closed fireplace. When the outside temperature is 6 degrees, it's simply a cozy highlight. I feel comfortable here. 😊

9/8/24: Unfortunately, the prices on the homepage are still lower than in the restaurant. On August 23rd For example, the West Spire cost 29.50, Jack's Creek 36.90. Great meat quality. Soup and salad from the buffet are always included. With a bit of luck, the fireplace will also be lit.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend today. We hadn't reserved a table, but we were greeted in a friendly and polite manner. We were even allowed to choose the place. With the drinks we went back and then we were immediately given the menu. I ordered a 300gr. Fillet with fried potatoes and fried onions. My friend ordered the rack of lamb with the accompanying side dishes, spinach and roasted potatoes. Both dishes were prepared to perfection, the fillet was very tender, and my friend's rack of lamb was also very tasty, there is nothing to complain about. Since this is a review, I unfortunately have to add that the waiter forgot the fried onions when I ordered. When I commented on this, he politely apologized and offered to serve some straight away, of course that can happen and it wasn't a big deal. All in all, it is a very well-equipped restaurant to feel comfortable. There's a great atmosphere, we'll definitely go again and it definitely gets my recommendation. Super delicious food and friendly, courteous staff. We have the U.S. Tamahawk steak shared between two people. It was prepared to perfection. In terms of taste, a 10 out of 10. The side dishes as well as the salad buffet and the sauces were also completely convincing.

Really great food and ambience. As someone who really likes meat, especially steaks, I was pleasantly surprised by the same. The taste of the meat, cooked as I asked, and the serving is at a high level. The service is friendly and, unlike other steakhouses, very fast, which gives me the reason to give a rating of 10/5. Of course, I would also like to mention the location itself, which enchants with its natural ambience, which I always like more than the city atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

Went there for dinner today. First of all, the price... Anyone who knows a little about the catering industry actually knows that a common calculation is always purchase price x 3. The sales price was then always formed from this. Now energy prices are no longer as cheap as they once were, and meat prices have also risen. The chain runs from the producer to the end product. There are relatively few products on the menu (side dishes, starters excluded) under €20. Why do I rate the food 3*? The salad buffet was ok and definitely usable for a salad. I was missing herbs, a great vinegar, nuts, pine nuts and great products that, in addition to the vegetables, also provide good fats and other textures and tastes in the salad. Overall, the salad actually only tasted like oil. Unfortunately, the small additions such as garlic cream were not present at all. I lacked the courage to spice things up here. Salt and pepper are of course on the table, but unfortunately not garlic. It simply has to be there for some products. The main course was very well portioned and also quite powerful. The turkey steak with spinach and cheese was on point. In my opinion, a little less cheese would have been completely ok. The side dish (wedges) was crispy, fresh and hot.. Felt like it had been fried twice.. You would probably do it that way too. Even though there is of course a salad buffet, the main course was just missing some love.. Something for the eye.. I can get the plate exactly the same at home. So a little garnish... It could be a little more for the price! The quality of the food was overall ok. Unique selling points? Unfortunately none... Anyone who eats here should be prepared for a normal, acceptable price level. The food tastes good, you feel full and the ambience is OK. There's nothing that completely blows your mind, but it's not bad either. When the outdoor area is open, the ambience may even be 5*. So - due to the bad weather - it's 4*. There's nothing you can do about it, but there has to be a little room for improvement! Thanks for the hospitality!

We recently went there for dinner. The price-performance ratio is no longer right. A few weeks ago the prices were still perfectly fine. The schnitzel cost 19.90. Now it has been raised to 29.90. In general, almost everything was raised by at least €7-8. At these prices it won't happen again so quickly. A pity

Grillhouse Freudenberg is a modernly designed steak house with a diverse menu. The bread and herb butter are very tasty. The lamb was on point and the portion was large enough. Unfortunately, the veal schnitzel would be too well done and the fries would be fried too briefly in fat that was too cold. The salad buffet was adequate. I would therefore recommend grilled meat. I think the prices are a bit too expensive, but considering the difficult situation for the catering industry, it is still feasible. We paid €60 for two people with two soft drinks and the dishes described above. The service is nice and reserved.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, modern und gemütlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Preis total fair. Auch das Salatbuffet war gut. Essen kam schnell zum Tisch und als ein Essen zurückgehen musste (Unverträglichkeit bei einer Freundin wegen einer Zutat, die so wohl nicht auf der Karte stand), kam binnen 2 Minuten das gleiche Gericht mit anderer Soße, die für sie verträglich war :) Danke für den schönen Abend!
