Unfortunately, it's not what it was under the previous owners, now it's no different from any other kebab place. We go there because we feel sentimental about the place... And we still do.

We've been going there for over 15 years and always enjoy it. The food is top quality. The price/performance ratio is excellent. The portions are really generous, and the quality is outstanding. In today's world, where everything seems to be getting more expensive and quality is suffering, that's not the case here. The staff has been the same for many years and is always friendly. Typical Greek hospitality is truly valued here. For a light meal, I would recommend the gyros pita to anyone. A 10 out of 10!

I've been eating there every now and then for at least three years. I think it's the best Greek restaurant in the area.

A must-try when I'm in Trittau. Absolutely generous portions. They even have kids' portions.

My favorite fast food place in Trittau, and always worth a stop. Unfortunately, the original, unbeatable value for money is gone, and the prices are at restaurant level. It's a shame, because the quality and service haven't improved either.

We were on our way and stopped at Ellas for a bite to eat. Our visit exceeded our expectations. The gyros are delicious, large portions, high quality, and very friendly service. The restaurant is also exceptionally clean, and the locals were very friendly. Payment is cash only, but luckily the bank with an ATM is literally right next door. For anyone passing through, Ellas is worth the detour.

The lunch menu in the pictures already has generous portions, and the service is friendly. The food is delicious. We'll be coming here more often now.👍

The gyros were quite spicy and crispy, yet not dry. The fries were also good. The currywurst (at the Greek restaurant??) was good, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me, but still within reason.

The prices are as high as those at a steakhouse, which is unacceptable for a snack bar. The portions are OK, but the flavor has deteriorated considerably. I definitely wouldn't recommend this snack bar anymore.

It was better with his dad. But still recommended.

I got a currywurst to go today. The portion itself was generous and okay. Unfortunately, the currywurst wasn't sliced, which made it a bit awkward to eat. Furthermore, the fries were barely seasoned and therefore rather tasteless. It's a shame, as both could have been much better with a little more care. It was also somewhat disappointing that they didn't offer any takeaway drinks, which would have been welcome, especially in warm weather or when on the go.

Everything's perfect! Price, service, portion, ambiance, taste. One of the best Greek snack bars I've discovered between the Baltic Sea and Hamburg. Truly perfect for gyro lovers. The tzatziki is also very well-balanced. Very friendly team. Keep it up! 😉

Bad and expensive, especially if you buy pre-packaged minced meat from the "Gut und preiswert" brand at Edeka. Absolutely not acceptable!

Everything is fine, the opinions are positive, but it didn't suit my taste. The sauce is bland, everything tastes the same.

The prices are almost at the level of a restaurant, quite high for a snack bar, the portions have also become smaller, and the taste has also diminished.

I've always enjoyed coming here. But my last meal was terrible. The gyro wasn't ready yet. Since I didn't have time, I switched to souvlaki. It was so overcooked and bone dry, I've never experienced anything like it here before. The fries, on the other hand, weren't cooked all the way through; everything was just a little lackluster. I was simply disappointed, but the food went straight into the trash. It was truly inedible. Just dry, tasteless, and overcooked. I won't be coming back for a while. The food is too expensive for that. What a shame. It would be nice if that changed.

The liver was overcooked and there was way too much rice. The portion of gyros was large, but not crispy; it was carelessly sliced. The highlight was the mineral water. It was served in a glass (almost still), 0.2 liters for 3 euros. It was cheap mineral water from a 1.5-liter plastic bottle. They've never heard of the nationwide mineral water regulations.

Stopped here again as part of a bike tour from Bargteheide and, as always, thrilled with the friendliness and the food. A great goal.😋👍👍👍

Very tasty, top service and nice atmosphere. The portions are really big. Great price-performance ratio. Reasonable prices for the portions. Top. Any time. Were there again today. Just as delicious as last year. And the portions were just as big. The Metaxa sauce tasted just as good. 👍👍 Definitely coming back next year😉😉😉

I was completely thrilled! The food was not only incredibly tasty, but also served in really large portions - you'll definitely fill yourself up here. The prices are absolutely fair and the price-performance ratio is simply right. I would particularly like to highlight the staff: consistently friendly, attentive and very accommodating. I would love to come back and can only recommend the store!

I can't remember ever eating such a delicious gyro in my long life. The children's plate was hardly manageable for me. The tzatziki was delicious, not too garlicky. The fries look hand-carved and fried to perfection.

Unfortunately, these 3 stars are for the very nice and fast service. And for the free schnapps. Payment only in cash. Plus, the ATM is behind the wall. Unfortunately, the souvlaki are hard, the fries are old, and the tzatziki tastes like natural yogurt seasoned with garlic. I preferred not to touch the salad. I ate everything, only because I had a 33-kilometer hike.

Ellas we love you. I have rarely eaten such a delicious gyro. I used to be a kebab type, but thanks to Ellas I became a gyros type. Super friendly staff, accommodating, warm and friendly. The food is of very good quality and excellent taste, in our opinion. Price performance level, 1A, I wouldn't have a problem paying €1-2 more. The portions are generous but manageable. The only drawback. Card payment is not possible.

We were here on Sunday and were very satisfied. Huge portion. Best price/performance. Very friendly service and everything was very tasty. Nothing more is possible. Definitely worth a visit. Great!! Keep it up. You are doing very well. 👌👍

I eat here every week when I'm in town. Nice service, the lunch menu is good and you can sit under the roof in the winter garden. It's bright and warm there. You can't go wrong coming here.

Very great grill snack! We come here regularly from Hamburg because it is very tasty, the gyro skewers are freshly prepared and not off the shelf and the operators are very friendly. I'm happy to give my money to this family :-) Unreserved recommendation!

Solid gyros temple with a good selection of dishes and decent portions. The price also fits perfectly into the world! I've been coming here for many years when I have to stay overnight near here - I look forward to it every time.

Unfortunately I'm disappointed. The food was always great but today... The rice with Metaxa sauce, the sauce was just a dark red-brown mush. The cheese over the bifteki didn't look appetizing and you had to look for the cheese in the minced meat too. My husband's gyros was dry, that's not how he remembered it. It's a shame, what happened, you were always great otherwise and would you like a recommendation???

Good Greek snack bar with nice seating. Service is top! Starter Tzaziki, unfortunately with very little garlic, rest of the meal (Mykonos plate) good. A little music wouldn't be bad... (speakers are available). Overall a recommendation.

Just a semblance of the former quality

If the frying fat were changed again this century and the limp gyros were offered crispy, the shop would be really good. It's a shame, used oil fries and soggy, warm gyros are a no-go. Go eat in Bad Oldesloe or Ahrensburg and you'll know what Greek food can do.

Wer anständiges Giros kennt würde diesen Laden meiden. Mal Ehrlich...Fleisch schmeckt nach nix. Unter dem Haufen nicht Schmeckenden Pommes wird nur ein bißchen mit Billig Fleisch zugedeckt und dann 15.50.- Für Hundefutter!!! Rausgeschmissen Geld mit hohem bereuungsfaktor!!!! Beim Vorgänger war es der beste Grieche im Umkreis von 100km! Jetzt genau anders herum.

Leckeres Essen, große Portionen und zuvorkommende Bedienung

Für einen Grill-Imbiss wirklich sehr gut. Essen geschmackvoll, reichlich, leckeren Salat vorweg. Da kann sich so manch ein Restaurant eine "Scheibe von abschneiden". Und eine ausgesprochen nette Bedienung! Weiter so!

Große Portion die Vorspeisen platte war sehr reichhaltig Würden wieder kommen.

Essen ging so, Bedienung hatte nicht so recht Lust gehabt

Pita Gyros für 7€ Riesen Portion und sehr lecker Bezahlen ging leider nur drin am Tresen und der Gang zum WC gleicht einem Verließ Aber sauber

Habe selten soviele gleiche Meinungen gesehen! Preis sehr gut! Ich glaube ca. 11 Euro (Gyros) Bedienung zügig und vorallem witzig und locker drauf. Fleisch fettarm ohne Knorpel, leicht knusprig und viel feiner geschnitten als bei den anderen was allerdings absolut positiv ist. Selbst kleine Reste werden eingepackt.. 1 Portion reicht für 2 normale Esser Freu mich auf den nächsten Besuch

Große Auswahl zu fairen Preisen, insbesondere die Mittagskarte (oftmals 10 Euro pro Gericht) hat mir gut gefallen.

1. Das Essen Das Essen schmeckt wirklich richtig lecker und es gibt viele leckeren Auswahlen, das Salat ist frisch, das Fleisch richtig lecker und auch bisschen knusprig, die Soßen schmecken auch richtig lecker am beste schmeckt knobi. 2. Der Service Bei vielen „Restaurants“ muss das Service gut sein und bei Ellas ist es Top, also wirklich richtig nette Mitarbeiter, sie fragen immer ob es ihn geschmeckt hat, haben immer paar Witze damit die Leute sich auch bisschen sozusagen „wohl fühlen“.
