Sehr schöner Biergarten, sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Essen ist auch gut.

Wir sind seit Jahren Gäste in der Taverne Rhodos, ob privat oder im Rahmen des Sports, den wir auf dem Sportgelände des TB Oppau ausüben und fühlen uns schon von Anfang an sehr wohl und willkommen. Super Essen, super Service, der schon beim kommen weiß welches Getränk man normalerweise trinkt und einfach herzlich von den Menschen und vom Ambiente her. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne hierher und sitzen meist bis zum Schluss, wo es immer einen Ouzo oder Espresso (oder sogar manchmal beides) aufs Haus gibt.

Freundlicher Service, im Umgang mit glutenfrei nicht so erfahren, aber nach Erklärungen wurde alles ideal gemacht. Keine Kontamination. Gute Portionen, schönes ruhiges Ambiente und leckeres Essen. Immer wieder.

Waren heute das 2. Mal da und wieder war das Essen sehr, sehr lecker. Der Biergarten ist richtig gemütlich. Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Kommen gerne wieder. Es gibt noch viele Gerichte zum probieren.

Jedes Mal super Service und leckeres griechisches Essen. Wir gehen hier sehr gerne essen. Besonders im Sommer auf der Terrasse ist es richtig schön. Preislich passt es ebenfalls. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Leider haben wir kein Foto gemacht. Was wir sehr bereuen, wollten aber mal ohne Handy sein. Die nette junge Bedienung empfang uns wirklich sehr freundlich. Das Essen (Peperonispiess, Metaxa-Platte und Gyros-Teller) ließ keine Wünsche offen. Schorle und griechischer Wein zu günstigen Preisen. Und Nachtisch einfach ein Traum - durften wir mitnehmen. Sehr gutes Angebot und Essen . Die Service -Mitarbeiterinnen sehr nett und zuverlässig und auch zuvorkommend. Die Portion an Essen so wie Vorspeisen sehr groß . Also Preis -Leistung passt . Das Essen geschmacklich ist TOP .Das Der Chef ist auch sehr nett und kommt auch gerne mal vor und quatscht mit seinen Gästen . Den leckeren Espresso oder Ouzo oder Bailey gibt es am Ende immer . Aufjedenfall ein Besuch wert .

Wir waren heute im griechischen Restaurant essen und es war wirklich großartig. Das Essen kam schnell, war heiß, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich top – besonders die Fleischgerichte und der Tzatziki waren richtig lecker. Die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Ein riesiges Lob an Filiz: Sie war heute super freundlich, aufmerksam und immer mit einem Lächeln unterwegs. Man hat gemerkt, dass ihr der Job Spaß macht, und genau das macht den Besuch noch angenehmer. Kurz gesagt: Heute ein richtig schöner Abend gewesen – tolles Essen, toller Service, wir kommen definitiv wieder!

I was there for dinner on December 6th, 2025, St. Nicholas Day. Despite being very busy and having many tables full, the service was impeccable and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone ordered a different dish, and everything was fantastic. The desserts were also really delicious and moist. I would definitely come again and highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic restaurant! Friendly, child-friendly, and very welcoming staff. The food was ready quickly and delicious. The children even received sweets and a little something to eat after their meal. :) I would definitely come back again with the kids. The restrooms and the restaurant itself were very hygienic.

We always enjoy going there. There's nothing to complain about. The food and service are all excellent.

I ordered gyros and a kebab with fries and salad for pickup. The fries and salad were unseasoned, and the gyros wasn't crispy at all; quite the opposite, in fact—there was grease pooling in the tray where the gyros had been sitting. For the price, I've decided I won't be ordering again anytime soon. It's a shame, I've always been satisfied! I hope this gets read.

Unfortunately, only 2 stars for the tasteless, sometimes lukewarm food. The salad plate consists of a few grated carrots, a bit of coleslaw, and a leaf salad with a seasonless dressing. Pepperoni with garlic sauce, but the garlic flavor was missing. The meat on the Athena plate all tasted the same and bland. No different seasonings for the different meats. The tzatziki also lacked garlic flavor. The fries were crunchy. Too bad, that wasn't good!

We visited the Rhodes Taverna following an invitation. We sat outside in very warm temperatures. At first, the service was a bit slow, but that calmed down 😊 I didn't like the side salad at all, and there's still plenty of room for improvement. The salmon was a bit over-grilled 🤷‍♂️ It was nice that after the meal, they offered either an ouzo, Baileys, or espresso. 👍

A good Greek restaurant with solid value for money. The lamb chops, in particular, are highly recommended – excellent taste, generous portions, and a fair price. The service is friendly and attentive, even if it takes a while when the place is full. Last time, there was an issue with a dish, but it was resolved very professionally and accommodatingly. The interior is quite nice, but the outdoor seating is really nice – covered, with a cocktail bar and a good selection. Definitely a highlight in the summer.

The meal took a little longer but tasted good (the Metaxa sauce is very good). The staff is friendly and for a Greek restaurant it was fairly inexpensive. It wasn't the last time we were here.

Wir feierten einen runden Geburtstag mit 30 Personen . Alle waren begeistert von dem leckeren Essen . Es gab mehr als genug Auswahl . Wir hatten Platten mit Vor und Hauptspeisen bestellt . Die Bedienung war hervorragend und sehr freundlich . Die Besitzer sind sehr flexibel und waren sehr entgegenkommend . Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmals eine Feier dort veranstalten .

We have eaten here very often. I love the lamb fillet with garlic sauce - for me it's one of my top 2 favorite Greek dishes. In contrast to many other Greeks, price/performance is really good here. Service is nice and familiar. If there are larger companies there may be waiting times, but where is this not the case? In summer it's nice to sit outside on the terrace. The only disadvantage: I almost got shot down from the sports field next door, maybe there is still room for improvement because I wasn't as relaxed anymore :-)

Super tasty and gladly again! We ordered food to pick up here with several colleagues. The food was ready on time and the large order was complete, despite special requests. From the gyros in Metaxa sauce to the cordon bleu, everyone tasted great 👍

Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant. We waited over 3 hours for our food, then the loin and lamb was overcooked and burnt. The food for the children came after a good hour. There were 2 hours between the starter and our main meal. When the guests at neighboring tables arrived much later, they also received their food much earlier, sorry, I don't understand anymore... we were there for the first and definitely the last time

All that was missing was the Sirtaki 😍 We were 😄 thrilled. It was very crowded, but we still had the feeling that we were all sitting together in a large living room. It was cozy. The owners and employees were certainly under a lot of stress, but we as guests never had an unpleasant feeling. The food tasted very good and despite two big celebrations we didn't have to wait long for our food - it was a great evening with a good mood We had a lot of fun with you and would love to come back 😊

We were there with our children and even though it was busy, our food was served to us very quickly. Very friendly staff who are keen to make the customer happy and very understanding that the children were hungry. For the price-performance ratio, portions are really enough to fill you up and to take leftovers with you.

We were last there 3 years ago, the food and the service were very poor. Probably a new chef there, the service was still there. We just wanted to know again. But, the new waitress Filiz, we know from another restaurant in Oppau and I have to say we were warmly welcomed and treated very well throughout the evening, such a lovely, courteous person. The food was perfect, had 6 different dishes, the menu had apparently been changed, the children felt comfortable. Everything was perfect. The 5 of us just had dinner there. Even though it was very busy, we didn't have to wait exceptionally long. The food was again very good and plentiful. The service was good as usual, Filiz in particular was very warm and friendly towards us.
