Salad and food were very good - but the friendliness of the service staff could be improved...

After I received the message that card payment was not possible, I was initially very disappointed. I then got cash. I then said to the waiter that I had to anchor this on the internet (no card payment possible) and he became very rude and more or less disgusting. He really threw the money out at me on the table. Because he didn't get a tip.

Had a delicious meal yesterday. The service is friendly and quick. The food was super tasty. We'll be back.

We had a reservation for 5:30 p.m. The restaurant opened at 5:35 p.m. and the owner was immediately in a bad mood. There were already two couples at the door. The owner and waiter had no interest in giving his guests a nice evening but was rather annoyed that guests were there. The welcome Uozo was the cheapest from the bottom shelf. The salad for dinner was ready from the bucket. (taste) The main course, which consisted of meat and a side dish, was not special. Every housewife or man could have done this much better. We were there with a voucher book. However, we were not informed in advance that only CASH PAYMENT was possible when using it. All in all, 2 stars are the highest you can give. Maybe we'll come back in a year. Until then, a lot of room for improvement for more stars.

We have been to this restaurant several times. Were actually satisfied. On our last visit, everything that could be wrong and unfriendly was wrong! We (2 people) sat at a table with a dirty tablecloth spilled on all sides. Waited a long time until someone came to us and at least asked for drinks. When he brought the drinks, he put my glass down so that it spilled. The salad plate was in mini portions and served in cheap plates. Fish platter was ordered for 2, for 45€ (if you want to order it, then it's better to order for 4, because the fish platter is pitifully small). In the middle of the plate was a no longer fresh pineapple 🍍 (probably to take up space), 2 small fish fille, 4 mini octopus, 4 squid, and on the skewers were 6 shrimps, 4 of which had bodies, so 2 shrimp heads also as decoration. Left and right on the plate there are large blobs of tzatziki and some rose sauce. So a plate for 45 euros with a pineapple, 6 shrimps, 2 of them without bodies - that's very cheeky and pathetic. We give 1 star to the waitress who was at our table twice - once to take the order and twice to collect the money, something like coming in and asking if we wanted to drink more or something like that, we didn't have anything okay. So we were very disappointed. To this day I am still traumatized by these shrimp heads without bodies. I've never experienced anything like that anywhere and that's a good thing.

Aufgrund der bislang positiven Bewertungen waren wir heute hier. Der Service war nicht wirklich freundlich. Das Fleisch war sehr trocken. Auf den Hinweis wurde nach dem Zustand der Zähne gefragt. Trotzdem die Gläser leer waren, wurde beim Abräumen der Teller nicht nachgefragt, ob man noch Wünsche hätte.

Very nice restaurant. We were here for the first time with the Schlemmerblock. 2 meals for 1. The service was attentive and friendly. Price/performance fits. Highly recommended.

We visited the Greek taverna and loved it! The choice of food was diverse and impressed with authentic Greek specialties. What particularly stood out was the taste - the meat was super tender and the tzatziki was simply delicious. The value for money is unbeatable and the prices are more than fair. The service was extremely friendly and attentive – kudos to the team! The ambience of the tavern is typically Greek, furnished with loving details. Although it looks a bit old, it contributes to the cozy atmosphere. We can fully recommend this restaurant and are already looking forward to our next visit. Jamas – Efkaristo!

We went to dinner and they didn't tell us that they only accepted cash, they excused themselves because there was a sign on the door when they knew perfectly well that we didn't speak German. You cannot not notify about payment methods especially today that everything is electronic and in a restaurant. Very bad service. I don't recommend it.

Wer gerne einen großen Grillteller mag, ist hier richtig. Mir hat es geschmeckt und als Einzelperson habe ich mich wohl gefühlt. Da es nicht voll war, hatte ich einen schönen Tisch am Fenster. Nette Bedienung.

No, not recommended, the gyros with fries was ok but the number 61 gratinated gyros with Metaxa was terrible, the cheapest meat hidden under the cheapest cheese and no taste whatsoever. The starter salad also had no good dressing and was stale. After eating we no longer wondered why there was so little going on. The condition runs around with AirPods in your ears...

First of all, the quality of the meat is very positive. Compared to many other Greek restaurants, this was my favorite. Unfortunately, that's about it for the positive aspects. The service was nice, but not often at the table. We sat outside and therefore couldn't make eye contact. Everything inside was empty. For starters we wanted to order more bread, for example. Even when we were finished, we had to wait a relatively long time to be able to pay. Unfortunately, it's not possible to tip by card, so I had to scrape together a few coins. Unfortunately, if necessary, there wouldn't have been a tip. The headphones are a bit strange, even if they apparently are for communication with the kitchen. About the food itself: tomato rice was too watery, garlic peppers too weak, salad dressing not to my taste at all, fries limp and tzatziki too bland. Unfortunately, apart from the meat, it was a disappointment. The portion size is also relatively small compared to other Greek restaurants. Unfortunately, I probably won't come again, even though the meat is really great and the atmosphere outside is super relaxing.

We were there with the Schlemmerblock and were warmly welcomed even without a reservation. Thank you for the extremely friendly service. We ordered the lamb grill plate and were very happy with our meal. The restaurant is absolutely recommended; we'd love to come back.

Based on reviews, my feet led me to this place. In response to the owner's friendly reaction, I would like to soften my review here. I think we just didn't have a good day, unfortunately there was no one in the restaurant except for one couple. The decoration and presentation is quite chic so far. The salad didn't suit our taste, it was missing a bit of Greek flair, such as an olive, a piece of feta or the like. I remain of the opinion that Tatsiki reminds me more of quark with cucumber. The meat was very juicy, the rice was a little too aldente for us, and we would have liked the portion to be a little larger. We would have liked the service to be a little more friendly

Everything was very tasty from the starter to the dessert. The welcome was so nice and loving, it's always nice to be greeted like that and it makes you feel very comfortable. The warm starter for 2 people is more than enough and the main course is the Crete plate. The gyros were delicious, crispy and the minced meat was juicy. I can only say positive things about the tzatziki. The homemade dessert galaktoboureko was also like a dream. We'll definitely be back!!! Is worth a visit. The negative comments are hardly understandable. It's best to have your own experience!!

The staff was very friendly and the service overall was very good. The ambience is nice inside, but even better outside in summer, thanks to the new fountain. Authentic Greek experience in Offenburg's old town We received a very friendly welcome and were able to order quickly. The starters and main courses came promptly and were really tasty. Both the fish and the pork fillet souvlaki were extremely tasty. The prices are decent and the service is good.

Pleasantly pleasantly surprised, the food was really okay. Gyros with a nice smoky taste, souvlaki a tad too dry, souzuki on the other hand good and spicy. Fries were ok too. Starter salad was standard. The atmosphere was nice. Grilled pepperoni as a starter, nicely fried with garlic, was OK. We really don't recommend the wine Imiglykos, it really didn't taste good. But you can leave that out. Conclusion: You can't go wrong with a visit.

Typical Greek restaurant. Price normal. Staff friendly and accommodating. If we are in Offenburg again we will definitely stop there again.

So far ok. But the online menu is out of date. In real terms the prices are up to 50% higher. That's not possible, even after the VAT increase. The restaurant was correspondingly empty. Try it with cheap prices and there will be more going on again.

ein sehr schönes, authentisch griechisches Restaurant. Immer wenn ich in Offenburg bin, was ein zweimal im Jahr der Fall ist, komme ich immer hier hin. Man ist immer wieder aufs Neue willkommen, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Karte ist überschaubar und man hat eine gute Auswahl an typisch griechischen Spezialitäten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls akzeptabel. nur das Pita-Knoblauch Brot als Vorspeise war leicht trocken aber der Rest war perfekt

Personeel onvriendelijk, ieder woord was er eentje teveel. Er kon geen extra woordje vanaf. Salade droog, zonder dressing Soep werd zo hard op tafel gezet dat het over de kom ging. Mijn zoontje had er brood bij gevraagd en kreeg drie kleine stukjes stokbrood in een mandje. Geen prik op de cola.

Das Restaurant hat mit dem Essen ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Ambiente ist innen und außen sehr angenehm. Das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Die Gerichte sind geschmacklich gut und reichlich.

Wer auf Retro steht, ist hier eindetuig richtig - hier ist die Zeit in den 80ern stehen geblieben, sowohl bei der Einrichtung als auch beim Essen. Die Karte zeigt sich sehr fleischlastig, paniert und schwer - raffinierte Gerichte der griechischen Küche vermisst man hier völlig - weder ein leckeres Stifado, eine Skordalia oder die köstlichen Ofengerichte (z.B. Giouvetsi, Kolokithakia Avgolemono, Moussaka) sind hier zu finden. Schade. Der Service jedoch höflich und aufmerksam.

La comida está buenísima y bien de precio. Se agradece tener un sitio diferente para comer por la zona con un toque mediterráneo que no sea un restaurante italiano. El personal también muy amable. Merece la pena.

Nicht empfehlenswert. Hatten vorab online reserviert und auch bestätigt bekommen, also hingefahren und an der Türe ein Schild, wegen Urlaub geschlossen.

Wir wurden nach dem wir den Kellner via Augenkontakt gerufen haben schnell bedient. Leider war das Essen nicht so gut. Das Gyros total trocken und das Zasiki war mehr Jogurt. Der Reis hat nach Oncle Benc geschmeckt.

Ein wirklich guter Grieche, Portionen ordentlich groß, Preise dafür ok. Service war aufmerksam, Getränke kamen und schnell und auch das Essen ließ nicht all zu lang auf sich warten Allen hat das Essen geschmeckt, ich hatte z.B. die Spezial-Spieß mit Schweine Filet. Fand diesen auch gut, nur hätte ich etwas anderes bestellt, wenn ich gewuß bzw. es auf der Karte gestanden hätte, dass Peperonie (bzw. irgendwas grünes, eher scharfes) auch mit auf dem Spieß gewesen wäre. Auch die Pommes waren nicht super toll, aber noch ok.

Durchschnittliches griechisches lokal mit schönem Ambiente. Der Service war leider eher schlecht aber auch noch im Rahmen. Portionen etwas zu klein geraten. Insgesamt aber sehr gutes Restaurant👍

Lekker, een gyros-salade gegeten : eenvoudig en goedkoop met goede bediening in rustige omgeving buiten op het terras.

Typische Griekse menukaart met zalige gerechten. We konden buiten zitten en eten. Bediening is vlot. Voor oma waren er senioren porties waardoor ze helemaal happy was.

Die warme Vorspeisen Platte und die Fischplatte waren sehr gut und die Preise waren normal. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und der freundlich.
