After the renovation with a name change, here again for the first time. And it's still wonderful to be here.

The atmosphere is very nice and the food tastes as it should. Price performance ratio is perfect!

Went there for the lunch buffet and for just under €18 per person without drinks there was little choice, 25% of 100% of the evening food buffet selection was available. Dishes are sometimes described incorrectly or it is not clear which type of meat or fish is available. Hair was visible in the salads. The ice chest was used several times by guests and the waiters were instructed several times to clean the ice ball container. (the water is no longer clean) I waited for more than 45 minutes and it wasn't cleaned, an older lady waitress there could only shout at the guests and swear with her hands in her position in front of the customers' eyes. Very unfriendly staff, the young lady almost felt threatened. Another ice cream machine was switched on on site and was not labeled to say that this use was not included in the lunch buffet. An attempt was also made to serve it, whereupon the waitress was personally attacked again with her hands raised: “What are you doing???” The customer felt threatened again and apologized for using the ice cream machine because it was available for use with the “lid open” without any notice that this was not included for lunch guests. A line came on and explained in a raised tone that customers would destroy this machine. A conversation about the need for explanation from the management and the customer could not be held because the management did not recognize the error. (the cream ice cream machine is NOT included in the price for lunch buffet customers)

Unfortunately, I found the food and service worse after the change than before.

It's only the first time I've been there, but definitely not the last time! The selection is huge and the quality is also great.

Huge selection, food quite ok, service very friendly. But the hygiene regarding the brackets is terribly bad. Even the hint that the buffet clips and cutlery need to be washed remains completely ignored with a friendly smile. Once with the dirty rag over it and back into the basket. A reason for me not to come anymore.

I was greeted very nicely and had a free choice of table (Sunday afternoon). The employees were very attentive, friendly and answered questions competently, for example regarding the sauces for the teppanyaki. The selection at the buffet is very good. Visually, sushi looks very good; But I didn't try it because I'm not a fan of it. All the areas I saw seemed very clean and well maintained. I think the price-performance ratio is good. Of course there are also ready-made products (e.g. at the dessert buffet...), but even "picky guests" like me (fresh ingredients if possible, good quality...) will find plenty of choice at the buffet. Very nice atmosphere. The counters with the food are really impressive. The food looks fresh and appetizing. Will be replenished quickly enough. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There are unusual types of meat, lots of fish and seafood, sushi, mussels and of course standard Chinese dishes. There is also life cooking. There are free parking spaces in front of the door. There is also an outdoor terrace.

I enjoyed being there before the renovation. Waited a long time for this and was very disappointed. No drinks menu or cocktails 2 weeks after opening. Glasses and cutlery dirty. Food didn't look particularly fresh either. It's rare that I haven't gone home full from an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant.

We were there on Sunday shortly after 12. Food fresh and very tasty, our service staff very friendly and accommodating. Dessert includes a lot of cake. Only the atmosphere is too European modern for an Asian. But I mean, it's a buffet and not a "typical" Asian restaurant. But you can see relatively well that everything is very clean and well maintained. About the food itself: Large selection, everything very fresh and really very tasty. (Be careful, beef with pepperoni > So pleasantly spicy but the pepperoni are very, very hot :-D) In terms of price I don't think it's cheap BUT it's quite reasonable for what we were offered. 👍👍👍

The staff is super friendly and super on point. I think the ambience is great for the size of the restaurant and the furnishings are modern and really chic. Lots of choice, delicious food and sweets

So it was very good looking and the service was very nice. The food 10/10, lots of choice. For everyone who likes dessert, there is soft ice cream with strawberry sauce and chocolate sauce and a large selection of fruit and cakes/tarts. then the look, the chairs are comfortable and there are benches and it is really beautifully modern furnished. We'd love to come back.

By chance I saw that this restaurant is open again...the decor is very nice But unfortunately the dishes cannot be compared with the previous one. No grill at lunchtime. The selection at the buffet also leaves a lot to be desired 😕 No chocolate sauce for dessert. The pineapple on the skewer was sadly just the core. It's a shame...we had hoped for more

There is a very large selection of ready-made meals and dishes that can be prepared in a wok. There was something for everyone, even if you don't like everything, but tastes are different. We didn't find the sauces in the wok, for example, that good. When it came to curry, I didn't really taste curry and it wasn't really spicy. The meat in the finished dishes was sometimes a bit dry, although more was always added. But overall we were satisfied. There was also a large selection of fresh dishes and desserts. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice

We ate in this restaurant for the first time today. The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was very clean and pleasant. Unfortunately we ended up having to wait over 30 minutes for the bill. When we asked to pay, there was a loud discussion between the service staff in their local language. This seemed rude and uninviting to us as guests. It's a shame - because the positive overall impression was significantly tarnished and at such a price you should be able to expect polite service.

The food was cold and had definitely been in the container for a while. The price of around 33 euros per person is an absolute joke for the cold food you get. The service wasn't good either. People were constantly looking away. Really not recommended. The ambience was very nice but that was the only thing that was nice.

The food and very service were great. The ambience is outstanding. However, I think the price of €29.90 in the evening for a pure all you can eat without drinks is too high. Either the price should be significantly reduced or switched to an all you can drink concept. The latter would be my clear favorite. So I probably won't come back. It's just not worth over €40 per person per evening to me. For example, I drink quite a lot with meals and with 4 cokes I was already at €47. Looking back, the evening wasn't worth nearly €47 to me. Therefore, we only consider all you can drink restaurants. It's a shame, because we love going out for Asian food regularly and this shop with All You Can Drink would definitely have been our favorite and new regular shop!

Rather disappointing Overall the visit was disappointing. The service was very slow, the staff was significantly understaffed (we were there for 2 hours and the waitress was at the table twice). Many dishes were labeled incorrectly or not at all. Cakes came out of the frozen food chest still frozen, and all the dishes were seasoned far too little. The preparation station was overcrowded and you were given ingredients that you hadn't even chosen. Drinks without ice or lemon seemed bland. The decoration was inconsistent and the restaurant was extremely loud and crowded. There is an urgent need for improvement here - neither the atmosphere nor the quality are right at the moment.

The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner or meeting with friends. The menu offers an impressive selection of traditional Asian dishes, all freshly prepared. I tried the sushi and it was simply delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were high quality. The presentation of the food was also very appealing. The service was friendly and attentive. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave us some recommendations which turned out to be excellent. I highly recommend Ruhrstern Restaurant if you are looking for authentic Asian cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

After the renovation, the restaurant looks very modern and stylish, and the overall atmosphere is very inviting. Unfortunately, there are clear weaknesses in the service area: the staff is severely understaffed and seems overwhelmed in places. Some drinks were forgotten and despite repeated requests we sometimes had to wait up to 40 minutes for our orders. Unfortunately, the buffet was only about half full on the weekend evening - many dishes were not even refilled. The freshly prepared dishes, such as: B. grilled meat tasted okay, but you have to expect waiting times of over 20 minutes. Another point of criticism: there is only one pair of tongs available for the different types of meat (e.g. beef and chicken) - which is questionable from a hygienic point of view. With more staff and better organization the restaurant would definitely have potential. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a visit at the moment – ​​especially on the weekend.

Really a shame. Before the renovation (then a gourmet temple) it was really great. Now unfortunately a catastrophe. Starting with totally overwhelmed staff (there were 7 of us and the lady, for example, only takes the drinks from 4 and simply disappears), less choice at the buffet than before and a hefty price for the fact that half of the food was empty and wasn't refilled at all. The "endless dessert buffet" is also very little compared to before. Yes, it was a Sunday and it was well attended, but not as crowded as it used to be at peak times. The buffet is now designed in such a way that you almost run over each other on the way there. (Lots of narrow corners) The homepage also says "High chairs are available for children and, best of all, children up to 6 years of age can eat them for free." I was still asked to pay almost €15 for my 5-year-old. When I showed the homepage it said "yes, no, you misunderstood that, if your daughter had sat in a high chair, it would have been free." So I'll just put her in the high chair soon? It just makes you feel like a fool. It was really a disaster. I hope we just had a really bad day. Even though I thought the price for the small one was really bad considering the wording on the homepage. I'll probably give it another chance in a few months, when everything has settled down. But like today - never again... what a shame!!
