Everything is great, just the price performance doesn't fit

Otherwise always satisfied. This time the food was lukewarm and the restaurant itself was uncomfortably cold.

Also very pleasant with children. Only toilets were partly completely wet on the floor and somewhat unhygienic. The service was very good and the selection is very large. The raw things were very tasty during the show cooking/Mongolian BBQ. The seafood in particular is really good and there is also a good selection here with a few exotic (and not just the typically German) standard items. For example, squid, crabs and various mussels. All very tasty. It would be nice if allergens were advertised at the buffet.

Yummy . It's just something where you're too busy anyway. But a large selection. Drinks are included with all you can eat. What more could you want? Here we come again.

Delicious food and lots of choice 🤤

You can eat well there in a group. There are many places. The buffet is generously laid out. You can have various specialties freshly fried on site. The selection of drinks is extensive. The bar also serves alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine and cocktails.

We were there on New Year's Eve, great value for money, again at any time!

Since we were in Bayreuth anyway and it was dinner time, we decided to eat here. Generously designed dining areas and self-service counters increased the anticipation of a cozy culinary evening. The food is good and varied, large selection of hot and cold dishes... This makes eating fun. Actually, it was just the time that ensured we didn't stay too long. We will definitely go here again. It was really not good. Worst Asian restaurant we've ever had. Rice and noodles were far dry and had no taste. The duck meat was also partly very tough and dry. Buffet also costs over 30 euros per person. Drinks are included, but it's still a lot of money. However, the service is top, they always make sure the food is delivered. However, the ambience wasn't really good either. It's way too crowded, too loud and somehow too big and everything is confusing. It's a shame!

It was a huge rush today. We reserved and the place we were assigned was very drafty and cold. At the Mongolian buffet I prepared a plate of fish. I received my plate with meat as a vegetarian and I don't think it's good. For sushi, if it were labeled where meat is included it would be great Will I go there again???

I'm now proceeding in a crown-logical manner, I think it's best in this case! There are enough parking spaces, you get a very friendly welcome, you got there very quickly at the registration desk despite there being a lot of groups, and we were shown several tables to choose from! The food at the buffet was always freshly replenished, there is a lot to choose from, whether it's starters, main courses or desserts! Personally, I think it's more than okay that an additional €5 is now charged for every plate that isn't eaten, because this means that significantly less food is thrown away! The price of €31.90 (we were there in the evening) for the buffet including drinks is definitely more than fair for what is on offer there! A colleague answers the phone who cannot speak German clearly and gives us a reservation for 3:30 p.m. We drove there for an hour and they were closed and we called again and were told they were on break and wouldn't open again until 5:30 p.m.

Reservation was not recorded correctly over the phone and then handled rudely.

We had made a special reservation for New Year's Eve, but the reservation could not be found and no solution or alternative was found. Were very unfriendly and incompetent

We've been going there for 10 years now, but I have to say it's not worth the money anymore!!! The quality of the food is getting worse and now it wasn't hot anymore. When the service staff were asked about it, of course no one felt responsible for it. If it continues and you don't respond to the guests, there probably won't be many more.

At the birthday party, birthday songs were played and the birthday boy was given a small cake and candles. Unfortunately, we did not inform us in advance when we made the reservation, so we could only share the joy of celebrating others' birthdays.

If you're hungry and enjoy the whole variety of dishes, the price/performance is great! Accordingly, it was very crowded, especially on weekends, and despite having a reservation, it was very chaotic at the entrance. I suspect everyone will be given the same time, so there will be mass processing.

The food is good in itself, I would have hoped for more selection of sushi plus different sauces e.g. Sriracha mayo, something like that is also offered at other buffets. It was very crowded and therefore extremely loud. If you want to have various things grilled, you have to expect a waiting time (if it's busy). You're welcome to eat here, but it's not a must.

Good to go out to eat. Also very tasty, but what's not so good is that a child costs the same amount of money as an adult has to pay. That should be changed because that is very exaggerated otherwise it was good.

On our last visit the food wasn't really good. It was pretty much better. €30.90 for the buffet is not customer friendly

Enchanting ambience. This place is a must for anyone who wants to fill their stomach with a variety of dishes. There is everything from sushi to fish to grilled steaks to chicken nuggies, duck and fried vegetables. A must when you are there is the chocolate fountain!

The large room is largely divided up, making the ambience too impersonal. Cleanliness is completely fine. Empty glasses are rarely cleared away. Since I can unfortunately only speak about the lunch buffet, the price-performance ratio is good. The food tastes good and is refilled promptly. The selection of non-alcoholic drinks is also sufficient. It's always nice to be a guest there.

Top Restaurant, more often, more often Top Restaurant deserves five stars for its excellent service, cleanliness, and varied, good food. I highly recommend visiting it.

The venue and food are great. Everything on the menu is delicious. Thanks to this place, my thoughts about Chinese people changed. The duck is so bad, you should definitely eat it. You can eat anything with your eyes closed.

We came for a birthday, unfortunately there are no discounts, large selection of food, drinks and desserts. Slightly more expensive on weekends than on weekdays.

Basically we are regulars. The selection is really extensive, the food is warm and usually tastes very good. Sometimes, however, the sauces don't taste the way you normally would, and I have no idea why that is. Various drinks are included in the price, depending on the time of day. Always non-alcoholic, in the evening there is also beer, for example. The gourmet temple is huge, you can almost always get a place if there is a huge celebration going on. There are individual areas that are well separated, so the size is not noticeable. The service staff is quick, the plates are gone when you come back from the buffet. You can have something freshly prepared in the evenings during the week (also at lunchtime on weekends). This usually happens very quickly, but something ends up on your plate that you didn't put on it before, champions for example. All in all, the Gourmet Temple is worth a visit, the big highlight is the chocolate fountain.

I was curious to go to this restaurant however I didn't love it. The food is not of the best quality. I think it's a matter of taste, I prefer to pay for a dish and have the food be very good than to be able to eat everything I want but it's not as good. If what you want is to go choke on anything, this is for you.

Absolutely bottomless. Give the information on the phone that you should just come by without a reservation and then let people wait in line for half an hour only to be told that you have to keep waiting without a reservation because nothing is currently available. (Immediately opening at 5:30 p.m.) I don't even want to start talking about the friendliness at the checkout.

This evening we visited the Gourmet Temple. So far everything was fine until my friend wanted to put my 4-month-old daughter to sleep. She had a shawl over her head and was at the toilets. There she met an employee who took the scarf from her little head without prior consultation and signaled that she should take the scarf down. I then went to the management to ask what that was about because I found it very invasive since no one is allowed to touch my daughter without agreement, especially not strangers. Everything was then downplayed and since the employee didn't speak German, she just wanted to see what was wrong with the child. She has children herself. Visibly annoyed, everything was played down and supposedly it would be sorted out. Which I don't believe based on the annoyed reaction. When we left and said goodbye, you couldn't even look at us, but our companions were given a friendly farewell. By professional I mean something different. The last visit there for us.

I wonder what kangaroos and zebras did on an Asian buffet, they are not typical animals from there, at most from the zoo. First surprise, payment in advance when entering the restaurant, large, extensive buffet with many variations. Unfortunately there are no big differences in taste. Even though it was very busy, it was always refilled. The ambience was like a cheap hotel with the battle at the buffet. If you're hungry and drive past it's ok, but it's not worth making the extra drive there.

Perfect for simply eating as much as you want! €25 on weekdays and €30 on weekends is completely fine, you really have a lot to choose from A special highlight here is the chocolate fountain!

Simply amazing! We visited the restaurant on 09/08/2024 in the evening and were impressed. Cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and the dishes are simply masterpiece. I was especially impressed by the selection. Everyone will find a dish to their liking. Personally, I really liked the shrimp tempura and desserts♥️♥️♥️ We will definitely be back!

There is a huge selection at the buffet and great all-you-can-eat offers for those who eat a lot. No matter whether cold or warm dishes or sushi or desserts - no wish remains unfulfilled here. There is even a chocolate fountain where you can hold fruit. The service is nice and friendly. The only point of criticism is the volume in the restaurant - it can get a little louder here...

A mega-large buffet with a lot of choice. By paying the flat rate before the meal (drinks included), you don't have to constantly call in staff. The selection is very varied, including sushi, fresh food prepared on the grill and desserts with a chocolate fountain. You can get the drinks yourself. A choice between non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks is offered. There are even coffee machines, juices and cocktails (but you have to pay extra for these). There were 8 of us there. Despite the size and the number of guests, there is enough space. You can have a good time and spend a nice day or evening together.

The restaurant has nothing to do with Chinese or Asian cuisine. There is no food like this anywhere in China. The Chinese would run away screaming 🤣 It's basically a food temple that perfectly suits the eating habits of Germans. Flat rate, buffet, chocolate fountain 😳 Chocolate fountains are typical of Asian cuisine 🤣🤣🤣🤣 “Children eat so that the fuel comes back in” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And that's exactly what the...G...-Temple (to write gourmet would be perverse 🤣) is perfect. Went there for the buffet yesterday at lunchtime and I have to say we weren't impressed at all.... the only thing that can be highlighted is the fast service and the Shushi is, let's say, edible/okay because it's included in the lunch buffet anyway. At first we were a bit surprised that there was already so much going on at 12 p.m. during the week, and almost all the tables in the large hall with the same character were already occupied. The food at the buffet is just mass production. If you don't rely on reasonable quality and taste, you've come to the right place. Some people have so few manners and inhibitions that they eat things right at the buffet, which is simply unbelievable. The food itself tastes very flat, unaromatic and full of MSG (monosodium glutamate) and yes at other Chinese buffets it is not much better but here the quality level is already very low. Especially when it comes to spices and flavors, everything tastes almost the same and although it satisfies your hunger if necessary, it doesn't satisfy your enjoyment. Things don't get any better when it comes to dessert, the fruits were fresh (apple, pineapple) but I would stay away from the chocolate fountain. I don't know what's in there or what ended up in there from the outside and just from the bottom is held back by the intake strainer. Some people just keep everything in there, from pieces of cake to cups, so they can take some of the chocolate sauce with them to their place. In any case, we won't be coming back, there are better buffets in the area if we have to.

I generally enjoy eating there and I really don't have much to complain about the food. If you don't like Asian cuisine, there are also classic dishes such as fries or fried chicken strips. The problem is that I eat here more often and I notice how some of the range is shrinking. For example, there used to be all kinds of juices that are no longer available and the price has of course risen. It's also quite obvious that the staff is shrinking, otherwise the food is good, I'll be back

Can't complain. For the price (especially for the weekday lunch buffet) you probably won't find anything comparable anywhere else. Large selection of dishes, including salads and desserts, drinks also included. Even as a vegetarian you will find enough! Of course, the atmosphere can hardly be compared to a normal restaurant visit, because there are so many guests milling around at any time, but what else would you expect from a buffet of this size.

Me and my better half were impressed with the taste of all the dishes and the dessert. Everything absolutely delicious and delicious. ... not to forget the birthday insert for my son. Great!

Star deduction, due to no disabled places at the door. And because you have to walk up, it is on a large slope. So it is difficult to get there for people with disabilities. The rest of the food is good. You can pay in advance and purchase additional drinks.

The restaurant near the highway exit provides tasty food and a diverse selection of dishes. Drinks are included in the price. Additionally, during promotional hours from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., you can take advantage of a reduced price. I highly recommend it😊

Price-performance is very good.

Very nice staff. We had previously reserved, but forgot to mention that we needed space for our twin stroller. Space was swapped without any problems. Were there for Mother's Day, it was very, very busy. The staff tried very hard to fill everything up and keep it clean. Food was great, big selection, everything was there. There was champagne for the women as a welcome and a rose as a farewell. All in all, a very nice, tasty “excursion” for all of us.

Bulk clearance for €30 per person. Taste disastrous! There were nine of us, including one with gluten intolerance. Despite clarifying that this food would be fried separately in the kitchen, this was not possible at the food service due to a lack of language skills. The older woman at the checkout said it was fine and gave us an extra clip, the young woman at the checkout, who actually had a very good knowledge of German, was rude and had no idea at all. That was the way to say too much behind. Then she told everyone seriously that everything here was gluten-free!!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!! There is a serious lack of expertise here!! I advise anyone with any intolerances to avoid the Gourmet Temple in Bayreuth. We won't go here again in the future.

Buffet very chilled and inexpensive.

The food is okay, the buffet for 30 euros is a great opportunity to try out a lot of exotic things. The service is pleasant and the ambience matches the style, theme and origin of the establishment.

Very large and exciting selection, from sushi to fish and meat, including exotic varieties such as kangaroo, crocodile and zebra. Plus dessert including a chocolate fountain. And drinks are included. The flat rate is absolutely ok. The concept doesn't really focus on service (although it was good) and ambience. At peak times it gets a bit hectic at the counters and nothing works without a reservation. Pretty fun for kids too (chocolate fountain!).

A highlight, the food is excellent, the service is top, but the restaurant is so full that you had to wait in line for a long time everywhere

Delicious food. Despite many visitors, there was no noise and no rush at the buffet. Everything very well organized and clean. That was a year ago. Went there again today. Little choice, food cold and didn't taste good. Therefore now deducting stars. We won't be coming back.

The food (buffet) is really very good and there is something for every taste even if you are not a fan of Asian food. What is not good, however, is the acoustics in the guest rooms. There is clearly room for improvement here and also opportunities to make the stay more pleasant.
