We were last there 7 years ago. Now we felt the need to go back with our friends. It was really great again. Fresh food with a wide selection, as well as drinks and desserts. Friendly staff and everything clean and well-maintained. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

The restaurant is clean, but has more of a cafeteria feel. The food was rather average for this type of restaurant. However, the staff was very friendly. Remember to provide your license plate number for parking.

We were there on a Sunday evening starting at 7 p.m. Our dog was given water immediately and without being asked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, delicious, and always replenished. High ceilings, large restaurant, but decent. A big recommendation!

I don't understand the good reviews. Maybe we just picked the wrong day? We went to the restaurant in the evening, and the items that were empty at the beginning were still not replenished when we left. It's so uncomfortable in this huge hall. The benches were dirty, so I only sat at the very front. The food was okay, but rather mass-produced, nothing special at all. We're very disappointed to have spent so much money on it. A waste of money!

Truly exceptionally delicious food. I especially love the many small desserts; it's always perfect, and the soft ice cream machine is my personal highlight in the evening. The meat and fish for the Mongolian buffet are also very well chilled and fresh. Tables are always cleared very quickly, and the staff are super friendly, paying close attention to cleanliness and even refilling the dishes. The hall-like feel takes a bit of getting used to.

We were a large group. The plates were always cleared away. You could get your own drinks from the refrigerators; there was plenty of choice! The food seemed rather uniform; nothing that made you say, "Oh, that was delicious." But there was a wide selection. I missed the Chinese ambiance, but otherwise it was okay. Oh, and they also have delicious soft ice cream.

Was once again a nice trip to the culinary Middle Kingdom

Oh my gosh... We were there for lunch. The floor was horribly sticky in places, especially around the drink coolers. The decor is poorly done. The priority seems to be cramming in as many people and tables as possible. Some of the food display cases are dangerous or almost falling apart. Please check your appliances. Some open upwards with such force that your fingers could get crushed (for the sushi). The ice chest has seen better days. The food tastes OK, but my husband got an upset stomach.

The buffet was very clean, and the crowd was well-organized. Empty plates were cleared quickly. We enjoyed the food immensely.

The food was fresh and tasty. A big plus from us is that, due to a gastric stenosis, they let me have the buffet at the children's price (€17 all you can eat and drink). Not many restaurants do this.

You sit in a huge, overly brightly lit hall; a gym locker room has more atmosphere. The food tastes mediocre. The fried noodles remind me of rotten meat. Unfortunately, some of the service staff don't speak German or English. I won't be coming back. PS: The drinks selection is excellent.

Hello dear guests and hello dear team. We weren't particularly satisfied with the buffet and the service today (Friday). It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday. The outside seating was taken, and we sat more in the middle. The chairs are very close together here, and it's often difficult to get through. The buffet was very well laid out, not to say very small. Fresh items, in particular, were hard to find. Hardly any salad or side dishes. The same was true of the fruit; unfortunately, there was hardly any choice. Dessert was also very limited. After 7:30 p.m., nothing was refilled. We're not really used to it. Before the renovation, we were very good guests and at least once a week in the restaurant. After the renovation, the service got progressively worse. We paid 31 euros per person. That's a lot of money. But I expect really top-notch service for that.

I don't find the ambiance all that nice, but that's a matter of taste. I find it much worse that it feels like you're in a train station concourse. The noise level there is really stressful and more than just unbearable. You pay €31 for the buffet on weekends. If you're a big eater, I think it's reasonable. Unfortunately, I can't eat that much, and I found it a bit much. Unfortunately, there's no outdoor area either. My conclusion: I'd rather have less choice but be cheaper, more comfortable, and quieter. Next time, my husband and I will definitely go somewhere else.

There were two of us and we ate a normal portion of baked noodles with sweet and sour chicken, a small Coke each and a medium piece of cake: total 62 euros. I didn't let it show but it was amazing. The food was far too spicy, the sauce was sticky, the cake was watery, the atmosphere like a waiting room. Far too bright and unloving. Staff were nice but not a friendly word at the checkout and they were quick to serve us. It's not worth a visit for us anymore.

Ambience: Previous speakers have mentioned a poor ambiance and cafeteria-like feel. I can't confirm that. It's nicely decorated, and each table has enough space. This allows you to eat in peace and chat undisturbed. Food: It's rather average, with some dishes a bit lackluster. Not everything is always hot. Still, recommended for those who like fast Asian food. Service: Very friendly throughout. Nothing to complain about!

Since the change of ownership, it's gotten much better. It's not as hot, and the food tastes fresher. Personally, I give it 5 stars, and the best part is that they serve Fanta Exotic.

The impression was disappointing. The tables and chairs need to be repaired, the path to the restroom... the smell is simply awful. The food selection in every restaurant is now reduced to a minimum, which is understandable so that restaurants can at least somewhat survive financially. But when sushi trays are simply empty on a first-come, first-served basis, it doesn't increase the desire to visit your restaurant again. The only praise I can give you is for the signs reading "Anyone who leaves too many leftovers will be fined." Otherwise, I wouldn't have given it three stars. Our conclusion: We won't be your guests again.

We were there a few times before the renovation and were always satisfied. Of course you shouldn't expect star cuisine at an all you can eat restaurant, but we were pretty disappointed. The selection seems smaller and some types of meat for the grill have been lying around for a while. Unfortunately it was our last time there for the time being.

Well, what can you say... A huge room crammed with basic seating and little attention to detail. You have the feeling of being in a train station. The five meter high ceiling is opulently decorated with various lights to distract from the dreariness below. Only the number on the tables adds a colorful accent here. On one side of the buffet there are ready-made dishes in the typical warming bowls, while the other side is filled with raw ingredients for live cooking. Next to it is a whole wall of refrigerators filled with various self-service drinks. The selection of finished dishes was very clear and lukewarm. Fries and croquettes in a "Gourmet Pallst" simply don't fit. During live cooking, seafood and meat are prepared together, which results in classic cross-contamination. Guys, an allergy sufferer just has to get a shock, an absolute no go. All in all, simple food, service in jogging pants, I don't have to have that again. Price and performance are clearly disproportionate here. Oh and the napkins don't belong in the wardrobe, that's not particularly aesthetic.

We were registered for this Saturday with a table reservation. When we arrived there was a lot of card-handling. When we asked where the problem was, we made a reservation a week in advance, we were told that many people showed up unannounced and that they couldn't be sent away. We could still get a spot next to the front door and in front of the toilet. We then went back and spent a lovely evening in a Hemeran restaurant. The impression of the restaurant is more like a canteen and quite uncomfortable. We can't say anything about the food, and there won't be any more. However, the question arises as to whether people understood what a reservation means. Quantity rather than class is probably more important here. Certainly not for us again.

We (6 people) were there yesterday after the reopening. Well, it was better before. The range of food on offer has become smaller and what's a shame is that there is only one person at the grill (weekend) who was unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. We had to wait for a very long time. I had to wait almost 45 minutes and that was only for a total stay of 2.5 hours and beyond I didn't even get what I had put on the plate and the vegetables were burnt. Prices increased but overall worsened. I don't think we'll come back.

So far I have always been satisfied here and the fact that the drinks are included in the all you can eat price is great! After my last visit last night, I unfortunately had a terrible night with vomiting and diarrhea every 20 minutes. I guess I'll probably never be able to set foot in a Chinese restaurant again. Hygiene is extremely important, especially with raw foods, and it was probably not enough.

There is a very diverse buffet. The meals are delicious. The service was very attentive and courteous. The place is a bit noisy.

We have been here several times and are always thrilled by the extensive food and drink offerings. Although food and drinks are all inclusive, you don't have to miss out on original drinks such as Coca Cola or Fuze tea. I particularly liked the good organization of the tables today on Christmas Day. Despite the full parking lot, the restaurant wasn't overcrowded. We were back today on Christmas Day for the first time since the reopening, and there was hardly any change. The staff was friendly, but the buffet was not inviting. The salad bar was almost empty and the mixed salad with dressing was partially frozen. The sushi bar was also almost empty, the hot buffet was well stocked but some dishes looked out of place. In our opinion, the quality of the food has decreased compared to before. While eating the soup we noticed a hair in the soup, so we told the waitress who promised to pass this on to the kitchen. And said they won't charge for the food return. We then left the restaurant without eating any more. When paying at the checkout we were not offered a discount and were charged the normal amount. We paid around €66 for two people. The man at reception wanted to greet us with a small gift of grape liqueur. We politely declined this.

I was just in the Gourmet Palace and found fly eggs on the zebra meat, and of course I reported it immediately. Of course I didn't want to eat any more and didn't actually want to pay anything, but because she had already filled her plate she obviously didn't want to eat anymore. Should I pay the regular price and because of the 4 plates that my family didn't want to eat anymore. Paying 20€ more on top of the 130€ that I was already paying anyway, so the boss had no insight into whether I had already pointed out the fly eggs on the food. I still had to pay €100 even though I didn't actually want to pay anything more. And all I can say about the entire experience is that I like to go to Asian restaurants often, but something like this has never happened to me before. I'm so traumatized I can't even put it all together in text form. In any case, I'm definitely never going to Gourmet Palast Iserlohn again!!!!!!!🤢🤮

I've never had such poor food quality, really, and I go to Chinese restaurants so often, it's never been that bad, it's really the front runner.

The food is good, the price is noticeably higher than what I would personally spend on a single meal, but it is within reason. Unfortunately, the overly perfumed other guests were really annoying (yes: several). Do you have to overdose on cheap perfume while eating so that the other guests feel queasy? The operator can't do anything about it, but I have to rate it here because it really disrupted the food.

And the self-service when drinking was real great selection and you could get something as you wanted, lots of choice in small bottles so that you can take something different from time to time.... ........were there again on July 10th, 21......really top clean, good food ..and plenty of selection....what I particularly liked was sushi 🍣 The selection has become much larger, great.. ...come again....
