Gourmet Palast in Iserlohn

We were there a few times before the renovation and were always satisfied. Of course you shouldn't expect star cuisine at an all you can eat restaurant, but we were pretty disappointed. The selection seems smaller and some types of meat for the grill have been lying around for a while. Unfortunately, the grilled food that was brought to the table tasted very burnt and like a lot of different sauces, which we definitely didn't put on the plate. Unfortunately it was our last time there for the time being.

We like to be out here every now and then. The food is okay and there is something for everyone. What I think is good: you can take drinks out of the fridge yourself as you wish. It's included in the all you can eat menu. You see it very rarely. Nevertheless, I now find the price to be expensive.

Well, what can you say... A huge room crammed with basic seating and little attention to detail. You have the feeling of being in a train station. The five meter high ceiling is opulently decorated with various lights to distract from the dreariness below. Only the number on the tables adds a colorful accent here. On one side of the buffet there are ready-made dishes in the typical warming bowls, while the other side is filled with raw ingredients for live cooking. Next to it is a whole wall of refrigerators filled with various self-service drinks. The selection of finished dishes was very clear and lukewarm. Fries and croquettes in a "Gourmet Pallst" simply don't fit. During live cooking, seafood and meat are prepared together, which results in classic cross-contamination. Guys, an allergy sufferer just has to get a shock, an absolute no go. All in all, simple food, service in jogging pants, I don't have to have that again. Price and performance are clearly disproportionate here. Oh and the napkins don't belong in the wardrobe, that's not particularly aesthetic.

Food is below average. In addition, you get ripped off when parking through Fairparken if you go out to eat there. All in all 1 star. It's still well-intentioned

We were registered for this Saturday with a table reservation. When we arrived there was a lot of card-handling. When we asked where the problem was, we made a reservation a week in advance, we were told that many people showed up unannounced and that they couldn't be sent away. We could still get a spot next to the front door and in front of the toilet. We then went back and spent a lovely evening in a Hemeran restaurant. The impression of the restaurant is more like a canteen and quite uncomfortable. We can't say anything about the food, and there won't be any more. However, the question arises as to whether people understood what a reservation means. Quantity rather than class is probably more important here. Certainly not for us again.

It's really slowed down. Thought it would be better after the reopening. Food is not edible, meat was salty, duck was fatty, shrimp was fried, like chips. Staff speaks 0 German Certainly no more visits from me. There is far too much tasty competition for that

We (6 people) were there yesterday after the reopening. Well, it was better before. The range of food on offer has become smaller and what's a shame is that there is only one person at the grill (weekend) who was unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. We had to wait for a very long time. I had to wait almost 45 minutes and that was only for a total stay of 2.5 hours and beyond I didn't even get what I had put on the plate and the vegetables were burnt. Prices increased but overall worsened. I don't think we'll come back.

They finally opened again and wow this renovation, the location is perfect, there is enough parking, the food is still great! I'm pleased that Gourmet Palast has reopened after such a long time.

I was there recently with family and friends, the staff was nice and accommodating, there was enough food and everything was very fresh and well seasoned. I can only recommend it!

I was there on December 24th, 24 because unfortunately the food wasn't warm enough and was already cold after 2 minutes. Since they opened it up again, the food no longer tastes the same as before, unfortunately the shrimp tasted like a fried egg and was without sauce etc. And the light it's way way too bright there! The all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant I visited offers an impressive selection of dishes. So far I have always been satisfied here and the fact that the drinks are included in the all you can eat price is great! After my last visit last night, I unfortunately had a terrible night with vomiting and diarrhea every 20 minutes. I guess I'll probably never be able to set foot in a Chinese restaurant again. Hygiene is extremely important, especially with raw foods, and it was probably not enough.

The food is impeccable. Good quality, large selection and something for everyone. Otherwise, due to the buffet offering, it was very restless, loud and uncomfortable. We would still like to come back! :-)

There is a very diverse buffet. The meals are delicious. The service was very attentive and courteous. The place is a bit noisy.

We have been here several times and are always thrilled by the extensive food and drink offerings. Although food and drinks are all inclusive, you don't have to miss out on original drinks such as Coca Cola or Fuze tea. I particularly liked the good organization of the tables today on Christmas Day. Despite the full parking lot, the restaurant wasn't overcrowded. The slightly higher price of 33 euros per person was extremely acceptable and the length of stay of 2.5 hours was acceptable. Many thanks to the team

We were back today on Christmas Day for the first time since the reopening, and there was hardly any change. The staff was friendly, but the buffet was not inviting. The salad bar was almost empty and the mixed salad with dressing was partially frozen. The sushi bar was also almost empty, the hot buffet was well stocked but some dishes looked out of place. In our opinion, the quality of the food has decreased compared to before. While eating the soup we noticed a hair in the soup, so we told the waitress who promised to pass this on to the kitchen. And said they won't charge for the food return. We then left the restaurant without eating any more. When paying at the checkout we were not offered a discount and were charged the normal amount. We paid around €66 for two people. The man at reception wanted to greet us with a small gift of grape liqueur. We politely declined this.

It's nice that you picked it up again, the counter is no longer recognizable after the renovation. The Mongolian buffet offerings were also changed. The service was great, I'll definitely be back.

I was just in the Gourmet Palace and found fly eggs on the zebra meat, and of course I reported it immediately. Of course I didn't want to eat any more and didn't actually want to pay anything, but because she had already filled her plate she obviously didn't want to eat anymore. Should I pay the regular price and because of the 4 plates that my family didn't want to eat anymore. Paying 20€ more on top of the 130€ that I was already paying anyway, so the boss had no insight into whether I had already pointed out the fly eggs on the food. I still had to pay €100 even though I didn't actually want to pay anything more. And all I can say about the entire experience is that I like to go to Asian restaurants often, but something like this has never happened to me before. I'm so traumatized I can't even put it all together in text form. In any case, I'm definitely never going to Gourmet Palast Iserlohn again!!!!!!!🤢🤮

I've never had such poor food quality, really, and I go to Chinese restaurants so often, it's never been that bad, it's really the front runner.

Wonder how the good reviews come about? Atmosphere corresponds to a train station hall, long queues at the buffet only to get cold leftovers. It's terribly loud. It's the worst Resonante buffet I've been to so far, I was very embarrassed by the people I invited

The food is good, the price is noticeably higher than what I would personally spend on a single meal, but it is within reason. Unfortunately, the overly perfumed other guests were really annoying (yes: several). Do you have to overdose on cheap perfume while eating so that the other guests feel queasy? The operator can't do anything about it, but I have to rate it here because it really disrupted the food.

Quality of the food was very poor and too cold. The coffee doesn't taste good. Soft ice cream machine broken. We won't be coming back!

Directly opposite the Seilersee, in the same building as the FitX, is this large Asian restaurant with an all-you-can-eat buffet - including drinks such as soft drinks, beer, wine and coffee. Classic buffet with ready-made warm dishes, sushi etc. and the possibility of having fresh meat or fish fried with various side dishes and sauces. There is also a large selection of desserts, such as ice cream, cakes, puddings, etc. Empty bottles and plates were cleared away very quickly, everything was very clean, and everything was quickly refilled. The atmosphere is rather sober, like in a canteen. Some parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant.

Were there on a Saturday That was great....only we had reserved a table..they neglected to check whether the table and the floor at the table were clean....the food was very, very nice and very tasty. Gourmet Palast Iserlohn: This is not the first time we have been to this establishment, we liked everything, but it was a little unexpected that on the Instagram page the price was 14 euros per person from 12:30 to 14:30, but in fact, the price was 17 euros. I'm shocked by this bunch. We were 3 minutes over time because we were still putting the children's jackets on. We were shouted at, insulted and threatened in front of the children. It was a complete impudence to ask for more money after 2 hours for almost 300€ and on top of that the gentleman at the checkout told us to shut up!!! So definitely the last time we will visit this cafeteria!!!! It's not worth it !

The ambience is not reminiscent of an Asian gourmet palace but rather is rather depressive, the lamps on the ceiling have been defective for a long time! But the food is good and so is the selection.

Das Essen Qualität hat sich deutlich verschlechtert. Aufgrund dass der Restaurant mehr Kunden hat als früher, werden die Kunden jerzt nicht gut behandelt und werden mit komische blicke an der Buffet geguckt. Wir waren zuletzt 5 Personen dort nach 2 Std kommt einer von der Personal und warnt uns das wir in 30 min raus müssen und wieder nach 15 min gekommen und sagt wir müssen den Tisch aufräumen, da hat man keine Laune mehr dort zu bleiben. Deswegen nie wieder...

Solides Essen (Buffet) inkl. 2 Getränke! Preis/ Leistung i.O., aber die Kellner laufen in Freizeitkleidung herum und man weiß nie wer auf einen zukommt.... ein Gast oder ein Kellner.... ganz komisches Gefühl! Neben Fit-X, mit viel zu wenigen Parkplätzen. Definitiv viel zu kalt, es haben alle Gäste gefroren im Januar 2024!

Ein schönes Restaurant. Leider schon seit der Eröffnung vor vielen Jahren, kein Update. Lampen funktionieren seit Jahren nicht. Das Essen ist vielfältig und ganz ok. Buffet megalang. Service freundlich und bemüht. Man wird schon etwas "abgefertigt "Parkplätze sind vorhanden.

Nun muss ich meine Bewertung nach 4Jahren um einiges runtersetzen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr. Das Essen ist oft lauwarm bis kalt. Das Geschirr und auch die Sitzgelegenheiten haben das beste hinter sich. Schade und das bei mitlerweile 30Euro. Da geht es nur noch um viel Profit. Kundenfreundlich geht anders. Vor vier Jahren..... Sehr zu empfehlen...Preis Leistung ist Super.Sehr nettes und fiffiges Personal. Jederzeit wieder.....

Ansich war es gut, aaaaber an Feiertagen wie Weihnachten ist es einfach zu voll. Man sollte am Buffet einen Richtungsweiser aufstellen! Das war Chaos pur, jeder ging wie er wollte und man kam nicht überall dran... das Essen war lecker, das kann man nicht anders sagen. Das Ambiente ist eben Bahnhofshalle, sehr laut und die Decke ist einfach zu hoch, etwas abhängen wäre schön. Aber ist Geschmackssache. An Feiertagen gehen wir nicht mehr hin, so in der Woche vielleicht schon.

Das Essen ist super! Das Buffet wird immer frisch belegt und die Getränke sind auch im Preis!

Das Essen war okay, dafür das Personal frech und unfreundlich.die Toiletten roch man schon im Flur und waren dermaßen verdeckt das man sie nicht mehr betreten konnte,Urin , Toiletten Papier auf dem Boden verteilt und verkotete schüsseln. Für mich einmal und nie wieder

Zum Weihnachtsfeiertag gibt es einen Extrapreis aber aber 0,0 Deko, es war derart voll, das ich zwar bezahlt aber außer einem Stück Kuchen nichts gegessen habe. Nach einer Stunde ging es dann zwar aber mir war es vergangen. Ich bin geheilt von dem System...

Wir waren an Weihnachten dort essen. Leider wurde wir weder bei der Reservierung noch beim Empfang darauf hingewiesen das es wegen Weihnachten 2€ pro Person Aufpreis gibt. Dies haben wir erst bei der Bezahlung erfahren. Somit stimmten die Feiertagspreise auf der Karte und im Internet nicht. Schön wäre es wenn man vorher darauf hingewiesen wird!!! Ansonsten leckeres Essen große Auswahl auch an Getränke und alles lecker und warm.

Gute Auswahl was das Essen angeht.

Eigentlich waren wir nicht das erste mal da und im Grunde auch stets zufrieden. Aber nun waren wir seit längerem mit den Arbeitskolleginnen da, um eine Weihnachtsfeier zu feiern. Wir waren 14 Personen, aßen, tranken, lachten. Man schlich nur schon seltsam stets um uns herum und machte Druck wegen der Dauer (ja, man hat jetzt eine festgeschriebene Dauer bzgl. des Aufenthalts dort!), die wir zu bleiben gedachten. Letzten Endes wurden wir praktisch nach festgeschriebener Zeit ähnlich eines Termins trotz leerem Lokal rausgeschmissen, da wir aufgrund dessen nicht draufzahlen wollten und noch beschuldigt, einer hätte nicht gezahlt. Das war weder kundenfreundlich, noch menschlich. Sollte das Lokal dies nicht in Zukunft ändern, werden wir es nicht mehr besuchen - weder in einer kleinen, noch in einer größeren Gruppe. Pech für die Inhaber, denen dadurch Einnahmen verloren gehen. Meine Arbeitskolleginnen und ich arbeiten alle im Verkauf und wissen, was Freundlichkeit zu bedeuten hat. Hier null Sterne und keine Empfehlung!

Wirklich ein sehr tolles All you can eat Restaurant! Alles warm und lecker ! Sehr viel Nachtisch Möglichkeiten... Sogar Kaffe 😊 die großen Kronenleuchter sind zwar schön, aber leider ist jede einzelne am blinken oder komplett kapput, dadurch ist es sehr dunkel. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden wieder kommen!

Es ist wie in einer Lagerhalle,sehr ungemütlich. Erinnert an einen Schnellimbiss, da man sich sogar die Getränke selber am Automaten holen muss. Vom Essen her war es ok, eine sehr große Auswahl am Buffet, nur leider war einiges schon kalt oder lauwarm. Zum Service kann man nicht viel sagen, da das Personal nur die Tische abräumt und nur die Speise die frisch zubereitet wurden bringen.

Wie eine Lagerhalle groß und ungemütlich. Essen war teilweise kalt oder lauwarm. Kein wirklicher Service da man sich sogar die Getränke am Automaten selbst holen musste.

Also mittlerweile echt traurig geworden, fast jeden Familiengeburtstag dort gefeiert . Von 18 bis 21 gebucht bis 22 Uhr haben die auf sind doch echt mit einer recht großen Gruppe von 22 Personen um kurz nach 21 Uhr raus geworfen worden. Das war der letzte Geburtstag da für mich waren eigentlich immer sehr zufrieden. Jetzt sage ich nicht mehr und billig ist es auch nicht . Gehe nie unter 500 Euro raus und dann wird man raus befördert. Sehr schade

Hat etwas von einer Kantine. Sehr laut, Bedienungen könnte freundlicher sein. Die Speisen zum braten lassen waren von guter Qualität. Die Saucen und Dips lecker.

Ambiente könnte etwas ansprechender gestaltet werden. Kronleuchter sind fast alle defekt oder am flackern. Jenachdem wo man sitzt ist es echt kalt bzw. am ziehen. Essen am Buffet ist teilweise relativ kalt. Das mongolische essen dafür ist sehr gut und sehr frisch sowie eine große Auswahl. Der Service ist nett und extrem schnell. Getränke Auswahl ist super. Alles dabei was man sich wünscht.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber es gibt bessere Chinesen. Die Umgebaute Lagerhalle hat leider keinen gemütlichen Charme.
