For 13.90 euros, doner meat with salad and some tzatziki...a hefty price tag! Unfortunately, in my opinion, there's far too little on the plate for that amount.

Always top-notch. A friendly family team, warm, hardworking, and always with a smile for the guests. A truly beautiful ambiance in the garden, which can be admired indoors even in winter.

The meat is incredibly dry and doesn't taste like veal. The prices are outrageously expensive. 1 Dürüm 1 Döner kebab without bread (because they didn't have any bread), it was a small bowl of meat 1 French Fries 3 Drinks ———————- 30 euros Never again!

I can't understand the negative reviews here. We've been to the restaurant several times now. We didn't have a kebab, but our food, such as the baked eggplant with minced meat, sweet potato fries, and salad, was always delicious and delicious! The owners are always so friendly, and the atmosphere out back on the lily pond terrace is incredibly relaxing, truly unique ♡♡♡♡

Very delicious food. The owners put a lot of effort into the place and are very friendly. You can sit on the terrace in the back garden when the weather is nice, or in the conservatory when the weather is bad. You can also order takeaway food.

Nine times out of ten, no matter where you go, you'll get a far superior doner kebab.

Worst kebab I've ever eaten. The kebab meat was reheated and fried in a pan, rubbery in texture and tasteless. Some of the meat was raw on the plate, as you can see in the photos. Add to that the price of €13 for a very small portion. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat a kebab here; I can't comment on the other dishes. The photos clearly show that the meat is cooked on both sides. Better go a few meters further to Lidl and get a roll.

It was my first time there and I was shocked. The place doesn't seem very clean. The meat on the skewer doesn't look inviting. To top it all off, however, is that the meat is cut off and thrown onto a plate to heat. This makes it bone dry. For 13 euros, that's an absolute disgrace!

As already mentioned in previous comments, the meat is heated on a plate and doesn't look particularly appetizing even on a skewer. This is a no-go in other kebab shops. It would be nice if something changed in this regard, such as freshly cut meat, etc., and then the stars would increase again for a top-notch kebab.

The interior is unkempt, but the food is still fresh. Service is very good, depending on who's there. If only someone would come in; the place has been closed for weeks.

Very nice but unfortunately I didn't particularly like the kebab meat. The baklava was very tasty. But I also found it to be a little more expensive.

Seriously? 18.50 for a doner kebab plate with barely any meat left on it, with a beer? That's unacceptable. Service is abysmal. They bring their plates in just to be nice, and then wait for ages to pay. Nah, sorry. I'd rather make the trip to Cologne and eat a doner kebab plate twice the size for 13 euros. The Gourmet Lounge would have to double the amount on the plates. So, after the meal, I'd go back to McDonald's to get full. That was my last visit there. A year ago, it was still okay, but compensating for the lack of customers with such prices so they don't close is completely unacceptable. That's not only extortion, it's fraud. Any Cologne beauhaus is better and cheaper too. I'd rather recommend the doner kebabs in Pulheim directly. It's best to close the shop or just go bankrupt.

I was just passing through and had to go to the toilet. I was allowed to do this and then the woman told me very rudely “that’s €1!” I then said that I didn't have any cash with me and then it turned into a discussion. Super rude. I've never experienced anything like that.

Food was very good, kebab gratinated was great, service was very friendly It doesn't look that inviting from the outside, but the inside, especially the terrace in the back, is very nice

My favorite dish: pasta with vegetables, vegetarian. Made with love. See below. But other dishes, such as vegetable potato pancakes with salad or fried potatoes with vegetables and everything else are freshly put together individually as desired. Attached is also a photo of the restaurant terrace with garden. The family always tries to make everything as comfortable as possible for the guests.

Bought a kebab and had a bad stomach Meat didn't work and sauce also had a crisis

Wow Vallah for that's not normal had a terrible stomach ache. This meat tasted like pork and was not cooked through. I honestly say never again. Waited 30 minutes just for that

In the evening we ate a kebab plate, mixed veal and chicken, with fries and salad, including 2 sauces. Delicious, very lovingly prepared for a snack and warmly welcomed.

On site you will experience a lot of hospitality and great service. The terrace invites you to linger on hot days. The food is lovingly prepared and tastes delicious from the starter to the dessert.

Meat for the kebab was fried instead of fresh from the spit. This will of course make it drier. When I asked if I could have the meat from the spit, I was told that I would be happy if it was fried again and otherwise I could leave. Then I left. I don't know how many kebabs I've eaten in Cologne and the surrounding area, but I've never had one from the grill.

I bought a kebab there yesterday. Even though the kebab skewer was out, the lady cut up the raw meat and wrapped the cold meat in bread. I think it's a shame that the food is served so carelessly.

The inside of the shop isn't really very inviting, but the terrace is quite nice. In my opinion, the price of the kebab is a bit too expensive for what you get, but the taste is okay, although I have had much better ones. All in all okay.

Der Name ist leider nicht so ganz passend. Man erhält zwar sehr gut schmeckende, vorwiegend türkische Spezialitäten, aber als Gourmet würde es nicht durchgehen. Und das verlangt auch keiner! Im Winter sorgen Heizstrahler für Wärme im Wintergarten, die Tische sind immer sauber und ordentlich. Im Sommer kann man hinten auf der Terrasse Platz nehmen. Auch hier ist alles immer sauber und ordentlich. Zum Verweilen und Entspannen an wärmeren Tagen immer zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente zwar im Wintergarten nicht ganz so heimelig aber durchaus ein Geheimtipp, das Essen das nächste Mal nicht nur mitzunehmen. Es sind auch vegetarische Gerichte im Angebot.

Der Laden wirkt leider schon beim Betreten ziemlich uneinladend. Hängen dort doch immer noch Corona Schutzwände aus Plastik, die mittlerweile völlig verdreckt sind. Der Döner ist für den happigen Preis viel zu klein und auch geschmacklich weit weg von gut und sogar noch teurer als in der Preisliste die an der Theke aushängt. Obwohl ich „komplett“ bestellt hatte fehlten die Zwiebeln, die beim genaueren hinsehen in die Ladentheke leer waren und wohl nicht mehr aufgefüllt wurden. Alles in allem echt enttäuschend.

Tut euch selbst einen Gefallen und kauft dort keinen Döners Ungenießbar!Die Zubereitung ist eine Farce

Gestern waren wir mit meinen Kindern, die zu Besuch waren, hier essen. Es ist immer wieder ein Vergnügen, weil es sehr lecker schmeckt und weil es für uns fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Es gibt nicht nur Innenplätze sondern auch eine schöne Terrasse, die bei schönem Wetter und mit einem Teich förmlich einlädt draußen zu sitzen. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich, die Speisekarte vielfältig. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Manche Bewertungen hier sind eine absolute Frechheit!!! Wir sind seit Jahren Kunden und es ist immer sauber, hygienisch und das Essen ist immer frisch und lecker! Edelimbiss mit Edeldöner zu etwas höheren Preisen. Essen ist gut. Gebäude ist schon etwas älter, aber alles nett gemacht; Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Also ich kann hier manche "Kritik" nicht nachvollziehen. Habe heute dort Essen zum mitnehmen geholt (Dönerteller, Lahmacun und Dönertasche, 2xHähnchen, 1xKalb) und es hat uns Dreien sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Zutaten waren alle einwandfrei und frisch. Die Dame mit Brille hinter der Theke war sehr freundlich und sprach auch einwandfrei deutsch, falls das für irgendwen von Bedeutung sein sollte. Die Preise finden wir persönlich vollkommen angemessen. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es auch nur deshalb, weil ich in meiner alten Heimat (Ruhrpott) den besten Döner meines Lebens gegessen habe und dieser Döner mein 5-Sterne-Maß ist :D Aber wie gesagt sehr lecker und gute Portionsgrößen. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Gurkenstücke vielleicht etwas kleiner schneiden? Der erste Biss in meinen Döner war quasi nur Brot und ein großes Gurkenstück :D Fazit: 4,5 von 5 Sternen, gerne wieder.

Einzige Pommesbude in Brauweiler. Sieht vorne klein aus aber hinten ist ordentlich Platz zum sitzen. Waren schon häufiger hier und haben gut gegessen.

Ein kleines Familienunternehmen, wo es zwar unsren beliebten Döner gibt aber nicht nur. Unheimlich toll fand ich, dass diese Familie trotz des schwierigen Jahrs 2020, den Imbiss noch weiter zu einem Restaurant ausgebaut haben. Wenn man durchläuft, ist hinten ein schöner großer Raum mit Blick auf den Garten. Da haben die liebevoll noch einen Teich angelegt und Terrasse, und es ist wie eine kleine Auszeit. Die bedienen mit viel Liebe und das Essen ist sehr köstlich. Es ist quasi eine Mischung aus Döner Imbiss und türkischen Restaurant. Man lernt also auch andere Gerichte kennen. Und zum Abschluss einen Mokka und frisch gebackenen Baklava. Definitiv ein MUST wenn man da vorbei kommt. Lol, und ganz schlau, die sind direkt an der Bushaltestelle Brauweiler Abtei, also kommt man eigentlich nicht drumrum ;)

Lammrücken mit Pommes zweierlei Dips... Scharf und Knobi. Dazu ein gemischter Salat in schönem Ambiente. Draußen auf der Terrasse, direkt am neu angelegtem kleinem Wasserbiotop.... 😁👍

Ich muss hier zwei Sterne geben. Das Personal ist echt freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber das Essen wofür ich eigentlich dahin komme ist echt reudig. Fleisch ist labrig und hab mies die Blähungen bekommen. Glauben sie mir dieser andere Gestank kam meinen Gästen gar net gut. Hiernach kann ich euch leider überhaupt nicht glauben, dass ihr nur "frische" Sachen kauft. Wäre das Personal nicht ständig im Urlaub oder anderweitig beschäftigt, könnte man da auch mal was kaufen. (Ist halt der einzige Imbiss in Brauweiler und Dansweiler (außer Mcs))

Seit Jahren gleichbleibend hohe Qualität und immer frische und wohlschmeckende Zutaten. Die Speisen entsprechen einer guten Qualität und das Personal des Familienunternehmens ist sehr freundlich. Die Gourmet Lounge wird von vielen Stammkunden besucht, was schon ein recht gutes Indiz für die Qualität ist. Hier komme ich immer wieder gerne hin.

Super lecker, super freundlich, sehr empfehlenswert. Die Terrasse und das Restaurant im hinteren Bereich sehen wirklich sehr schön aus.

Einladendes Ambiente, hervorragender Service, üppige Portionen zu einem unschlagbaren Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis und dazu noch wirklich lecker! Probiert unbedingt die Gemüsepuffer, denn diese sind einfach nur der Hit.

Top einfach nur gut das essen ist mega lecker und mehr als gerechtfertigt für den preis.
