The food was great, the large shrimp plate, plaice Finkenwerder and fried fish were all highly recommended!

Fine fast food. Order and pay in advance(!) at the counter, food and drinks separately. Bring drinks and finished dishes to the table yourself. The food itself was ok, but definitely too expensive. Fast food restaurant prices.

The waitresses don't know any please or thank you and they certainly don't know how to smile. If you want to eat something you have to wait until one of the conditions has finished writing your WhatsApp message. If you want to know what types of tea there are, all you get is a perplexed look.

Even if you have to get the food yourself, it's quick and well organized. Plus, the food is super delicious. Ambience very nice.

We stopped there for lunch. It's self-service there (which is perfectly fine) but why isn't it written anywhere (small pieces of paper on the table or menu). The service clears away the dirty dishes and none of them even said: please go in to order. After more than 5 minutes, a nice woman from the next table pointed it out to us. Food was okay but not a highlight either. The weather was good, so we were able to sit outside, which was very comfortable.

The Gosch in Binz is much more beautiful, the most beautiful is the Gosch in Sankt-Peter Ording and almost by the sea, the Gosch in Norderney is in the middle of the city, which is about as ugly as Bottrop or Gelsenkirchen (sorry) there are just too many Construction sins. But the food was - as always - very good.

Gosch is not far from the beach, like all Gosch branches I know, it is set up as a self-service restaurant only with a clearing service, otherwise comfortably furnished and clean, some with high tables, staff friendly, food is delicious. We will definitely come back to one or two branches.

We ate here three times during our vacation - not without reason. Good selection of fish, reasonable price, good quality, very fresh. We enjoyed it very much (the zander fillet with prawns and the king prawns, all fresh from the grill, are particularly recommended) and the process (self-service, no reservation possible) proved to be very practical. A big recommendation!

Food was fine as always, service was the problem, despite the fact that there was dirt on the floor. The three of us stand around in the corner and while eating we ask if we're ready.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Ordered a lake view and a fine fish plate. Everything was full of fat. Actually the fish should be grilled. Also, the fish wasn't seasoned at all. No taste. At least we will no longer visit the Gosch on Norderney.

A beautiful and clean holiday island with a great beach. You can feel that you are on the North Sea. A harsh climate with lots of sun and wind, waves that you have to get used to. Everything is geared towards tourism, lots of shops and restaurants with nice and friendly staff. The island is worth a trip and it's easy to get there. There's a ferry every hour and you're there after an hour and a half.

About 10 years ago I ate regularly at Gosch on Sylt for the first time and was thrilled. Over the years I have eaten at Gosch at a few offshoots, in various holiday resorts, and noticed that it was no longer what I knew from Sylt back then. Now on Norderney I was extremely disappointed with Gosch. You can now compare it with the North Sea restaurants, only the prices are higher at Gosch, the service is worse and the staff is unfriendly and totally uninterested in the customer. No thanks, that's enough for me. Shame about the “Gosch” brand

Mass production! absolutely nothing special, basically North Sea quality on a different plate. Fish rolls sold outside are not recommended, mine was very sticky and was already a bit on the table. Inside there are almost only standing tables, so to speak you want to have the customer in the store, but make it as uncomfortable as possible for them so that they can quickly give up the table again. I don't have to go back here.

We always enjoy visiting Gosch.

Auf der Suche nach einem leckeren Backfischbrötchen haben wir uns ganz auf den bekannten Namen "Gosch" verlassen. An der To-Go Theke bekommt man die Brötchen direkt auf die Hand. Für 7,50 Euro bekommt man leider einen Backfisch, den selbst Iglu besser hinbekommt. Quadratisch, trocken, alt und nicht der rede wert. Wer mal in den Genuss eines echten Backfisches, frisch frittiert gekommen ist, der kann hier nur den Kopf schütteln und das Weite suchen! Hier gilt eher sehen und gesehen werden aber wer qualitativ hochwertig essen gehen möchte, egal ob auf die Hand oder vor Ort, sollte sich doch andere Lokalitäten suchen!

Disappointing! It was our first time at Gosch and we didn't know the “self-service concept”. We didn't like that at all. We were there at lunchtime and the shop was busy. Our food was very disappointing, frozen breaded fish, ready-made mayo with a few dried herbs added and offered as “remoulade”. Fries not cooked through. Ready-made salad with a few pieces of pepper and cucumber, mixed with a few drops of ready-made dressing. No, people, that passes for cafeteria grub for me; for me it has nothing in common with good food. The fish fry around the corner is way better - even without a well-known name. Why is the store still full? No idea!!!

We ate there once and it was something different. You look for a place and, for example, scan the menu, choose something, then go to the counter and order and pay. Then you get a device when it beeps and the food is ready to be picked up. The food was very, very tasty. When you're done, you get up and leave. Well, I don't even know where to start, the Thai noodles were the worst I've ever had!!! I'm extremely disappointed and the fish soup was a disaster.... So Gosch Norderney will never see us again!!!! A pity....

The menu distinguishes between “grilled” and “fried” shrimp. In practice, the shrimp are all prepared in the same dripping pan. So there are no grilled shrimps at Gosch on Norderney, what a shame!

Food wasn't exceptional. There is also covered outside seating, but we sat inside. Very cramped in terms of space. We had to order food at the counter and pick it up ourselves. But after the meal it was cleared away. But, I was told, that would be typical of Gosch. For me personally it wasn't anything special. For me, eating in a restaurant means not sitting on your neighbor's lap, a waitress who gives good advice and food that tastes good.

Unfortunately the food is not recommended. Baked fish, currywurst and Thai noodles with shrimp were ordered. All of the dishes didn't convince us and weren't very appetizing in our opinion.

Das Marketingkonzept von Gosch auf Norderney scheint aufzugehen: der zentral gelegene Laden im Imbißstil ist meist bumsvoll. Warum, war uns unklar: Bei den relativ stolzen Preisen ist die Selbstabholung der Speisen an der Essensausgabe inkludiert sowie in meinem Fall ein Pannfisch mit 3 zu trockenen Fisch-Filets an Mini-Salatbeilage und sparsam bemessenen Kartoffeln. Dafür ging alles recht rasch ... und eine junge, freundliche Angestellte hatte uns geholfen, in dem Trubel einen freien Tisch zu finden.

Why does the Gosch only have 3.9 stars if the store is always full? The price-performance ratio is very good, the food is great and plentiful. Maybe people expect a lot more?

Central location and good system food. The Thai noodles with shrimp are great! The staff is generally nice, but perhaps a little stressed due to the sheer crowds of people and the associated noise level: a “Moin” repeated three times finally draws the guest's attention to the waitress (as I said, it was quite loud) to place the order . It was great that there were two toys for two children but only one kids menu: someone thought of that! Always my pleasure.

My visit to Gosch on Norderney today was unfortunately disappointing. The food was as usual, but the service left a lot to be desired. The lady behind the counter was particularly negative because you could clearly see that she didn't feel like working. Friendliness and commitment were sought in vain, which greatly spoiled the overall impression. For a restaurant that has built a good reputation, this is unacceptable. This urgently needs to be improved.

If you compare gosch Norderney with gosch St. Peter Ording, then there is a world of difference. The ambience and the food tasted much better at St. Peter Ording.

Delicious meals for the whole family. Quickly prepared in a nice atmosphere. The staff is always very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would complain about is the side baguettes - they taste like the cheapest baked goods.

Only had fish sandwiches, but they were by far the worst compared to three other stalls nearby. Matjes on baked rolls with a huge raw onion. It was dry and actually only tasted like onion. The service wasn't particularly friendly either. At least just buy fish sandwiches somewhere else.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. The chef should be fired, spices seem to be a foreign word in the kitchen. The noodles were bland & didn't absorb the sauce (watery & tasteless). The vegetables were hard, and unfortunately the fish was too. A complete taste disaster, even the worst cafeteria crap can shine on the other hand, especially because you're paying for quality that you don't even get a response from. Never again

My wife has a food intolerance to garlic. We said this before we ordered and the response was less than suboptimal. "Just leave out the sauce/remoulade." Aside from the fact that there is also breading and side dishes, the employee, to say the least, had no idea what problems my wife might have. We then looked for a restaurant that took the issue of allergies seriously.

Food was delicious. Had classic currywurst fries. A few more fries and salad wouldn't have hurt. It was well attended. The table has something stuck.

Consistently disappointing. During our Norderney week this year we visited Gosch twice. In the past we were actually always satisfied. The staff seemed arrogant and uninterested in the customer. I had to call attention to myself at the ordering counter and ask which of the employees would take my order. I found it strange, not good style. On our first visit I ordered a salad (summer salad). That was ok so far. Only one fish skewer was so over-seasoned that it was inedible and caused direct diarrhea. For my second order, I ordered the fish soup, which I had always enjoyed in previous years. This time there were a lot of inedible parts of fish such as belly flaps with skin and the fin edges of flatfish in the soup. The operations manager happened to come to the tables and asked if everything was OK. After I complained about the quality of the soup, he wanted to explain to me in all seriousness that only good pieces of fish go into the soup and that I could only be wrong. Conclusion: Gosch WAS good once, but not again

So far we have been to many Gosch restaurants and since this was our first time visiting Norderney, Gosch on Norderney was of course also on our agenda. We always look forward to the game fish plate and this time too we were super satisfied: it's simply delicious and a very large portion! If we then get a bottle of Pinot Gris for less than €20, and we really liked the wine, then we think that's sensational! The service was also super nice! This gives us a rating of 5 stars in all areas. My experience the next day was unbelievable: Unfortunately, when I left, I discovered that I had lost my wallet. After blocking the cards, I reported to the lost and found office feeling relatively hopeless with the intention: Even if the money is gone, hopefully I won't have to apply for all the documents again. Then a short time later I got a call from the lost and found office saying that the boss of Gosch Norderney had handed over the wallet. The cash was all there! He probably didn't find it personally, so I would also like to thank everyone else in the chain: Maybe they also found great guests who are in all Gosch restaurants and who we've already gotten to know. But definitely with the Gosch team including the boss, with whom I have already contacted about the finder's fee. We are already looking forward to our next Gosch visit!

Wir hatten eine Kartoffelsuppe. Diese war aus der Dose (von Gut und Günstig gibt es die Gleiche). Sehr enttäuschend für 7 Euro. Unverschämt so etwas in einer kleinen Schale. Knobi Brot trocken, fast keine Knobisauce drauf. Konnte es kaum essen. Nie wieder. ABZOCKE !!!!

Gosch is always worth a visit. In addition to delicious fish dishes, you can always get a good wine with your meal here. The price/performance ratio is right and the location is uncomplicated. The highlight was the great strawberry punch - super tasty.

Anyone who knows Gosch from 2-3 years ago will be disappointed by now...🥹! Our fish plate for €24.50 😳 was very manageable and not worth the money. We used to always love great fish dishes with a great. Price/performance ratio = today there are 2 thin fish fillets with a few crabs, that's it! As long as the place continues to be so full, nothing will change 😉!

GOSCH Norderney sounds so great and then you get frozen fish. THAT WAS SO DISAPPOINTING!!!! Even here in Xanten you can get “fresh” fried fish in a homemade breading. Here, too, you have to order and get your own food/drinks. The staff was very friendly and always cleared everything away quickly. When it comes to food, there are much better places here.

Can't understand the hype. We bought a smoked salmon roll here on hand. Thin slice of salmon, an onion ring and you're done. It was tasty but ultimately a joke for the price. But good, if you need to have been to the Gosch... You can do it, but you don't have to.

Are the employees also friendly? Because we know it from Düsseldorf and Binz, we would have liked to have taken matjes (without rolls) to take home with us. We have never experienced such an arrogant fish sandwich seller. We'd rather go to Mo in the future!

Our food, pasta with crab meat, was really not edible because it was bone dry. There was also definitely too much crab meat. Which might have appealed to some people. The food was taken back after a complaint and they promised to bring us a new meal. This also came after 10 minutes, only it was the same. The fish sandwiches have also lost quality. Several places on the island offer much better options. A pity!

I ordered the Thai noodles because I always liked them so much and I was really looking forward to them. Unfortunately, I only received tomato sauce, which I then complained about. With a shrug of the shoulders and the statement that the sauce was currently out of stock and I would have to be content with the "house sauce" I had created myself, I was dismissed. I would have liked to have been given a hint in advance or, alternatively, to have been able to choose a different dish. So for me there will be no more Gosch visits! Bad service (complaint!!!)

Gosch Norderney. The Gosch is located in the center of Norderney opposite the Kurhaus. You can eat really well in Gosch. There is also a snack bar where you can get delicious fish sandwiches and crab rolls. The restaurant also has a large outdoor area. Almost staff is very nice. The service is good. You can't park there. But it is very easy to reach on foot.

Best fish restaurant ever. We are already looking forward to the next location in Travemünde. It couldn't be fresher or better. Service is PERFECT. 👍👍🦖🍷

We had dinner there last night. I have to say that Gosch has become very disadvantageous. The two fish plates were well prepared but completely tasteless. No herbs, salt or pepper. The fried potatoes were just greasy and soggy. The waitress pointed out self-service to us in an unfriendly manner. The business model fits, high prices for tasteless food and self-service. They know how to make money.

Sensational white wine Blanc, with a fish sandwich, simply delicious 😉🥂😉 1 hour is a must.
