This was a good choice for dinner: a completely different experience of prepared food, eating with instructions. Our waitress patiently explained what you were getting and left instructions at the table for you to enjoy. The local beer was even drinkable. We really enjoyed it and hope to be guests again.

Excellent cuisine, everything was served quickly, the chacha was cold (which is just perfect), the khinkali was 10/10, the pork shish kebab was simply divine (very tender), and the lula was also without question! The waitress was very nice and was able to answer our questions about allergies and prepare the food accordingly. I had a coughing fit while walking and the owner was very nice and gave me a water bottle for free. The food is very garlicky, which we really liked, but you should be prepared.

The first time was in the winter, other staff and impressions were pleasant. Today was the second time, we didn't like it at all, we won't go again. From Georgian food, khinkali, khachapuri, tarragon and Georgian wine. I liked khachapuri, it is difficult to spoil it. I didn't like the shish kebab at all, the assortment is only pork and chicken. The potatoes served with the kebab were burning like coal. Russian beer "Baltika" and "Stary Melnyk". Music, Meladze, had to be asked to include Georgian. There were two adults and a child. Spent 75 Euros. We ordered two khachapuri, (5 pieces) a portion of khinkali, two portions of shish kebab, tarragon.

We had dinner here at Gori with friends. It was a first for us and we can only say it was absolutely worth it. Nice service, good ambience and great food. Always my pleasure. It is a gastronomic enrichment for Halle.

The food was very tasty and nicely presented. However, I have to deduct a star: I ordered dumplings but got some kind of pizza. This may be a translation error. But the “pizza” was also very tasty. The service was super nice and accommodating. German was a bit broken but still understandable. Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars for the atmosphere: on the one hand, I personally found the Georgian music a bit loud, on the other hand, the door was open and you couldn't hear your own thoughts when the tram passed by. It's a shame, because the restaurant is very stylishly furnished and invites you to linger. The price was extremely fair and reasonable. I only paid €15 for the main course and drink and I definitely got enough.

My experience with the “Gori” has once again taught me that experience can sometimes cost money that one would rather have spent elsewhere. My wife and I visited the restaurant to get to know the atmosphere and the quality of the food; after all, we are looking for a place where I would like to celebrate my 50th birthday. The restaurant is manageable and appears to be clean. The pictures on the wall try to reflect the flair of this great culture, but it still remains somehow cool and seems more like a bistro where lingering is not welcome. The drinks menu in particular leaves no room for doubt. Totally overpriced Georgian wines of poor quality. If I had been offered a Saperavi Qvevri from JSC Corporation Kindzmarauli or a Mukuzani Khareba, then I would have said the price of 5.50 for 0.1 l (0.2 l is not offered) was perhaps justified. However, what I had in the glass was a secret because there was no further information on the card about the origin or the winemaker. This secret had a bouquet of, and I have to exaggerate, disinfectant. If a wine smells like alcohol, then it cannot be of quality and in no way justifies the calculated bottle price of €38.50. To be fair, I have to say that the bottle price according to the menu was €29.80, which still seems far overpriced for the quality offered. Now about the food. We ordered a khartscho (a typical soup, here with veal). Yes, the soup was okay, there was good meat in it for a soup. The spiciness was good, there could have been a little more salt here, but that's a matter of taste. Unfortunately, the rice in the soup was already overcooked, so it seemed a bit mushy. But overall, this was the best choice in our small round of testing. At €8.50 for a bowl of soup, it's not exactly cheap. We also wanted to treat ourselves to “Khinkali” (dumplings similar to pelmeni, only much larger), filled with lamb, and “Chkmeruli” in garlic sauce (fried chicken). However, we were not spoiled in any way with the dishes themselves, but rather with plenty of salt, which, especially with the Khinkali, made them inedible. It was simply not possible to eat these khinkali. We had to return these. The three fried pieces of chicken were not even as big as a drumstick. Based on the bones, I almost suspect that these were pieces of back with some meat. These three small pieces were then drowned in a sea of ​​thickened garlic sauce. This sauce was served with white bread with sesame as a side dish. But here too the sauce was so salty that it was almost impossible to eat, even with bread. Now about the service. The young woman who worked in service seemed friendly at first but then very distant. She was far from asking whether we liked it or whether we had any other wishes. We didn't expect a “Tamada”, but a minimum of attention and some communication would have been desirable. So as we finished our meal, I told the young woman that she would like to please inform the chef about the over-salted food. A cold, uncertain smile, the plate put aside, no communication with the kitchen - disinterest at its most extreme. No giving in, no arbitration, nothing. I didn't expect the full bill of almost €50.00 for bad food and poor service. Many reviews have already stated that the food was very salty and the service was mediocre, but apparently people here are resistant to criticism and don't want to change anything. This was our first visit here, we were open and expected good Georgian cuisine, but what we got was cuisine that definitely doesn't exist in Georgia.

The steaming khinkali with cheese were wonderfully airy and spicy. And the cool, sweet white one with a dessert. Brilliant, even though I only really like dry white wine. The fine chicken in milk sauce was freshly cooked for us again after the original was too salty for us, ...and we also had a very nice chat. ...THANK YOU, it was very good and nice.

There were four of us and we were able to taste our way through, everything was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was right. Only the dessert menu, including coffee specialties, can still be improved. We'd love to come back! 👍

Simple furnishings. Not too many dishes on the menu, but really good ones. The Caucasian cuisine is highly recommended. Two people shared two dishes with us, which was easy to do. The advice left nothing to be desired.

We were warmly welcomed and served quickly. However, the selection of food and drinks is very limited and certainly not something for everyone. Not everyone in the group liked the food itself; it was very salty and somehow not a “real” main course. The air in the dining room was very bad and the clothes smelled like you had been standing in the kitchen. All in all an experience, but I won't be back. Card payment is also not possible.

There were four of us eating. Three starters served at different times. The main courses arrived a little late. The “service staff” positioned the drinks and appetizer plates so that there was also room for the main courses on the table. No further drinks were asked. There was a long, thick hair in one of the foods that couldn't have been ours. The lamb chop was overly seasoned and the chicken was very gristly. The salad for the main course was the best. We sat with our half-eaten portions for about 40 minutes before the “service person” came to clear away the food. Note that the lady had been to the next table to serve eight times up to this point. Not once were we noticed or asked if everything was okay. Even now she didn't ask why we didn't eat. When asked about the hair in the food, there was a small smile. Incomprehensible!!! We paid and left. Never again!

Since I first ate Khachapuri Adjaruli in Russia many years ago and fell in love with Georgian cuisine, I never miss a Georgian restaurant (if there is one) on any trip. The 'Gori' is so far the best of all the ones I've tried. We were in Halle from Friday to Sunday and here on Friday. The food was so good that we made a reservation for Saturday evening... Adjaruli, two varieties of Khinkali and Pkhali were fantastic. The very nice waitress and the cozy atmosphere rounded off the picture. Perfect!

I was there for the third time. Unfortunately it was also the last time. The service was initially good, then the food arrived. The shish kebab consisted of 4 small cubes of meat. There was also coleslaw, and instead of the actual side dish (= fried potatoes), 2 slices of tomato and 2 small pieces of cheese. It was briefly explained that unfortunately the potatoes for the fried potatoes were out. When asked, there was at least a small basket of bread, cold, without dip or anything else. Not comparable to the pictures on the online menu. Without further apology, but at the normal price. Sorry, but never like that again. Unfortunately we left hungry.

The second star is for the nice service. The khinkali dough was great: almost no meat filling, not a drop of juice! I honestly don't know how it could be done. Maybe it was a diet menu? Pork shish kebab: meat was mild and medium fried! 3.5 pieces of meat on the plate! The side dishes were OK. Want something better in terms of taste: It should be positioned like a home kitchen snack with 2 left hands. We were disappointed, we would not visit this store again and would not recommend it to anyone.

We didn't try any food, so only 1 star. You can find service below and I can't say much about the ambience either. The service gives 0 stars from both of us. We came to lunch as a couple and on an escooter and were politely invited to the table by the nice lady. Afterwards, the managing director probably joined in this conversation with the statement that the escooters should be thrown out the door. I told him I didn't want this because of theft and wanted to take him to my place and fold him up in the niche. The man then started arguing with me, saying who is stealing from outside this restaurant? Then I turned around with my father and we left. We are currently sitting in the Halleschen Brauhaus, where it was no problem at all to take the escooter to the table I would like to thank you for the simplicity in the Halleschen Brauhaus.

Truly one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at! The food is very good. The waitress who served us was a great woman. We had questions about the decoration and they were happy to answer them. The only disadvantage: Hardly any parking spaces nearby but you can still easily reach it by train.

Dumpling with veal number 14 on the menu, it was too salty, but tasty and plenty. Staff friendly, but it took a while before you could order. There was a bit of a draft because the window skylight was open, but how else would the haze go away? All in all, highly recommended.

My expectations were completely met, original dishes were deliciously prepared, friendly, attentive service and, last but not least, an atmosphere that I really liked. We found a new restaurant for us where we now go more often

We visited the restaurant based on a recommendation and were very satisfied. The staff is friendly and the service is good. The food is prepared fresh and quickly. We tried different dishes and shared them. Very tasty in terms of taste and quality, and the prices are also completely reasonable. The highlight is the open kitchen where you can see the preparation live. You should reserve a table on weekend evenings as the restaurant is not huge. All in all very convincing and we will definitely come back.

Very mixed opinion 1. Food The main dishes are very very salty. I got a headache after visiting the restaurant and it took me some time to recover. I am pretty sure Georgian food in general is quite salty, but I am certain, that this was too much, even for Georgian food. However I still liked some of the food. There are some eggplant, beet root and spinach side dishes mixed with nuts, that I really enjoyed. Originally I wanted to try out Georgian dumplings, but when I went there I was told that it would take a long time (40+ min) that day to prepare them and I didn't want to wait that long. 2. Service The service worker was really nice and kind. But when I went there I ordered a mint tea and got a green tea instead, which is not that bad, but still mildly annoying. 3 Atmosphere The restaurant itself looks nice, but there were some annoyances. There was a bright lamp shining on my dining table that irregularly turned on and off, which was irritating, because it was much brighter than all the other lamps in the restaurant and it was not pleasant to get surprised by the light in your face every 10-15 min. Additionally there was a cold breeze going through my place in the restaurant every time someone opened the door. I recommend getting a table in one of the corners in the restaurant.

Wenn man sich von dem eher trüben äußeren Erscheinungsbild nicht abschrecken lässt, erwartet einen eine sehr leckere Küche mit sehr ansehnlicher Anrichtung des Essens. Da sieht man sofort, dass Liebe drin steckt. Der Service war auch sehr aufmerksam und hatte immer einen lockeren Spruch auf der Lippe (vielleicht etwas zu locker) Sollte man auf jeden Fall mal ausprobiert haben und ist für mich ein Geheimtipp in Halle.

Ich gehe oft und gerne in das kleine Georgische Restaurant essen. Vor allem mag ich das Hähnchen-Schaschlik mit Kartoffelspalten, Tomaten-Knoblauch-Sauce und Weißbrot. Ich finde es angenehm, dass viele Speisen auch mit Knoblauch zubereitet werden. Das ist was Besonderes. Sehr lecker! Vielen Dank!

Долго собирались посетить этот уютный ресторанчик, и, наконец, посетили. В первый и последний раз. На первый взгляд - уютная атмосфера, но когда ты порцию хинкали ждешь 45 минут - то впечатление портится. Но это еще не все: принесли пиво, внимание, с тараканом на бутылке (см. фото). Официант, конечно, извинилась (персонал говорит на русском), но после такого сразу перехотелось кушать. Что касается самих хинкали - тоже не без огреха. Один - разорвался, и тарелка с хинкали была полна бульона. За что, кстати, тоже принесли извинения. Но вот ко вкусу - вопросов нет. Особенно хинкали с бараниной - очень вкусные и сочные. Как полагается в грузинской кухне - обильно перченые. Хинкали с говядиной также вкусные, но суховаты. Рекомендую с бараниной однозначно. Грузинское пиво сварено в Берлине, не понравилось. Евролагер с кислым послевкусием. И да, пиво с тараканом в итоговый счет не попало, за что отдельное спасибо.

Очень хороший грузинский ресторанчик, по атмосфере, как будто ты в Тбилиси находишься. Всё очень вкусно, великолепное обслуживание, адекватные немецкие цены. Однозначно рекомендую.

Our first Georgian meal. Wonderful cousine. We had a delightful georgian kabob of lamb. But it was in a pomegranet and onion vinegret that enhanced the lamb in new ways. We enjoyed every bite! The prices were fair, the service friendly, and the atmosphere cozy. We will certainly be going back for more meals.

Waren gestern das erste mal dort. Der service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen super lecker Die Bratkartoffeln sehr kross mit knoblauch..gerne mehr....Dip und Salat köstlich. Hähnchen knusprig und alles gut gewürzt Meine Freundin hatte teigtasche mit käse gefüllt und Ei . War auch sehr schmackhaft. Können es gerne weiterempfehlen und gehen sicher wieder dorthin.

Echt toll! Ich habe Gori zusammen mit einer Freundin besucht und wir waren echt begeistert. Wir haben zwar eine etwas längere Wartezeit gehabt aufs Essen, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir fanden es einfach super. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen , sowie freundliche Bedienung. Suppe ausgezeichnet. Der Teig mit dem Ei in der Mitte , einfach genial.

Neugierig auf das was uns erwartet, haben wir das Restaurant betreten. Sehr einfach eingerichtet. Aber sehr gut besucht. Die Karte war sicher sehr übersichtlich, doch wurden wir von dem Essen sehr positiv überrascht. Es war sehr schmackhaft und sehr würzig. Es hat hervorragend geschmeckt!

Wir haben einen runden Geburtstag mit 10 Leuten dort gefeiert. Die Karte war übersichtlich, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Den Blätterteigkuchen "Napoleon" kann ich nur sehr empfehlen. Der Innenraum ist nicht sehr groß, weshalb es aus meiner Sicht sinnvoll ist zu reservieren, wenn man ohnehin geplant hat dort hin zu gehen.

Von diesem georgischen Restaurant wurde mir eine Art Pizza mitgebracht. Die hatte viel Käse drauf. Die hat etwas nach zu viel Salz geschmeckt. Aber war trotzdem lecker. Ich bin nach der Hälfte schon Sat geworden. Dieser Restaurant bringt eine komplett neue Küche nach Halle.

Das georgische Restaurant ist eine absolute Bereicherung für Halles Gastronomie. Die Speisen schmecken durch die Karte hinweg alle sehr lecker und auch authentisch. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Plätze sollten bestellt werden.
